A Reunion Among Strangers.
DIR By: [Saint] Sakura
Date: December 22, 2011, 2:05 am
---------------------------------------------------------
A euphoric light, transcendent upon the reality that is known
upon these feeble lands, fell upon the earth with such vivid,
preeminent guise, that the Earth itself laid in suspension,
waiting with bated breath, as this luminous sight enveloped all
in its being. No flora or fauna alike escaped this magnificent
presence as it fell into unity with the forming reality. All
matter bended, braced, and was reborn into a glorious coven of a
land; chaste blooms of past fated springs fell from a white sky,
seemingly born of dazzling stars that lay speckled amongst the
same white sky. There was no limit between the ground—which lay
carpeted of ashen colored grass and littered with millions of
alabaster blooms—and the eternal sky; no, the stars themselves
fell at various lengths to gather amongst this most sacred of
meeting places.
To love is to dream, but to dream is not to love…
In this new reality, crystals conceived alongside trees, equally
as colossal as the lofty trees that bled thick red sap and bore
thick, strange fruits and mimicking blossoms above them.
This is the land where I love you.

Re: A Reunion Among Strangers.
DIR By: Samael

---------------------------------------------------------
Deus: God: Warrior: Tyrant: Evil...
These were his callings; the man, nay, the beast, who's
unnatural creation was but a mockery of order in the cosmos.
These were the titles of one infinitely more powerful than a
god, undeniably more cruel than any tyrant, and more chaotic
than evil could describe. These were the words used to portray a
being born of the purest order; created of the greatest light,
and yet, these names and words, were all correct. For these were
the words spoken in reference to Samael. The Aer Deus. The God
of the Ether. The walker of the void, and the greatest opponent
order had ever been faced with. A truly Chaotic figure; bathed
in an aura that not even death would dare to touch, and gifted
with the power beyond natural or supernatural.
He was awakened by a sound; a sound like no other; a tugging of
matter, a birthing of stars, a tearing of reality, and when such
a noise sprung into life between where the realms lay dormant,
Samael knew what had been. A new verse; a new dimension, a new
world to conquer had been unsheathed from the ether, and he
could feel its potent new presence. It was close by; a near step
from his humble aetherial abode, and with a twist of luck, it
lay in a direct path to a more luminous reality. The reality
where his father stood; where his uncles had lived, where his
goal would meet with the blood of his forsaken family, and chaos
would spread. This new reality was between him and his pursuit
of corrupt purity. It was in his way, and it had to go.
With feet neither moving nor stepping; hands at his side, and a
large black trench adorning his muscular body, the son of the
eldest celestial stepped forth from his inexplicable home
amongst the vast nothingness, and tore open a gateway to the
nearby world. He flung himself headlong through the warping
doorway- a tunnel untold miles long, and yet perceived as a mere
frame of light- as he drew forth his massive scythe blade, and
collected his power. He knew not what awaited him; for this new
world was cloaked in an unearthly light that perplexed him, so
to be sure of his safety in the land, he held his massive weapon
at the ready.
His near angelic eyes; a blue like that of the most beautiful
oceans, peered forth from the entrenched doorway, and with one
foot meeting solid ground, he had arrived. He swiveled and
gazed; all directions taken into sight without delay, as the
blades monolithic edge gleamed in the travesty called light. It
shone like a pale moon against the night sky in Samaels gloved
hand, and yet it took nothing away from the truly dominating
presence he seemed to adorn. He stood six foot five; neither
thin, nor light, and his muscles quaked with power beneath his
sable attire. His light hair; the only remnant of his once
celestial past, shone with ferocious contrast to his dark
wardrobe, and his mesmerizing eyes glittered in the new found
realms putrid brilliance.
Nothing was as he had ever seen; no ordinary plants, no animals
of descent he recognized, and no stars in the sky. The realm was
magnificent; matching his own chaos-verse of old, and yet he
couldnt place his finger on why it stood out so. There was a
beauty within such oddities; such travesties of nature, such
massive alterations to the order of things, and he truly did
like it. For being one of chaos; one of change, one of rebirth,
he knew all too well the wonders of the warp, and the glory of
things that should not be. He witnessed pillars of crystal as he
began to move forward; spires of earth shimmering and twisting
with gems of unnatural size. He saw plants as solid as
mountains; as large as them too, and animals seemed to neither
mind nor notice his presence... Which.. Was quite odd indeed.
He had always been feared; by those sentient and those
instinctual, and with this world came a new sense of anonymity.
A sense that he was not known; nor did he know himself, and this
overpowering burst of inflection caught him off guard entirely.
He could feel the ebb and flow of the aer all around; he could
see its weaving strands as they fixed the natural order into
place amongst the twisted reality, and yet, he did nothing to
adjust or destroy. He did nothing to dismember or dissolve what
he saw before him. He couldnt... He didnt want to... The world
was so clear, so clean, so unmistakably new and odd, that he
couldnt help but think of times forgotten. Of times when beauty
had caught his eye, of times when he had been sought after, of
times when he had been loved. He pictured his father then; his
blade out, and a searing pain roaring through his chest, and
before he could finish his daydream, rage subdued his flashback.
It tore about inside his head; repairing the damage to chaos
that had been so quickly done, and while still walking, Samael
cursed himself for being so casual and aloof. So distant from
what he was... what they had made him.
Gripping his scythes handle with a renewed vigor and strength;
moving forward faster now, He began to search for something. For
anything to give him reason. A reason to destroy the entire
world, the entire realm, the entire reality, and continue on
towards his father. He sought but one small sign; one movement
of order against him, and yet.. none shown. None arrived. None
occurred.
He walked and walked; slowly losing his twisted edge of anger,
whilst day and night passed without a thought upon how time
should work. First came night, then came morning, then came
dusk, then came day. The shifts were random; a perfect chaos, a
perfect chaos. Those symbolic words rang out in his head; as if
planted there by something far greater than he, as he walked and
moved throughout the new and forsaken world. He couldnt do it;
not now, not ever. This place would be safe; free of the taint
of his destruction, and free from the natural order.. For it was
in his mind, a home he never thought could exist. An ever
changing, renewing, perpetual wasteland of beauty, and chaos. He
actually... liked it...
---Suddenly---
Caught off guard by a movement; his steeled gaze fixed on the
oncoming being, Samael prepared himself for combat, and
fortified his resolve against losing himself to the ever
altering chaos. He gripped his scythe with both hands; gathered
a force ungodly within its blade edge, and when the being was
within range, he charged.... and stopped... For within his
reach; stepping from the very shadows of a crystalline pillar,
was not but a small boy. A teary eyed, mortal child.... The
young soul was not of birth or of blood; not of bone, and not of
spirit. He was by definition of nothing.. An Aer Elemental lost
since the dawn of time.. A being whose sole purpose was
forgotten even by them... Samael knew immediately what it was;
how old, how strong, and every last detail of its creation and
so called existence.. For the boy told him; through the ether,
and through unspoken words. He shared with Samael everything and
anything; words unknown were translated, and images of greatness
were folded into blackness...
As Samael prepared to speak; to attempt to console or corrupt,
the boy ceased to be. No longer sentient, no longer corporeal,
no longer real, no longer there. His eyes fixed on the spot from
whence the boy had vanished, and no matter how hard he tried, he
could not trace him. For no movement existed that could not be
seen through the aer, and yet.. this boy simply wasnt there
anymore...
Samael was lost; confused and confounded, supremely surprised,
and for the first time, worried. Could he vanish like that?
Would the Aer do to him as it had done to that being? Would his
conquest, his goal of purity through chaos, lead to his own
abandonment of existence? Would he wander alone... forever...
never to be anywhere, and yet seeing everything? Was he to watch
from the sidelines while chaos ruled; or as order fought back,
while all others played a part in the great balance he sought to
overpower?
His head filled with questions left over by the boys appearance
and disappearance. He spun in his own twisted fantasies, and
eventually, he came to a point where an overwhelming shift in
understanding would breach his dark embrace. He suddenly
realized something never before realized by him; something he
had never thought possible or real, and as the sudden epiphany
settled upon him, he came to rest upon a low crystal mound. His
legs splayed out before him; blade resting against his lap,
while he stared up at the blankness of the sky, and his entire
world spun about.
He was going to die. He was going to cease to be. He was going
to do exactly as he swore to do, and end everything in chaos. In
change... He realized that now; knew it to be true, but with his
knowledge came something else. He suddenly knew what lay beyond
the great picture... He wasnt only going to succeed, but fail as
well. For in the ushering in of an era of chaos; a release of
all things shifting and new, he would in turn be re-creating all
order and light that he fought to destroy. He would purify, and
destroy simultaneously...
His father had been right.. All along.. He was evil, a monster,
a destroyer, and yet he was as it had always been said.. He was
rebirth, renewal, and chaos embodied. He faced this new idea;
this new truth, with a great steeled gaze, and a potent
blankness. For he wished it to be true, but hated it as well. He
did want to be free of this painful curse; to be clean and
alive, to be happy and healthy in at least one way. He wanted to
walk with others, see what life could bring, but he first, had
to rid the world of both light, and dark. Of purity and
corruption.. He had to defeat his father, and Kaos.. He had to
defeat himself....
He slumped against the great stone seat; eyes closing with the
pressure of a thousand year struggle, and as his head lolled
back, and sleep dared to test his power, a simple flicker of
hope passed over his thoughts, and a new purpose caught hold of
his soul... His father wanted purity through balance.. He wanted
purity through chaos... and He had to be the one to bring both
together, and permanently balance the perfection of chaos with
the solitude of order... He had to die by a blade he knew was
coming.. and kill with a blade he wished he never had forged....

The soft breeze hushed; the very air held its breath. The
rippling of the lush grass ceased, in all its bemused wonder,
and all laid still.
Slender feet took root upon the ground; bare and pale, naked
like a newborn babe. They silently ran through the grass,
cautious with every new step taken. Bordering along the edge of
the wood line stood one cautious creature; her lithe body
pressed against the sturdy body of a lighted crystal formation.
She was still, almost nonexistent in the muted night. Then she
took breath; a quick rise of her chest, but all that was needed
to cause a quiver in her delicate hair.
O, her hair!
This creature, so strange upon examination, was perplexing in a
way that words could not portray. Silver hair, as if composed of
pure moonlight, cascaded down her lissome frame like a
waterfall. Each tendril of hair was delicately crafted so that
it, much like a snowflake, was unlike any other commodity in the
world. Each movement of her seemingly frail body caused a
delicate ripple that brushed lovingly against her porcelain
skin.
O, what a creature was she!
Atop her head she wore wolfish ears, silver to match her
inimitable hair, and what seemed to stream from her lower back
was a thick tail, woven of the same silver fur. At length, this
impeccable tail stretched to her ankles, and swayed cautiously
against her bare legs.
This celestial creature, for no other words quite covered such a
being, wore clothing that befitted such an environment.
Translucent silk adorned her humble, womanly frame, cloaking her
in such a way as to leave her porcelain skin exposed, and yet
hidden away, as if a treasure to be safeguarded and chaste of
sight.
It was an odd material, catching and refracting the light in
such a way as to create a luminescent tapestry about this
otherworldly creature. It hung long on her body, falling behind
her on the ground and obediently following her every movement
with delicate quavers. Slits, precisely made, work their way up
this creature’s leg, plummets into her breasts, and snakes down
her arm, allowing for the freedom of movement. Silver threads
bare accents about her ensemble, intricate designs that laced
about her before finding their resting peace in form of a corset
about her waist.
But the strangest anomalies about this creature were her eyes. A
rich golden hue colored them, much resembling the last embers of
an inviting winters flame. Certain warmness took permanent
residence within her eyes as flames seemed to lace through.
Passion, warmth; the very secrets of the world laid in these
artisan crafted eyes. They rested in almond shaped sockets and
were carefully framed with thick, feathery eyelashes.
A soft word escaped her thin lips, a single word. But that word
filled to become an entity all its own, and filled the night air
like the hushed remnants of a lullaby. It weaved its course
through the night, landing ever so gently upon any eager ears.
“Hello?” She called. And then she spoke again, her thin lips
dancing to form the words. “Am I alone?” There was a certain
forlorn element to her voice, something unplaced about the way
she talked. But her gentle nature took root within her words,
and that soft pang of emotion was quickly lost within her voice.

"Am I Alone?"
As if in some form of a dream; his hearing leading to his
thinking, Samael caught hold of a whispered tune on the wind,
and it suddenly washed over his exhausted form. It cascaded over
his thoughts like a wave upon the beach, and in the midst of his
turmoil, such a thing was impossible to defeat. It smashed his
barricades; how futile they were, and as he began to ponder upon
the words once more questioning, he was suddenly overcome with a
frustrated sadness. For he was alone; alone in the world, in
goal, in his traitorous life. He was alone, and he didnt even
need to ask the question.
He didnt....
"Wait" Snapping to attention; his mind finally catching what he
had heard, Samael stood and quickly looked around. Where had the
words come from; who had spoken them, were they even real? He
thought and thought; trying to shake the fog of confusion away,
as the sound on the wind replayed in his mind. He could swear he
knew the voice; so unmistakeable and delicate. He could place no
finger upon it though; his eyes scanning the twisting shapes in
the darkened spaces around him, and as he began to wonder if it
truly was a mirage or fading memory of sorts, he heard it again.
An echo this time; not for other ears, but for his, sang to him
through the ether, as it pulled the vibrations back from their
separated places, and once more coalesced them into something he
could understand. This time he heard the "Hello", and the
questioning second sentence. This time he could feel where it
came from; he knew now it was not his mind playing tricks, and
yet, he was more anxious to find the source than to finish his
own story. He wanted to create an answer to his own inflection
by answering anothers spoken question.. He wanted to see what;
who, was out there, and whether they were of like mind as him...
Whether he or she was something evil; dark, mysterious, or
something new and odd like this world, Samael simply wanted to
find out.
He needed a distraction...
"Hello"
He said but one word in response.... one word and a thousand
unspoken questions......

The soft mingling of her breathy whisper, with the acrid night
air, echoed within the unearthly walls of this untypical plane.
Only the mellifluous call of her own tender-hearted vocals gave
her company in this unfixing land that weighted her to it. A
wisp of air, insubstantial in its weight, surged from her
capturing lungs to fall into the stilled atmosphere with a
diluted sense of freedom. The muted sigh seized the night; with
ample weight it laid like lead on the empyrean plane that held
this ethereal creature captive in her boundless cage.
She let her woman’s frame descend with such subtle weight; it
was no fall at all, but a subtle dance that brought her to the
waiting ground of colorless existence. Her frame twisted about
without effort—angling and flexing in such a way that any
figurant might witness such a style with envy—each muscle was in
perfect tune with each individual movement; finely gliding and
contracting beneath seamless porcelain skin. The lacing of her
spine, the implied vertebrae that was simply hinted at beneath
the alabaster flesh that adorned this positively unique
creature, arched neatly into a pointed curve until coming to
rest against the solid mound of a crystal formation. Her lithe
body melded to it, slender limbs splayed about haphazardly as
her woman’s silhouette saluted the eternal sky above.
Like droplets of rain water, incandescent in their substance;
tendrils of ethereally woven hair, as if composed of silk,
seamlessly spilled over the crystal formation to pool at its
magnificent base. Each individual strand was finely crafted of a
thousand intricate gems, catching and refracting the endless
existence of white light that permeated the realm; bathing the
woman in a celestial radiance. Stray follicles of woven hair
kissed at her ivory skin; caressing her woman’s frame in
affirmed intimacy.
A singular hand, seen to be sculpted of fresh snow, raises into
the tampered night; stretching each digit of her willowy fingers
at length with abated grace. When her arm, finely crafted and
tenuously chiseled within every detail, was fully reveled of its
proper length, a low yielding star clasped onto the woman’s
tactile extension of her hand, balancing upon the ends. The orb
dazzled vivaciously, as was expected; its effervescent gleam a
momentary spectacle, even within such uncanny terrene.
Thin lips curled delicately, framing the docile working of this
creature’s affable facial traits. As if kindling a renewed
outlook, a fire began to blaze within her golden gaze as the
numerous hues of gold’s, yellows and reds danced and lapped
seamlessly with one another to create a truly warm appeal.
A millennial of counter-existing voices greeted the creature’s
attuned ears; falling from the minute blaze of light she
possessed atop her fingertips. They melded harmoniously, each
whispering of a differently fated tale. The squabbles fell upon
deaf ears; silence the only translation available for the unseen
audience of the land. But the cacophony of sounds was not an
invisible hindrance to Sakura, no, but the only relaying
messenger of life upon this otherworldly stage. As her placid
smile amplified, the singular star counteractively diminished;
falling as nothing more than stardust towards the creatures
exposed bosom. But, as the stardust settled, the strange woman
no longer existed upon the limpid statuette in which she earlier
rested. With no passing of time or effort, she stood behind the
stranger amidst a world of unfamiliar wonders. Her body, cloaked
in the film of lucent fabric, stood strong in stance, but gentle
in presence. When her voice fell on the land, the worlds
translated fluently from the native, unheard language of the
Wolf, to English; her tone agelessly layered in a thousand
voices, all of a mellifluous, amiable nature. “You are welcomed,
stranger, to the land of my heart.”

Beautiful
A word, a truth, a description for life itself, came to mind as
Samael sat within that tomb of perfect chaos. His wandering gaze
and curious expression gave a new light to his stern countenance
as the seemingly off balanced world played out before him. Never
before had such a sight come to fruition before his almighty
eyes, and never would he have believed a seamless comfort could
exist for one such as him.
He watched every fiber of the universe unfold and collapse
around him; from the smallest of things, to the stars in the
heaven, as all that he had come to hate, turned to all that he
never knew he could adore. His heart seemed heavy; though it
tirelessly slept within his chest, as he leaned anxiously
against the solid rock formation beneath him, and witnessed the
true majesty of a beauty unknown to the ages. He seemed to drift
away; beyond his own aetherial self, as light painted the arena
for this new mental battle, and even as the celestial entity
appeared behind him, he was lost to it.
He had spent so many eons, millenia, so much time as it was,
sitting in places he hated. Washing away thoughts he despised.
Destroying what he could not attain for himself: But now, he sat
patiently in one spot, wondering not only about the world he had
ventured into, but upon his very path taken to get there. Had so
many of his horrid acts been committed out of some
misunderstanding? Was he truly evil, or was he unable to accept
the beauty of nature? Was he a monster, or were his crimes but
acts of a rebellious teen seeking comfort and companionship?
His eyes never closed as he sought answers from the wind and the
stars; wishing guidance from that which could not speak to him,
and with a truly awed expression upon his face, he rose. From
seated to standing; neither adjusting himself nor moving
physically, as the petite figure of a female spoke behind him,
and his attention was suddenly captured once more. He spied her
from over his shoulder; an image of heavenly perfection to eyes
mortal and immortal alike, and yet her words came to him as more
powerful than anything he had ever heard or witnessed.
"Your heart?"
His voice; raspy like the scraping of his midnight black blade
upon the earth of his forgotten home, came in a spurt that left
him shaken. As though unintentional or accidental; lips sealing
immediately afterwards, Samael denied the outburst its potency,
and turned to face the woman. His body seemed rigid; limbs heavy
and weighted, whilst his eyes were fixed upon hers. He could not
look away as he stared deep into the warping depths of the
beautiful golden orbs, and before he could force himself to
produce even an ounce of masculine might, his voice once more
broke free from its shackles.
"How can I be here?"
His frame seemed to don a new and sullen state; eyes dropping to
the earth, as his mind raced onward through the ages. He leaned
ever so slightly; a small thump resounding from within his
chest, as one knee made contact with the earth, and he was left
kneeling. He could feel the wind and the aer; the earth and the
fire, all of the elements of this world he sat within, and yet..
He could not feel her.. He could not hear her distant movements
through the ether. He could not watch the threads break and part
for her path in the universe. He could not see her but with his
own eyes, and those seemed to fail him even faster. For with
every look upon her face, another grievous blow was dealt to his
conscious mind, and another rhythmic pulse sounded from within
him.
He could hear the ether speaking to him; warning him, consulting
him and urging him, and yet he could not move. He was paralyzed
and aware of it. As though his body and mind were no longer in
communication; a fight between his aetherical form, and his
expanded sentience, he was stuck there in that spot. Simply
admiring the dirt before his booted foot, as the spectre of
beauty stood patiently before him.
"How can I belong here?"
