Laughing at her words of Landon he closed his eyes and with a
slight sigh he let his wings vanish once more into the spectrum
of colours he could control, and with that he let himself fall
to the roof of a building. "Why did he send me to find her..."
He spoke as he fell before landing almost gracefully on the roof
of a building beside the guards. "He said she would be my new
family..." He looked up and smiled again, although he didn't
like the idea he had to leave his mother and mentor he was happy
to have a whole family where maybe he could have a father...
Have friends... Play games... And as Hyouzan said... Maybe even
find one he could 'love' though what love meant was a mystery to
him.
"Do you know where I can find then woman?" He looked up once
more at the woman before turning to the guards and looking like
a lost puppy. "I really need to find her so I can have a
family..." He chewed softly on a stick of gum as the colour that
flooded his eye's slowly dulled down to a casual stream.

She was laying out side, allowing the cool breeze to wash over
her body. Hr white winger were spread out and they fluttered
slightly with the air movement. Hr face was void of any emotion
as of the moment. She was in deep thought. She played memories
over in her mind, memories of the past. She look as if she was
dead, her eyes open, her chest rising and falling so slowly and
innoticable that it looked as if she wasn't even breathing. She
remained still, unmoving other then to breath, swallow or the
occasional blink.

" Come on mommy!!! Play with me!!!" Ezekiel called up, looking
at her with his bright blue eyes. " I can't baby, mommys got to
work...Here Leon will play with you." Julianna replied and
motioned for the nearest and biggest Amazon guard to come over.
She whispered to Leon, telling him to protect her son with his
life, and to recruit others to help protect him. " Leon, I want
you tom play with my son, play whatever he wants to play, and
enjoy it." she ordered and the guard nodding as he kneeled. "
Yes Lady Julianna." with that Julianna turned and walked towards
the training grounds. She had the order and opportunity to train
her great niece, Hope.

Julianna stood tall and strong infront of the little being
infront of her. Her brown eyes gazed down at the tin creaure,
that happen to be her very own and newest, great great niece.
The young angelus' name was Hope. She was the daughter of her
niece's daughter, Tsubaki and her husband Cou Zahn. She knew the
little one was of age now to begin training and she had been
assigned to be just the person. She figured Rianna, her younger
sister would have been assigned to this, but it turned out she
was busy. This left Julianna. She did not really mind doing
it,she just wanted to do other things, like spend time with her
own child. Her long dark brown, almost black, hair swished
around herhead and neck as she slowly bent down to the young
one. Hope juststared up at her, confused and intimadated
slightly. " Stand up striaght child." Julianna let slip through
her lips. It was soft, but had a convincing and demanding edge
to it. Hope's eyes narrowed and she did as she was told. She
remembered Julianna from earlier telling her not to smile. This
training was harsh, and nothing to laugh at. Hope's mind
wondered slighlty to where her mother and father were, her
grandma and grandpa even to where her adopted sibilings were.
Julianna let her dark orbs scan over the young girl and she let
the corner of her lips turn up into a small smile. She could
tell the child had been conditioned well. Her wings were not
horrible looking and her postier was beter then most young
cadets that started out here. " Alright Hope, this training will
be hard, horrible, terrifying, but you have to complete it. I
have no doubt you will. You were born to be great, and I will
make it my duty to get you to where you can be great." Her voice
was monotoned throughout this small intro.
" Yes ma'am" Hope replied excited and frightened
to what was to come. She had read several rumors about her great
aunt, Julianna, swell as rumors about the training she was about
to encounter. Hope continued to stand there, her back and neck
straight, just like her aunt wanted it. It was different, but
she knew she would have to get use to not slumping around
carelessly. She had a duty to fulfill. Without warning Hope felt
a hard, sting, to the side of her face. Wincing she grabbed at
her reddened cheek. " what was that for?!?!" she yelped. Quickly
Julianna swung again, only putting a tiny amount of her strength
into it. Hope stumbled and fell backwards. " Always keep your
guard up! Never get distracted! And never show pain!!!!" she was
yelling now. Hope gasped and struggled to get up. She quickly to
a defensive stance and watched Julianna. Thus made Jules smirk
inapproval. She too kept her eyes on watch, but on Hope.
Suddenly, Julianna's left arm came flying around and connected
with Hope's side. Hope growled in lain, but instead of flinching
and whining, she pushed through it and shoved her elbow into
Julie's stomach. Jules didn't even flinch from this. It was weak
to her and made no pain, but it was stronger the most young
angelus'. " Now, you come at me." Julianna depended as she
stepped several yards back, watching Hope. She figure, like most
cadets, she would go for her face or her back. That was a no no.
Instead though, Hope took two flash steps forward and dropped
down, swinging her right leg out to try and knock Jules off
balance. This would have worked, if Julianna had not read her
great niece's mind. Jules simply jumped up out of the way of the
swinging leg. " Keep your mind closed. People might see what
you're going to do, then how will you ever win?" Julianna
laughed a stuffy laugh and brushed her kegs off.

This training continued for several months on end, though it
only got harder. Hope and Julianna both shed blood and sweat
over these days and hope shed tears. It was hard, deadly.
Actually part of the amazon training was death training, this
was where they were at now. Snow was falling steadily as the two
stood at the amazon training camp in west epica. Julie's eyes
were dark, almost black as she glared at her niece. She had to
get herself in the killing mode to do this. She knew Hope would
fight back and this meant she, herself would to have to fight.
Julianna cracked her neck and fingers. Quickly Jules crouched
low and leapt forward. Her long nails her out and heading
straight for Hope's chest. The young angelus noticed this and
quickly did a back flip causing Julie to skid on her stomach. As
Jules did this she also rolled to get back onto her feet. With a
swift motion she grabbed Hope's head and shoulders and jerked,
causing her neck to break. The girls body fell limply onto the
ground. " now it's time to wait..." Julianna had been here
several times before, waiting on the dead to come back alive.
She had also been on the other side, forcing herself back alive.
Hope was surrounded by darkness. Everything was
quiet, so quiet it was annoying to her. She growled and paced
back and forth looking at the two doors, one that kept her in
death and the other that would take her back to life. Laid out
before her was an easy way it, the door to death that she could
easily walk up and open, or the hard one, the life door, where
she would have to concentrate and work to get it to open.
She chose life, with this she sat there and
glared, concentrating on the door. " come on..open up!" she
growled loudly, but nothing happened. She huffed and walked up
to it and grabbed the door tightly pulling. She gritted her
teeth continued to pull. " ggaaahhh!!!!!" she grunted and the
door cracked. She stopped to regain her strength and then pulled
again, the door let in more and more kitty with each passing
second, until Hope could squeeze her way through it. Quickly she
lt she was jerked to the ground. Taking a large breath of air,
Hope's body jerked and she slowly began to move. Julianna stood
there looking down and laughed. " well, that only took you three
hours. We have to work on that." Wincing and grabbing her neck,
Hope slowly stood up slowly and sighed. " Yes ma'am" she said
her head throbbing. They continued to do death training for the
next full year. Within this time Julianna was taken away from
her her son, her husband, she didn't even know where they were
or who they were. Hope had learned the basics of fighting and
death training as well as how to train herself to become better.
" you did well Hope, now it's up to you to continue you training
and grow.

As the memory if training her niece ended, the new memory of her
going back to the palace played. She watched herself run to Kal
as she had just seen him for the first time. She tearfully tried
to calm him down when she told him that Ezo was missing. The
memory fast-forward to the moment when she caught the vision of
her sons body lying in his own blood, dead.

At the site of the memory, Julie just wanted to quit breathing.
It was horrible. She knew she had to be strong, but at the
moment she was nothing. She was just an angel, laying n the
ground, broken.

Kal sat on the roof of the palace. Looking out over Oah, his
mind calm but his spirit weary. He had lost his son, then lost
his best friend in a matter of weeks. But there was not longer
time for him to be weak. No longer time for him to show he had
any emotion what so ever. He was a machine now. Here for the
sake of Oah. His goal to fill the void left by the friend he had
lost. Not to replace what he had been, but become something that
would make his absence something that wouldn't leave a whole in
the life's of many. He didn't even have the luxury of allowing
himself to doubt that he could do it.

Slowly she felt herself entering back into reality and she
blinked a few times. Her eyes that had hazed over were now a
deep chocolate brown once more. She carefully sat up and looked
around, making sure no one had caught her in the act of being
vulnerable. She hated that. Only one person could shemtrust to
be open like that, and she hadn't seen him in a while. She stood
up and whipped herself down, making sure then grass was off her
back.
Just as she finished whipping herself she jumped into the air,
throwing her wings out and taking off in flight. She flew
towards the palace , her long hair waving in the wind

His blue eyes looked over Oah relentlessly. The force of his
gaze suggesting unforeseeable amounts of power liked away in the
man known as fear. He seemed to be protecting Oah with the gaze.
Like even if he wasn't lifting a finger at the moment, his gaze
was enough to keep the things that would threaten Oah away. He
was so focused on the city he did not see the angelic in the sky
flying twords the palace.

She continued to fly, faster and faster. She moved her wings so
that the force would propel her toward the palace faster. Her
eye site locked on someone upon the palace roof, Kal. She knew
it was her husband by the scent he gave off. Though he didn't
move, she new he was distracted by his dispostion, she decided
not to bother him, even though it had been awhile since they
were in each others arms. Lately it seemed liked they weren't
even married, just acquatences,but Julie knew it wasn't really
like that.
She flew past him quickly and landed in the back of the palace,
quietly. She sighed softly and ran her fingers through her hair
to fix it.

Just before she had passed him Kal noticed his wife. While his
expression stayed confident and firm he felt a small pang in his
heart. Seeing her made him realize how long it had been since he
had actually seen her. Even further made him try to recall the
last time they had spoken as if they were actually lovers. Not
the formal babel of two quintessences. Then thinking of her made
him think of their son. Little baby Ezo, the thought of him made
a memory play in his head so vivid it was like he were seeing it
with his own eyes at this very moment.
His defenseless little son. Laying on the ground, his skin pale.
The life long faded from his eyes as he laid in a pool of his
own blood. Kal could feel his chest tighten. The flood of
emotion he kept locked inside behind the steel of his gaze. This
was why he hadn't seen his love on so long. Because even though
his heart ached to be with her after being away so long, being
at her side brought for emotions that he wouldn't, couldn't feel
for the sake of his home.
