Max picked up on Akiko joining him and her rather troubled look.
He left out a sigh as she asked such questions. Of course he
cared what became of the girl but she had her own choices to
make. Beside he wasn't about to drag her to the village by
force and fight off her companions. "Akiko," he said in his
rather wow tone "you nor I can force her to come with us. She
seen were our home is, she will come if she so chooses." He ran
his hand through his hair awaiting for her to try to make him do
something dramatic anyway but instead she bumped into him.
Perhaps she was accepting he knew what he was doing for once. Or
she was plotting something herself.. Now he was left feeling a
bit uneasy.
"I have prepared our wedding, so when you are ready.." Max
quickly changed the subject.

Akiko turned her head, suddenly she felt as if a light was lit
inside her. "Oh you did, I can't wait! How exciting, I'll just
need some time to freshen up." Akiko said as she twisted her
hair around her finger. To have gone from an outsider exiled by
her supernatural powers to actually become someone's wife.
She looked down to the ground smiling; her cheeks were brushed
with pink as she smiled. Max made her happy and she wa excited
to build something with him. This village, a family it really
didn't matter to her.
As she entered the village she took a quick glance then she left
out a gasp. It was beautiful! The alter was in the center of all
the spirit stones; lovely vines, flowers and branches decorated
the area. How long he must have spent on this all for her? "You
really out did yourself Max..I don't know what to say.."

Senrei was coming to regret his early graduation. He had agreed
to it in hopes that he could return to protecting his home
sooner. But he only returned to find that his home was no longer
there... At least if he had declined his early graduation offer,
he would have still had a place to live. Instead he now spent
his days wandering.
He had come across many woodlands similar to his own, but none
that were welcoming. He was often challenged, or outright
attacked by the guardians of various lands, who labeled him as a
threat. But he avoided battle as often as the situation would
allow.
These lands seemed peaceful. But he had a feeling they were no
different. The grounds were littered with the smell of wolves,
and they were known for being territorial. It was best if Senrei
traveled through as quickly as possible, avoiding contact with
anyone. A fox would not be welcome on wolves territory.
