A beautiful sun glows vibrantly, illuminating the open field;
giving view to all of nature's splendors. There was a stiff,
cool breeze flowing through the land; giving a brisk and
refreshing feel to this beautiful morning. The beauty of this
day, could only be matched by the wildlife that inhabited it;
deer, rabbit, and birds frolicked freely. A turquoise-blue
river, wound it's power flow through this open field; almost
splitting the land in half. This was a truly beautiful area, one
of peace and one of true majesty. Even with new feelings, a new
body and an almost complete overhaul; Soulless found himself
marveling to the land.
His pure, titanium flesh gave off a bright gleam; the strong
alloy, taking in and absorbing the heat. He could not feel or
enjoy the stiff breeze, he could not feel anymore warmth; he
could barely remember what if felt like anymore. Upon further
inspection of his head, there was a lack of facial features;
lacking any form of expression or emotion. He was not one among
the living anymore, but a being of pure metal and circuitry. He
barely contained any pieces of his old form, outside of the
skeletal structure, his brain and the majority of his beating
heart; he was fortunate to still have what memories he did.
One memory he did not retain, was of the accident that caused
this transformation; the reason for his dramatic transformation.
He was now towering in proportion, having to have grown a foot
in height and due to metal; about a full fifty pounds heavier.
He still retained his ability for moving, with a slight decrease
in full running speed and his knack for tactical thought; but he
had gained considerable physical power. There was no telling if
he had retained his unique gift, but only time would tell that;
he would need to find someone worth testing it out.
"Such a magnificent day and yet, I can not feel the warmth of
the sun; the breeze that cools the land." A soft, mechanical
sigh parts where his mouth once occupied. Two speakers connected
just above his chin gives his words sound; though his artificial
voice back alters his voice. Upon lifting his head a few inches,
a soft crimson glow comes from two flat panels; where his eyes
once sat. Hist footsteps were loud and left slight indents in
the soft earth; making it impossible for anyone to not hear him.
The sounds caused a panic among the wildlife; as they scatter in
every direction. His life had become one of solitude and
indifference; he had to leave his former life and emotions
behind.
"Now I wait..." With that, he begins to scan the area around;
searching for any sign of life.

This land was beautiful; it was all Bella could think as she
looked around at the beauty before her. The sun was shining so
beautifully it caused a smile to dance across her soft pink
lips. Bella tilted her head towards the sky as she soaked in the
suns rays. It may seem odd for someone with such pale sun to be
basking in the sun as she was but she did not care. The greatest
thing for her was that she would not burn no matter how long she
was in the sun. A soft sigh escaped her lips as she looked
around her to notice all the wildlife scattering. She tilted her
head to the side as a confused look flashed across her face. Why
she hadn't noticed that the energy in the area was different
flustered her. She was usually so in tune with nature and all
that was around her. Bella quickly stood to her feet and looked
around her, hoping and waiting to see if she would be able to
spot what or who had just caused all the fuss in the area. She
scanned the area closely as her eyes fell upon the one
individual in the area that could have caused such a
disturbance. She was curious but was not sure weither to
approach him or not. She smiled lightly and wondered if he had
even noticed her to begin with. She wondered if she should stay
put or if she should go up to him and introduce herself. She
allowed a gentle sigh to escape her lips as she stood there
awaiting to see if he would move. The wind started to pick up a
little and it blew her red curly locks out of her hair, her
sundress seemed to flow with every whip of the wind. It never
bothered her when it was windy, she always felt close to her
loved ones then. It was like they were wrapping their arms
around her and giving her a gentle squeeze just to remind her
that they were there. Her mind started to wander as she closed
her eyes and just embraced the wind for a moment, waiting to see
if the mysterious man would make another move. (sorry i am
EXTREMELY rusty. xD )

"Someone is here...." Even his thoughts had a mechanical tone
to them; this was the voice he had now and had gotten somewhat
use to it. He could still see, as though he had a normal set of
eyes, but this scanner allowed him deeper levels of
investigation. As his gaze fell upon this person's frame, he
began to process the information that it provided. Within a few
moments, he knew her hair color, her height, her eyes color and
the fact it was a female; that part was apparent within the
first three seconds.
He could feel a smile try to creep across his lips, but alas;
he quickly remembered there we no lips, or muscle to allow a
smile. A soft sight escapes his speakers, as he turns himself
towards her; beginning to slowly walk in her general direction.
Soulless had no intention to harm her, nor did her want to scare
her; but it was hard to do, with his massive metallic frame and
all. A sense of what he remembered to be excitement, passed
through his mind; being the first positive feeling he had in a
long time.
As he comes upon the river that separates Soulless from this
mystery woman; he begins to scan the area in and around the
river. Looking to the earth below his feet, the earth at the
other side; and the river itself. With this, he judged the
depth, temperature , how much strength it would take and the
angle. The conclusion of his scan occurs, as his legs begin to
bend and his body lowering; harnessing what power he could. With
one massive push, his feet force him into the air and quickly
across the width of the river.
His feet make contact with the earth about two feet past the
other side of the river; causing two, significant indents in the
soft soil. Soulless slowly begins to resume a standing position;
wiping any dirt or grass from his shiny, metallic exterior.
After cleaning what dirt had landed on him, he continued to
reduce the distance between the two slowly. The scanner giving
off a more intense crimson glow, as he continues to analyze and
gaze upon her form. Within a few minutes time, he comes within
ten feet of this woman; halting any further, unnecessary
movement.
"You there. What is your name?" His words were cold and
mechanical, though inquisitive in in intent. "My name is.... My
name was Soulless." These words were quieter in tone, still
giving off no hint of emotion. This was his first chance to make
interaction with the living; since his accident had occurred. He
had wondered if he knew this person, if maybe they had met at
one point; it was pointless though. It would not matter if he
did, or not; all that mattered is how he handled the situation.
"I mean you no harm, if that is of concern to you." The sound of
gears and circuits fill the air, as he nods slightly in an
effort to comfort the random woman.

The soft wind whipped Bella's hair into her face for a moment
and a soft giggle escaped her lips as she opened her eyes and
moved her hair away from her eyes. Her blue eyes sparkled like a
thousand stars when she smiled and for a moment she allowed a
moment of happiness to sweep over her. She had no clue as to why
she was in such a care free and happy mood but since she was she
was going to embrace it to its fullest extent.
She knew there was another person in the realm but at the moment
she didn't even think about it. She started to twirl around in a
circle, her white sundress swaying back and forth like blades of
grass do when its windy. She twirled round and a round for what
seemed like forever but it only lasted a few seconds. Laughter
filled the air as she spun and as she slowly stopped spinning
she allowed herself to take a look up and take in another fresh
breath of air.
Bella looked around once more because the man had disappeared
from where he was just standing but then she felt the earth move
slightly and turned her head to see him standing not to far away
from her. She supposed that he had moved whilst she was dancing
and spinning around. A gentle smile graced her face when he
addressed her and she took a couple more steps towards him.*
"Hello, Souless. My name is Bella, it is a pleasure to meet you"
*she did a slight curtsy before she allowed a moment to take in
his full figure. He was much taller than her and she had not
seen a man quite like him in some time. She heard him say
something about being concerned about him hurting her and she
shook her head* "I do not worry if you will harm me, had I been
afraid or felt any sense of danger I would have fled or put up a
fight already. How are you?" *she stood there, staring up at him
with a gentle smile graced across her face as she awaited a
responce*

"Bella.... Nice to meet you too, Bella." She seemed very calm
and care free; this was different to him, most people had
approached Soulless with a sense of circumspection. The crimson
glow of his scanner begins to glow a shade brighter; as he
continued to study the the woman before him. Though he was
confused, he felt a sense of relief; usually people reacted
extremely to his presence. Surely this would make for an
interesting interaction, he would be able to speak without
concern; without fear of intimidation.
"What brings you here, Bella?" Though his voice lacked
concrete emotion, his words were quizzical; curious to why she
would be in the middle of no where. As his words fade, his legs
bend beneath him and his frame lower down; forcing his legs to
cross under him in a sitting position. This felt uncomfortable,
for the material that he was composed of was not as flexible. A
harmony of metal creaking and circuits moving, could be heard
within his vicinity; his new body not taking to the position
well.
So many things crossed his mind, people he had know and
people he had loved; did they know he was gone? These worries
consumed a portion of his time, having been a repeating topic of
interest. A soft sigh passes through his speakers, as he looks
back up to the woman; still taking in her features and presence.
As his focus becomes more concentrated, a stiff breeze dances
through the air around them. A flash, a flicker of cobalt grey
emanates from his metal surface; as a dim aura begins to dance
and consume his being. This was the energy he had once embraced,
the energy that he had co-existed with; a dance between two
meant to be together.
"Could this be??" His head hangs and begins to look over this
energy; the one had been familiar with. The relationship between
a being of power and their energy, was a thing of true beauty; a
feeling of pure intimacy. This gave him a slither of hope, maybe
things wouldn't be as dismal; as he had once worried, when he
had awakened from his slumber. This resurgence of power allowed
him to experience the sensation of touch again; to a certain
extent. He could feel the soft grass below him and the tinder
breeze; that surrounded him and this free soul before him.

Bella allowed a gentle smile to grace her lips as she heard him
speak to her. She nodded softly to his response as she took in
his presence. She was not really sure how she was not alarmed
like many others probably were to him standing before them. She
had always been so in tune with the world around her and the
people around her as well. She could always tell when she was in
danger, or if someone meant her harm, she could tell when others
were happy or sad. She was "gifted" some would say, others
called her a freak when they realized just how much she knew
exactly how they were feeling. A soft sigh escaped her lips as
her mind had drifted for a second to the thoughts of those who
did not understand her. She shook her head gently and turned her
attention back to the man standing in front of her. Hoping he
had not realized her wandering mind.
She heard his puzzling question about why she was here. A smile
danced across her lips as she looked up at him. She watched as
her gathered himself to sit down and could tell how
uncomfortable he was. A flicker of sadness washed across her
face because she could tell how uncomfortable he was. She shook
her head and continued to smile as she looked around her.*" I
love exploring and being out in the wilderness. I am not really
sure why I am in this exact place but something just drew me to
it. I tend to not question how I feel and just go with it. It
always leads me to something wonderful and beautiful."*she looks
around the place once more until she brings her attention back
to him*" This place certainly is beautiful. What brings you out
here?"
Bella could feel the breeze as it danced between her and
Soulless as his aura seemed to come to light. She was curious as
to why she had not noticed it before. Her eyes were filled with
wonder as she smiled down at him. She kneeled down in front of
him, unsure of how to sit without her dress showing what she was
wearing underneath. She could hear the soft sigh escape his
lips, it was as if he was nto even sure what was happening as
well. Her curiosity got the best of her and she couldn't help
but let the next sentence escape her lips*"Your aura, I cant
believe I am just not seeing it" *she covered her mouth quickly
and looked down at the grass hoping he hadn't heard what she had
said, unsure of what she would be able to say if he had
questions as to how she could even see it. So she just sat
there, playing with the grass, awaiting what he would say next.

His head lifts slightly, allowing his scanner to look over
her facial structure; taking in the positive energy she exuded.
This was truly a magnificent land, true beauty to behold; her
reasoning was understandable. "I see. This land is beyond
description." A slight nod to his head allows him to affirm his
statement; as he goes back to hanging his head slightly. Still
taking in the sudden reemergence of his energy, the new
acquaintance before him and the land around; that Soulless and
Bella inhabited.
Slowly, with a metallic creaking, his right arm rises to his
sitting chest height. His crimson red lit scanner, looking and
examining the aura consuming his being; it felt brand new, but
it was his power from before. He wanted to believe this was a
sign, something to help change his "world is over" mindset;
maybe it was the start of something new, yet something familiar.
It brought life to his metallic shell, a sense of his long
forgotten humanity; it had been so long since he could feel,
smell, taste, hear, or touch.
"Why am I here?" This question caught him off guard, though
he should have expected it; he was not sure he was ready to
answer. For he did not know and wondered how he ended up here.
"I have just been wondering and found myself here... In the
middle of nature." He continued examining himself, while
responding and trying to focus on her inquiry. It was not very
difficult, for she brought herself closer to him; his scanner
not bothering to look back to the being.
Soulless had hoped he was not being rude, it was not
something that usually was of consequence to him; but she was
different. She was a beautiful, kind and free soul; the first
person he had made contact with in a length of time he could not
measure. "I don't remember much of what it was like, to be fully
human. What is it like?" His scanner looked back to her eyes, as
his voice vibrated from his speakers. A melody of sounds came
from him at this point, the metallic joints, the circuits, the
scanner and his robotic voice; making it difficult to hear his
own words. With that, he pushed himself back to a standing
position; the torrent of annoying sounds coming to an end.

Bella could not help but glance around the area once more before
her eyes set upon him once more. She nodded in agreement with
his statement about the land being beyond description*" That it
is, I feel like I know this place like I have been here
before"*A soft sigh escaped the woman's lips as she laid back in
the grass for a moment, her eyes focusing on the different
clouds in the sky*" There is just something about this land that
brings me some type of peace. I don't know if that sounds odd to
you but it might"*she shrugged her shoulder and decided to stand
up again*
She walked to the shore of the water which was only just a
couple feet away from where they were and kneeled down to look
into the water. Her reflection shimmering back at her as the
sunlight hit the water. She had always been self conscious about
how she looked but today, today she felt beautiful and that was
enough for her at the moment. His words reached her ears as she
stood up and walked the couple feet back towards him again*"
Well, I suppose both of us have just wandered into this realm.
It reminds me of home, it looks so much like it but there are
some differences."
Bella's eyes wandered the area as she sighed softly, thinking
about home made her homesick. She hadn't seen or spoken to some
of her children in lord only knows how long and the loss of her
previous child made her whole body shake with sadness for a
moment. Sadness overwhelmed her for just a few moments and her
entire aura flickered between green and blue. Sadness and
jealousy of others who had what she could not have inside her
anymore filled her entire being. For a moment she was lost until
she heard his speak again and her mind was pulled from the
treachorous place of misery and sadness.
He was asking her what it meant to be fully human. She couldn't
even answer that question herself. It had been ages since she
was human herself. She was now an angelus and she had just
hidden her wings from the outside world because many people
lived off of hurting people such as herself*" Well...to be
honest, im not fully human and I have not been for a long time.
But being a human is messy and wonderful all at the same time.
"*a gentle sigh escaped her lips as she looked over at him once
more*" I do not really know how to explain it, it has been so
long. I am sorry, I suppose its not much different than how I am
now. I am sorry if I can not give you a very good answer. *her
smile faded to a soft frown because she felt as if she had
disappointed him*

He nodded slightly in agreement, her statement aligned with
his own; the land was truly a well hidden secret, a gem among
simple stones. Maybe he was meant to be here, maybe he was meant
to meet her here; but only time would tell if it were fate, or
coincidence . The nagging sounds that radiated from him, slowly
begin to cease and halt all together; outside of the dim humming
his scanner and speaker made. It was a major flaw in his new
form, for Soulless now made sound wherever he went; he always
joked to himself, that there would be no place for stealth in
his existence.
With the twinge of aura that danced hypnotically around her,
his scanner began to take notice. Though it could not tell him
where, or what the energy was; it knew there was a new source of
energy near by. He had not noticed her movement to the river
that swept through the land, having been paying predominant
attention to himself; at this point in time. Upon the arrival of
energy, he turned to gaze upon where she stood; taking notice of
the swirling aura engulfing her.
How had he not known she had this energy? Was it a flaw in
his technology, or simply a lack of being human that caused this
slip? He did not know the answer and it caused a sense of
caution. It was in the same form and fashion, that his energy
had reformed; happening almost out of thin air. The hue of the
blue and green was marvelous in sight and spectacle. His scanner
taking another sweep over her body, trying to analyze this new
resurgence of power.
"You are not human?" This revelation caught him by surprise,
he had never met someone like her; anyone from his past that he
could remember, was in fact human or animal. This surely would
become an interesting turn of events, an opportunity for him to
learn; a chance for him to expand his knowledge. "Why do you
apologize? I am the one who assumed." This would be the point
that a smile would take his expression, but that time was long
gone; he could no longer feel even the phantom smile that he
previously could. "If it is not rude of me to ask... What are
you then?"

Bella hadn't paid much attention to the sounds that seemed to
come from the man standing before her. She figured it was just a
part of who he was and had seemed to tune it out or not even
notice it at first. She allowed a gentle sigh to escape her lips
as she tried to focus on just him for a moment so that she could
center and ground herself. Her emotions were everywhere and the
last time that her emotions got out of control it got really
bad.
Her aura changed with her emotions, as did most peoples. Most
people did not have the ability to see their own aura or other
peoples auras. Bella had that talent and she could tell if she
did not calm herself soon things would get out of hand. Taking a
few deep breaths she allowed herself to calm down as she watched
her aura change colors again. This time her aura changed back to
her normal color, a mixture of lavender and blue. Only those who
knew about aura's would know what they all meant. She was not
human, she was angelus and thats where the lavender aura came
from. The blue that surrounded her body was not the same as it
was just moments before, but it was now a soft blue. Meaning she
had managed to calm herself and gain some peace.
His question rang in her ears for a moment and she repeated the
question in her head a couple times. Should she tell him? Could
she trust him? She barely knew him yet he seemed to be
comfortable with her and she with him. She was pretty intuitive
so she felt as if something was wrong or he was a bad person
then she would have been able to tell by now. Sometimes her
emotions got in the way and she got herself in some pretty
sticky situations because she was not paying close enough
attention.* "I am an angelus, an angel if you must. My wings are
hidden very well so others cannot see. If you have any questions
I can answer them to the best of my ability" *she decided to sit
on a nearby rock, a gentle smile danced across her lips as she
awaited the questions that he may have* "
