"Oberon...."
"Ooooberrrooonnn!"
Kayis groaned into his pillow as he tried his best to reach for
the wooden mug filled of deliciousness. The white wolf merely
sat far side from him and looked at him curiously with bright
blue eyes. "Useless pup.." Kayis murmured before he pushed up
from his bed on the floor and let his long white hair make him
look like something from the Adams family. He was naked; covered
by a over-sized black blanket and clothes hat had been strewn
across the bed. He opened his mouth and let out an obnoxious
yawn before starting his morning ritual.
"Oberon, we have a new girl today.. I agreed to train this one
because I destroyed something and owed the favor.. or was she
cute?... " Kayis tapped at his chin and his wolf companion
buried their maw under their paws. That was when a low growl
came from behind Kayis. "Ahh Gareth there you are." Kayis pulled
up his hiori, then his pants and started towards the doors to
the outer garden. "Company must be near then." In passing Kayis
pet his blakc wolf and the two of them followed behind him as he
sat cross legged and looked over the garden, sipping at his
sake. "Lets see how this goes."

Kira reached a strange style building where the middle was
opened to expose a garden. She walked lightly until she was
standing on the roof over looking a man and...wolves!? "Great I
better change back before they try to eat me." She thought to
herself. Her form was probably easily seen since a white cat
sitting on black roof would be noticeable. If not by him her
smell would attract the pups.
She jumped down and transformed back into her normal self. A
girl, rather average height, skinny waist but curves where they
mattered. Long blonde hair with pink tips trailing down to the
middle of her back. Her clothes: a button down white collared
shirt, top few buttons opened, a leather jacket over top, a
plaid skirt, thigh high socks, and black boots. She put her
hands on her hips and tilted her head slightly; by her side was
a black handled katana.
"Are you the one am suppose to meet about training? You seem
rather...relaxed." Kira drew her katana from it holster and held
it by her side awaiting his answer but also prepared to be
surprised. Her blue eyes carefully scanning the surroundings.
Not many places for hiding so he had to be he only one here..

Kayis didn't have to look, to see the girl stand before him,
gareth done enough announcing her presence. "Hmm feline.. that
makes more sense then." Kayis smirked then raised his golden
eyed gaze to look up at the girl. he wasn't human, at least not
as a whole. His teeth were sharpened, canine almost, his eyes
were all black with golden irises that shined almost akin to
moonlight. White marks scattered all across his body, and he was
bony to the point where it appeared as if he were nothing but
bone and muscle.
Kayis stood up when addressed, setting the sake down and tilting
his head in question as he began his analysis of his new
student. "Aye, That would be me girly. Kayis Asader at your
service. You should have hit me while you could though." Kayis
laughed then stepped out into the garden and waved his hand as
his sword Kolagara appeared in his right hand. "You came here to
fight, so lets get to it. Kill me."

Kira watched him enter the garden and call his sword. His
appearance and power wasn't human either. Like her he wasn't a
mortal although he seemed to be different. She stepped down into
the garden. She knew nothing of how this would work having never
fought before, she couldn't decide if she should try to devise a
plan or not. She shook her head, too much thinking.
She attempted to lung forward toward him, raising her sword to
swing at his side.
(I know that attacks can't be written direct because you have to
allow the other person to defend or get hit. So something like
that would be appropriate right?)

"Predictable!" Kayis called as he watched the angle and arc that
the sword came at him with. She wasn't weak, he could see that
much just by judging the speed in which she swung a normally
weighted sword. However, she had left herself.... well dead...
Kayis stepped backwards, carefully on one foot first kayis
balanced himself as the sword went directly by him, then brought
his sword down in a swift arc towards the crook of her neck.
Stopping just shy of drawing any blood he held the position and
smirked at her. he was hoping she would catch on to her mistakes
without him having to say much.
(This exercise is all about movement, momentum, and control. Why
was i able to take a deathly attack towards you so easily? Think
about your first move, put it into perspective for your wording,
and try to see how you can fix it, if you need me to tell you
what you did then i will though =D))

(Hmm)
Kira quickly brought her blade around shifting it around to push
his blade slightly up and away so she could attempt to back out
of such a bad situation. It was clear she was reckless, probably
a trait she got from her father. She had to try again figure
out what didn't work, she was fast yes but she lacked something.
She started toward him once more this time she kept her blade to
her side and raised it up to swing once in better range, yet she
kept it in closer to her person that if whn she attempted the
swing she could shift it into a defensive block instead. She
aimed higher up so if she missed and he went for another
critical shot she would reflect and hisnswprd would meet his.
(How's this any better? Tried to also prepare a defense this
time? Closer?)

She was a much quicker learner than he would have expected of
her, the change in her demeanor, the level of focus was
refreshing to say the least. Kayis acknowledged that by
following her lead, if nothing else he would let her know this
way that she was on the right track. They would dance the dance
of a swordsman.
Kayis took his opportunity the to make a simple attack towards
her side, lightly swinging to to keep all of his momentum in the
wrist that held the sword, allowing him all of the control of
his weapon for lack of power. Just as expect she blocked it and
Kayis nodded to her recognizing her talent. She was
understanding.
At this point it was time to teach her a harsher lesson. A
lesson about being a statue rather than a dancer. Kayis waited
then stepped in again swinging his sword down towards her
shoulder. His blow was harder and faster than before less in the
way of his control, but the lesson would be there.
(Nice work. Keep it up =D)

Kira's eyes narrowed and she swiftly side stepped blocking the
harsh amount of damage but still getting nicked in her shoulder
by his blade leaving a cut. As she side stepped she decided to
attempt to use the opening to counter, twisting her wrist so
that the blade might swoop under and upward catching him in the
torso.
(I didn't know what to follow with story wise sorry for the
short post)

(You actually did not need to take any damage in this case, A
simple dodge of the attack is literally your best option as a
beginner here because its such a simple attack that you are not
obligated to take damage, because its easily avoided for
Example...
If you had done the same to me I would side step just as you
have done, but in my side step I would attempt to slash your leg
while stepping behind you. The reason is; if you were swinging
high like that, then it means your lower half is less guarded,
which makes you vulnerable there. You are catching on quickly It
isn't going to take long for you to really get it.)
Kayis hadn't expected her to dodge, he was actually surprised by
the choice but happy that she had not fallen into his trap
either. "Good work, a little faster next time so that you avoid
any damage... " He stated loudly Then shot in towards her
bringing his sword up swiftly with a powerful arc, the blade
came up aiming to cleave her at her hip, a smile on his face, he
reached out with his free hand and aimed to grab at her left
shoulder, taking her ability to move away from her.
