Re: Cyrstalia
By: Shiro Nagase Date: June 28, 2012, 5:57 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
"Nagase... calling the kettle black..." Those words seemed to
crawl deep within the man's psyche; eating at him from the
inside out and blackening his soul even more. Was he a murderer?
Was he the man who caused the deaths of everyone he loved? Was
this curse actually HIM? Adel. . No. Exodus growled as the man
stood up and offered Exodus' own death. "Let's... See.... If..
You... Could.... Deliver... On... Your..... Word... Old man.."
The growled words struggled to leave Exodus' throat while he,
himself, struggled to hold on to whatever morsel of sanity he
had left. This was no place for a fight, not over the freshly
dispatched body of the woman he had once loved. Now, he had her
daughter's heart and she had his; a gift. This still doesn't
help the fact that Exodus' reality was that someone he loved
died. As the man's fist began to glow, Exodus' blood began to
boil and his own winds spun around his body; becoming as sharp
as blades circling around him. They were as thin as razors and
nearly invisible; only visible by refracting light. Golden eyes
bled with tears of pain, but his snarling lips curved up into a
smile; sick and twisted as if looking forward to it.
As the man lunged toward him, Exodus' fist became engulfed
in light and wind blades, was thrown toward the man as well. His
blood boiled, his energy sky rocketing and a sinister laugh left
his lips. As he was ready to dispatch this murderer - a family
friend no less- The presence of his love shifted in front of
him, between the two men. His punch instantly stopped and the
blades of wind, which would possibly give light cuts onto Fayt,
instantly dispersed. He wouldn't dare. . DARE inflict harm upon
the woman he loved; the woman who survived his curse for so many
years. Exodus' breathing was labored and his golden eyes
remained locked upon the Darkfire. "A... Murderer.. I am not.."
He growled under his breath while watching Fayt and her
transformed self; even now, she was beautiful. Her glowing body
only seemed to link with his own, though his mind was elsewhere
and only his darkness, his rage, anything that was once Adel was
gone and this cold shell remained; Exodus... He listened to what
Fayt had to say and Exodus' eyes reluctantly left Dems and
landed upon the creature who emerged from the darkness of the
corner.
Exodus wanted to rip his head off of his scrawny little neck.
Inhibition was out of the window and only death was on his mind.
He loved Amaya, as a lover and now as a mother. His mother was
never good to him; she was the birth of evil in the Nagase
family in his mind anyway. If she were to ever show up, he would
stop at no means to dispatch her. Taking deep growling breaths,
Exodus eyed the man as him and Fayt spoke. He couldn't attack
him, not now. Fayt was in the way. But as he listened, he
learned that this was already spoken of and planned. But why?
Why like this?! This wasn't fucking fair!!! Exodus' hands balled
into fists. Winds still swirling around him, ripping at his
flowing red hair. For now, he would forget about Dems being
there and focus upon the man who had done this despicable deed.
His own mind, like Dems, began to speak to him, telling him
tales of liberation from his curse if he finally avenge a death
from his past. How spilling and drinking his blood out of his
headless neck would surely cure the man of his curse. Yesss. It
had to. It all made sense, right? If that was all he had to do..
he could save Fayt!
As the words shared between the two ended and Fayt offered
Exodus's company to meet these 'elders', Exodus smiled a sick
and twisted grin as thoughts of bloodshed entered his mind. NO!
He fought with himself and gripped his head. Exodus started to
yell in pain as he fought his vary nature. "I am NOT a
murderer!" He growled before Exodus took control of Adel once
more and he stood silent once more. Noting the hole in the wall,
Exodus turned to Fayt once more and nodded. He will go with her
and he will stand by her side and not allow ANYONE to even touch
a hair on the beauty's flesh. While she was making the portal,
Exodus felt the winds change and Dems had grabbed the man,
preparing to rip him asunder with a deadly punch. Exodus
seemingly vanished and appeared between Dems and the man, his
own aura flaring up to stop the punch thrown by the crazed Dems.
The power of the punch collided with Exodus' flared aura,
exploding around them and utterly shattering the house. Exodus
looked back at Dems with a smile plastered upon his lips. "Do
not worry, old man. I wish to rip this fiend open with slow cuts
starting at his feet as well. But, we may need him and besides,
Fayt promised to keep him alive till then. We will have our
chance.." Exodus spoke in growls before turning and following
Fayt. "He wont escape.."

Fayt was not paying much attention to the rambunctious
acts of the enraged men behind her. Though when she felt that
rise in power, her wings expanded and suddenly, wind caressed
flesh before turning into a sudden storm of aura and strength
that was hardly rivaled as it formed a sphere around them to
keep the house from collapsing. Turning a glare to the two grown
men, she growled deeply. "Do NOT destroy my mother's house!" She
snarled out, arms folded over her bosom as she glanced to her
mother and frowned. "Liem was her friend.. Is her friend. He
will not die until I say so. Until I have removed the heads of
the two who did this to my mother, I will not allow him to die,
for he's the only one that can truly identify them." Without
hesitation, the winds ceased to exist before she let the wall
behind Liem to pull him in where he then came out clutched by
the ankle in her small hand. Liem didn't care, he didn't even
seem to be half alive. Though that was to be expected of the man
that just killed someone he cared for deeply. Dulled gold eyes
turned to Dems as he stared at the man with a sorrowful
expression. "If I hadn't of done it.. Then she would have
perished in a pain staking way that I just could not allow.. I
wouldn't allow her to die in pain.."
Fayt jerked his leg a bit and simply dragged him along behind
her. "Dad, Adel.. It's time to go. So shut your traps. You'll
both get your vengeance just as I shall have mine. Deme is
currently frozen in ice right now.. I have made sure that he
will not interfere.. His mentality was just returned earlier, I
do not want to lose my brother too. So calm your shit before you
disturb him with your flaunts of power. Wait until we're across
the barrier." She hissed, her anger finally beginning to show in
luminescent blue orbs and expression. Dark flesh was coated in
the darkened ice as she walked through the void and suddenly
appeared in the light. Dropping Liem's leg, she glared at him.
"Stand." Liem nodded and scrambled to his feet quickly as any
butler would, keeping his stern stance. Looking around her, she
growled a bit but kept her composure as she awaited the council
members to show themselves. One by one, other lights began to
appear, showing elderly women and men with lines that told
stories of great misery and joy upon their faces. "Point them
out." She stated sternly, Liem instantly pointing to the raven
haired woman and the red haired male.
"Y'know.. You two really are pieces of shit.." She muttered. It
was at this point, that there was a massive outburst of arguing
and gasps of displeasure. Though did that bother her? No, it
only made her smirk, those ebony canines protruding over her
lower lip as bangs covered her eyes. The elderly woman suddenly
appeared before Fayt and cocked her arm back to slap her for her
words, though just an inch before it made impact, the woman's
arm was sliced in the middle of her forearm. "You fucking think
you can kill my mother then slap me you cunt!?" Wires lined her
finger tips like thin whips as she soon made a marionette out of
the woman and laughed. That laugh bone chilling in it's
malicious intentions as she twitched her fingers and let the
woman's flesh slowly be peeled away. Screams and cries of mercy
and pain began to fill the air though it only brought her
satisfaction. Liem standing there with a smirk as he did nothing
to help the elder. "Love.. Dad... I do believe I've made my
point.. Have at them. All of them. Even the council. I want them
all to pay for their decision." Dropping the woman, she watched
her squirm and twitch in pain before she turned on her heels and
ice began to rise and build from the ground, forming into a seat
for her to take.
She wanted the front row for the show she was about to get. The
excellent shower of blood she'd enjoy so much as she awaited
their moves. Liem stood by her side and she quirked a brow,
looking up at him. "Your son, does he plan to kill my brother
and I even if the council is gone?" The man shook his head but
remained in silence for the moment before Fayt reached up and
rested a palm on his bicep. "You know they want to kill you
right? I don't believe I can save you from that." He only shook
his head once more and gave a faint smile. "I'd rather them kill
me than to live a day longer. I killed my best friend, Fayt. I
honestly deserve what ever they give me." The dark skinned woman
let hair drape over her shoulders and legs as she leaned to the
side and rested her cheek on her closed fist. "But you did it to
save her from more pain." She stated this clearly and he nodded.
"So don't go dying yet, butler. I do believe I'll be needing
your services with the clean up of this mess. I'll have to
appoint a new council and such. Cherrie's a mess and I know that
from the slashes on your face. I'm the only one who's keeping
composure and that's because I've already snapped mentally and
blocked all emotions.. Here after all this is finished, I'm
going to break down and probably cry for a long time."
Liem sighed and hesitated before resting a hand on her head. "Do
you intend to keep me around Fayt?" She brushed his hand from
her head and nodded. "Yes, I do, as long as my soon to be
husband and father will calm down after slaughtering the true
murderers. I do believe I'll be needing you around to keep
things tidy for me. You served my mother as a butler, you'll do
the same for me. Your son, bring him along as well. I'd like to
meet him. Also, take note of this day. It's going into the
archives later." Liem smiled warily before he simply nodded, he
couldn't deny Amaya's daughter. He had watched her grow up as
well, as well as be in a coma for years. Sighing, he looked out
and a pen and note pad appeared in flames in his hands as he
began to take notes for the archives.

The power along the punch may have been stopped, but Dems own
power pressed on, an immense immortal strength possessed through
years training longer than all, but the rippled muscle of his
arm, the releasing kinetic energy pulled back and stopped, his
fingers pointed to the throat of the Nagase, Dems smile growing
broader against his face, a slow laugh beginning to rise in his
throat. "Wait your turn, Naga... You'll get your chance to
grovel..." Dems applied pressure, his fingers pressing into the
throat of the man standing between a predator bird and his kill.
There was nothing heard from Fayt, the sudden burst of energy
and the prevention of the destruction didn't even break his
gaze, nor did he listen to the shouts of the young woman, his
eyes only fixated on the man who had blocked the killing strike.
"Adel..." Dems grinned more, slowly dropping the pressure on the
man's neck. "If you ever get in my way again, I'll kick your
tiny ass... like your father."
The man he had discovered was called Liem. That man's words are
what angered the beast the most, but Dems quieted his rage for
the moment, his body hardening as he watched Fayt grab the man
still pinned to the wall by his hand. "Whoever the hell you
are... You will not live this night... I could have told her
goodbye..." He relinquished the man's throat, letting him drop
to the ground as Fayt pulled him into the portal she had
created. With a deep breath he heeded Exodus words, watching the
man follow the woman into the portal. There was something about
that one that caused him a discomfort. Maybe the fact that he
had gold running through him, Dems knew what that kind of energy
did to people, what one had to do to obtain such that. He
followed them through, arriving just in time to watch Liem point
out the 'True culprits.' True culprits... he was the one who had
completed the act.
What Dems could derive from much of the conversation, the ideas
still mulling over and over in his demented mind, he could tell
that this bastard, standing no more than ten feet away from his
body as he walked up beside the others, was hired by the
bastards out there, the lights that where appearing in order on
the horizon of where ever the fuck he was. He didn't care, he
didn't listen to anything other the screams of a dying woman,
flange right before his eyes by what he considered just another
one of them. But this one held part of Amaya inside of her.
Maybe that was the only distinctions between those he had to
punish, and those he would let walk the realms for days beyond
the coming ones. She called him Dad. He had never known the girl
to do such. She was not born of his blood, but Dems loved Amaya
strong enough to accept her children as a part of himself too.
Fayt had not accepted the idea as much as others had. Dems ears
finally opened, the man pivoting where he stood from side to
side, his smile only growing wider and wider as she finally
spoke to him. "Have at them" That was all he needed. "You can
have that half Nagase..." He pointed, grinning. "I want that
half... they look less afraid." Dems took a few steps forward,
drawing his blade as he did so, his eyes gleaming as the fangs
began to extend.
The blade drawn, Dems held the tip to the ground on his left
side, pointing the blade deliberately as he took a steadying
breath. "Fenikkusu... Scream..." The sword shattered instantly,
giving way to a magnificent sight, the ground becoming a silver
sheet as the hilt of the sword was all that was left in his
hand. He walked forward more, His steps slow on purpose as he
watched the wretched group shake softly. "My name... Is Dems
Darkfre..." He flicked his hand, exposing the wrist and the
blade as he took another slow breath. "Goodbye."
Dems flicked his wrist the blade rising in a phantom strike as
the floor shattered, leaving the original as the sheet of metal
that covered it came apart, The glistening feathers enough to
block the view of all as they hung in the air, reflecting and
refracting light every way as Dems watches carefully. "You
first.." Dems swung the hilt, and then thrust the weapon
forward, a group of feathers flying into the chest of one of the
women who wasn't quivering. "Kehehehe..." Dems spun, dancing
through his display as he pulled and before the woman could
release the echoes of pain she was ripped asunder in seconds.
Blood splattering the other members and the walls as nothing but
broken bones and a heap of organs splatted against the floor
where her feet once stood. "Finish this.."
Dems stopped, grinning to himself as he began to spin and turn,
swinging his blade wildly with every motion, a disturbed dance,
elegant and powerful as he directed the feathers this way and
that way, the glinting silver casting blood one way and the
next, becoming stained themselves with the crimson of their
targets. Wave after wave came from all directions. With one
powerful step he held his hands out, pulling something himself
as the massive wave or weapons lifted the many people he had
chosen to kill. "Too... easy..." Dems clapped his hands
together, the blades injecting themselves one after the other
into the bodies of the men and women. He pulled his hands apart
and in that moment, all the people, sliced and bleeding, shared
the same fate as the first. The men and women exploded like
bulbous fleshbags, their blood now raining down upon them all,
the feathers recollecting to make his sword once more as he
tilted his head and allowed himself the shower of blood,
indulging in the taste as liters poured down upon them.
"Kehehehehehe..."
Then he heard her, a single person left on his side, her voice
dainty as she rose away from the attack. Then he looked to the
woman, his face covered in the blood of her comrades. "All this
work has made me quite hungry..." How long had it been since he
had indulged his vampiric side? Too long he supposed. He had
hidden it in the crevices of his mind, now unlocked because of
the incident. "Come... Come... My my my, you're not a bad
looking one..." Dems moved closer and closer, drawing her out as
he smiled, stained red. "Come come come..." When the woman stood
up, he rushed, grabbing her and yanking her head back by the
hair as he let himself indulge once more in the taste of blood
itself, tearing the gaping hole open as he drew everything from
within her. Screaming loudly when the vessel was empty, throwing
the body to the ground as the scream turned into a laugh, his
head turning now, licking his lips as the golden iris' now
stained red stared wholly on the assassin who had completed the
killing, his eyes widening and his smile growing.

"If .....you .....think .....you .....still .....got .....the
.....juice, old ....man.."Exodus' boiling golden eyes remained
locked upon the Darkfire while Fayt and the others talked. He
gasped as Fayt was attacked, but he did not move; only his eyes
from the man and to his woman. He growled deeply, holding the
sound inwardly while rolling his neck. His fingers curled and
blades slipped from the sockets where his fingernails were held.
His breathing was labored and a sort of smoke was exiled from
his mouth. He simply waited while standing behind Fayt and next
to Dems. His head tilted though, as Fayt gave the command to
attack and kill. Now, normally, Adel was somewhat peaceful,
never fighting to kill, simply for fun and sport; unless
something was at stake, he still would try not to kill. But,
during this mindset, Adel wasn't in no shape to spare any lives.
Especially these heathens who put time limits on the lives of
people; good people. He snarled and rolled his eyes while Fayt
moved out of their way to allow the slaughter to begin. Even
though there were a few council people, there were dozens of
armed guards who threatened to try and stop them.
"Heheheeeeeheee" Exodus, laughed while arching his back so that
he's looking into the sky. The ground trembled as harsh winds
and power escaped his body, spiraling around him in torrents of
energy, pushing away anything that came near. "Genocide
Cutter!!"He growled and howled before vanishing in a single ray
of light from where he stood. The spot where Dems had directed
him seemed to become quiet as all movement stopped. Exodus was
nowhere to be found, but it was apparent that he had done
something. The bodies of the guards seemed to topple over. Some
heads were severed, while others had lost their torsos. Others
had removed limbs while some where completely eviscerated. Their
bodies soon split apart, gushing blood all over the walls. Lo
and behold there Adel stood, his body forming out of
invisibility by the coating of blood. He held one within his
arms and snapped his neck. "Grrrooowwwllll!!" He growled in
excitement as his crazy was finally able to be released. His
body was coated in blood, as were the walls and the ceiling.
As more appeared, Exodus' eyes seemed to glow with the thrill of
the kill. He vanished and appeared before on, his leg lifting
and sweeping across the guy's neck. He then switched and turned
his other leg up and drove it down through another man; blades
of wind being brought out through his feet and doing most of the
damage. Though in his kicking dance flurry, one just happened to
attack Exodus from behind, driving his sword through the
Nagase's body and splitting him almost in two. There was a pause
for at least a minute before the severed body began to pull
itself back together with tendrils of Daku Hadou. The sound it
made was akin to ropes being pulled and snapped apart. His head
turned backward and Eyed the assailant who looked like he had
seen a ghost. With the weapon still inside of him, Exodus walked
toward the man and pulled the sword out, only to cleave him in
half. With a yell, Exodus let off a shock wave of energy which
damaged the integrity of the building itself. With the ground
rumbling and the building in shambles, Exodus turned his
attention to his main course. The one who attacked Fayt. He
snarled and grabbed the woman from behind, breaking her arms and
legs and leaving her a screaming hanging mess before him. He bit
into her neck and drained her of any life that she had remaining
as the building started to topple around them. He relished this
moment; the moment where his inhibitions were finally no more.

Blood, it was everywhere. Even as she leaned back in the
homemade chair and propped her cheek up on her fist, she didn't
take her eyes off the fight. Watching as Adel and Dems scoured
the people with fury and hatred. A chuckle slipping her lips as
she looked to Liem to see not an ounce of blood had touched him.
"You can tell you're a butler." She muttered, not caring as she
was showered with the blood of the people that had insisted the
murder of her mother. Slowly, she was cracking, becoming
something no one wanted to see. Not even her, she didn't want to
slip but she could feel it edging closer. These were the people
that she had trusted with everything, had trusted with her
mother's life. And they betrayed her. Placing time stamps on
people like they were produce to be sold. Nails dug into her
palms and she leaned forward when Dems and Adel had finished.
Seeing how Dems eyed Liem with that same sadistic want, she
quirked a brow. "No killing Liem. He's going to atone for what
he's done in a much better way. I'm not going to give him the
easy way out of things." She stated this as she drew herself to
her feet.
Bio-luminescent locks contrasting against dark flesh as she
stared at the two with glowing orbs. She took a deep breath and
looked to Liem. "You're the only one who knows who was to be
appointed to carry Crystalia, so I need you alive anyways to
take me to the documents archive." She noted, watching Liem
simply nod and finish writing things down. The ice made chair
crumbled and she scrunched her nose a bit at the stench of the
bodies surrounding them. "Putrid wastes of filth.." Muttering
this beneath her breath, she gritted her teeth and started to
the other side of the room, her foot lashing out and kicking at
bodies to remove them from her way. She watched them splatter
against the ground with a pleased smirk curling plush flesh.
Drenched in blood, she looked around and stood there, looking to
Dems and Adel. "Dems, your daughter.. Your true daughter of your
kin, you need to see her." She said this before she turned on
her heels and sat down upon the air just as her mother had once
done. That devious smirk crossing her lips as she snickered at
the bodies. "I believe everything's done... Unless you'd both
enjoy cleaning up this mess as well? If not I can handle the
mess."

That wicked tongue, one that so eagerly lashed at the minds of
the beings of this realm circled his slightly parted mouth,
cleaning the oozing red substance from his flesh. He did not
even turn to see the finishing of the Nagase's work, he could
care less what that man did with his half of the blood bath, on
his side there was nothing left but bones, blood, and the
occasional pile of organs strewn about by the blades what still
circled above their heads. But those eyes, those eyes, filled
with the true hatred, remained locked on one man. This Liem.
Teeth bared as if a wild animal ready to attack, the man seemed
to have found some safely in the idea that he was protected
behind his step daughter, the woman speaking her intents to him
as if her word would stop him if he ever received the chance.
Dems saw it as the man should remain two steps behind Fayt and
ten miles away from Dems at all times, because at least with ten
miles, the man would have a second to get away. The blades fell
from the the air above their heads, satisfied, as they shattered
against the ground and crept in a mass of material back to the
sheath where the sword was held, only to reform into the blade.
"I suggest if you need me, you send a different messenger...
This one might get killed." He spat at Liem's feet, his hand
resting on his blade as he walked back towards the portal in
which they had come into this vile realm. "And don't send the
Nagase, either... I'd be too tempted to play around with that
one..." He looked to Adel, smirking, his fangs flashing as the
viciousness contained in his gaze could rip a mortal man's heart
from his chest. After a moment of watching, listening, and
observing, Dems chuckled and moved once more. "I don't clean...
and I will send her a letter once I reach my home..." With that,
Dems took one more step and in an instant was gone like he had
never been there, the only thing left behind, a pair of blood
footprints where he had been walking.

Crystalia was slowly returning to it's normal ways.
After Amaya had perished, the actions of the council being shown
and rather gruesome at that having brought their own demise.
Hands stained with blood, more actions that had yet to be
determined, and a lot of undecided ways of making this place
prosperous again. Though it would always lack the familiar scent
of strawberries and loving warmth. That's what everyone thought
anyways, until a rather nostalgic scent infiltrated their noses
in a simple rural area. Resting on the ground that day was a
sight of curious things after a frightening event. That
frightening event being the sudden eruption of a long inactive
mountain. Much like a volcano, it was a large cone shaped
mountain, made up of the many different colors and sizes of
crystals that littered Crystalia like stones would Earth. Time
was not linear in this place, it was spastic and unpredictable.
There weren't many true Crystalians left. Only two pure bloods
existed now, so the people that stayed in Crystalia were ones
that a long lost face had gathered here in order to preserve and
sustain life for them. People that had been picked up off
streets to give loving homes to.
Though they had lived here long enough to know that the mountain
in question should have never gone off. It's eruption of light
spiraling into the sky sending people to flee in terror of what
could happen. For they knew not of what the eruption would
bring. The ground quivered and shook, sending people to their
knees in some cases as they tried to get into their homes to
safety. The light blinded some for moments at a time, giving
them an even bigger scare. As it spiraled into the sky, it's
changing colors lit up the darkened clouds before it collided
with what seemed to be a meteor of sorts. An unidentified object
made up of what appeared to be rock and a translucent material
that reflected the light but became nothing but dust upon
meeting the atmosphere, sprinkling the ground and causing it to
glitter slightly. What came next sent chills up one woman's
spine who was rather captivated by the events unfolding rather
than frightened by them. While others were fleeing and grabbing
their children to go into their homes, she was standing there,
watching as something came barreling into the earth. Upon closer
inspection, she carefully looked into the crater that was
created on impact only to be even further surprised than she was
before.
Seeing an infant laying in the middle of the indention, the
woman panicked and immediately rushed down, nearly losing her
footing as she tripped and stumbled into the heart of the hole.
Picking up the screaming child with a motherly touch, the
frowned a bit at seeing a bracelet that had an inscription on
it. Amaya Analise It was only a first name and a middle name,
there was no last name. Yet as she inspected the child further,
she came to find another object. A necklace that was rather
strange, but she didn't dare to remove it. Unfolding the blanket
that bundled Amaya, she found a note. It was written on a piece
of parchment in teal ink, elegant hand writing described and
cleared up a few things.
To whom ever finds this child,
Her name is Amaya Analise, she has no last name, so please give
her your's. Take care of this child, she is of great importance
to this place, to everyone. Breath no word of this letter, burn
it when you have read it. This child is the reincarnation of the
goddess Amaya. She will have no memory of this, she will have no
recollection of anything. There will be nothing, so you must
teach her everything. Do not tell her who she use to be, you
must keep your tongue held tight. Everyone else who begins to
notice or question where she came from, tell them to hold their
tongues as well and to treat her no differently.
After that, the letter just described what she was and normal
things such as dietary needs and how to take care of her in her
early years. The woman, Maggie, had already crumpled the letter
and shoved it into her pocket while she retreated out of the
crater before others came, replacing Amaya with a large piece of
crystal she kicked from the side of the deep hole. Carefully
keeping the small being wrapped in the blanket, she rushed to
her home. For years Maggie watched Amaya grow, her white hair
and fluffy white ears only getting longer for she feared trying
to cut the little one's hair, not wanting to snip her ear by
accident. It wasn't until Amaya was ten that Maggie finally cut
her hair after she couldn't play due to always running into
things from not being able to see. Amaya did show great
resemblance to the former queen of this land, her multi-colored
orbs, her rabbit ears, her rather long and cat like tail that
exceeded her own height when fully laid out; it was all there.
Even the scent of sweet strawberries. Amaya attended school,
played with friends, got into trouble; she was a normal girl
without any recollection of the great person she was before.
The subtle changes in her appearance were brought on by the fact
that she was full blooded Crystalian rather than partial blooded
like she was before. No longer showing any signs of 'impurity'
as some would call it. Others would question who she was and why
she looked so much like her former self, that same warming smile
and sweet disposition, but Maggie would only push them off the
subject. Even now as Amaya was standing, her aging process
ceased at only the age of twenty-two, she was still unaware of
her past life. Running around, working, helping others. She had
lived only on Crystalia, for Maggie had never allowed her to
travel for the fact that she would miss her too much. Or that's
what she claimed. Though the actual reason was because others
would recognize her if they knew her well. She couldn't afford
that, because in the letter she burned those years ago, Amaya
was suppose to remember on her own rather than being pushed into
it. It was suppose to take place in Crystalia, not anywhere
else. The letter had been signed at it's bottom right corner by
a name that was well known to be a friend of Amaya's in her past
life. Carefully curved and elegantly placed, Amaya was a grown
woman now.
Standing outside, curing the ground to till it and work it for
the growing of flowers, Amaya was in a good mood. Humming a song
that she had no idea she knew until a few days ago. It was
already starting to take place, little tid bits that were coming
about, little reminders of who she once was. Though Amaya wasn't
aware of that. Maggie somewhat feared the day that Amaya would
remember who she was, only because she didn't want to lose her
daughter. Be it not by blood but bond, it would still break her
heart. "Mom, you're staring again." Came that gentle and serene
voice, startling Maggie out of her thoughts while she looked
down into those vivid orbs and smiled. "I'm sorry sweetie, I
just love you so much." Amaya chuckled and brushed herself off
after standing up, her ears twitching slightly as she smiled
brightly to her mother. "I love you too, but I have to go into
town right quick for more supplies. I'll be back soon." Giving
her mom a quick kiss on the cheek, Amaya rushed off as quick as
usual down the dirt path towards town. Today could bring a lot
of things, what that was, she didn't know.

In a million places, with a million voices screaming together,
came but one coalescing figure. A stark white apparition in one
local; a tremendous darkness in another: These figures, these
people, this... person, appeared effortlessly all at once, and
combined in the same graceful fashion. This condensing of
personas; of personalities and facades, of charismatic men, and
dazzlingly demented demons, was birthed without a twist of
reality, or so much as a ripple through time, and yet a
sickening plunge in temperature approached with utmost speed.
As if riding an unheard, and unnoticed wind; carried not by the
currents or pockets of air in reality, this deathly chill
pervaded each and every inch of the mortal plane almost
instantly. It gripped men's hearts with a vice of sheer terror,
while entire crops were frostbitten and frozen solid. It tore
across the land, sea, and sky alike with no hindrance or pause,
as it raced to meet the arriving force. The arriving being.. The
arriving man. Trees bowed before the almighty chill washing over
the physical world, and as the vicious drop in temperature
reached its dangerous climax, it too was no more.
Like so much dust blown into a blizzard; dark spots contrasting
the beautiful and dangerous white, the sudden and inexplicable
cold was washed away by what had always been. The temperature
rose; fear fading from the heart's of men, as the visage of a
man solidified into corporeal definition. He stood a giant
amongst the average; nearing ten feet in height, and six from
shoulder to shoulder, but his eyes were as gentle and nurturing
as a new mother witnessing her child's first step. A beautiful
and tranquil sea of azure resting within each nestled orb.
This man-mountain; dressed in a robe of the finest black silk,
and standing amidst a simple clearing of bright jade grass,
brushed stray dust and dirt from his new found torso casually,
and took his first step back into the lives of this creation.
His luminous eyes scanned the surroundings he had so recently
formed within, and his hands patiently rested in the folds of
his silken garment. There was no need to move with haste; an
eternity spent waiting for this moment to arrive, and even
before his first lung full of air could be released, a shy smile
painted itself upon the man's countenance.
He was happy to have reborn without a fight; without a dangerous
release of power, and most of all, without another innocent life
being bloodied and corrupted. He had spent so many eons and
countless millenia waiting for the opportunity to reappear and
visit the lands he had oversaw and cleansed so many vicious
eternities ago, and this time he was of a true and pure nature.
He had rid himself of greed and pride; of the lust for power,
and the gluttony for war, and now he stood silently amidst the
surreal lands of many other beings with but one set of hesitant
thoughts upon his mind.
"Will I be accepted, Will I be respected, or Will I be feared?"
He gently toyed with the emotional struggles of mortality whilst
taking another step forward. Loving the feel of the earth
beneath his feet, the wind caressing his new body, and the sound
of life in every direction. So long had he been lost to the dark
and twisted cavern of his eternal resting place, that such
trivial things were now more prominent than ever. More important
than he ever thought possible.
Each blade of grass, each sinew of flesh, each strand of hair,
and every ounce of life in the universe was now before him, and
he could feel the overwhelming warmth from it all. His heart
beat for the first time in ages; a single deep thump within his
massive and muscular chest that signaled the beginning of
something all together different from what he had known before.
Sure he had witnessed mankind; humanity and xeno alike,
creatures of all shapes and sizes, powers, gods, demons,
deities, lords, warriors, and all sorts of other beings, from
his perch atop the nexus, but this was the first time since his
dismissal that he had truly felt it all around him. The first
time he could once more feel and see with his own form. The
first time he could look upon the beauties and atrocities of
reality with his own eyes and see what he could not from a
distance.
The thought was causing quite a stir in his chest; another loud
thump seeming to push him a step forward with its lifting of the
veil, and with the first breath exhaled through his slightly
open mouth, the man broke into a full smile. A smile of the
purest and most undeniable happiness possible. A physical
manifestation of what some could call pure bliss and joy. He
smiled for minutes continuously; looking here and there, to and
fro, simply enjoying the feeling of life. The feeling of being
alive. The feelings of a warm world, with warm hearts, and warm
words.
"Its good to be back" He spoke with an unsheathed vigor; life
granting his words a charming and soothing tone, as his heart
beat again, and continued to do so rhythmically.
"Its good to be...." His voice trailed away into the wind as he
looked out across the world and thought upon which path to take
next. Which road to walk, which choices to make, and most
importantly, which of his friends he would seek out first.

In the time she had been raised and the time she had
been dead, it was like there were two separate flows of time.
Which there were. Tilting her head, she looked around her. Amaya
was only aware of the life she lived now, not the life she lived
before. In this, she was very carefree rather than pressured
with a bunch of responsibilities. White locks shadowed her face,
her flesh lightly sunkissed with a line of freckles scouring her
cheeks and nose. She looked almost too sweet and cute, though
for her age, she really was. Her ears twitched, the rather long
and floppy limbs picking up on some rather strange sounds. It
wasn't until she nearly felt frozen in place that she became
aware of the events taking place. Having been spaced out up till
now, Amaya wasn't quite paying the closest of attentions. Being
warmed up rather quickly though, she pursed her lips in
confusion while mutlicolored orbs peered at the world around
her. Those familiar crystals littering the ground and plant
life, giving birth to new slivers and shards on the petals of
flowers and leaves of trees.
She wasn't quite sure what had happened, but she was curious to
find out. Shrugging a bit, she shoved her hands into the pockets
of her black cloak, silently watching while she hunted for the
source of what just happened and kept an eye on where she was
going. It wasn't long after that she crossed paths with a
strange fellow she wasn't familiar with. His large appearance
towering over her five foot four inches by at least half or
more. Quirking a curious brow, plush pillows of primrose
coloring tilted at their corners into a gentle smile. She seemed
motherly, quaint, sweeter than sugar from a pure cane; and
that's just how she was. "I suppose I should greet the new
fellow, though he looks rather intimidating.." The thought
crossed her mind while she contemplated what to do, simply
rolling her shoulders a bit at it and deciding to go say hello.
There was no real reason not to, his height and stature may have
screamed intimidation, but he looked friendly otherwise. She'd
just have to be wary. Her tail curled at it's tip slightly,
still being dragged on the ground while it's white lengthy fur
had already gotten dirtied and mangled with mud and other bits
of nature, while she traveled over to the lad.
Tipping her head back once she closed a fair amount of the
distance, she had to in order to not be looking at his abdomen,
she granted her lips permission to give that kind and sweet
smile upon pink flesh. "Hello, you're not a usual face I've
seen. Are you new here?" She asked, that serene voice having the
tendency to melt even the coldest of hearts while she spoke so
sweetly to others. That was what made her familiar to the people
of Crystalia. That intoxicating scent of strawberries, that
motherly aura, her kind disposition, and those multicolored orbs
that shifted and changed while remaining so vivid. "I'm Amaya,
it's a pleasure to meet you sir. I do hope you enjoy your time
here!" Rocking back and forth on her feet, she gained a
surprised expression before red coloring flared across her
cheeks, her hand shooting from her pocket as she held it out to
him. Giggling a bit nervously, her ears and tail twitching
slightly in embarrassment, she spoke just as nervously as she
smiled. "Sorry, I'm pretty spaced out right now. I don't mean to
be rude."

The statuesque man; witnessing the world before him through
unimaginably deep seas of tranquil azure, watched a peculiar
event unfold before him. His height granted him a grand view of
the altered realm he stood within: Trees and flowers of
crystalline essence, quality, and even of pure crystal growth,
brought him to believe perhaps he had wandered too close to the
proverbial sun and had been imagining the things he now saw. He
had seen many such oddities, such peculiar variations of life,
but never before with such clarity and connection to them. He
was almost overwhelmed by his own senses when something shocked
him out of his thoughtful stance.
A scent....
A simple smell brought about a wave of nostalgia; a knot forming
within the gargantuan man's stomach, as he turned his gaze from
the glory's of the world to an approaching figure. A very petite
and demure form: Though any not of great height would be thought
petite by the large man, approached him where he stood, and
showed no signs of stopping. The slender creature; nearly half
his height, walked with a peaceful air, and with each brush of
the wind against her hair, the smell of strawberries escaped her
grasp. Her very body danced with the fragrance of the fruit;
seeming to fill every pore of her soft skinned form, and as she
neared, the aroma only grew stronger.
The massive man; formerly well known to most of the realms, did
not shy away from the approaching female, nor did he step
forward to confront her. He stood where he had been; watching
with casual interest through dazzling blue eyes, as she grew
into greater detail and bore down upon his location. With each
step he could feel something growing inside him; some memory,
some thought, something lost without knowledge of it being lost.
With each inch the woman drew nearer, his heart grew louder in
his chest, and his eyes narrowed into a concentrated glare.
When she stopped; her eyes lifted to meet his, the large man
suddenly paid great attention to the smallest of details. Her
eyes met his for but a moment before her lips began to move, but
in that simple instant, everything began to spin for the man.
His consciousness expanded outward and crashed back inwards
almost dangerously fast, as he sought out an answer to a
question he hadnt yet asked. His lips sealed tight against the
words building in his mind, but against his will, while the
woman tried to speak, he blurted out what he had no control
over.
"Do I know you?"
The simple words shook with intensity and curiosity as the man
gracefully lowered himself to one knee and addressed the woman.
He hadnt heard what she had begun saying; nor had he any
interest in trying to remember if anything had even been said
yet, but instead he was completely concentrated on that simple
moment. That one instant where the entire universe meant
nothing, and but one simple response to a question meant
everything.
He didnt know what she would say; whether he did know her or
not, but deep down, somewhere beneath his toughened skin, and
behind his luminous eyes, a great wealth of knowledge was slowly
beginning to breach the dam. Unleashing memories, thoughts, and
emotions into the man's face and form with vivid displays of
happiness and confusion. Something would give; either the man
was right, or he was wrong, but only time would tell... and in
that one infinitely complex and patient moment... time could
wait forever....
