Graveyard Tea Party
By: TheNightingale Date: November 4, 2015, 1:32 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
It was dark now, the sun had finally fallen from the top of the
sky and the moon had now taken it's place. The air was cooler
now; perfect for a moon lit tea party among the graves of the
damned. Eve danced in the far from empty graveyard the eerie fog
seemed to sway with her dress. Her feet were so light against
the ground she couldn't wake the dead if she tried. In back of
her was a table she set up with some chairs surrounding it.
There was a black and grey worn out cloth on the table that she
had laid down and on top of that some old fashioned china tea
cups, some had chips but all looked well aged. They sat in their
own eloquence on some matching plates, there was even a tea pot
still steaming around it was little dishes with all the fixings;
cream, sugar, honey, dry little cookies... She continued to
dance around the table humming a song that was out dated. She
stopped to add the finishing touch; straight from the catacombs,
a skull she cracked open and shoved a candle stick in. She set
it in the middle of the table with a giggle. Eve carefully lit
it "Perfect, just absolutely perfect now I wait for my guests."
Eve clapped her hands and smiled before returning to her dance.

Eclypse had followed the girl at quite a far distance from the
tavern he had first met her. why he was following her he had no
idea in all honesty. Maybe it was the fact that she seemed to be
quite the odd demoness. kindness was surely not a demonic trait,
but, she seemed to show it without a second thought. it was
strange to say the least, so, he felt an insatiable need to
follow the young lass. observe her behavior. though, before he
had known it, he found himself on the outskirts of a graveyard;
a groan escaping his lips. This was hallowed ground and most
demons could not enter this land. Eclypse, on the other hand,
was no normal demon on the other hand. Yes, this land would sap
his powers, but, he could still enter without harm. so, with a
burdened sigh, he entered the gate; putting all reservation
behind him. "here we go..." He spoke as he made his way into the
grounds.
Immediately passing through the gates he felt a sharp pain
within his chest as he let out a groan. is helmet like horns
slowly burning down into ash that fell into his blue hair.
Reaching up to shake out the ash from his hair as he gripped
into the short thick locks. he could feel them... The spirits
angered by his very presence. they were attacking his immortal
body, though, they had no luck attacking his soul. or the lack
of. The only thing he felt was his body yearning out for a soul
of his own. It was a just punishment for those who tortured the
bodies of those who appreciated their own souls. "I
understand... Just stop it..." He spoke out to the souls as he
finally reached the girl in the center of the grounds.
Looking to the table he smirked over to the young girl; running
his hand up over his face to feel the scars edged into either
side of his eyes into a strange symbol. "so I found you...
Strange place for a demon to hide, you know... We arent allowed
on such grounds. It mocks the gods who punish us." He spoke as
his eyes admired her strange set up. who was this girl
expecting? did she know he was following her? she was growing
all the more interesting every moment.

Eve let out a gasp, quickly spinning around to greet the man
from earlier. "No, you are just naughty. Am I right you were bad
previous to this? I on the other hand was just born this way. I
am not a full demon just a half. I couldn't be here if I was
whole, but a lass I am only a half and not even in the form of
that half. She is mean." Eve giggled and let out a purr. She
started to dance once more humming a song. "Did you want to join
the spirits and I for tea? It is purrfectly hot. There are even
some cookies, just don't eat the fish shaped ones they are for
cats." Eve gave him a smile showing him her sharp fangs. She was
barely sane, or well that is how she made herself seem.

Eclypse only chuckled at her words as he nodded in return.
making his way over to the table as he pulled out the cair in
front of him. taking a seat slowly as he held his hands together
over the table. the smirk never leaving his lips; having no
fangs unlike most demons. he actually appeared to be surprising
human for his demonic origin. "naughty? well, I suppose that is
one way to put it." hehad surprisingly good manners for a demon
Iin the way he sat and presented imself. Flashbacks of his human
life raising through his mind as he thought of his past story.
"this may be of some surprise to you, but, I was once a priest.
Though, the church demanded a crusade against the heretics. I
killed in the name of god, though, I had a nasty habit of
keeping my victims alive so I could have more fun with them
before I sent them to their after life..." he chuckled at the
idea as he reached forward for an empty cup and the tea. pouring
a bit into is glass. Tea always reminded him of the days of old.
As he sipped he thought before placing the cup upon his plate to
continue speaking. "well once the church changed their mind
about the crusade... Deeming it inhuman and sinical I was put on
the chopping block only after being tortured in return. In
retrospect it is amazing how corrupt humans are. we pretend to
know what god wants in order to play god ourselves... Which we
will always be punished for." he spoke before pulling the glass
up to his lips once more. closing his eyes to enjoy the scent
though not taking another sip. only to open them and look to her
once more. "so a half demon, huh? Well what is your story, hell
cat? I have been in the flames quite some time so I cannot say
Ive heard of a half breed demon before..." He said before
finally sipping down the tea. Patiently awaiting her
explanation. Did this girl even know her parents or her origin?
he couldnt help his curiosity.

Eve stopped dancing as the man told her his story, she took a
seat at the table and nibbled upon her fish shaped treats. "I
like hearing their begging for you to stop...personally. It is
exciting." She added to his story. She watched him until he
mentioned her story. She made a sour face at him and began to
think about her past. "I think I was created. All I remember was
waking up in a strange room full of men and women in white
coats. I had a terrible wanting to scratch all their faces
apart, and I did with these.." Eve exposed her hands, which
changed into claws coated with iron or perhaps steal either way
they were a metal and looked sharp. "I love my claws, but my
other form they turn black and red, I have wings, and a terrible
thirst for blood. This way I am more of a mortal, the other way
I am demonic. I am stronger. But any way I can't tell you more
then that. I pretty much just woke up and took it from there."
Eve looked up at the moon. "I like to read, it is how I learned
how to survive here. I learned to talk many languages and blend
in through the times. I can make myself seem almost human enough
to be apart of a work force. I worked in an coffee shop once.
Until a man made me mad and I threw lava on him. Saved it all
the way from hell. Just for his coffee. It was sure the hell
SPECIALTY blend. Hehheh.."

He smirked as she spoke of the spirits' please for him to leave
this ground. he was disturbing their rest and he knew it all too
well. though where he was wounding them they were doing the same
to him. toning down his power to a barely even recognizable
level. just the loss of power alone effecting his form and
burning his horns away: the very symbol of his demonic origin.
speaking once more in an amused tone to the unpredictable girl.
"their torture excites you, does it? well, it seems even a half
demon can not fight off the half for long..." as he heard of her
origin his eyebrow raised in a curious glance. so she was a
creation of the acult magics. he could not say he was surprised.
even in his time it was not unheard of cults bringing demons to
life so it was only a matter of time for them to create a half
breed. his tea cup now empty he placed it upon his plate before
looking back to her with his enlightened smirk. "so you are a
creation of cults... From what you tell me you have been beyond
the gates and entered the flames before... Tell me... How many
times have you entered the gates of hell?" He spoke with a
geniune curiosity with each question he drilled into her.
"I am sorry if I seem to be a tad nosie, but, you see... I am
one of six demon lords who has recently escaped the gates and
entered this realm. That night at the tavern... I was fresh to
the world. I have no set foot in this world in ages, so, I wish
to get the measure of my bretherin in this world... Who knows.
maybe you may even have what it takes to become a lord of the
liar's berg... It may be the lowest and most leanient of the
rings of hell, but, a demon lord is a lord nonetheless..." He
looked away as he could physically see the wailing spirits
around him. their torture reminding him so much of home. The
demon lord of torture. He did not specialize in murder. only the
pain of life. "a demon with your origins and... Disposition
certainly has potential..." He spoke as he tapped his fingers
upon the table. Looking back as he observed the girl's
reactions.

Eve tilted her head and began to ponder; she pulled out her
claws and began to count. "Well, I pretty much go when ever I
feel like it, I was there yesterday morning. I guess you can say
I look more so like a bat in hell. I flutter around torment
things, play with lost spirits." She got up from her chair and
looked nervous, "We should walk now, the spirits are requesting
their tea, they like it when it gets cold." Eve shook off her
skirt, and began walking to the end of the graveyard. He hips
swayed back and forth. Her long pigtails bounced up and down as
she walked.

"Hm.... So be it." He spoke before slowly rising from his chair
with a curious glance. where did she intend to go? this was a
graveyard. it was nothing but death and stone in every
direction. Though, he would follow just as she wished for him
to. Beginning to walk slowly behind her with heavy steps. The
moist urge pushing down with each step of his iron clan boots as
if his body weighed much more than it appeared to. In appearance
he seemed to be very fit and slender: making no sense as to why
each step crushed earth underneath him. His armor only covered
his chest and calfs so it could not be that heavy. the closer
they got to the edge of the graveyard blue flames seemed to make
itself obvious with every step as if each step brought out these
flames. Is eyes scanned over the small girls frame as she walked
ahead of him. She casually entered and exitted hell? it was
strange... It must be from the fact that she did not actually
belong there, but, her form still had some ties to the flame.
with every word she spoke he was more and more intrigued.
though, he could not make his thoughts too obvious. so he simply
slipped his hands into the pockets of the thin black pants that
covered his legs: shrouded body a cape like clothe that covered
his lower body. speaking out in a calm tone. "Tell me, Hell Cat.
where exactly are we going?" He said as if she had any idea,
though, seeing this girl's personality he sincerely doubted that
notion.

Eve's high low dress drug against the ground, it was already
quite torn up and appeared burnt as well. She thought about his
question. They could go back to the tavern, or walk around the
town. There was hundreds of places they could go. "Well I
suppose going to Hell would be out of the question right?" She
put her finger up to her chin thinking really hard on where they
could go. The trail was finally ending, and at the end was a
rusted iron street lamp. It was lit but flickered as if the bulb
was dying. Much like everything around it. Eve began to burst
out in a devious little giggle, "We could go RAISE hell around
the town. You like torture I like torture WE like torture. How
bout we find so stray mortals who over stayed their curfew and
teach them a little lesson before sending their damned soul to
hell! I could cut open their bellies and play jump rope with
their instantiates! And you can play hopskotch with their
bones!" Eve bounced about totally excited with the idea; in the
merriment she stepped on the back of her dress and fell on her
butt. "Oppse.."

This girl... She was shaming the name of demon by her incessant
spewing of words. speaking of tearing apart human flesh and
playing with their innards. she may be part demon, but, she had
a lot to learn as to what exactly that meant. They were not
creatures of senseless slaughter, but, creatures of punishment.
meant to torture the wicked. she even spoke of going to hell as
if it were a place for games; her every word causing an
irritated twitch in his eyebrow. he spoke as she fell with the
irritation obvious in his tone as he walked over and grabbed the
back of her outfit. "beleive it or not, demons have laws of our
own. we punish the wicked and envy the innocent. we serve an
existence much more righteous than our own." With that he used
only one hand to pull her up to her feet. only continuing his
lecture. "I will return to hell once I meet my end once more,
but, it will not be by choice. that is not a place for childish
games, but, a place for punishment. you will have to kill me to
return to that place." He looked to her with a glare as he
leaned forward to get on eye level with her. "you have a lot to
learn about what you are and who you will become. you are a
creature of sin, so, in my eyes, you are the only one who should
be tortured by my hands..." He spoke before releasing the fabric
of her outfit. standing back up to his six foot figure as he
glared down to her. "but... you are still a child. you are born
a creature of sin, so... You will be spared my righteous power
for now... You will meet your true hell when you are destined to
do so."
With that he walked out to exit the graveyard ahead of her.
immediately letting out a sigh of relief once he exitted the
gates. his powers slowly returning but he held his horns back:
leaving some limit on his power. just so he could blend in with
the general populous. looking back to her with an annoyed
glance. "though... if you wish to indulge we shall go to town..
We will seek out the wicked and I will show you the defining act
of punishment. does that interest you, my sinister hell cat?" he
looked back to her with an almost pleased smirk at the prospect
of punishing those who have punished others. his glance almost
seeming to be flirtatious in a strange, twisted, way.
