I was very passionate about my resting spots and I knew he would
do it . He had already did it twice . The last time we actually
got into a fist fight over it (which I one ) but it wouldn't
stop him from doing it again . The hokage approve of his actions
which gave him more lead way and making my situation worst . "
you became more annoy soon as they gave you that promotion. " He
knew how to get under my skin and he use it to his advantage
every frickin time .
I obey his command and jumped from the tree . I was still
feeling the effects of last night training but a little
stretching could fix it in a heart beat . i grab my book bag and
begin to walk towards the village entrance .
Kara was already there . Why they so eager for the mission? All
we doing is guard patrol . It's not like we haven't done it
before . The only difference is it's out of the village . I
could use this to my advantage and I was . While there minds
where in the mission I was thinking of was to get my way out of
day guard and walking .

The rail car slammed to a holt with such suddence, that she was
nearly lifted out of her seat. If it had not been for her sharp
reflexes, her face would have collided with the seat in front of
her. She blinked away traces of her earlier slumber and glanced
out of the small, fractured window to her left. Hidden Leaf's
landscape was much more inviting than the hot, tan sand that
seemingly went on for eternity. Still, homesickness twisted her
gut.
The others of her group led the way to the exit. Without
bothering to see where they were headed, she ducked into the
crowd, vanishing from the spot. She knew that they were expected
to play babysitter, but she was not quite ready to begin her
job. Instead, she would familiarize herself with their
surroundings first. Copious plants paved the way down a
well-traveled path, twisting in through trees whose branches
hung low enough that warranted caution.
Following the path, she passed a few villagers along the way.
Most ignored her. The few that did notice her, exchange minimal
pleasantries as they walked passed her.
Eventually, the path thinned and forked, guiding her out of the
huddle of trees and onto a main route that led into the main
parts of the village. Her stark white hair stuck out like a sore
thumb in the crowd. Without any particular direction, she
continued to walk, absorbing her environment.

Kara waited atop the Hokage's building as instructed. Surely it
would take Raidon longer to arrive since he would have to keep
an eye on Gin. The brother's had just arrived when the caravan
carrying the Feudal Lord arrived in the front of the Hokage's
mansion. It looked like she wouldn't have any more time to tease
Raidon. "You ready guys?" She asked, awaiting Raidon's lead.

Raidon knew Gin hadn't been listening. It was evident when he
tried to head to the Village Gate instead of back to the
Hokage's mansion as instructed. It made Raidon worry a bit. Gin
was lazy, but he wasn't incompetent. When he was given a
mission, he took it seriously, and he executed it well. If his
head wasn't in the game and they hadn't even started yet, he
could end up being the weak link in their formation.
The twins had just arrived on the roof when the Feudal Lord's
caravan arrived at the door. "Alright guys. Let's do this."
Raidon understood his role as Captain. It was his job to direct
the mission in the direction it should go, not to dictate the
actions of his comrades. He had to have faith in their
abilities, as Raijuta Sensei had always done for them.
They arrived on the ground and Raidon stepped forward to meet
the Feudal Lord's attendant. He gave a traditional salute, his
fist over his heart, meeting with the material of his Chunin
vest. "I'm Uchiha Raidon. This is Uchiha Gin, and Shin Kara.
We'll be serving Guard duty for the Feudal Lord for the duration
of your time in the Hidden Leaf."
After introductions were exchanged, Raidon went on to explain
how things were to take place from there. "The Feudal Lord of
Wind will be meeting with his Guard Detail at the front gate,
and then making his way here. All of us will make our way to the
Conference room together. It will be the responsibility of both
guard details to ensure the success of negotiations, but we will
be directly responsible for the safety of the Feudal Lord of
Fire. It's my hope that we'll all be able to work well
together."

To be completely honest with myself I didn't pay one bit
attention to the mission brief what so ever . I been having
these flashbacks about the chuunin exam . I know I did just
enough to get us to the final portion and gave up before the
fight even started but it made me think about one thing . Did I
really want to be a ninja ? I never had the passion for it like
raidon did . He took it so seriously, I seen it as a way get the
house more . But i started to lose care for it . I mumble under
my breath "this might be my last misssion "
For a good minute I had to follow Raidon and listen to
everything so I would know the mission at hand . It was bad
enough Raidon knew that I didn't know but I didn't want to get
yelled at by Kara too .
I stayed quiet and awake for a good while gathering everything I
could get by just listening to Raidon spoke to the feudal lord .
I started to wonder . "If the feudal lord already had body
guards from the sand , why are we guarding him also? Shouldn't
we be escorting instead?. That would make more sense but my rank
doesn't require me to think .
And to think i got the wrong travel kit for nothing . All we was
going to do was walk around with a old man that was going to
talk about thinks he seen but never been in a day in his life .

Already I wanted this mission to be over so I can get back to
dreaming

Eventually, she found her group which had already found the
lord's caravan and were readying to travel. Akito met her gaze
and held it steadily, relaying a message that only she could
decipher. Instead of acknowledging it, she pretended not to have
comprehended it and looked around at the people around them. She
knew Akito would be frustrated with her disappearance, but she
didn't care. He could play leader all he wanted to, she refused
to be ruled by him.
The Feudal Lord introduced himself to them and in turn, Akito
have the man their names. Once the social protocol nonsense was
over, they began hatching a plan- or rather, Akito issued
commands.
Having enough forethought to give her a task that would not
entail socializing, Akito have her the daunting task of slowly
following their flank as they made their way to the meeting
place. It wasn't long until they arrived at the gates. The job
had been just as uneventful thus far as she had feared it would
be.
The guards there began conversing with the feudal lord. One of
the guards, an overzealous boy, felt the need to express his
fandom for her group- especially for Akito. He spoke of his
admiration of their skills. She tuned him out and glanced around
them.
Wasn't the meeting starting soon?
"And you," said the guard, taking a step toward her. "It's
unbel- I just can't..."
She regarded him with a raised brow. The boy was barely over her
age. Perhaps, he wasn't. She was terrible reading people, much
less figuring out their age.
Suddenly, his hand reached out to touch her and her immediate
reaction was to dismember, but fortunately, common sense took
over before she ended the boy's young career. His hand rested on
her arm.
"Nio," called another guard, looking at the two with concern.
Maybe he was worried his friend would make a fool of himself or
maybe he recognized the murderous look in her eyes. Either way,
he got his friend to let go.
"Ready everyone?" Akito asked, looking at her pointedly.
Without answering, she started forth, lingering behind the
Feudal Lord as they went.

Kara was impressed with how on top of things Raidon was. He had
only recently been promoted and it already seemed like he would
make a great Captain! She was worried about Gin though. He had
always been a bit distant. She was used to that. But lately it
just seemed like his heart wasn't in it. She decided she would
talk to him when she got the chance.
It didn't take long for the Feudal Lord of Wind to arrive with
his Caravan. Kara didn't like Feudal Lords. In her eyes, they
were just a bunch of stuffy old men who had no business
dictating the affairs of Shinobi. That was what the five Kage
were for!
But something else caught Kara's eye as well! The team that was
guarding the Feudal Lord... It was Rikona's team! A small grin
snuck onto the girls face and she had to fight the urge to poke
Raidon in his side!
Naturally, Kara was the first to speak up "Hi Rikona-san" she
said. She waved to her teammates, who she hasn't gotten to
meet in the exams and introduced herself. "So i guess we're all
working together this time around! " she thought back to when
she was telling Rikona that they would be allies once the exams
were over, content with the feeling that she had been right.
"So what do you guys think? One team inside and one outside?"

It didn't take long for the second caravan to arrive. Raidon
stood proud as it approached, but as it got closer it became
apparent who was guarding the Feudal Lord of Wind. For only a
second, surprise played on Raidon's face, as he saw Rikona
approaching with the others. Her entire team had been promoted
to Chunin! That was nearly unheard of! They were truly
impressive. Especially the red headed boy, Akito, who was the
only shinobi to best Raidon in the exams.
Of course Kara was the first to speak up. She was always so
excitable! Raidon didn't stop her though, until she made her
suggestion. "That isn't going to work." He said, stepping
forward. He looked over the three members of the team from the
Sand. "Which one of you is the Captain?" He asked. Once it had
been confirmed that Akito was in charge, as expected, He stepped
forward.
"Between our two teams, our collective mission is to ensure that
negotiations between the Feudal Lords goes by without a hitch.
But individually, our missions are to protect our respective
Feudal Lords. It would be unwise for either team to allow the
other to go unchecked. Wouldn't you agree, Akito?"
From what Raidon had learned about Akito in the exams, ws he
wasn't one to take unnecessary risks, or trust anyone outside of
his own circle. He was sure he would be in agreement.
"This is the main entrance to the building. Obviously a guard
will have to be stationed there. But we can't ignore the
posibility that an assassin could make their way into the
building by breaking in through a window. So a second guard will
need to be stationed in the hallways surrounding the conference
room. A third guard will be placed on the roof to cover the
second entrance, as well as keep an eye on the perimeter of the
building. Each guard detail will be composed of one member of
each team."
His eyes settled on each member of both teams. "Does anyone have
any objections to this plan?"

When the two teams had joined up, Rikona immediately noticed the
girl, Kara, and Raidon. Her gaze strayed to a random place in
the distance with every intention of ignoring everyone and
everything, until the girl called out her name. Kara's
enthusiasm, as admirable as it was considering that they were
working and there was nothing in babysitting worth being excited
about, was misplaced. No one said Rikona's name with eagerness,
much less happily. There was a twinge of regret for having led
the girl on to believe that they were on first name basis, much
less capable of conversing so freely. However easy it was to
like the girl, it suited Rikona to remain in the background
unnoticed. Like some broken glass vase kept around for
elimination of space, tucked into the back row where eyes only
indirectly wandered.
Rikona glanced at the girl, her liquid, frigid gaze considering
her before she responded with the briefest of nods. The gesture
could have been perceived as rude,but for Rikona, it was a lot.
After Raidon had given out the plan, Akito assigned them all
their positions. Of course he picked the conference room for
himself. Then, he assigned her the roof, leaving Temus to watch
the door.
Along the way, she stayed behind the group as she had before.
Although her expression remained indecipherable, the direction
of her gaze was telling. She was aware of their surroundings, up
to the plants and various footprints left behind by those
powering forward in front of her.
Once they had arrived at the place, she left them to escort the
officials, to find the way to the roof. A few minutes later, she
found herself on it, overlooking the area from the ledge of the
balcony there.

Both teams had impressive Captains. That was for certain. Raidon
put together the plan for the combined guard teams, and Akito
rounded it out. It seemed like the best setup. Though Kara had a
feeling Raidon wouldn't like the fact that Akito placed himself
right outside the Conference room. He would undoubtedly want her
to keep an eye on the Team Captain from the Sand. Before the
teams split up, she made her way over to Gin, and placed a hand
on his shoulder. "If you stay focused, I'll make sure you get
extra breaks." She whispered in his ear, before winking and
running off to join Akito on the inside.
The conference room was located on the second floor of the
circular building. In fact, it was the only room on the second
floor. The hallway surrounding the conference room was about
three yards across, and ran all the way around the circular
room. There was only one way in or out of the room, but it was
lined with windows. There were four windows around the outside
of the hallway. Kara had been given the least attractive area to
guard.
She sighed as she leaned against the wall next to the Conference
Room door. "How long to you think negotiations will take?" She
asked her new partner. She wasn't the type to sit in silence,
even if she was in the company of strangers.
