"I'm going to kill him..." Raidon mumbled under his breath as
the teacher threw the kunai at his sleeping brother. The blast
was enough to blow Raidon's hair back even way in the back of
the room! What a pain... Ginma always seemed to do whatever was
least convenient for Raidon. He would be the ideal training
partner, but instead he chose to sleep all day and train alone.
He barely made it on time to every function. He never gave an
opinion about anything. It was almost like he intentionally made
life harder....
With a grimace, Raidon awaited the exam. When it landed on his
desk, he wasn't nervous. He had studied hard for the written
portion, just as he had trained for the field exam. he was sure
he could pass the test. But when he turned the exam over, he
practically lept for joy! He couldn't have asked for an easier
test! All he had to do was match answers with his teammates!
He closed his eyes for a moment, and when he opened them once
more, they had taken the form of his sharingan. It wasn't fully
matured yet, but it was still plenty effective. The red orbs
could see the nervous twitches in all the genin around him. They
were frustrated. None of them knew how to make sure their
answers matched their teammates! But Raidon did. He placed his
pencil on the paper and settled his eyes on Kara's hand. He
couldn't see her paper, but he didn't have to. From the way her
muscles moved, it was easy to copy whatever she wrote,
practically at the same time as her!
He smiled when he saw that she had written his name on the
paper. He knew she was only making the logical choice, but even
so, it felt good in a way that he didn't want to admit. Of
course, there was still hoping that Gin went along with it. Gin
liked to pretend he hadn't awakened his sharingan. Raidon knew
that wasn't true. He didn't know what his brother's Sharingan
looked like, but he knew he had it. Now he just had to hope he
was smart enough to use it...

Ryukyu was sitting off center of the middle row, his eyes
distant and lost; he had enjoyed the walk here, the journey was
rather enlightening, in his opinion. He knew Leiko enjoyed it,
being in the heat was one thing that annoyed.
It was an odd thing, he thought. He often wondered why that was
but strove to keep his thoughts to himself. The Uchiha kid was
rather... curious and a small smile tugged at his lips; a lazy
mind was amazingly susceptible. But Ryukyu knew better than to
discount the sloth of a man.
His cocked to the side as he got the paper. A singular question?
He stared at the instructor oddly, his face screwed in a
question; well, questions. How was this any kind of test? He
felt almost... cheated but didn't say anything, or complain,
lest he bring his team, and himself, any kind of attention.
Although, the idea was rather pleasant to consider; Tamui might
not be pleased, though it'd mostly be because Leiko wasn't keen
on his antics.
'Bah!' He murmured to himself, shaking his head.
A leader was one who inspired and, to be honest, he didn't
inspire anyone; Leiko only really inspired Tamui and Tamui...
There was no hope for that kid. That was wrong to say.
The three of them worked in tandem, often reading each other
without speaking; they all gave something to the team, and there
were times one of them was better to lead than the other two.
His grandfather inspired the young genin, but he was no leader.
He wrote his Raikage's name down after several more minutes of
contemplating a few other people; but none stood out, not nearly
as much as the Kage. Flipping the paper over, he stared at the
sleepy Uchiha and pondered if he could get away with a simple
genjutsu. Something that would mess with the words on his paper;
or even the paper itself.
He frowned, disappointed in himself. Why not do it to everyone?
Only his teammates and perhaps the instructor would know it was
him, and even then, the instructor might not even realize it
until someone said something. It would serve the sleeping Uchiha
right, for falling asleep during watch would mean death. A
small... lesson to be learned.
Perhaps later on, when the consequences wouldn't be so...
severe.

All I wanted to do was to sleep, was that really that hard to
ask. The last thing I wanted was attention. Why couldn't people
just accept me as I was "lazy" . Honestly I didn't know he was
the proctor, I though he was a genin just like everyone one else
in here . If I knew I most likely would have... Then again ,
running takes energy and I be more tired then what I was right
now.
This was the second time today I fell into a good sleep and
someone interrupted it . The Kunai hit my decks and
automatically I jumped back . A seal was on it but rules said
that the proctor could not kill the genin unless they attack
first and it was out of self defense. Well I didn't attack him
so I was still within the rules. Instead of avoiding the blast
which would take quick reflexes but instead I suffer the
consequences of it . It blew me out my chair and on my face . I
wish it was strong enough to know me out cold then I would get
some good sleep .
After the smoke cleared I straighten up my decks and sat back
down waiting on my paper . The proctor gave me the sheet of
paper with a death stare on the side . I wonder if that was the
stare he gave his opponents before he killed them ? I didn't
even bother looking up because there was someone with a death
stare worst then him right now .. "My brother" I could feel his
eyes burning into my scalp . Even in this cold tundra of a room
it still burned
The question on the paper ask who was the leader of our squad. I
took a deep breath of sigh and wrote down my answer "Raidon "
afterwards i stared at the ceiling day dream about the awesome
sleep I was going to get after the first part of the exam was
over

Chiharu looked around the room as everyone finished coming in,
the room was full now and the proctor already found a student
they didn't like. This could be a good thing, he would be paying
attention to him more so then her team. She left out a sigh of
relief, even as a kunai was sent across the room at the boy. As
long as she knew it wasn't her team who set him off.
As the test reached her table and she was finally able to read
it she was shocked. One question?! And it was such an easy one!
Well maybe just for her squad but she had better make sure; they
could argue it later if what was written was a problem. Chi
began to write very clearly so when she would project it to her
teammates, whom of which she already scoped out and memorized
their seats, they would be able to read it quickly since her
special genjutsu would only last about five seconds.
She sat her pencil down and ran her hand through her blonde hair
making it look as if she was trying to think of what to put
down, carefully watching the proctors. She began to rub her eye
with her left hand, focusing on Rin and Shaide's positions.
Carefully she focused and silently casted her Kyōyū
saito, or shared vision. This would allow her teammates vision
in their left eye to only see what she sees like they had double
vision. She removed her hand from her left eye and looked down
at her paper and on it read, Ryoga-Sensei. She then picked the
paper up and flipped it over with a sigh, in her mind she hoped
to her self that they seen it with no complications. Highly
unlikely since genjutsu was her specialty but this was a crowded
room with a lot of other trying to use jutsu to cheat. Good
thing she practiced the jutsu before with them so they would be
prepared.
Chiharu now sat awaiting other's to finish or for the proctors
to say something. She rubbed her eye again this time just
because a tad ray of sunlight came in through the window and
caught her face. As it passed she stopped rubbing her eye and
wiped away the water. If anything caught her off guard it was
always the sun. Good thing though, the proctors will now
probably just think she had allergies in her eyes or something.

Rin heard what the boy next to her said under his breath after
the incident with the sleeping Uchiha boy. They must have been
team mates. She couldn't say she blamed him. She could only
imagine what she'd do if one of her team mates drew attention to
themselves like that! She also noted how, short of his hair
being blown back, the boy didn't so much as flinch when the
explosive went off. She decided that her initial judgement of
him may have been preemptive.
When she turned the test over, Rin made no movements. She simply
waited. And she didn't have to wait long. When Chi's genjutsu
set in, Rin smiled beneath her mask; Not just because she knew
her team had passed the first test, but because it was clear
that Chi understood the dynamics of the test. Surely several of
the teams in the room were panicking right now, trying to decide
whether to put their own names, or one of their teammates. It
was something that could not only cause them to fail the exam,
but break down their team work in the long run.
In reality, everyone could have put "Santa Claus" on their
exams. As long as their teammates put the same, they were in the
clear! But the exam didn't clearly explain that. It was
something you had to figure out on your own. Rin was proud of
her team mates. They weren't bothered by being trapped inside
the box. Rin wrote Chi's answer, "Ryoga Sensei,"and turned her
paper over.
It was at that moment that she saw the boy next to her writing
just as calmly as she had. A glance out of the corner of her eye
and she saw it! A Sharingan! There were TWO Uchiha here? And
they were on the same team!? That hardly seemed fair! Of course,
one of them seemed to be a slacker. But that could all be some
sort of act. She would have to keep an eye out for this team.
But she was already wishing desperately that her teammates had
let her find them some allies...

Leiko stares ahead, dark eyes watching the wall as if it was the
most interesting thing there. She was a reserved individual and
wasn’t in the slightest, interested in her surroundings. The
Uchiha brother who was sleeping, the proctor who played with
him, evidently annoyed at his nonchalant behaviour at an exam,
didn’t deter her gaze.
When the paper is placed on her table and she turns it to find
one single question, a slight smirk plays on her lips. Who is
the leader of your squad? The girl could almost feel Tamu’s
slight panic when he first flips it over to see the question.
C’mon Tamu. It was easy, neither of the three were leaders, they
all dominated in their own realm of powers. On some missions,
Ryu took the lead, on others, Tamu.
The leader -though he wasn’t part of the squad- was Raikage.
He was the one they answered to, and the smartest choice. As she
skims over and scribbles her answer down, she comes across the
second written thing. If all three members of the squad don’t
have the same answer, it would lead to disqualification. Her jaw
tightens before she activates her sensor. She uses it, embodying
almost, Tamu and Ryu’s pen, to make sure they were all on the
right track. It took a considerable amount of concentration but
this was a technique she had mastered.
Her happiness doesn’t register on her face when she notices
their answers are identical.
She simply continues to look ahead.
Now, now.
The voice in her head was prominent, only to her.
Wouldn't it be fun to see what everyone else wrote?

Shaide sighed as he stared down at the paper, one question, one
simple question that had to match what was written upon the
paper of his teammates. The scene that had played out between
the proctor and the young sleeping boy all but forgotten as
people shook in frustration, sweat gliding down some of their
forehead in nervousness, and others just locked up not knowing
how to use their jutsu to their disposal. Shaide however waited
patiently each second ticking away slowly closer to the time for
the test to end. Soon however his eyes were looking at Chi's
answer, knowing that all of their teammates would have the same
answer he jotted down Ryoga and flipped the paper around before
scanning the room. There were many people here that probably
were stronger than they acted like the sleeping boy, and then
the boy that sat next to his teammate. Shaide was about to turn
away from the boy until his eyes saw the red and black sharigan
in his. An uchiha taking place this year and he was going to be
the genin that most will want to knock out of the exam. Either
way things just got very interesting and this exam will be one
of the best yet.

While the genin worked on their exams, the higher ups were
watching them on a monitor. They observed how some of the
examinees panicked, woke others worked together to solve the
problem. Others seemed to instinctively trust each others
judgement. The group as a whole wasn't very impressive. But
there were a few who stood out.
While the higher ups discussed these things, the Hokage, and a
Samurai of the Land of Iron discussed one genin in particular.
After checking her information, it was certain. They would be
watching that one...

(At this point, the proctor collected all the exams and
dismissed the examinees. You have until the results are posted
to mingle amongst each other)

Being close to the back of the room, Rin was one of the first
to exit the exam room when they were dismissed. She returned to
the training area where she and her team had waited previously.
Chi and Shaide wouldsurely return there as well. But instead of
waiting by the training dummies, she positioned herself atop a
high beam and watched the genin leaving the first exam. She was
watching their expressions. The first thing the teams would do
upon exit would be to discuss their answers with each other.
Everyone would know whether or not they passed the exam long
before the results were posted. Rin was watching for
expressions of triumph or defeat. They would tell her who her
opponents would be in the coming rounds.
