Sunlight filtered through the grayish clouds as they scattered
out across the sky, causing the grass of the field to sparkle
with freshly fallen rain. Propping up against a large oak tree,
arms folded loosely across her chest, the female sighed watching
as the clouds dispersed. She was wearing a loose black tunic
with matching black pants and a small silver choker necklace.
Droplets of water fell from the branches of the tree, landing on
her head and trailing down her long jet black hair. She gazed
out across the field with ocean blue eyes and hoped for more
company soon. Earlier, two young children had been playing in
the field, but they had been unable to see her, and hurried off
once the rains had begun. The cool, wet grass felt wonderful to
the woman's bare feet, and she curled her toes, enjoying the
silky feel as she waited.
(this had better work this time)

Lily looked at her father and saw the stern look he gave her. He
had just told her, that she was going to have to 'babysit'
Livia, the demonic creature that wanted to take over the world.
She balled her fist up, and shook her head. "She'll kill me!" He
sighed and shook his head. "No, she will not, because her mother
and I both agreed she needed this... Now please! Just follow
through damnit!" His eyes widened and her quickly covered his
mouth as purple orbs surrounded his body, and he turned into
stone. Lily gasped, and ran to her room, she picked her phone up
and dialed Livia's number. "Livia! My father just turned to
stone for cursing!" Livia sighed. She had told Lily to meet her
up, and than they were going to have a fun time together or
whatever...
[center][Present time.][/center]
Lily looked at the dark haired beauty. Even though she was a
demon she was still gorgeous. Sighing, she placed her hands on
her hips. "Alright, please tell me now... What are we gonna do?"
Livia flashed Lily a smile as she whispered. "Why... Lily, we
are going to visit your mother..." The emotion slipped from
Lily's eyes, and she followed Livia's every word and step, her
face as pale as stone. Her skin as cold as ice. She had nothing
left in her. She was going to go see her, mother... The woman
who had abandoned her... Great...

Standing there like a sentry watching over the field, the female
sighed and glanced around. Off in the nearby distance she sensed
to beings approaching. Both were female as she could tell, and
as they drew into her line of sight, she knew they were not
human. "Will they be able to see me?" she wondered silently as
she continued to watch, unsure if she should call out to them,
or just let them pass. The one with a darker aura seemed
distraught, and she knew that beings were not as friendly when
they were upset about something. However the lighter one seemed
perfectly fine, if not slightly annoyed, which confused her even
more. Her eyes took on a grey-ish hue as she tried to make up
her mind. Finally she decided to emerge from her place under the
tree and approach them. If they acknowledged her, it was up to
them.

She took in a deep breath. Trying to concentrate. What was the
meaning of this? Everything happened for a reason… Right? Lily
would have a hard time getting along with Livia. She almost
laughed. Though her face was pale and cold, she seemed to be
feeling warmer and warmer. She was an angel for Christ sake!
Looking down at the ground she sighed. Why her father would have
said that word? He knew he’d get frozen and they’d have to go
to… Lily’s mother. She clenched her fists and then tried to
smile. She could sense someone was walking towards them. Slowly
her hazel eyes glanced up to look at the female. Her own lips
produced a soft smile. She lifted up her elbow to nudge Livia
and took on it herself to greet them. “Hello, miss.” She smiled,
and all at once the color of her skin came rushing back, and she
seemed more alive than ever. Was this girl an angel too?! At
that very moment, Livia gritted her teeth. She wasn’t a polite
person after Blaze had left her. She looked away. Livia had no
idea why she would even think about taking Lily to her mother.
The woman hated her own daughter. She was worse than Livia, a
dmeoness! Shaking her head, she muttered under her breath. “Hi.”

Ah, so they could see her after all. Then they were not mortal
beings. The lighter one's aura looked similar to her own, but
there was a difference. Her aura was almost completely white,
where as her own aura had many strings of color attached to it.
Maybe she is a similar being to me then, the female thought to
herself. She nodded to them both politely, ignoring the darker
one's rude behavior, chalking it up to the distress her aura was
displaying. "Hello. My name is Sera, Sera Anjerona," she bowed
slightly at the introduction. "And who might you two be?"

Lily looked at the girl, and could only smile. This girl,
certainly did have some sort of beauty. Was it because Lily saw
every one beautiful? Or was it something else? Lily even thought
Livia was gorgeous beyond this world. Lily held out her hand to
the woman. "It's grand to meet you, Sera." She smiled sweetly.
Her head, turned to look at Livia. The girl was staring at Sera
like she was her next meal. Lily narrowed her eyes and laughed.
"Sera, this is my... Friend Livia..." As her name was spoken,
she looked up, and at Sera. Her lips twisting into a frown.
"Yeah, I am Livia... And this is my... Friend... Lily..." Lily
giggled lightly, and placed her hands on her hips. "How are you
doing, Sera? Anything we can help you with?" Livia parted her
lips, as she was about to speak to Lily, but she was cut off by
a look from her, and growled. "I'll be somewhere else..." She
turned her body around and walked to a swing. Swinging back and
forth.

What's her problem? Sera thought to herself as she watched Livia
saunter off to who knows where. Her eyes flashed a darker blue
for a moment before shifting back to their original ice blue
color. She smiled at Lily as she spoke. "It's nice to meet you
both then, Lily," she turned toward the direction the other girl
was walking. "And Livia. There isn't much to help with really. I
was just going to ask what you two might be doing out here by
yourselves?" She chuckled. "Not that I can say much, I suppose,
being out here by myself too." Sera glanced around the field at
the little droplets of water on the grass. The way the sunlight
touched them and made them shimmer like mini prisms of light
captured her attention for a brief moment. She thought back to a
time when she had awoken to find herself in a field similar to
this one, only much further away. It was the first day she could
remember of her very long history, and it wasn't exactly her
favorite memory. She shook her head to clear the thought from
her mind, instead focusing on the hazel color of the girl's
eyes, her own shimmering to match them. "Hey, um not that it's
any of my business, but what kinds of creatures are you two?"
