Strange world? Was knowledge of this "Avatar" really so common
here that her ignorance of it insinuated she was from a whole
different WORLD? She suddenly felt very self conscious, happily
welcoming the change of subject.
The Avatar sounded like some sort of folktale if Calia were to
give her own opinion. But given Nitara's apparent disdain for
this person, Calia had to assume they were more than just a
children's story. A bridge between worlds that's reincarnated
after death... Interesting.
"So that beam of light I came through was the portal between the
Human and Spirit worlds? What on earth is it doing in the middle
of a huge city like that?"
She heard the woman grumbling something to her Cat-Deer, but
couldn't make it out. She also made no effort to pry. When the
woman asked if she had anything belonging to the culprit, Calia
pried a small knife from her boot, and handed it to her.
"He dropped this the last time we fought. We were following the
scent but I believe we got mixed up somewhere along the way. So
many new scents and sights."
Little did Calia know, that she wasn't anywehre near the right
path! Even so, she continued onward, searching for the man with
whom she shared her secrets...

Nitara took the knife from the girl and focused on the energies
within it. A white hot rage flew washed over her body causing
her to briefly sway. Images of her handlers invading her
thoughts.
'Enter the void..' she prayed. Steadying her mind.
"Such powerful chi left a heavy print on the world." she
surmised. In her mind's eye, a path of gold cut through The
Wilds and out into the Earth Kingdom forests. "A male, silver
strands of hair. I see him attempting to flee." she began. "He
hides in alone in a cave. In the Earth Kingdom." Kaze picks up
speed following some invisible path. "I will lead you to him.
You'd have found yourself lost to the fog spirit were i not with
you."

Calia didn't know what Nitara planned to do with the knife. Cat
Deer weren't exactly known for their stellar sense of smell, or
tracking abilities. She watched closely as the woman focused
intently on something within the weapon. Listening, as if the
Spirits were speaking to her! It was weird. Back home, humans
and Spirits could barely cohabitate together. But here, they
seemed to have something of a cooperative relationship!
Her eyes widened when the Airbender described her target, as if
she could see him plain as day! What power did she possess!?
Clearly it was more than simply bending! Surely no Lion Turtle
had given her that kind of skill!
"Hiding in a cave?" She asked. "That doesn't sound like him..."
But then, they had never been in a situation such as this one.
Their world had turned upside down, and there was really no
telling what the right thing to do was...Regardless, after that
display, she had complete faith in Nitara's abilities, and
followed closely, Xanther taking off after the creature.
