"We're here, we're finally here!" Iris stood at the entrance to
Viridian City, stopping in awe as she felt her heart pounding in
her chest with...determination. She could only feel glee for a
moment longer before remembering her first and foremost
priority. "Okay. Let's get you to a Pokemon Center, you did
great, but I bet you'd feel better nice and fresh and so would
Pidgey!" Rushing through the small crowds, sending her apologies
to any she bumped into, Iris was an enthusiastic blue bullet as
she hustled into the Pokemon Center's doors, stopping at the
desk of the infamous Nurse Joy she'd heard so much about in the
forums she'd looked at online and goodness she was just as cute
and pretty as she'd heard!! "H-Hello, could you..could you heal
my Pokemon please?" Placing the Pokeball containing Pidgey onto
the desk, Iris gently laid Squirtle on his feet on the ground
and produced her ball, offering an apologetic smile as he seemed
to nod grudgingly with agreement at going back within the ball.
The kind and gracious Nurse took her Pokemon and Iris went to
take a seat to wait patiently, skimming through her Pokedex for
a few minutes as she decided what their plan for the day would
be. "It'd be a waste to leave so quickly...we should take some
time to look around."

The nifty thing about her Pokedex that she considered extremely
useful was its ability to record her Pokemons' current status at
almost all times; Pokemon Centers excluded since it wasn't very
necessary to waste the time checking the status of a Pokemon
that was currently being cured of all status effects. Tapping
the icon that said "PARTY" in all caps, Iris studied her
Squirtle's current state in terms of his abilities and his
assorted statistics and directed herself to his abilities. It
seemed Squirtle only had Tackle for now, but he seemed extremely
close to getting Water Gun; his current abilities showed he had
only Tackle and Tail Whip available and this left her wondering
what her Pidgey possessed. Iris would have to give him a scan
after Nurse Joy was done with him.
With her pastel blue nails tapping across the touchscreen, Iris
flicked through a map and traced the tip of her finger along the
road that led out of Viridian City. If the forum posts she'd
read were correct, Iris was looking forward to a full day in the
forest...the idea was needlessly frightening, but at least she
wouldn't be alone. "So we take our time through here...maybe
we'll stumble upon something cool! Hmn...I'll need to stock up a
bit more if that's the case. A full day and a night out
there...there's bound to be a lot of Pokemon and it'll help to
let my Pokemon get some experience for sure!" Iris talked to
herself out loud as if it were normal and she got a few slight
shifts of eyes that immediately became dismissive after, it
wasn't the oddest thing anyone had seen by any means. After
finishing mapping out the nearest route that could take them to
Pewter City, Iris heard her name announced from the ever angelic
Nurse Joy and she sat up immediately with a swift click of the
cover's clasp on her Pokedex. "Ah, yes that's me!"
Iris stood outside of the Pokemon center with both her Pokeballs
stowed away snuggly within her backpack. On her way out of the
Pokemon Center, Iris had picked up a brochure that held the
city's personal map and she looked at all the sights and stores
nearby; it was much bigger than Pallet Town ever was and she
felt a little overwhelmed at the expanse of the area. "Well..."
Despite the pleasantness that came from the idea of shopping at
all these new stores, Iris didn't have the funds to splurge as
she pleased. First thing that was absolutely necessary was
preparing for the full day in the forest! "So I take a left
here...then heaaaad...right." Inside of the item store, Iris
quickly filled the complimentary basket at the entrance with a
few things. Stocking up, she purchased 2 more Potions, 4 more
stores of food, 2 more Pokeballs, and from the knowledge she'd
gathered online she'd decided buying at least 3 Antidotes. Thank
goodness her Pokedex held her transferable funds! Her next stop
was a camping store that was in the town seeing as how it was
common knowledge that you'd have to camp to make your way to the
next city; Iris quickly bought a sleeping bag for 200 PC.
Iris took a break at one of the town's many parks, seated on a
bench as she scrounged through her backpack for her Pokeballs.
First, Iris released Squirtle who looked spectacularly gleaming
after his stay in the Pokemon Center. "Do you feel better now?
Thanks for bearing through that long walk." Squirtle nodded in
affirmation, releasing a yawn as if it'd woke up from a really
long sleep before noticing where they were. Exclaiming in
surprise, awe, and joy, Iris watched as her frolicking Pokemon
dropped that rough and tough demeanor to head towards one of the
many installations that both Pokemon and child could play on
alike; the structure looked to be shaped like Starmie, but was
actually a merry-go-round!
Next up was her first encounter with her Pidgey that wasn't it
trying to peck her to death in vain. Tossing the small ball
upwards with a flash of red light following, the small Pidgey
let out a cry while it spread its wings midair, fluttering them
briefly as it glided back down to the ground with a hop and a
skip following as it situated itself against the foreign grass.
"A-Ah..hello!" The bird Pokemon looked up for a moment before a
slight look of recognition crossed over its face. It's
expression seemed to be permanently frustrated, but from all the
pictures online she'd seen of Pidgey, that's just how they
looked. "Ahah...you uh, you probably didn't expect to be here."
The Pidgey chirped in agreement as it hopped across the ground,
pecking at things she couldn't see and it threw her off how
content it seemed to be. "You're...not angry, are you? I do feel
bad for having taken you from your home the way I did..." The
bird looked up, its head twisting from side to side quickly
before fluttering its wings in a way she could only take as
dismissive. So it wasn't angry she'd practically abducted it
from its own home?...Well, if that was the case, there was no
need in prodding the situation further. "Well...so long as
you're happy! N-now hold still please!" Taking out her Pokedex,
Iris held it slightly in front of the Pidgey that attempted to
peck at the device curiously and she scanned him quickly. "So
let's see what you're made of then!"
Her Pokedex showed her Pidgey was just slightly above her
Squirtle's experience and it'd already known Sand Attack! How
useful! "Ahh...that's so cool. I've never gotten to do this with
the Pokedex before..." Beside herself with her excitement and
glee, her Pidgey took off above the park to look about in its
curious nature, Iris sighed happily as she looked at her "PARTY"
menu once again. Seeing her slowly growing family of Pokemon
that already had two members...it made her heart soar as high as
her Pidgey did in the sky!!
Letting them be in the park as they wished, Iris began to
organize her bag a little bit more. The sleeping bag folded
nicely and was placed in the bottom, making it easier to stack
the canisters and Pokeballs on top. Noticing the food she'd
gathered and seeing how it was pretty much lunchtime...Iris took
out two stores of food for her Pokemon. "Pidgey, Squirtle! I
hate to interrupt you, but are you hungry at all?" Squirtle
dropped from the merry-go-round he was on, spinning slightly
while his usual blue hue took on a slight green shade instead
and Pidgey flew down in a graceful dive that landed next to her
on the bench. In her hands she held two packages of food, small
brown pellets in neatly packaged pouches and she opened them
both before realizing that she didn't have any bowls. "Ohh...oh
goodness, I'm sorry." Sighing slightly at her incompetence,
realizing how unprepared she actually was even after all these
years, Iris's head hung low in dejection for a moment before
Pidgey began to plunge its head into the small pouch she held in
her hand. "Ah..ahh! Don't eat so fast, you'll get sick!" In one
hand the food was being ravenously devoured and hesitantly she
held out the other to Squirtle, to which he took it from her and
ate it himself. Squirtle still had to pride himself on doing
things without her help, he didn't need to use her hand like
that shameless Pidgey!
It was moments like these that she was already beginning to
enjoy and look forward to more than anything. In the span of a
day, Iris was already beginning to live the dream she'd been
wishing for for years. A warm evening at the park with
companions that she'd never had before. Was this the feeling
that love brought on?

I was in the west path training Vulpix . She was a strong one .
Stubborn at first when i was issued her but over the weeks we
got use to each other and she obey. I was looking for a flying
type with an attitude but all we kept running into was pidgey's
and i dont like pidgey's . Apparently Vulpix didnt like them
either . She growl every time she seen one and they run away in
fear .. There was one or two brave once that stayed and fight
but once they got hit by her ember they layed there motionless .
Not dead but in critical condition.
Then a Nidoran female type came across and tackle my vulpix . I
stared at its eyes as she stood ground against vulpix . Vulpix
was furious that she got tackle like that and was waiting on the
order to use what ever i told her . Mhmmmm I thought to myself
,debating about this pokemon . I stared at it for a few more
seconds til i made my decision .
Vulpix use tailwhip, Nidoran reply with tackle and knock Vulpix
down again .. "Use tailwhip again " And the same thing happen
again .Nidoran use tackle but this time she knock her farther
away .. " I see now ,Vulpix use tailwhip one more time .. "
Vulpix use tail whip and Nidoran responded with tackle ."Now
vulpix use emeber " Vulpix got the order and quickly responded
almost to perfection . The attack ember knocked Nidoran down and
show some burn marks own her . She manage to stand up but barely
. But her eyes still show fight in it .. Vulpix was ready to
finish the job with another ember . I threw a pokeball at it.
Nidoran try to escape but from weaking its stats by tailwhip and
that counter even with her fighting spirit her body each its
limit . The pokeball stop shaking confirming she was now my
pokemon .
Out of no where i got a text. " I read the orders that where
given to me . I didnt even repond to it instead I pointed my
pokeball towards Vulpix and returned her to it.Then i looked at
the new addition to my teams pokeball and headed to the pokemon
center .

To me it was just a short walk to the pokemon center. I finally
arrive and waited patiently for my pokemon to be seem . I wanted
to just get Nidoran cleared but i didn't see why not get vulpix
checked out as well .. I had the time to spare ,But i really
wanted to get back to training . Nidoran had a lot of catching
up to do to even be on even grounds with Vulpix . After a couple
of minutes and some trainers before me nurse joy finally got to
see my two pokemon . She explain that Vulpix was tired and all
she needed was some rest and something to eat and i could pick
her up in two hours .. But Nidoran needed and day to fully
recover .I didn't really want to hear that from her. But if that
what she order i wasnt going to go against it .. My eyes gave
her a glare before i respond ,"Just take care of them ,Ill be
back later"
I would need supplies for this ask ahead. 5Energy drinks,
7Protein bars , 4 potions, 2 Pokeballs and 3antidotes. On the
way back i would see if i could find some of those berries
Vulpix like so much . I pulled out the pokedex , not only it
kept info on every pokemon i have seen so far but also it had a
blueprint on every city and locations of stores and pokemon
center.It was my first battle with Vulpix and we barely won it
.She was so suborn back then. It took me a little longer then i
wanted to but eventually i found the item store . The items i
needed was at a reasonable price and the fact im not a big
spender gave me the ability to save. Even through i had a
personal account from team rocket i never use it . While waiting
in line i view a lot of trainers getting supplies also . I could
tell they where new trainers by the way they acted . There
reaction of seeing a potion for the first time or a antidote .
Some minutes pass by before i could pay for the items i
needed.The cashier explain the total price of 895pc . She offer
me a bag but i had my back pack on me and it had more then
enough room to hold everything. I kinda wish they had an escape
rope , hopefully ill be able to find some before going to MT
Moon . If not i always found a way to manage .
Leaving the item store i headed back to the Pokemon center and
rested until my Vulpix was cleared

"Alright, alright, that's enough now, you'll get all tubby."
Iris laughed as she struggled to take back the bag that Pidgey's
head was stuffed deep inside while tugging the one Squirtle held
to as well. When Pidgey pulled back, chirping in disbelief as
she took it away, Iris was careful to deposit the leftovers from
both her Pokemon inside of her bag, zipping up the pink
container and tugging it over her shoulders. "Well, now that
you're all full, do you think you're ready to go now? We've got
a long few days ahead of us if we want to make it to Mt. Moon!"
Letting out an exclamation as she stood, Iris remembered the
Pokeballs she'd left on the ground beside her. Picking them up,
Iris gave a questioning look to her companions, Squirtle
immediately turning down the offer and Pidgey perched with a
hook of its talons into her arm; the pain was sharp at first and
letting out a wince that Pidgey seemed to notice allowed it to
slightly ease its hold just enough for it to not fall off.
"Well, if you're both sure...but I'm not carrying you all the
way again, Squirtle! You're heavy!" Her Pokemon puffed its chest
out at the ridiculous claim, there was no way something as
muscular and lean as it could weigh much and Iris had to listen
to the small turtle's rant all the way down the road. Iris
hadn't been paying attention as she looked towards the
vicariously arguing Pokemon, smiling dumbly the whole time while
walking towards the path that led down the center of the city
towards the entrance of Viridian Forest, passing just by the
entrance of the Pokemon Center. It was only with the frantic and
shrill cawing of her Pidgey that she finally look forward, only
for it to be a tad too late as she crashed in to someone.
Falling back with a sheer cry, Pidgey flapping wildly as it
detached from her shoulder, Iris narrowly avoided collapsing on
top of her Squirtle as she fell onto her back, wincing at the
sharp sting she felt in her tailbone at the fall. "Ahh...ow ow
ow...I'm really sorry, I wasn't watching where I was going..."
Wincing still and rubbing her back, Iris looked to the young man
she'd collided with, apologizing once more as she hastily stood
up and offered her hand out to the stranger. "Oh gosh, I'm
really sorry, you aren't hurt are you?"

Rosey was so proud of herself for catching her first pokemon.
Eevee didn't seem to want to be in the pokeball, so she allowed
her to walk. Along the way Zoran had some battles. As they
walked Lucky warmed up to Coal, she would tug on his tail,
playfully tackling him and then cuddling him. She thought it was
so adorable to watch the banter between these two. When a
battle came up though Lucky was ready to take charge. Against a
Spearow. But sadly Eevee fainted in battle due to her injuries.
She was forced to throw out Pidgey, who didn't obey very much at
all. Eventually she managed to get Pidgey to attack, and beat
Spearow but both of her pokemon were badly injured. She ended
up using potions on both of them but left them both in pokeballs
for the rest of the trip. When she finally got to Viridian City
she was exhausted. But Zoran's suggestion was easily agreeable.
She needed to get her pokemon fixed up.
Just as they were about to enter a girl came up behind them,
scared the crap out of Rosey at first. Her pokemon were not in
any shape to battle at the moment. She turned to greet the girl
who tripped. "Woah are you okay?" She almost reached out to help
her, but she seemed to stable herself. "Hey there, I'm Rosey,
yeah we are going to the Pokemon Center, would you like to join
us?" Another traveling companion? This was great!
When they got to the Pokemon center the staff was so agreeable
and nice! They took her pokemon in to fix them up and offered
both complementary lodging and a continental meal. She turned to
Zoran a sad smile. "Well, I guess this means the end of our trip
right?" She looked to the girl and smiled to her as well. "It
was so nice to meet you! It feels all too soon to part!" She
really didn't want to. But she didn't want to burden them
either. "Well hey, I want to go to the shops around here.
Perhaps you both would like to join me? I'm really not ready to
say goodbye to either of you yet! It feels all too soon!" She
hoped they would be okay with it. Sometimes being a trainer was
a lonely occupation, but sometimes you made great friends along
the way. Maybe these two would! Even if they were both older
than her, and probably far more capable than she was.

Clumsy , The first thing that came to mind when the women ran
into me. She was really apologetic even though she was the one
on the ground and i stood there like nothing really happen .
Personally i would have offered to assist her up but by the time
the idea even cross my mind she was already up offering her hand
.. i reach out and shook it with a firm grip."I should be the
one asking if your ok , you fell on the ground not me .By the
way my name is Bain . It was better just to keep it simple and
swift as possible ,"and your name might be '? I asked with good
intention
As i awaited for a answer my eyes cross her pidgey , I hated
pidgey but kept a calm look and focus on the girl and her
squirtal . Nurse joy must of saw me through the window door and
personally deliver my valpix with her pokeball next to her
.."You could of placed her in her pokeball. She was being
stubborn , nurse joy said with a sad face .."I figure as much "
I lookd at vulpix with a sigh and just reply .. "Ow well , i
guess she wanted some fresh air before we go back to train.. How
my new addition hold up..Nurse joy explain that my vulpix should
of held back but Nidoran (Female) would be good by tomorrow
.Great , I'll take her off your hands and being heading back out
to train .. I retrieve her and place the pokeball in my pocket .

Zoran turned his head when he heard the voice behind him. There
was a girl there, who seemingly appeared out of nowhere! Rosey
was the one who answered her question, and offered for her to
join them, but Coal walked up to her and yelped happily, as if
he was seeing an old friend! "Looks like he likes you!" Zoran
said with a smile. Now that he took the time to notice, she was
cute! The little guy had good taste! "I'm Zoran. This is my
partner, Coal. Nice to meet you!" He held out his hand to shake
as well.
It didn't take long for them to arrive at the Pokemon Center and
get their Pokemon treated. Once that was taken care of, they sat
in the lobby to discuss their next move. It seemed Rosey was
intent on keeping the group together. It wasn't that Zoran
disapproved, but he had something he wanted to look into first.
After hearing her proposal, he smiled and shook his head. "I
actually want to go see the gate to the Indigo Plateau where the
Pokemon League Tournament is held. But if you're headed to
Pewter City, I'd be glad to continue traveling with you! I'm
leaving in the morning. How about we meet here at 9? He looked
to each of his would be companions for acceptance or denial of
his suggestion, then once they came to a concensus, he took the
ball containing Coal, and headed off, offering one final glance
to Milly before taking off to the West.
Zoran had read all about the Indigo Plateau at the Academy. No
one was allowed inside the gate without at least 8 Gym badges.
But even to see the gate would be amazing! It was about an
hour's walk toward the gate, but not even twenty minutes had
passed, when he ran into two guards. "No one beyond this point
without 8 Gym badges." Zoran was thrown off by this turn of
events! He never thought he wouldn't be allowed to even APPROACH
the gate! "But it's not even time for the Pokemon League yet! I
can't even go to look at the Gate?" No response.
In frustration, Zoran turned back toward town, sulking to
himself as he walked. He was so absorbed in his disappointment
that he was startled, when a Nidoran male jumped out at him from
seemingly nowhere! At first, he wasn't even willing to battle,
but then he recalled the Pidgey that Rosey caught along the way.
He needed to focus on getting stronger!
He released Coal from his Pokeball, and sent him on the attack.
"Tail Whip!" he commanded. The attack came so quickly that the
little Nidoran had no hope of halting it. Not only that, but the
flame on the tip of Charmanders tail seemed to grow! possibly
doing a bit of additional damage! Nidoran didn't back down
though. He countered with a Tackle, which did additional damage
due to the barbs on his back! "Be careful!" Zoran called out.
"His body is covered in spikes! Try a Scratch attack! Coal's
aim and speed had been improving due to all of it's battling. It
caught Nidoran right in the side, despite the little rodents
attempt to jump out of the way. Realizing it was outclassed,
Nidoran attempted to turn and run. "Not this time!" Zoran
yelled, throwing a Pokeball at the purple rodent. In a flash of
red light, it was absorbed into the device. It put up a fight
trying to escape, but in the end, the ball quit moving,
indicating that it's capture had been successful! "Alright!"
Zoran called out! "Great job Coal!" With a newfound smile, and a
newfound friend, they began on their way back toward town...

Milly smoothed out her blouse and straightened her jacket. The
blush on her face was still evident, but nothing like it was.
"Rosey," she repeated for memory's sake. "Yes, I'm fine, thanks.
My name is Milly."
She answered the other girl's next question with a large smile
and eager nod. It would be great to travel with someone, even
though she also craved alone time to bond with Charming.
Before she could utter another sound, a Charmander greeted her.
She recalled Professor Oak mentioning a charmander with an
unique color. She kneeled down, smiling to herself, and patted
him gently on the head.
"Nice to meet you too," she giggled, speaking to both the
Pokemon and his trainer.
She took his hand into hers and timidly shook it with a cold,
and slightly clammy, touch. The boy looked about her age, but
she could not guess peoples' ages well.
In any case, the boy was attractive, but she did not allow
herself to become distracted.
Once they had reached the center, Rosey suggested they shop
together. Zoran apologetically declined as did Milly after him.
"Actually, I am pretty worn out, but I'll see you two tomorrow,"
she said. "It was great to meet you guys and thanks for allowing
me to tag along."
She was tired, but she was also worn out mentally. It had been
an exciting, but semi-stressful day.
After a verbal farewell, Milly left and ventured out away from
as many people as possible as she clung to her pokeball. Once
she found a secluded spot in a small garden, she stopped and sat
on a makeshift concrete bench.
She yawned and watched the clouds above as her fingers stroked
the shell that protected her Charming, thoughtfully.
