Amaya couldn't help the chuckle that fell through her
lips, eyeing Adel for a moment before she sighed softly and
smiled. "I've always been violent and I always will be."
Pausing, she looked at Adel with a look that some how was
telling him just what she was thinking before she said it. "I'm
getting old, Adel.. Things will have to happen sooner or later,
but that doesn't mean I wont haunt your ass." She said this with
a coy smirk before she used a simple ribbon of her aura to
lightly brush against his cheek. "Because you are after all, my
son.. And I watch over my children and loved ones.. Even as I
died before I did." She said this lightly before she looked to
her daughter and granddaughter. How she birthed someone to be so
small would never cease to amaze her. How Fayt could handle Adel
was even more confusing, yet she just chuckled at the thought
and remembered that Fayt had the genetics of not only herself
but a strong father as well. Moving closer to the three, she
knelt down and planted a loving kiss on Athena and Fayt's head.
"I love you both, but I'm going to go lay down now.. Deme will
be back soon and Athena.." She turned to her granddaughter and
gently fixed her hair with delicate phalanges.
"Be safe when you leave, darling. Grammy will be watching over
you, as will your mother." Straightening up, she looked to Adel
and smiled softly. "You know Deme means well.. And those demons
you're facing.. Well... I'm sure they'll fade away soon
enough.." She gave a wink and wrapped her arms around him in a
light hug before she walked down the hall into the other room to
lay down. Things were getting more difficult for her to control
and she knew soon enough, things would fade away. Yet to see her
daughter well, that was enough to keep her going for a longer
time. Fayt could only smile, resting her hands upon her
daughter's face as she smiled widely. "Oh sweetie.. Momma will
always take care of you.." She could only smile that much more
when she felt her love's lips against her own, hearing the words
of Athena just making her laugh like she hadn't in a very long
time. "We're in a room! My room to be precise!" She stated,
grinning widely as she looked up to Adel. "I love you too
darling."
Slowly getting to her feet, she felt so tiny compared to every
one else. Then again, she had always felt that way. White locks
fell over her shoulders as she felt that slight tearing pain
while wings pushed from flesh to fold against her back. One of
the angel's feathers and one similar to her mother's. Twining
her fingers through her hair to pull it over one shoulder, she
took a deep breath and let it out slowly. "I think it's best if
I lay down for now. Though I've been asleep, I don't think I'd
call that a peaceful one." She said this with a gentle laugh,
smiling while she went back to her bed and sat down upon it.
Those vivid orbs settled on the two loves of her life, sighing
in content. "I'm so happy.. I really couldn't think of a better
way to wake up.. But to see my little girl and my love.. Athena
you've grown to be so beautiful darling.." Holding her hand out,
she looked to Adel. "And my love has got some things he's going
to tell me soon enough.." She had that same keen sense her
mother did, that look to say that she wasn't taking no for an
answer despite anything else.

"Ghosts. . ." Though Amaya had said a lot and possibly did
some things as well, Adel didn't care for anything else but that
word.. 'haunt'.. The man shuddered and lowered his gaze to the
floor beneath him. His eyes widened, though had this deep fear
embedded within them. The rich violet faded into a blood red. He
didn't speak any longer; did Amaya know about his past with
ghosts? The first woman who succumb to his curse had it out for
him. She haunted him after death and killed the next woman he
was with. This. . Being, was the source of this curse, in his
mind anyway. Slowly, he turned his face back up to the woman and
shuddered slightly. Clearing his throat, Adel tried to shake the
thoughts from his mind. "Not a fan of spirits and ghosts.." He
said lowly, though his emotionless tone still stood the test of
time. Resetting himself, Adel took a seat next to Fayt's bed and
awaited for the reunion to be finished. "You rest well, Amaya..
You look as though you need it.."
As Adel spoke more about his demons, Athena stared at him
for a moment before turning to Amaya with a nod. "I love you
too, Grammy. And you better not die. . Or I. . I'll. . I'll kill
you till you die from it!" She threatened and wrapped her
grandmother into a tight hug before returning to her mother once
more. Adel nods as Amaya says her final words before taking her
leave. He didn't really have much to say now, but she knew what
was churning in his head. "I don't care if you are in your room,
get one with me not in it! GODDESS!" Athena fussed and crossed
her arms in a tough pout. Though, she looked into her mother's
eyes while she took hold of her face; smiling somewhat brightly.
"I'll always take care of you too, momma. You're so wonderful..
I I had no idea you're this beautiful.." She said, leaning in
to kiss her mother's wet cheek.
"Come on, Fayt.." Adel spoke, laying back on the bed and
opening his arms so that she could rest with him. Athena nodded
and jumped up to squeeze her mother tightly and planting dozens
of kisses across her face before letting her go. "I'll be
careful. I don't want my mother to bury her daughter. That's not
how it's supposed to go.." Athena quoted and winked to her
mother before moving to her father and kissing his cold cheek.
"I love you too.." She whispered. "Maybe you both could be happy
now. You will see me again soon. I need to find myself out.. I
still got a lot of questions that need answering.." She said,
before blinking out in flash of light; the flush from what her
mother had said never leaving her peach cheeks. Adel took his
love's hand and moved her to the bed with him. "Whatever it is,
could it wait?" He asked, though not knowing if she would agree
to his proposal. They still have time to speak; all the time in
the world.

Fayt could only smiled more and more each second as she
watched her daughter depart. Though that didn't mean she wasn't
paying all too close attention to her love as well. She had
taken note of the way he had reacted to being told her mother
would haunt him. Though she hadn't been around at that time, the
connection she shared with her mother had long ago enlightened
some things. Quirking a brow at her daughter's last words, they
sounded all too familiar. Tilting her head, she blinked a bit
and smiled softly as she turned her orbs up to look at Adel. "Of
course it can wait.. Though I'd rather you tell me sooner than
later.. Consider I worry of you darling." Shifting to her knees
upon the bed, white locks twined to curtain over her face,
shrouding her from everything but him as she looked up at him.
"What happened was not your fault.. I want you to understand
that, love.. I'm a small woman, some complications were bound to
happen.. " Raising her arms, she rested warm palms upon his
cheeks, her thumb brushing over his lips as she smiled
delicately. "Even when the sun rises in the west and sets in the
east, when land becomes water and water becomes dry.. I'll stand
by your side no matter what.. I was never gone, just physically
not active.."
Leaning forward, she nuzzled his neck affectionately as she
draped her arms over his shoulders. "Even in the darkest of
Decembers, you'll always have me to keep you warm.." She
whispered, keeping him as close as humanly possible. Even her
wings had coiled around him, as if to keep him from the world
and only to herself. It had been too long since she had last
hold him, she didn't plan on ever letting go again. Though she
knew she'd have to let her hold on him go eventually, right now,
she didn't want to. She didn't want to ever leave him. "We have
a beautiful, talented, and wonderful daughter.." She said,
smiling even more. "So don't count on getting rid of me so
easily.." She said as she leaned back and planted a loving,
sweet, kiss upon his lips.

Wrapping his arms around her tighter, keeping the love of
his life closer, Adel sighed sharply while listening to her
words. She was so calm and collected, so spiritually at peace
and calming. How could she be like this during such stressful
times? Could she feel it? Could she feel the heavy weight
pressing down on Amaya? Even as the woman left the room, Adel's
violet eyes watched as she walked away; she wasn't herself. She
had this heavy presence about her that Adel could somehow pick
up; like she was shrouded with darkness that was pulling away at
her very essence which was making her weaker and weaker. Sleep
wasn't something Amaya did often, but this. . . Blinking away
his thoughts, Adel pressed his forehead against Fayt's forehead
then nuzzling her hair with his lips and nose. The deep sigh was
released for another reason this time as Adel decided he was to
speak once more. "What is it that you wish to know?" Adel asked
with his deep and unemotional voice. It sounded as if he didn't
care, but in reality, he was very concerned about her needs.
"I need to try and understand this.. But, it's a fear I
have.. A deep rooted fear that never seemed to go away. I spend
some time away to keep you from suffering like everyone else..
I'm so happy that you survived.." Adel spoke in his monotone
voice, though finding silence as his love placed her hands upon
his chilled and pale cheeps, ushering in some color to invade
the flesh. Taking a deep breath, Adel found a stitch of comfort
from the close and tight embrace that the bleach haired maiden
placed him in. He gazed deeply within her eyes, finding himself
within the windows of her soul. "That's a relief. I'd hate for
you to leave my side again. Just as I would hate to leave
yours.." He spoke, his own hands resting upon her pale face as
locks of the same color shrouded his hands. His thumbs caressed
her cheeks and traced over her lips that he loved so much. "As
you keep me warm, you'd have me to keep the darkness away.."
Adel broke a smile, his violet eyes shimmering unlike it has in
years. "She is very spectacular. Much like her mother. I'll
never think about losing either of you two.."

Fayt couldn't help the smile that etched plush pillows.
Her fingers tenderly dancing along his cheeks as she gazed into
violet hues. Leaning forward, she planted a tender kiss upon his
lips before she lightly nuzzled his cheek. "I want to know.. If
you're truly okay." She whispered delicately, leaning back and
lightly running dainty phalanges through his hair as she looked
at him. Though she was well aware of her mother's weakening, she
wouldn't put it to heart right now. Only because she knew that
her mother would probably nag and yell at her for it. It wasn't
hard to tell, not even if she had slept a thousand years would
she overlook her mother's changes. For now though, her concern
was her love. Those vivid pools of mixed hues gently brushed
over his features as that smile never left. "Then let me wash
that fear away, love.." Coiling her arms around is shoulders,
she couldn't help but to giggle at the thought that came to
mind. Looking down at herself for a moment, eyes trailed back up
and she grinned in a silly manner. "I sure am bright enough to
keep the darkness away.. Didn't anyone think to cut my hair?"
She laughed a little bit and kept him held tightly to her.
There was no way in hell she was letting him go, not in this
life, not in any other. "I'm home.." She whispered, smiling
happily. Even her wings showed her happiness as they flittered a
bit and couldn't seem to stop their twitching. Suddenly, she
used her knees and gave a light push to get him to topple
backwards. Her petite form perched above him with her hands on
either side of his head. Those white locks shrouding them from
the world as she looked down at him with that loving gaze. "Now
that I've got you trapped, what shall you do love? Will you
sleep with me tonight? Or will you leave my bed to hide away
from me again?" She paused, lurching forward and lightly
brushing her lips against his own as she spoke in nothing but a
whisper. "Spending time away from me... I don't want that at
all.. I just want you in my arms... When you're in my arms, I
don't feel sick or weak, I don't feel anything but love and
fascination in how fast my heart can beat when you're near me.
So don't you think about spending time away from me."

That sound, what is it? Who is it? I'm so tired.. Don't
wake me up.. Please.. Just let me sleep a little longer. A sound
reverberated off the walls of her mind, mixed orbs shifting
beneath closed lids as she squirmed in her bed. Was it her bed?
A frown creased red plush pillows as she slowly drew herself
onto her arms and sat up. Using the back of her hand, she rubbed
at tired eyes and sighed softly. I've been so tired lately..
What am I to do with myself? "Easy, you let me shoulder some of
the burdens you carry." She stiffened, eyes wide as they stared
at black glossy shoes, slowly traveling upwards to meet a
handsome fellow who had cold yellow eyes to meet. "Don't tell me
you don't remember me. I know we were children, but your memory
has always been the best." Confusion settled on her features as
she frowned deeply. "I don't remember... Then again, I've had a
few run ins with some terrible things. So it's no surprise that
I'm forgetful in my old age." She said softly, swinging short
legs off the side of the bed and looking up at him. Though he
did seem familiar, she wasn't quite sure who he was. Clad in a
black suit, raven locks shifted back, he looked like a butler.
"A.. Butler?" She muttered, looking down as she chewed upon her
lower lip in thought. "That's right m'lady, I was your butler
when you were a child. Long before the war and long before you
met Marrok. You were so troublesome, getting into things and
always having me chase you around." Quirking a brow, she
remembered! That's right, he had always been looking after her.
Shooting up from the bed, she gave a bright smile. "Liem! It's
been so long! I had thought you perished that day under the
rubble! I'm so happy to see you're alright!" Little did she
know, there was much more to Liem than he had ever let on.
Reaching out, Liem took hold of her hand and brought knuckles to
his lips. "It's a pleasure to see you well too, Mistress." Her
face contorted into a state of worry and she looked up at him,
raising her unoccupied hand to lightly brush some of his locks
from his face. "Dearest, you mustn't call me such things. You're
my friend, you always had been. Wait..." It hit her, how had he
known about Marrok? If he hadn't been around since then, how did
he know anything of her? In fact, how did he find her? Pulling
away from him, she gazed up at him with a slight sense of fear
striking her heart.
"Amaya? What's wrong? Aren't you glad I'm here?" He said, that
tone so drenched in sorrow it had to be faked. Looking up at him
with wide eyes, she frowned and stepped back a bit. "How did you
know about Marrok?" SHe asked in a ever so quiet tone. Gold orbs
hardened and he stared down at her with a stern expression.
"It's my duty to know. I've always been watching over you." He
stepped forward and she stumbled back, falling onto the bed and
bouncing the back of her head off the frame. Yelping, she held
her head and grumbled beneath her breath. Liem frowned and
leaned forward, lightly grabbing her and sitting her up, though
he kept a vice grip on her shoulders that made her squirm. "Liem
stop, you're hurting me!" She shouted, thrashing around though
he just held her down harder. "Don't play coy with me, Amaya.
You know the true reason I'm here." She froze, eyes wide as she
stared up at him. "L-Liem we were children. You can't take that
seriously!" Amaya thrashed around more and he suddenly picked
her up, throwing her towards the wall. Though she finally
remembered who she was and growled deeply, catching herself and
glaring at him.
"You said at the end of your life, we'd be together again. We'd
be friends. We'd never have to be alone anymore. Well while
you've been with your family and friends, I've been in the
shadows ALONE." He snarled out, fists clenched as he stared at
her. Though she straightened up and frowned, holding her hand
out to him. "Liem.. We were children. I thought you had died.
You should have come back to me sooner, you shouldn't have
stayed in the shadows. You didn't have to." Though as she said
this, he only became more and more enraged. The one mistake she
made was coming back to haunt her, and she wasn't as powerful as
she use to be. Old age had long torn her down and now she was
merely withering. He knew that as well. Yet in his old age, he
was not the same as her, for he wasn't even of the same species.
All it took was a few seconds and he was right in her face once
more, though his look had softened a bit. "You will die today,
Amaya. I am not your enemy nor am I trying to take you for
myself in the end. I am just someone who has to do his job as
well as someone who is very pissed off that you didn't keep your
promise. Yet I will forgive you for that, but you will die
today. It's just how things work."
There was a silence that lingered heavily on her heart before
she heard the deep and savage roar part Cherrie's maw before she
pounced onto Liem and took him to the floor. Heaving deep
breaths, Amaya looked down at him with a saddened expression. "I
can't die. I have too many responsibilities. I have people that
need me, Liem." She whispered lightly before she turned to leave
the room. Yet she then felt a pull on her hair and a jerking
motion that sent her falling backwards into a set of sturdy
arms. Cherrie now laying upon the ground asleep as though she
had been laid there gently. "Amaya. It's your time to be at
peace. You've suffered long and hard and you've done all you
need to do. You've made changes in this world and you've made
changes in people's hearts, now it's time to rest. " She frowned
and squirmed even more than before. "I can't! What about my
children!?What about my love?! I can't leave Dems! What about
Serenity, Athena, Maru, Fayt, everyone!? What of all them?! I
can't leave them!" She yelled, tears pooling in her eyes as she
thrashed around and tried to get out of his grip. This was her
end, her reaper her old friend that she thought dead. She knew
it was coming, but even as she had prepared, she still wasn't
going down without a struggle.
Soon enough though, that struggle came to an end when she felt
that icy cold blade strike into her back and carve it's way up
the back of her neck. Eyes dimmed in color, life fleeting from
them as she stared up at Liem with those watery orbs. Blood
pooling and leaking from her mouth as she coughed it up and
tried to breath. Why hadn't she fought back? Because, she knew
it was her time and she didn't have any quarrel with Gaia. Gaia
was her best friend, but she knew she had to die some time or
another. Blood the purest of pearlesque and shimmering golds and
blues fell to the floor and she raised bloodied fingertips to
the face of her muderer, a smile resting on stained and cracked
lips. "Do me.. a fa--" Her voice cut out and she stiffened up,
the beating that steadied her organs stopped and her hand
slipped from Liem's face, leaving streaks of gold and blues
before it met with the air limply. Though she'd never know it,
Liem hated what he had to do. It was something he had dreaded
all of his years. Something that he had never wanted to do in
the first place. Yet it was something that he had to do, it was
his only job and his only place, the only thing that honestly
kept him by her.
Slowly, he hoisted her lifeless body up and laid her onto her
bed, folding her arms over her waist and moving strands of locks
from her face. "I truly am sorry dearest humming bird." He
whispered, moving gloved fingertips along her eyes to close them
before he suddenly vanished. It was time for him to go perish on
his own, he had no more time left in this existence and he knew
that himself. Yet he couldn't help but to frown at the sight of
the tears that still left Amaya's eyes as she laid there
unmoving and lifeless. How could a dead woman cry... Simple, she
was Amaya.

Re: Cyrstalia
By: Dems Darkfire Date: June 27, 2012, 4:42 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The powerful thrust the man had made into the realm left a
burning streak in the brightened sky, his body already rocketed
into the room he needed, the very place where she was, where she
had been the entire time. He stood, not moving a singular inch,
inside of the darkened corner of the room, starting to the
woman... no... the body that once housed the other half of his
soul. She lay there, the dust that danced in the windows
sunlight settling on the corpse of his beloved. What was this?
What was this thing he was looking at lying there like a limp
noodle. He wanted to scream, he wanted to up-root the bed and
cast the woman onto the floor so she would awaken and stop this
act, but his body refused to move from where it had seeded
itself. Limp arms could not even lift to strike away the tears,
the feeling foreign to the warrior as the slow wet streaks
coated his cheeks. Dems had never shed such tears before and the
fact that he was now pouring them down his face caused a boiling
rage to simmer in his stomach, spreading from the pit of his
soul to the rest of his body and soon enough his limbs where on
fire internally, protesting his lack of movements.
That first moment, that first step was the hardest, control had
already begun to fade from the man, the thread in his mind that
once held together his last sense of sanity slowly being pulled
away by this sudden act, his energy slipped from his skin and as
his foot touched down onto the floor, the boards creaked with
the greatest of protests. The entire room seemed to shift in
that moment as if a great weight had been pushed forward on the
supports of the building. Distorted truths haunted the man's
head, thinking of what being would do this, what person would
attack his wife and ki... no... no no no no... He couldn't admit
it to himself, he couldn't let the actual truth in. If he said
it, if he believed it, then it would be true. She wasn't that,
no... she was alive, just as alive as he, her body had been
injured, that was all.
He knew he was only lying to himself, his soul commanded that he
was lying to himself. The phoenix inside of him even protesting
his delusional thoughts. But the pain it felt emanating from
it's host revealed a lack of pity within the beast, deciding to
let the man forge his own idea about that which had happened
here. The golden bird remained in silence, allowing the
weakening man to, hopefully, gain a grasp on the grave reality
of the situation. Dems' bride to be had perished and that was
the truth of it all.
The second step was the hardest, Dems still unable to force
himself into what he wanted, his mind perplexed with the sight
before him, with the fake that lays where his love should be,
tears still streaming from his eyes as the blurred vision only
allowed him to slip deeper into his false illusion. Once he had
placed his other foot in front of the other, he could feel the
spell over his body, that strange paralysis, begin to weaken,
shaking hands raising to each side of him as he reached out to
touch the thing that lay there, the corpse of another, not his
true love, not the woman he had wanted to marry, no, someone
else. The swirling particles that once rested in the rays of
sunlight now wrapped up around Dems, no longer polluting the
flawless skin of the cadaver that rested on the bed. The swirls
of air now encircling the man whisking away each and every spec,
wrapping around him in rings as the flood of energy began to
seep from the flesh of the man once more.
Seconds, minutes, days, eons? How long did it take to move three
feet? It was suddenly that time sped up for Dems, his next foot
step crushing the floor beneath him as he sprinted the final few
steps and lunged upon the woman lying there, His arms grasping
at her shoulders as his own form slumped into the plush blankets
and mattress. He pulled her back, screaming at the top of his
lungs, no words, only the powerful cries of a man that would rip
into the darkest soul and bring terror and sting the hearts of
all who could hear him. The sound blasted out of the window and
filled the outside would with fear as the sheer volume was
uncontrolled. He shook her, he slammed her, he pulled her all
around, screaming and screaming again before his arms themselves
gave out and his soaked face landed upon her shoulder, his face
buried upon the front of her.
It was in that second he knew it was her, he could no longer
deny the truth to himself, she was gone from him. "Why..." He
whispered at first before he brought himself up even with her,
his forehead against hers as water rained down onto Amaya's
cheeks. His hands clamped tightly on her clammy skin, his lips
brushing hers again and again as he tried to breath a essence of
life back into the woman herself. "Why... why... why... why...
why... why. why... WHY!!!" He steadily raised his voice, the
heated calls and questions rising from his chest as he pushed
himself up away from her, gripping her collar as he pulled her
face into his, screaming two inches from her like they did when
they fought. "WHY DID YOU HAVE TO DIE, YOU BITCH!, YOU FUCKING
CUNT! WAKE UP!" He threw her down, leaning in once more and
screaming again "WAKE UP, YOU.." He gritted his teeth, fighting
back the sobs as he instantly continued... "FUCKING WRETCH SO I
CAN KILL YOU MYSELF! GET UP! AMAYA?! GET THE FUCK UP!" He lifted
and slammed her once again, falling with the sudden slam as he
wept on her chest, unable to comprehend himself. "Why the fuck
did you leave me... just like everyone else... You fucking
cunt... You left me..."
His world had stopped in that second. Admittance, acceptance.
What was he without her? Half a true soul, half a person. The
idea of ever being whole again was struck from his lifetime the
moment her heart stopped beating, the second her bodily function
ceased, it was over for him. The beast within could do nothing,
he could do nothing. She had left to this place, had left the
lands of the phoenix to visit family, he did not go with her,
and this is what the result was...
He removed himself from the body, setting himself on the edge of
the bed as his head ducked beneath his knees, his hands folding
on the back of his head once more as he closed his eyes. The
tears fell openly, crashing the ground with enough force to
seemed to dent the wood and warp it inward on itself. He sobbed
as he sat there, every fiber of his person quivering, shaking
with the fact that there was nothing he could do. "What is this
life without you... You left... someone took you, but you
left..."
Dems had not failed to notice the obvious signs of a murder, but
he couldn't bring himself to face the facts and to not blame
her, or his own arrogance and lack of action. Maybe he would
wait here for them. By now someone here had to of felt his
presence, noticed the searing in the sky, heard the screaming
itself. He could seek out the same fate his lover had obtained,
or maybe he would get a good glimpse at the ones he needed to
destroy in order to avenge his beloved. Dems turned on his ass
for a moment, looking once more to the still warm corpse of the
true love of his life, the other half to his soul, and folded
her arms over her waist once more, placing one hand atop the
other on her stomach as he leaned in and planted a soft kiss on
her chilling lips one last time. "They will all pay... every.
single. thing. They will all pay... I promise you..." The thread
had snapped, the once composed man suddenly felt the forgotten
lust for blood and death. No promise would resound stronger in
his mind than that one, Nothing would survive his wrath but to
tell others it was coming. The entire universe would burn....
For now he waited for what could be his first victims, sitting
on the edge of the bed, the corpse of his Precious Amaya lying
behind him... "Come to your judgement..." was the last thing he
whispered...

"No, I'm not.." Adel answered the question of his love with
devoted eyes and honesty. He haven't felt 'ok' in years, he
hasn't been himself since he could remember. All he could think
about, dream about, feel, was the pain his presence has caused
others in his life. Nightmares stalking him like a brooding dark
cloud that would never allow him sunlight."You're right
though.." Adel suddenly was thrust back into reality after
loosing himself in deep contemplation for several moments; the
void that was Fayt's eyes. Beautiful and perfect they were. No
matter how long she had slept, he always seemed to feel her
standing by him. His thumbs stroked her neck and jaw line before
placing a light kiss upon her lips and nose once more. Then to
her neck; Adel was finally feeling that comfort that only her
radiance could provide. Heh.. Funny. A being composed of light
couldn't shoo away his own darkness. "The evil within me seems
to be held at bay when you're around." The eldest son of Omega
told her, relishing being in the firm grip of the newly awoken
mother of his child. "We all know how important your hair is to
you. We didn't want to risk you slaughtering everyone because of
that.." He grinned while slowly inhaling her scent.
It's been a long time since Adel had fed from this woman; he may
not have been full vampire and needed to sustain himself with
blood every five minutes, but he was losing himself if he didn't
have a drink of his beloved. Her blood seemed to be a source of
calming for the man. "Don't worry, my love. I'll never be out of
your reach again. Your bed is my bed, just as mine is your own.
My ship, the Black Noah, is also yours as well.." Adel informed
her. He didn't know if she knew of his airship or not, or his
father's black panther that was handed down to him a Rose. Seems
that feline companions ran in the family. "My time away from you
seemed like centuries, but time stops once I'm with you for mere
moments.. I lo--" Adel's words were cut off by this aching
feeling deep in his gut. He doubled over and tears, as bright as
uncut diamonds spilled from his violet eyes. He could feel this
guttural pain and soon it was followed by this yelling. Adel's
eyes snapped from Fayt as he looked into the direction that it
had came from. Slowly, the man eased out of Fayt's grip, only to
place his finger to her lips while listening one more to the
commotion in the other room.
"Someone's here.." He sniffed the air and could nearly taste the
freshly spilled blood. His eyes widened as he fell into the
reality of what just happened. "AMAYA!" Adel screamed out and in
a blur, Adel sped from Fayt's room and entered Amaya's. There,
he could see a sight he thought he'd never see: Amaya in a pool
of her own blood with the man that was close friends with his
father's holding her against him. His own body blanketed in her
own blood. Something snapped inside of Adel at this moment. All
of the sanity that he held on to seemed to fade away instantly.
His once violet eyes changed into a golden color; the equivalent
of red on others for Nagase. He began to growl and scowl, his
words becoming almost incomprehensible. His once emotionless
demeanor changed into that of pour rage and darkness as his hair
began to slowly grow and streak red. "Y---You.. Mur--derer..
Ggrrrooowwlll..." Adel pointed, his sanity now almost at it's
end. He had a bad feeling about this for the longest of times
and it happened right under his fucking nose. This man was
ancient, even older than his father, but he wouldn't allow this
to stand. One of them wasn't going to leave here alive this
night. "DIIIE!" He bellowed loudly; crazed..

In times of happiness, there was always times for
misery. The sudden death of her mother accompanied by the
twisting hell brought by Dems, she found herself in a state of
shock. She hadn't even noticed Adel leaving her as her arms had
simply fallen to her sides and she stared out at nothing. The
guttural cries began to seep into her mind as sanity broke
entirely. Her mother was gone. There was nothing she could do
about it. She knew that, she knew who took her away, and she
knew why. That alone was a burden she had carried alone for
years. Yet even still, the pain that struck her chest was
something she had tried to prepare for but had never gotten it
down. "Stop it.." Those words nothing above a whisper as she
repeated them time and time again, her hands raising to clutch
her head before she screamed. "Stop it goddamnit!" This was the
first time anyone would ever see her outburst. The first time
that anyone would see her break. Doubling over, she held her
head as she started to sob, her heart breaking more and more
with each passing second. That was, until the last string
snapped entirely. Her body stopped shaking and she suddenly
stopped moving.
Eyes wide as she stared at the sheets beneath her. Wings
suddenly seeming to shatter only to reveal the change in their
colors. Once a white angelic wing now darkened to a coal black
as the familiar white dragon wing had shifted into a midnight
blue, sheathed in a cold electric blue and red ice. Wind began
to pour into the home, thrashing everything around but leaving
her mother's shaken corpse untouched. Slowly, as if drawn by
strings, her body leaned up to reveal the stoic expression even
as tears still fell. Once pearlesque orbs now a blazing sapphire
as were her lashes, illuminated by a glow that seemed all too
deep in it's malicious intentions. The whites of her eyes bled
black as she pulled herself from her bed and slowly walked into
the room. Without hesitation, she stopped in front of Dems, the
man she had at first refused to call a father. Her expression
never wavering as she spoke in a tone that was not her own, the
dual expanded voice seeming enraged but calm. "Adel.. It wasn't
him." Standing taller, she looked to her mother and went over to
the now cold corpse, moving her hair and lightly straightening
her up.
"It was him." She said, without even looking as now ashen flesh
fingers pointed towards the darkened corner of the room. "But it
wasn't only them, but my great grand parents as well." She
muttered this, her composure all too calm before she saw Liem
step from the shadows. The festering wounds on the side of his
face given by Cherrie's acidic claws as he stared at Fayt.
"You're quite right.. How did you know? You are the daughter of
Amaya, and even she did not remember me." He said lightly,
curiously. Though the woman simply straightened up after placing
a kiss on her mother's cheek, turning to him with that
expressionless face. "I know this because my mother did remember
you up until a few decades ago. She explained to me what would
happen when she became weaker and more tired along the days.
That it would be near her time to die. That you would come
yourself as her personal butler and reaper. That you were raised
from birth to serve my mother and that though she thought you
dead, she had a feeling even your soul would come back to finish
your job. As it was stated by my great grandparents to do so."
Liem sighed and nodded a bit, giving a small smile. "I had
honestly wished it to be different.. With her thinking I died
that day, she lived life easier.. Her grand parents... Yes, they
did raise and keep me around to be her personal reaper.. As my
son will be Deme's and your's when it is that time. We are
simply the ghosts that help and serve the Crystalian royalties..
The ones that ascend to the very depths or heavens for our jobs.
Though we get attached and sometimes hesitate, as I did with
Amaya. I had not wanted to, but I did so, because it was my duty
and I must stick to it, else her death would have been far worse
by the hands of the council." Wings curled and Fayt simply
stared at him for a moment before she nodded and turned to Adel.
"It's time to go. We have business to cover with my
grandparents." Pausing, she looked to Dems. "Dems.. No.. Dad..
Come along. It's time we pay a visit to the ones who have given
a time to a woman who was not yet ready to go." Liem said
nothing, stepping back for a moment before Fayt suddenly
appeared before him.
Shrouding him in the chill of her closeness, Fayt's locks
curtained her face as she looked up at him. "Thank you. For
making it quick. You knew her weak spot, the one in her back,
but do not think that you will evade death so easily. For even
Deme will not head kindly to this action you've taken. Even if
he knows it was because it had to be done. The council and my
grandparents will surely be welcoming of our visit.. So do not
run off to tell them anything." She said, though her expression
was blank, her words were filled with a venomous bite. "If you
do.. I would like to very much see their heads. I do not
appreciate what I have had to do. After seeing their heads roll,
you may do with me what you like." Liem kept that soft yet cold
gaze on the much smaller woman. Though she simply nodded and
stepped aside him, moving to the wall where she raised dainty
phalanges to it and pressed against it. The runes that scattered
and inked her flesh in a deep gold stung slightly before she
broke free of their hold and ripped a hole into the wall.
Instead of seeing the outside, one would see darkness attempting
to eat at one single beam of light. That is where she was
planning to go.

---------------------------------------------------------
The door did not have to burst for Dems to know someone would
come, the screams of the man alone would have drawn the
attention of anyone within a mile and the sudden increase in
energy in the air would trigger the alarm of anyone with the
smallest sense of energetic pressure within the atmosphere. What
he saw come through the door was not one he was expecting... The
man, more boy than man, that came through that threshold and
witnessed Dems sitting position was A Nagase. That certain
strain of energy was one he had not felt inside of his bones for
the longest time. Taking in a deep breath he spoke only to
himself, a hushed whisper. "Nagase... calling the kettle
black..." The smile only grew on his face as the dust caught in
the stream around his body spun rapidly, sharpening into a solid
strand as he never once looked up. Dems face was shrouded in
darkness as he stood, only that widening grin, his teeth
flashing white against a pure black backdrop, Golden eyes
shining brighter than the sun itself as he pushed himself up
from the bed. "Die...?" Dems looked over his shoulder, his heart
snapping like a twig once more at the sight of her peaceful
corpse. "I'm already dead... and you will join me..." In those
fatal seconds Dems drew his hand back, closing his fist tightly,
the strands of intense power that clung to the air gathering
around his appendage, all would not end well as he released his
fist forward...
The sudden wind did not phase the great man, his arm still
ripping forward through the sudden tornado which had torn
through the inside of the house, but as one of Amaya's own
children stepped in front of his tunneled vision, his view once
more widened and he turned his fist at the last second. He would
not harm anything which held the light of his lost love, he
couldn't bring himself to kill something that still held the
light of Amaya or bore her blood directly. The fist snapped open
at the end of the swing, now aimed for the wall which contained
the window he had entered from, his body screaming out in pain
as the burst of energy send another shock wave of gale force
winds through the room and out of the door itself. The push of
the fist ripped the wall from its place, the sudden flash of
gold only evident for a second before the attack dissipated,
leaving a room sized window in the place where they stood now.
"It wasn't him..." She said, so matter of factually it made him
sick to his stomach, the creature falling to a single knee as he
watched her touch the corpse, the man frozen in anger at the
thought. he didn't want anyone else to lay their hands upon her.
Dems ears almost denied the sudden existence of a hidden energy,
now slowly increasing, but then the girl spoke the most crystal
clear words he had heard in all his life. "It was him..."
Paused, time was paused in that single second the face of that
bastard appeared from the darkened area of the room, his
features instantly locked in upon by the Golden Bird itself.
Dems flesh heated, the wet sweat that had accumulated upon his
flesh flash steaming at the extreme release of the Birds very
own emotion. "Kill him... Kill him... KILL him... KILL HIM!!"
The Phoenix screamed inside of his head, commanded him, and the
power that Dems felt in that second was the most sensational he
had ever felt before. With the man and Bird in unison in a
singular purpose, there was no stop to stem the tide that was
inside of Dems heart.
They talked, they held a conversation while Dems own mind only
cracked further, the canyon between sanity and insanity only
deepening, dragging Dems down further into the depth of his old
being. With Fayt's words, he stood, his chest heaving as he
watched the girl. "Kill them all... Kill everyone who did
this..." The beast screamed harder, it was gaining control, the
flush of emotion evident as the extreme rage and emotion that
almost lead to the destruction of one man stemmed its own flow.
"After seeing their heads roll, you may do with me what you
like." He didn't look up, his body flashed in front of this man
as his hand instantly rested on his throat, driving the killer
into the wall as his fist now became a bright red, the flames
that stemmed from his fingers burning gold. His fist clenched,
his teeth once more glinting as the killer in himself dove out
to the surface. A bloodthirsty Dems rising from the depth of his
ashes. "No... You don't get to live now..."
His head turned to Fayt, to the portal she had opened, the fact
she had actually called him dad only ringing softly in his ears
as he shook violently, his fist raising into the ready position
turning his face back to the bastard himself. His fist flung
forward, aiming straight for the chest of the cocksucker... If
the punch connected he would burn the man from the inside out,
determined to make the bastards last moments the longest of his
life.
