Re: The Mad One's Return

The boy's existence was proving harder and harder to ignore. So
much to Urdroxa's dismay he finally heaves a slow sigh, glares
over at the boy while Enquebis begins to speak. When he hears
the situation Razor found himself in he feels his heart break
ever so slightly but is soon finding himself smirking and
thinking 'Of course he's still around, he wouldn't leave not
leaving something to taunt me so...' Then he heard something
that irked him. "The chimaera's... Reduced to it's roots.
Unforgivable." The words echo painfully in the room when his
gaze then fixates on Jackie. "Appreciate this one's words or
they'll be the last you hear..."
Looking back to Enquebis he then starts to walk from the outer
rim of the room to the center, a mere 30 feet from him. "You've
grown so much and I've already lost too much to have it gone for
good." He looks down to his collar bone and parts the vestments,
revealing the three orbs glowing together. "Power... Anguish...
The Nexus. With these three in particular I can create a
temporary source of control. But this one..." He points to a dim
dark orb that has a large fracture down it's center at the base
of his neck. "This one is the one I am the most curious about.
It's been largely invisible until only recently, it's
manifesting..." He begins to chuckle to himself as his eyes
close.
"I have a theory..." He holds up his hands, palms facing
Enquebis. Suddenly slamming his hands together in a precise
jabbing motion piercing both palms with his own fingertips,
causing a light trickle of blood to flow. "My blood used to be
powerful... So much so the world would be rotted away by it's
touch. So I've been careful. Haven't I?" He chuckles knowing the
answer. "Lately however..." He grows serious, noting how his
blood pools at the floor, no effect whatsoever. "My connection
to the root of my TRUE power lies dormant." He grows a knowing
smirk as he glares menacingly.
Lowering his hands to his sides they twitch and his blood
suddenly shoots into his palm, forming two long hardened poles,
each one with a thin line of semi-hard droplets that rotate
violently that wraps around the length. Letting them go they
levitate. One splashes down and reforms into a simple puddle.
"Well I guess one will have to do for now... I'm only now
understanding what I can do so forgive me for my form." He gives
a truly sadistic grin. The fully formed staff begins to spin in
an axis around Urdroxa as he bows his head. Snapping his hands
back, palms facing Enquebis his fingertips coat with blood and
form extended claws.

Jackie only laughed in reply to Urdroxa's words. Although, if
one were to measure power, Urdroxa was sure to be stronger,
Jackie's own version of immortality was just as apparent as this
creature before him. This lack of fear, and in turn,
understanding, apparent in his confident, amused, glare. Yet, he
did keep his thoughts to himself for the time being as he would
watch and wait to see if a favor was needed of him. Seeing as
how the Blayze always were his best suppliers of business.
Watching Urdroxa now a bit more carefully Enquebis stirred in
his seat: lifting his heavy leg to mentally separate the two as
he began to demonstrate his power. Speaking of the pity of the
chimaeras roots and his own misunderstandings of his power. With
a sigh he took a moment to take it all in. "Listen, man..." His
voice ever casual as his free hand rubbed the back of his head.
"You seem a bit confused on the whole deal. Though, I don't
think you're here for the chimaeras sake. God knows there's no
saving that tragedy." He said with a roll of the eyes.
As he fixed his position a spike popped out from the very base
of the guitar as he slammed it against the floor in front of
him: bringing it to attention. His voice was much more serious
now. "The way I see it, Urdroxa. You came here to see four
things I have... That lovely boy Jackie can show you your past
life, if you choose, though the price is heavy... I may show you
my father, but, he ran dry of his chimaera bloodline he carried
so proudly. Or.... There's Phobia and Rose..." He spoke the last
two names with a sense of lament; specifically Rose.
With this all being said Xamphere, still present in the room,
stood up straight from being leaned against the wall. His
attention seemed fixated on the two. It had seemed no matter
what option was presented there was disaster in front of it. He
did not like this. "Enquebis." He stated clearly. Though, the
bulky demon did not bother to look Xamphere's way as he replied.
"I give my guests their worth, Xam." was all he stated.

He seemed to grimace at the thought of Jackie being of use to
him, however became perplexed at how he could help him with his
past. With time any cost could be paid, but first he needed time
to get used to his new found clarity. "The child has a talent
that could help even me? The offer does intrigue me but I'll
pass. In time however I want to learn more of... it." He
disdainfully acknowledges him with an insult and shivers,
refocusing back onto Enquebis and his guitar. The staff he had
created falls and also reforms back into a pool. His
concentration changed for a different purpose.
"As for Razor, him having changed bothers me. It drives me mad
to be honest. If it weren't for the fact that you've been dear
to me I'd have torn you to pieces. However it also goes to show
that I can't draw upon much... for now..." He looks back down to
his hands and smirks. "What I want to know is does he still have
the gift I have given him so long ago." He pauses, thinking
about when Razor was first embraced by the Void.
"On top of that I do wish to see Razor. But it gives me mixed
feelings that I ask this of you. Because I'm being robbed of a
very simple pleasure I sought." He shakes his head. His hands
clench into fists and he heaves a sigh.

Jackie only shook his head with an amused huff in reply to
Urdroxa's blatant insult's, but, understood them. A cane
appearing with a line of white powder rested upon the handle:
shaped as the skull of a vulture. This powder soon to disappear
into the boy's nostrils with a pleased grunt. Enquebis only
chuckling as he saw this; knowing they wouldn't be hearing from
Jackie for quite a bit now. "That's no kid. By all means that is
the grim reaper. Or rather, one of them." Enquebis said plainly
as he turned to Urdroxa.
"Though, that's a story for another time.." He said as he
finally granted Urdroxa the dignity of standing in his presence.
Yet, not moving far from where he sat. "As for Razor... His
changes are of his own making. Old man would say it too. I don't
know what he can and can't do, but, I do know it's not easy
being on a leash..." He said absentmindedly as he made his way
over to the throne. Thinking over what Urdroxa said of what he
truly desired to do. A smirk crossing over Enquebis' lips. "But,
let's quit the chatting. Why don't you see for yourself what
demons he left me?"
These words felt ominous, almost echoing, as Enquebis sat upon
the black throne. Taking the guitar until both his hands as he
let out a calming sigh. His fingers beginning to dance over the
cords. Yet, despite his calm composure the notes were an uneasy
type of soothing. Something that would creep upon one's mind as
three flaming skulls appeared high above Enquebis. They gasped
for air in an unruly growl only for ash to be pulled from their
mouths: pouring into the center of the room. This ash spiraling
as a tornado before center into one defined mass. Here stood
Razor; his body resembling that of burnt charcoal as ash seemed
to occasionally crumble off. His body adorned with red velvet
drapings as he stood between the two.
Enquebis was the first to interject as he spoke in a confident,
amused, tone. "What's up, pops! I see the yoga ain't helpin'
much. I'm sure Kira might have some lotion in the back." Razor
looking back to his son with his red eyes glimmering a faint
annoyance. "I thought you were not man enough to sit on that
throne, Enquebis. You wanted your sister to serve that role if
I'm right." With those words leaving his dried lips his son's
eyes were quick to turn to a glare. Razor turning to face
Urdroxa. "It's seems you need a savior this time around,
brother." The ashes cracking away from Razor's face as his
expression strained into a smile.

'Another tiny being masquerading as something grand.' The
Initial thoughts of Urdroxa about Jackie, but he quickly
remembered just how many times he himself used deception to get
the fastest answers. His gaze seemed to fixate on the boy for
some time. Pondering over when he too had a diminutive form he
used to use when cavorting among the other demi-gods and
goddesses. He shook his head, choosing to dismiss the thought of
another tiny god scoffing at him while intoxicated.
Urdroxa grit his teeth when Enquebis referred to Razor being on
a leash. 'Did he really let himself get beaten by his pup?' He
thought for a moment, just a moment, what it might be like
should he decide to have progeny. A thought violently shoved
from his mind. As Enquebis began performing, Urdroxa felt his
body stiffen in response. At first apprehensive but then when
the energies began to merge into something familiar he found
himself calming down.
Seeing his old brother in this diminished state made him
agitated once again, his anger for the one who did this to him
evident through gritted teeth. "R-Razor..." He found his feet
shuffling quickly forward to the mass of cinders and suddenly
wrapped his arms around him, his own flesh beginning to scorch
and cause damage. It was through sheer desperation that he was
able to maintain the hug for the brief moments he could but as
he recoiled in pain he found himself quickly wiping away tears,
trying hard not to show weakness in front of his brother. Trying
hard to remain the big brother.
"Look what happened to you... What did you let him do to you?"
He found his mind quickly diverted from the whole reason he
asked to be here. His only thoughts going out to the family he
thought he'd lost forever. "We... We can still make you
whole..." His burnt hand reached out for Razor's cheek but only
made it so far before finding it hard to keep it close. So
instead he held his hand as close as he could so he wouldn't get
burnt but still feel the warmth of his family. "I... Was gone
for so long... I've been fractured again, but this time I broke
down my body into too many selves over too many lifetimes
without using the Nexus." He sighed heavily, trying to catch his
breath through the stifled sobs.
"But I'm here now." His expression gets a little more serious.
"And this time I won't leave your side." He lowers his hand, it
now even more badly burned. His body begins to droop just a
slight amount as he passively divides the majority of his
remaining strength to repair the damaged tissue. This lapse in
judgement and thought for Urdroxa lasted for some time before he
remembered what he had sought. "Razor... A long time ago I
brought you into the Void and your body was remade in glorious
Ire... I need you to help reawaken my power. For some reason one
of the orbs in my chest began to manifest when I was here. I
think it's because it's calling out to the sparks it gave life
to." He shook his head, trying still desperately to fight back
the tears. "I'm just... glad I found you..." He found himself
trailing back to his previous conundrum.

Razor looked down as he watched his brother cling to him for
dear sanity. A sense of disattachment crossing over him as his
predatorial eyes scanned over the sobbing creature. It was
occurring to him just how different the two had aged. Urdroxa; a
being who dreamed of power got his just, but, was torn by it.
Whereas he had dreamed of being king to a kingdom he will never
truly see with his own eyes. He couldn't help but to let out a
bit of an inappropriately timed chuckle before his body
dispersed into ash: rematerializing away from his brother's
touch. "Calm your mind, brother..."
With that he turned his head begrudgingly to face his "prodigy."
Letting out a displeased huff as his judging eyes scanned over
the grinning Enquebis: still seated in his throne. "This boy,
Urdroxa.." He said before turning back to his brother. "He did
not do this to me. In order for the chimaera as a race to
live... Chimaeras as an experiment must die. I was not born,
but, created. To revive me would destroy what I created... Or
rather what is soon to be." He said with a faint chuckle.
It was clear he was growing a bit strained from standing as he
groaned. Walking over to the throne, though, he did not demand
Enquebis to move. Simply sitting upon the arm rest; even causing
his son to look a bit surprised. "As for your missing spark... I
think you are looking for the wrong face.... Two aspects of my
mortal power remain alive... Both represent links to you. One
belongs with me, Phobia, and one by the name of Rose goes to
you, Urdroxa…. Both reside in these castle walls." He said
before letting out a case of loud raspy coughs.
Enquebis finally letting out a huff. "Oh thank god. That Rose
kid blows up half the castle every time he cracks a smile."
Razor groaning in reply to Enquebis as he gathered the ability
to talk: wishing he could moisten his eternally dry throat.
"Yes... Well, he wasn't exactly made on purpose, Enquebis.. Only
Urdroxa can do anything about him.. Even your sister isn't that
strong." All the while as he spoke he was attempting to stretch
his joints: ash breaking off like small pebbles. Of course
Enquebis forced to continue playing the melody on his guitar.

Urdroxa felt the strange disassociation from Razor, having
become dramatically acute to the small changes in body language
and tone in his voice. He nods slowly before his gaze goes back
to looking between Razor and Enquebis. He stood silently as he
listened to the explanations to his methods. At first he didn't
understand but soon he was well aware of how long some plots can
extend and with this he simply nodded.
He tilted his head a little at the thought of an individual
linked to himself through another's segmenting. "Rose..." He
toyed with the name, unsure of where this individual fit but
just as ravenous as he was for power he was just so with
knowledge and his curiosity peaked. "In what way does this
individual pertain to me? What role does he play in the grand
scheme...?" He looks around the room, not finding another
individual he then looks over to Enquebis with a smirk. "One
whom causes chaos and earns the disdain of those around him,
does however sound like me..."
He chuckled at the thought of Phobia. Quite possibly Urdroxa's
greatest experiment to what utter darkness and depravity can do
to someone truly powerful. This much he remembered, but what he
longed to know was, what became of his pet? "You say Phobia
belongs with you? Perhaps sometime then you'd indulge me with a
visit." Urdroxa's eyes carefully followed the playing of the
guitar, well aware now what was required to maintain Razor's
stay. "For now though... Let's see this Rose person... How may I
find him?" He said as his body began to shiver, the dark glow
emanating from the central orb pulsed ominously, just once.

The two listened to Urdroxa's words. It had seemed to be a
shared trait, but, one Razor had to burn to learn: whereas
Enquebis was taught as a child. Discipline. Awaiting for his
words to finish and his decision to be made. Razor only coughing
out in an attempt to laugh as he thinks of Urdroxa meeting
Phobia. Speaking in an amused tone. "Frankly, as far as that
virus is concerned, all I care about is that he is killed. Who
meets him before then and how long it takes is really of no
consequence to me... Though my son does enjoy keeping him
separate from me." His words showing his distaste for Enquebis
yet again.
Yet, he was quick to drop that attitude as he pondered over
Rose. Looking to the floor for a moment with a raspy sigh. "In
truth. With the boy I can only speculate. He seems to be of a
similar makeup as you physically and possible place of origin.
His mind is it's own consciousness, but, it is infected with my
demons: as if rooted with Phobia or I. It has no viable way to
control it's power over Ire. With any twinge of emotions he
explodes in a blade of Ire. None would want to frighten the boy;
let alone try to kill him." Razor chuckled begrudgingly at the
idea of the little monster. It was a little unexpected kink in
his plan.
He finally looked up and with that urged his face into that
stone smile. Obviously bittersweet in nature as he spoke softer
now. "Enquebis will take you to Rose, Urdroxa. He will be glad
to be rid of the boy. Though, I will have to go. This form is...
Tiring. For me and my son." He said as he looked to Enquebis.
Who only huffed in reply. "Yeah. I'll take ya. Though, we'll see
about Phobia." He said boldly. Still playing for those last
minutes to give Urdroxa his moment.

'Has Phobia progressed enough to become such a thorn in his
side? Or is he too part of a grander scheme long set in motion
by Razor... He's grown so...' And with those thoughts he feels a
single tear well up and is quickly dismissed. More and more
memories begin to well up within Urdroxa, his mind finally
strong enough to handle a single continuous thought on his own
without relying on the power donated to him by the Nexus and
using the spirit as a conduit. He nods and chuckles slightly at
the thought of Enquebis frequently teasing Razor, this
playfulness brings Urdroxa to ease.
When Urdroxa learns of Rose and his possibilities he cannot
control the excitement, his eyes widen. The golden pupil in
Urdroxa's eyes flare and a small smile creeps over his lips.
'Ire lives on... Perfect.' He thinks for a moment, after a brief
pause 'They... want rid of him...?' He smirks a little, still
mentally going over a theory he had a long time ago. "He must
have grown exponentially, this is a good sign that just because
I am absent doesn't mean my power is any less" He absently says
to himself, almost reassuring himself. He looked forward to
seeing the boy, in fact if things were to pan out the way he now
has in mind, things might become very interesting.
His body begins to leak some of the energy, his body net yet
fully efficient it cascades off of him sequentially. At first it
was a dim trickle that could be barely registered by those
around him but now, as if sparked by the new knowledge, it
begins to flood off him in short waves. To Urdroxa this was a
slight necessity, for it required an enormous amount of power to
maintain a pseudo-clarity he currently had but now it also was
going to serve his purposes as a lure. Beings of Ire are
inextricably drawn to large sources of power to prey upon
normally, but maybe Rose would see this as an invitation.
Looking over to Enquebis as Razor finished talking and sighs. At
first he mourns his brother once more, but a thought kicks in
and changes his expression completely to a hungry smile. "I
understand now Razor. This isn't a farewell, but a promise to
see you again." He chuckles and shakes his head, now
understanding how childish he had been earlier but still felt
the need to feel just once more. "Before you go... I love you.
Don't mistake my love for weakness though, I can't wait for the
time when I can remind you just how I show my passions." He
raises his right arm and flexes, a daring smirk on his lips, and
is broken by a laugh. "But seeing as how we're both broken
beings we'll need some time to recover ya?" He nods once after
finally collecting that calm, collected self he usually is and
looks to Enquebis.
"Let's go..."

Razor was not quite ready to go despite how tired his form was
growing: the ash now breaking off all the quicker. He wished to
watch and listen to this last goodbye from Urdroxa. Though, it
was obvious to him it had been different for the two of them.
Although trapped in suffering, Razor was rested. He had reached
his finality and was given some form of... Rest. Whereas
Urdroxa… He was trapped in the suffering of unrest and
nostalgia. It forced a bittersweet smile to the tired chimaera's
lips. His goodbye not as hopeful for the future as Urdroxa's
own. "Take better care of yourself, brother."
As he spoke these final words the tune of the strings began to
change into a different melody for a song, a smirk appearing on
Enquebis' lips for a moment. Like an illusion the ash forming
into the image of a white haired man whos eye seemed injured. A
strong, distinguished, warrior: reeking of pride and decorated
with a blade shroud meant for battle. Though, this warrior named
Raznor faded just as quickly as Razor had turned into him: the
music had now come to a halt. This caused Jackie to grunt in
disapproval in his stupor.
Rising from the throne as the guitar's muscly mass unwrapped;
covering Enquebis' arm and blending into his skin tone.
Condensing to his body perfect as he began to walk towards the
hallway turning to look at the boy. Feeling his eyes, though,
seeing them closed. Turning back to Urdroxa. "Alright. This
way." He said as he made way. These halls needing a chimaeras
nose to navigate; specifically designed by his father. Hence why
the place looked so... empty. Like walking through lit darkness.
The moment they left the room Jackies eyes opening as he pulled
a black 'cigarette' from his jacket. Lighting it between his
lips. A sweet, flower like, smell exiting his nostrils with the
plume of thick, purplish grey, smoke. "I looked n' saw. A pale
horse. N' the name it said on him? Death. N' hell followed with
him."
They were guided to no surprise of Enquebis: the center of the
castle that lead outside to a courtyard. He huffed with a bit of
annoyance as he pushed the big double doors open as the small
boy stood in the center of the courtyard: his body, at least
what could be seen, riddled from head to toe with runic tattoos
that seemed ominous. Almost able to glow or move at times as the
boy simply stood... Silently. Staring down at the ground between
his tattooed feet. Enquebis quick to grumble in anticipation.
"You aren't going to blow the castle to hell, right, Urdroxa?
It's not exactly a snap of the fingers to fix this place when
this kid blows."
At the sound of a voice the black hair, pale, boy slowly looked
up to the two who had just entered his sanctuary. His eyes
seemed hollow and devoid of emotion to an inhuman level. Yet,
they did glimmer of curiosity as they watched the two through
their gold gaze. "Hey, Enquebis… Urdroxa… It's been a while
since it rained..." He looked around at the witling garden
before looking up to the sky full of unhealthy, smoky, clouds. A
very visible cringe forming on Enquebis' face at Rose's
observation.
