Everyday was just the same. Not much seemed to be happening at
all lately. The people were all so focused on themselves now.
The selfishness seemed to just be leaking from this ugly town.
It was ugly in her eyes. Only at night, then it could be fun.
But even then just rarely. The people here seemed to be so
scheduled. Everyday, the doors were locked at seven pm. And
people seemed to get up and make the streets crowded at the
start of seven am. A full circle of everyday's living. It made
life so 'boring'. The world has come to an era where only modern
technology seemed to be existing. People could barely even take
care of themselves without any technology. Mimi, she just wasn't
used to it at all. She didn't feel any freedom and that was what
she hated the most. The technology took the free will in
exchange of an easy and simplified life. Why people fell for
that so easily, was a mystery to her. Though, she didn't let it
slow her down or change her mind. She still went and stood where
she wanted to be, had her own opinions and yet could be the
sweetest person anyone had ever met. In this town, her name was
like gold. A sweet innocent girl, yet no one knew what happened
at night. It was something she rather kept it that way. It
wouldn't be an exciting life without secrets after all. Today
would be another boring day, yet Mimi always kept hoping on a
different outcome. Maybe some blast would happen and all the
technology would be faded and non-existing. She sighed lightly
at those thoughts, knowing that wouldn't happen any time soon.
She knew, the more years passed, the more technology appeared.
What if they'd turn everyone into robots to have an everlasting,
dull life? She shuddered at those thoughts, pacing through the
crowded streets. The streets slowly emptied though, since the
streetlights turned on, knowing it was six pm now. "Just an hour
left. Such a shame.." She huffed and sat down on bench that
       seemed to be somewhat floating.
Her clothing was pretty abnormal though. It was a dress. It
looked pretty simple, and it fit perfectly. The first layer of
her dress had a beautiful icy blue color with 8 pitch black
buttons. The buttons were actually just for show and design.
Underneath was a white dress of a very soft fabric that felt
comfortable against the skin. The sleeves were puff sleeves.
Even in the cold days, she'd be wearing this. It was definitely
her favorite dress. Around her legs, spotless white stockings
were fitting perfectly as well. Her boots had a creme color with
laces that went from the top to the bottom. Her hands were
delicately covered by black gloves, that was made of soft fabric
as well. In her thick, curly white hair sat a rather big black
ribbon, adding to the whole outfit. All in all, someone might
say she looked like a porcelain doll and so fragile, yet very
cute as well. It was a look she loved to go for. One thing stood
out though, and that were her maroon colored eyes. They were on
the edge of being red, yet too dark to really be strange. It was
strange enough to most people, but they didn't really seem to
care and went on with their own business. She did get awkward
situations and strange looks most of the day, but Mimi didn't
really care. Hell, why should she? She loved the way she was,
and she could at least have some fun. Most people were
forgetting about fun, and just thought about working, working
and more working, to earn money, to buy even more advanced
engineering products. Mimi just sat on the bench still, her
covered hands underneath her chin, sighing. She already knew
people glanced at her when they passed, but she couldn't bring
herself to care. She just looked across the street, hoping
something might happen. She already felt her own heart pulsing,
knowing she wanted to do some wicked stuff. Night time was
coming, and her creepy side was just around the corner. Or was
       it?
