This woman dared to even attempt to council him after all of
this, to say his name again after he had told her not to. If it
were possible he might have been dumb founded but instead no she
just sealed a warrant of doom for herself and her little bastard
of a new student. Kota didnt care anymore he was done dealing
with the bull shit. He had come here with mixed thoughts about
everything but he had made his mind certain at this point. "
authority?" he could laugh at the thought however he didn't. "
you can place your authority in your devils hole and try ruling
the next fool with it." it was a cold tone that held not even
anger just a spitting vacant sound. He began to step out of the
class room. " Oh and Lady Braylin why don't you do myself and
all your lovely children who haven't been tainted a favor and
find yourself a nice hole to kill yourself in. The world has
enough lust in it and I'm sure most of them are a bit more
creative than being a teacher. in disguise." he smirked slightly
at that point as he tore the note she had given him the small
fragments wizzed past him and then in her Desk a scribble that
only said Kota The door swung shut and she was along Kota was
wandering through the halls. there was nothing really to care
about in this place anymore and soon he would move on. It was a
fools path to try and return here.

Deep inside she was heart broken. She wanted to be with him, to
help him, but he wouldn't let her. Braylin was hiding the fact
she didn't want him to go, or that she actually cared about him.
She was niw faceing the window, cleaning it up after it had been
fixed. Her back was to Kota as he spoke. She closed her eyes as
she felt tears sting her tear ducts and the burning sensation
started in her throat. His words cut deeper then anyone would
have ever known. She looked down as the droplets began to fall.
Luckily, Kota had exited the room already. She walked to her
chair and slumped into it, sobbing quietly now. Her hands
covered her face as she sat there sniffling. She felt like doing
just that, crawling in a hole and dieing. She knew just the
person who could help her with that plan as well, Yuri Tarasov.

After several moments of sobbing Braylin took a deep breath,
letting it out slowly. She should have not come to work today.
It was a disaster. She had left a new friend at home, met up
with old "friend", at school, and felt like dying. She really
needed to get out, have fun just as friends or something. She
quickly stood up wiping her face and straightened out her outfit
and sighed softly. "Maybe I'll just walk the city..." she
whispered to herself and called to the front office. " Yez, this
is Braylin Marie. I don't feel to well, I need a sub for the
rest of the day." with that she grabbed her bag and exited the
school.
The city of Jarliest was quite a sight. The grass and trees
remained a vibrant green through the summer and spring, the sun
was bright, and the breeze was light. The city was quite busy
and most people were nice, everyone new everyone. Especially
Braylin. Most of the citizens knew Bray for her night job, a
prostitute. Others knew her for her day job, the school teacher,
though Braylin didn't know them as much. She quietly walked down
the sidewalk headed from Hanaburry high towards the small coffee
shoppe on 4th Street, named Hazel Lane. Her head was not up this
time, she faced the ground watching her feet as she walked, not
paying attention to what was ahead of her.

James awoke, not as a solid being, but as a part of the stream
behind the school. He could feel his substance filling the small
stone basin behind the school, and the first rays of morning
sunlight as it warmed him. It was time to leave the basin, and
fulfill his new role, before the students made it to the back of
the school and he became trapped there. So, at first he sloshed
around in his new container, rousing as a normal man would from
a bed, and then in that mere moment, he appeared.
Handsome was one of the words you could call him, but with the
cocky smile, harsh features, and very... liberal amount of hair
that he kept in a kind of odd mohawk on top his head, he was so
much different than that. He was mature, and yet youthful in a
way a lot of the students in the high school were not. Fresh,
deep under those murky blue eyes he used to scan his
surroundings. Noone, yet, but he was lucky, and with his first
day teaching fast on the approach he casually walked into the
halls of the school through the crack in the locked service
entrance near the boiler.

She continued to walk, step by step thinking. How did she get in
this situation? She had no idea. Sighing she finally looked up
and then into her bag. She was looking for her cell phone and
could not find it. She growled to herself" I must have forgotten
it! Dammit!" she stopped mid walk towards Hazel Lane and walked
behind the nearest building. She looked around and made sure no
one was watching before she thrusted her hands outward, forming
a colorful portal. Quickly she ran into it, the other end coming
out behind the school.
She knew if anyone saw her, she would have to stay or possibly
lose the job so she quickly thought. Finally she figured it out,
her substitute wasn't in her room yet, she could see that from
the window. She knew what she had to do. Braylin quietly snuck
up to her room window and froze it. " come n.." she whispered as
she tapped it lightly, causing the glass to break. " ah ha!" she
smiled and floated up some to wheremshe could step in. " there
you are" she said and quickly braved her cell phone from her
desk. She looked around to make sure o one was around, as she
pieced her glass back together and made it look as if it handy
been broken.
After the glass was fixed, Braylin walked back to the window and
looked out to make sure no one would see her when she jumped
out.

Unbothered by such things, James coolly made his way to the room
he was going to be using that day. It was a spare thing, without
much life or purpose, and as he looked at the identical desks
and plain, blank chalkboard he became more than a little
saddened by it's state. He sighed deeply into his blue tinted
lips, and thought of the irony of his very ability to breathe.
He was made of water, drowning in it, and yet he could still
breathe like a human.
It was there he waited, patient as the water behind a dam ready
to break, for his new pupils. Most who came immediately took a
second look at his awkward appearance before they sat, and
talked amongst themselves. Little do they know, he thought of
his own private joke, I could look like any of them, in an
instant.

After sneaking back out of her classroom, Braylin looked around.
That was when she saw him through another window. He was
different looking, but so was everyone. His hair intrigued her.
His blue lips, and the way his skin looked all drew her
attention to him. She could tell water made up a large part of
him, if not all of him. She watched him staring forward, he must
have had a class at the moment. She had not sen him around at
all, he must be knew. She wanted to talk to him soon, just to
figure out who and what he is.
Sadly though, she needed to get off school property so she
frosted over the window and wrote telepathically " Hazel Lane,
when you are free <3" She smirked softly hearing the children in
the class room laugh and " oohh," at him. She hoped it didn't
embarrass him any, but if it did, she would make it up to him
somehow. After writing she quickly made her way back towards the
coffee shoppe.

James smirked. His look had the desired effect, and by the time
he started the lecture, it was obvious everyone wanted to see
what he had to say. All those pairs of eyes were on him, some in
horror, some in awe, and even some in casual humor.
"So," he said suddenly, "We are all here, but for what purpose?"
"Well duh," one teenager, seemingly cut out of the same mold as
his new teacher, cut in, "We are here to sit on our asses and
wait for the bell."
Everyone laughed, even James, who could not help but appreciate
the youth's nerve. His face lit up with all the snide comments
that followed, and all seemed to go well until he raised his
hand and the class grew quiet. He surveyed them, all with smirks
still on their faces, and thought of it.
"Okay, let me change the question a bit," He teased, "So there
is no confusion. How are we here? What makes life possible?"
Out of the few answers that followed, some of them were
absolutely absurd or sarcastic. They included coffee, the alarm
clock, god, the devil, sex. James started to become disappointed
in his own teaching position within a few minutes until someone
finally replied to him with something meaningful.
"The sun," one kid joked, and James took this as an opportunity.
"My, my, sarcasm does pay off sometimes," he said to the very
punk young man that tried to disturb his class, a slightly
sadistic grin to his face, "That is actually exactly what I was
looking for. It is not just to wake you up, you know."
From there, his first lecture began, and as he spoke, he took
note of the small, frosted note on the window just as he was
about to gesture out to the orb that glowed high in the sky.
Instead of pointing, he slighted away the frost with a simple
wave of his hand and had the entire class look outside and
describe what they saw.
This job was just getting more and more interesting.

With each step she took, she continued to think about the man in
the classroom. She went over the way he looked and the way he
seemed to hold himself. She glanced to her phone and noticed
that there were two more hours left in the school day. She
smiled to herself to try and keep her mood but, considering it
had plummeted earlier. She finally made it to the front door of
Hazel Lane and opened it with a sigh of relief. "
geez...today..." was all she whispered softly to herself.
Once inside Braylin grabbed her usual spot, the conner in the
back, by the window.. She loved sitting here and she use to sit
here all night and just think when she was younger, and
continued as she got older. She glanced out of the window for a
few moments and then walked up to the counter. " Well good
evening Miss Braylin." said Harry, the owner. " The usual?" he
asked as he turned, already knowing the answer to his question,
" yes please, and thank you Harry" Bray replied, keeping a fake
smile upon her lips. As the elder man began to make her Large
Mocha Frapp with a small amount of whip cream, he asked, " why
are you here so early, I thought school was in session today."
Braylin smiled and replied softly. " yea, but I decided to take
a few days for vacation." the man nodded " yeah, I understand
that." As he finished he turned around and handed her her
drink." on the house, for my favorite customer." her spoke as
Bray started to pull out cash.
"oh Harry, you are to kind, thank you" she turned and walked
back to her seat to wait for the mysterious man from earlier.

James was out the door before his students were as the final
bell rang, a smile playing on his face at their shock. He was
fast, and was able to weave through the crowd as if they were no
resistance at all, even through the packed group that met near
the doors to the school. He was every bit as excited to be out
in the sunshine as they were, and knowing that he had someone
waiting for him only hastened his retreat.
It did not take long for James to weave through the city
streets, though it did seem to draw a fair amount of attention.
Not that he cared, for with every graceful footfall he could
only wonder what was waiting for him there in that little dive.
It was a quaint place, he surmised, with its old school vibe,
and though it smelled excellent, James never was much of one for
a coffee. Caffiene, after all, was one of the things that was
hard to get out of your system.
So when he stepped in that door within minutes of the final
bell, as refreshed as if he had only just strolled over, he was
not sure if he would be well met or if the mystery date would
just disappear into the shadows.
