"Carefree...yeah that's what they say about me" his voice fades
slowly until it seems to vanish, his voice carried along the
currents of the wind. The flowers around them that had yet to
blossom bloom vibrantly, the trees around them seem to leap
forward bursting with new life. "that was one of our best
creations" a gentle tear rolls down his cheek in memory.
"That's where I met my wife, she is still around somewhere" Kae
says gently a laugh passing through his lips remembering. "I
guess we will never which of us truly is stronger, which is
good, very good. We need not know such a thing. Creation and
Destruction constantly answer such questions" Kae feeling a bit
tired once more he leans against the tree, moss growing on it to
provide him with some comfort. "Our family might be here
shortly, so I believe our time of reminiscing is nearly at an
end. They need not know just hold their father/uncle truly is."

Something wet and cold poked at my face, drawing my mind to the
conscious reality. A soft sigh escapes past my lips, the world
of dreams and spirits now felt distant and no longer as vivid as
it can be only in my dreams. Opening my eyes I looked into teal
orbs that match my own. White fur that could make even the
purest of snow jealous brushed against my hand, trying to coax
me into being fully awake. With a smile upon my face I sit up,
my hands wrapping around the wolf: my friend, my savior, my
Guardian. The memory of our meeting in that long ago dream that
wasn’t a dream was as vivid as ever. The day I had tried to
drown. The dream where spirits surrounded me – trying to pull my
being into a thousand different directions. But there was one,
one pure white wolf that led me the way to air and freedom from
death whose hands held me tightly. It truly felt like only
yesterday, and perhaps it was. Time always seemed to slip
through my hands like sand on a beach. Never able to keep track
of it, never fully wanting to.
Lying back down in the grass I stare up into the branches of one
of the few old trees that lived in this place. Its branches
splayed out across the sky reaching up towards the heavens. Its
bark showing the smoothness of new and the roughness of old. My
eyes slip close, time escapes me and I find myself once more in
the world of dreams and spirits. Never was this truly
intentional. The ability of what I was and soon to become held
no order, it came and went as it pleased. Before I am able to be
completely lost to this world the cold wet nose of my Guardian
pokes at my face once more pulling me awake yet again. Sitting
up, my back now resting against the old okay tree, “Am I
forgetting something .. ?” Teeth grip my hand softly and tug at
it, trying to draw me into walking. “It seems I have.”
Standing up, the world swayed the colours bled together, but the
soft tugging kept me up right and moving forward. Mind cleared,
the world became stable and sane once more. A sigh escaped past
my lips as I looked over the scenery that passed by. The trees
where small, the mark of man's fiddling apparent. The colours
where more dull, the sounds more distant and distorted than they
were in the world of my dreams. No Fledgling is able to control
their powers. But, it sometimes felt as if I was the most
behind. The spirit world was only apparent to me in dreams, and
even then they collided with the dreams of my subconscious. The
soft tugging stops, bringing my mind to the present now and to
see who it was I had come across – two shamans whose rank and
age were much ahead of my own. My mind still spinning with
tiredness I do the only thing that came to mind: curtsy.

Looking out over the horizon Kae turns around to see his
daughter quickly approaching, smiling softly to himself as she
came even closer toward him. Watching her curtsy made him feel
happy she'd been raises properly so far. So he figured the
       curtsy was for her uncle.
"Ahh come here child, it's nice to see you out and about right
now" he looks at the wolf nodding thankfully. He knew this
particular spirit well enough to trust it to guard his daughters
life. Quietly he looks back to his brother "Now I'd like you to
meet my daughter, she is quite shy so I've been told" he laughs
quietly to himself before picking up his daughter lifting her
into his lap. "So what brings you here Kita?"

Gazini felt the coming of the new shaman. He smiled seeing how
his brother reacted. He closed the conversation to take the
young girl's face in. He smiled and bowed, " So you are my
brother's young one. We have not met I believe. My name is
Gazini Vic..." He paused and shook his head slightly. " Gazini
Kyufin." He smiled and knelled down to become eye level with the
young girl. He pulled out a small trinket that had a snake on a
       pendent.
"Here I will let you hold on to this for now. It is a way to get
ahold of me at anytime you need help." He handed her the small
oval shaped trinket. It had a green emerald snake ontop of an
onxy stone. He smiled and rested it in her hand." Don't be a
stranger. Since you are the daughter of my Brother. I am sure
your company will be just as his is." He looked to Kae and
       smiled slightly.
" Brother I hate to do this, but I need to tap into the spirit
realm to met with my spirit about where this new realm is going
to be for our.... 'Kind family'"
Gazini looked down at the child and smiled. He could see her
father in her eyes, but a very gentle heart inside her chest. He
could only guess that is from the wife of his brother. He had
never let Gazini meet the Mother, for Gazini around most women
seemed to provoke his rage. Gazini never once had a lover for he
had been shot down once by the only one he ever loved. Gazini
Bowed and walked into the deep forest. Closing the path off so
that he could focus his full being into the realm. However his
voice shot back to the pair of father and daughter.
"If you want you may join me in my journey here in a moment, I
just need to find the best place for the spirits to... merge
       persay with the other realms."

A smile broke out over my lips as I heard the voice of my father
and felt the familiar arms pull me onto his lap. It was the
place of warmth and safety, the one place where the horrors of
the outside world could not touch me or dare try to. Looking up
into my father’s face I tilted my head to the side, “Guardian
lead me to here because …” I paused for a moment, trying to
remember the reasons I had come to this place, “Father, is there
something I have forgotten to do?” My words difted off as the
presence of the other man had been brought to my attention once
more. Shrinking against my father’s chest I watched the man with
       caution.
Being around and interacting with those who are not of my close
family or of that world of spirits and dreams never fails to
make me shy and want to shrink away. The beings that are a part
of this reality held many shadows and dangerous secrets hidden
beneath the layers of their being. These shadows, and their
secrets, are shown by the form a spirit takes once they become a
part of that other reality. Or, this was what I have begun to
believe from the very times I have been in that other world.
My arms longed to curl around my Guardian’s neck and my face -
growing red with shyness - longed to hide within his soft white
fur. But to escape from my father’s lap and to hide from this
man who is my uncle would be something a child would do,
something I tried so hard not to be at times like these. With
hesitancy I allowed him to place the locket within the palms of
my hands and listened intently to the words that he spoke. “Th…
Thank you ..” It never occurred to me to tell my uncle my name
while I was under control of my shyness. My head tilted back
up, looking once more into my father’s face. The questions of
the meaning behind the words the man spoke apparent on my face.
The politics of the shaman world was a subject that was always
lost to me. No matter how many times a tutor, or my father
himself, explained it, I could never grasp it in the same manner
that I would never be able to grasp time.

Kae walks into the compound after my daughter, quietly he scoops
Kita up in his arms holding her in his arms. "Hello daughter, I
hope you are not shy around these two. They will not harm you."
he kneels beside his daughter playfully messing up her hair. He
then looks over at his brother.
"I do not think it's a good idea to speak about such things in
front of my daughter" Kae speaks calmly before looking over at
Damion "Ahh yes, it's been quite some time since you were home.
Come come speak of the news of the world. Tell me how things
are" quickly Kae's kneel turns into a sitting position as he
enjoys the few moments where some of those who are closest to
       him are surrounding him.

Gazini Has opened the gates of the spirit realm summoning the
Shamans to the point of where he was. He let himself become a
beacon so every shaman in his family would join at one place. It
was time someone took the lead and he knew that Kae would be a
great leader. From the history of the two Gazini was known as
Kae's shadow. Gazini never liked to be seen, however shamans
everywhere knew of him. Few have seen him, and even fewer have
heard him speak. Gazini had 3 different ways to talk. His normal
multivoice from his other lives, his old foes, his old family
all spoke at once while he did causing the voices to harmonize.
His own voice, which he only has ever used around Kae, it was a
voice that would poison and rot the very blood in most people's
veins for the air in his voice is toxic. His third is his
spirits voice. A snake like twisted voice that had a low raspy
voice, and a middle octive voice that emphasized his 's' sounds.
Gazini waited for all the family to join him and his brother in
the forest. It was time to build a kingdom. This time they would
not fail the world. This time nothing would destroy the realm.
They would protect it, they would become the family they needed
to be. At least that is what Kae wanted so for now that was good
       enough for Gazini.
