A barrier in communications

Ienya piloted her ship through the fire. The mission being a
counter strike against the Anrolenos. Who had spent years
depriving their home of everything they could get from them. Few
warriors stepped up to battle as Ienya did. If there was a cause
to die for it was this one. To save her people.
But as luck would have it fate was not on her side today. Her
ship took a blow that knocked out all navigation and left a
gaping hole in her ship. Doors sealed to prevent anything
further from being sucked into the vaccume of space, and the
ship was thrown into its critical alert which signified that it
was going down.
Ienya couldn't think. The lights flashed in circles all around
her. She clasped her ears as the alarm screeched. "Ienya! Aru
canna bo dain!" She looked to the windshield which became a
screen. Her superior glared at her. "Bo dain ona mei lopa! Mei
lopa! Mei lopa!" She typed in several codes none of which
worked. Her ship hurtled toward the planets surface. The silver
and white outer layer of the ship now glowing red.
The ship was going to crash. Her people would have a funeral for
her as if she were lost by the time they returned from their
mission. As was the norm when a ship wrecked. This was because
they could not risk being captured on a hostile planet. Their
numbers dwindled as it was. They were becoming extinct. Due to
lack of natural resources and their planet being nearly wiped
out in the war.
She pressed a button and a cushioned compartment opened. Nothing
left to do but prepare for impact. Ienya pressed two peircings
below her eyes and a white and blue metallic suit covered her
body like a second skin. Then she crawled into the compartment.
It was barely big enough for her. The door slid shut just as the
ship crashed. She felt herself being jarred around. Then a gas
was released that put her in a death like slumber that would
last a few hours while she healed. The door came open and she
tumbled halfway out and crashed on the floor

Kadira loved nature. Despite being a city girl, she constantly
found herself out hiking, or exploring the woods. Since her days
on the Islands, maybe it was just her way of feeling more at
home. Here she didn't have to hide behind illusions or trickery.
She could just be free. She could strip down and jump in the
lake, or just watch the animals! Either way, she loved it. Today
she was simply walking. She never took the path anymore. She
walked off in different directions each time, sometimes finding
amazing things like caves or waterfalls. This time what she
found was a clearing. Surrounded entrely by trees, but open to
the sky.
Flowers littered this area, every color under the sun, like the
grass was covered in glitter! She thought to herself that it
must have looked absolutely amazing from overhead! And as soon
as the thought crossed her mind, she saw it! A giant metal
object, which appeared to be a ship falling from the sky! She
shrieked and ran back into the woods, before hearing the crash.
Once the dust settled, she turned back to see that the flowers
in the clearing had been all but destroyed by the impact.
"Dammit..." She whined. "Just my luck that I would be the one
around when a fucking UFO crashes..." She couldnt' have a normal
day... Despite her frustration over this, she couldn't just walk
away. She had to do the white girl thing and investigate! How
often did you see a space ship this close up? She wandered
around until she found the entrance, and made her way in. The
inside was like something straight out of a sci-fi movie! She
couldn't understand any of the writing and nothing inside looked
like anything made by humans. Then she saw it. Someone sprawled
out on the ground, unconscious! But it looked human! Like a
human woman in some sort of futuristic suit of armor! "Hello?"
She asked. Who knew? In the sci-fi movies, the aliens always
seemed to speak English!
