A'Naili's phone rang four times before going to voicemail.
Sachiel wasn't surprised. He knew she was busy, and would be
flying out to Atlanta the next day. But he really had no one
else to turn to! he sighed as he decided to leave her a
voicemail.
"Hey Naili. I know you've got a lot going on right now. Probably
packing your sixth bag for your flight tomorrow, but I could
really use you right now. I'll be in your neck of the woods
soon. Give me a call back when you get this..."
He hung up then, but couldn't help but feel like he hadn't said
enough. He really didn't want to explain things over the phone
anyway. He just hoped she got back in touch with him before
leaving...

Ugh! This was so damned annoying! Which shoes to bring? In which
bag?! To go with which dress and skirt?! This was the problem
that A'Nailiah was having. She would nearly rip her glacial blue
hair out in frustration; she had to have her outfits just right.
Especially going to a place like Atlanta. Sighing, she chose to
give up for the moment, she could return to her items later.
Going to the kitchen to gather herself something to drink,
Nailiah noticed the light on her phone flashing. Picking it up,
she sighed, knowing that she had missed Sachiel's call. She
didn't even check the message and went straight to calling him;
she hoped that he was okay. This was surely an odd time for him
to be calling.

Sachiel was just walking out the door when Naili called him
back. "Hey Naili." He said, as he locked his door and headed out
to his car. "You mind if I stop by for a bit? I could really use
one of our talks. I'll help you pack and order pizza!" He knew
he didn't have to bribe her, but he liked to make her excited
about things. Some things just never changed, it seemed...
It would take about 25 minutes for Sach to drive to Naili's
place. He missed when they lived closer, but with careers taking
off in different directions, he was lucky she was still this
close! A knock on the door, and the party would begin!

"Uh oh.." Naili breathed over her end of the phone when Sachiel
revealed that he was in need of 'one of their talks'. At this
point, she knew it was something that was bothering him and he
needed to confide in her. She loved talking to him, and after
all of these years together, she could only assume he needed
just that. Her mind quickly wondered, however, when he mentioned
pizza! "Of course you can! Any time you want, just come over!"
She said, before a slight pause. . . . . .
"Ya know. . . Buffalo wing wing pizza does sound REALLY good!"
She giggled before continuing. "I'll just throw some clothes on
while you're on your way. "

When Sachiel arrived, he didn't bother ringing the doorbell. He
pulled out a house key and walked right in. "Naili!!!" He
called, as he made his way up the stairs to her room. "I'm
coming in!" He warned, before opening the door and entering the
threshold of the room that was undoubtedly littered with outfits
and shoes.
"Some things really do never change." He said with a smile, as
he made his way over and gave A'Naili the hug that he was truly
the one in need of. "You know, most people do their packing more
than a day before their flight. Especially when they're as bad
at packing as you!"
He made his way over to her computer, grateful that it hadn't
been packed yet, and made his way to Pizza Hut's website,
ordering an extra large Buffalo Chicken Pizza with stuffed
crust. He was so glad that she had gotten over that vegetarian
phase she went through a few years ago!
"So tell me about this deal!" He said to the blue haired beauty,
clearly dodging his true purpose for coming as long as he could.
Unbeknownst to him, however, Naili hadn't been informed of the
offer that was being presented to her. She didn't have much to
tell him, and he wouldn't have much time to procrastinate...

Man, Sachiel was always so quick! Naliah barely had time to put
on some shorts and a tank before the man announced his entrance.
"Sachie!" She squealed as she was enraptured in his warm
embrace. The man had really gotten more fit since they have last
met. His arms and chest were more pronounced and sturdy. Resting
her head against his chest for a few moments, Naliah let out a
sigh of relief; she had missed him so much. After years of
constantly spending time together, this separation was hard;
Naliah always had problems with this anxiety. "Shut up!" She
said, tilting her head up so that their gazes could meet. "I
could pack flawlessly! I just don't know WHAT I want to pack.
Thank you very much!"
While Sachiel logged on to the computer and started to order,
she sat down beside him; one leg folded beneath her with her
hands resting upon her lap. Nibbling the inside of her lower
lip, Naili tilted her head before speaking. "Just chicken, no
other meats." She ordered while thinking about his question. . .
"Honestly. . ." She murmured. "I really don't have many details.
I know I'm going to Atlanta with Kadira on some sort of ship..."
Rolling the ends of her hair between her fingers, she continued.
"I didn't know ships were in Atlanta..."

For years, Sachiel had lived for A'Naili's hugs. The fact that
she was so physically affectionate always gave him a glimmer of
hope that one day things might change between them. Now her hugs
gave him a different sensation. They were still soft and warm.
It was a feeling unlike any other. But beyond the shadow of a
doubt, it was the embrace of a friend.
Of course, there was still a part of Sachiel that loved Naili;
That would always love her. But even that part had accepted that
this wasn't the path he was meant for. He was happy having her
for a best friend. Not to mention, lesbians made the best
talking buddies, which brought him back to the reason he had
stopped by in the first place. What a drag...
He rolled his eyes as Naili reminded him that the only meat that
could go on the pizza was chicken. "I know I know..." he said,
waving her off. Once it was ordered, he turned to face her. She
was truly stunning. That much hadn't changed. He had met her
mother once too. She looked no older than Naili, so she would
undoubtedly be beautiful her whole life. A suspicious eyebrow
shot up at her as she gave him what little details she had to
offer. "A cruise with Kadira? Are you sure this is a business
meeting?" He asked with a laugh. Little did he know that his
"cruise" joke was more than accurate.
Sachiel knew well about Naili's history with Kadira. They
carried something of an open relationship on the show. But
behind closed doors, Naili shared the juicy details that the
camera's couldn't catch. They had almost become exclusive, until
a nameless piece of meat got hold of Kadi for the night.
Despite being "open" Naili didn't like sharing attention. She
broke things off just before the show ended. It had been three
years and some change since then, and as far as he knew, the two
hadn't spoken. 'You sure you're ready to look her in the eye?"

It took Nailiah a few seconds to digest his question; whether it
was a joke or not didn't concern her, for she was asking herself
the same question over and over again as if she was studying for
some type of important exam. Like a three month period in
Alaska, the answer didn't dawn on her at all. She placed her
hand upon his shoulder, adding a little pressure. She could feel
the tenseness in his muscles which caused her gaze to break from
his slightly; something was bothering him and in like true
Sachiel fashion, he chose to ignore it. "I don't know, Sachie.
It was so random and out the blue. But I can't pass on this
opportunity.. ."Taking a pause to reassert herself, Nailiah
continued in a rather hushed tone. "Whatever it may be. ."
Her gaze returned to his; his eyes were always so beautiful, but
they seemed dimmer than usual as if his usual charm and pizzazz
was being hindered by some internal struggle. It broke her
heart. She loved Sachiel; cherished him. Even if her preference
didn't allow her to feel for him physically, she was in love
with him for other reasons and he would be the only man to ever
make her feel this way. The way he kissed her on set was proof
of his feelings as where hers to him. . . She slightly shook her
head, shaking loose the thoughts before they penetrated her even
deeper, Nailiah shrugged. "I really don't know, Sachie. I'll
just go wherever this little adventure takes me.."
"Enough about me.." She said, which would certainly be to
Sachiel's amusement. "I see that you're so tense!" She said as
she moved behind him on the bed, sitting down so that her legs
were parallel to his. She began to massage his back and thick
shoulders, trying to pull his tension out of him. The heat of
his body was radiating through her own due to the closeness.
"Tell me about what's going on with you!"

It didn't take long for Naili's feelings to come to the surface.
It wasn't her words that revealed them though, but rather her
demeanor. She wasn't confident in the actions she was preparing
to take, or the results they would yield. But she was still
dedicated to making them. Sachiel admired that about her. She
was never swayed by indecision. She allowed her heart to guide
her without question. Of course, that tendency often lead her
right back to crying on his shoulder, but he didn't mind. She
never missed out on a life experience, and he envied her for
that. But he was also proud of her. "I'm sure it'll be the
experience of a lifetime." He told her with a genuine smile.
"And even if I'm wrong, you'll have a story for me when you get
back, and I'll have a meal for you."
It wasn't like Naili to draw attention away from herself,
especially when she was feeling anxious or emotional. He must
have been looking worse than he thought.

It has been about a year and three months since A'Nailiah had
