Annika smiled as his nose rubbed against her own, opening her
eyes and looking up at him as he moved back. She watched him for
a moment as he looked over the city, her own gaze straying to
the buildings that had been her home for the last few months. It
seemed only fitting that she glance upon them once more, not
knowing if she would return. And to think, the only person who
would notice her disappearance would be her landlord. Who, in
all fairness, didn't like her very much as she was terrible at
paying rent. Looking back to Kota, she smiled and reached for
his hand, shuffling forwards as she kept her weight off her
injured leg. Taking hold of his hand, she looked to him and then
squeaked as he lifted her, wincing lightly as her leg ached
though determined not to show it. She didn't like to be carried,
but she figured Kota had reason to lift her and as she curled
her arms around his neck for support, she found what that reason
was. Tightening her grip a little as she suddenly found herself
in the air, she buried her head against his chest to keep her
hair from whirling around her face. She had no idea where they
were going, but she knew that wherever it was, it would be much
more of a thrill and adventure than the dull city. And already
she knew that out of all of her lives, this would be one of her
favourites.

The peace of the two did not last very long, for only a few
hours after Kota and Annika had left the city; they were traced
by sunder and the mysterious man whom hid his face.. It was a
fairly short battle, though much more difficult with him having
to at least allow one arm to hold on to Annika. The two were
relentless and once more the awesome power of the mystery guy
was expressed as a power field of absolute magnitude took the
sky in a spheres of distorted red and black energy. The sky
seemed to almost have cracks in it by the mans power, but
luckily by narrow escape it had allowed Kota and Annika to lose
the two and dive bomb it into a large forest with trees he size
of towers. Entangled branches made their fall unpleasant, but at
last minute Kota kicked up to allow himself to set her down as
nice as he could and roll roughly through the forest floor,
crashing into a nearby tree. Even still he couldn't do anything
but laugh as he sorted himself and got up rubbing at his head.
"see what ya signed up for?" he laughed a bit and then stood up
brushing off the dirt and moving over to help her up as well.
Just as he had helped her up Kota turned to look at the sky. It
had a brilliant hue of bright bright orang ad pink, something
like a sunset but it was still mid day. "you're alright?" he
asked this cautiously, not wanting to crowd her with sentiments.
Though there relationship was more sentimental than anything
really, it was that little spark which had lead her to join him
in this craziness, knowing his line of work, that he would HAVE
to face danger every day, and knock on deaths door as a
practice. Still it was nice, to be int he forest again; despite
never having bee to this forest it was still just as tranquil as
the last he had visited. "Hows your survival skills?" he asked
her prepping a spot for a fire with his foot, and stabbing his
wickedly curved dagger into the ground.. Much as he loved the
dagger he had to hate i as well, because this dagger was the
only thing his father had ever given him. Still this had been
his weapon for so long, it had earned a great bit of value for
him.
Soon enough Kota and Annika, both built up a fire, and found a
few rocks to mis place to seat themselves around it. Kota ore of
his shirt, though it was not much it was something and he
wrapped it around her shoulders. placing his bare arm around her
as he did. He was not the most physically embodied being ever,
but he was doing fine for himself. sleek muscle tone traced his
body and his strong chin, as well as the hint of a six pack that
showed through on his skinny body. "So since we are traveling,
do you know any place you would want to visit?" He knew this was
going to be a very rough journey, He had essentially drug her
from the safe spot she had been in, and into this forest, with
no shelter or blankets, hardly any prep at all honestly. He had
to at least offer her something in this, even if it had been her
choice...
(lame post i'm sorry for that its going to get better v.v )

Annika could do nothing while Kota battled the two men, only
hold onto him tightly so that he wouldn't have to worry about
dropping her. It was the only thing she really could do at this
point. The battle seemed short and as they escaped and dove
towards a forest, Annika found herself feeling relieved. The day
had been dangerous enough already, she wanted a chance to at
least bind her leg now that it had stopped bleeding. As they
fell, she tried to keep her body relaxed so as not to break
anything while they tumbled through the branches, giving a light
'Oof.' as she came to a stop. Looking around for Kota, she
picked a few leaves and twigs from her hair and then watched as
he laughed, starting to giggle along with him. "That's what
makes it fun." She grinned and then held onto him as he helped
her up, keeping her weight to the left again. Seeing him look
up, she followed his gaze. "Wow..." It was strange to see the
sky such a colour, though it was beautiful beyond words.
"I'm fine, although my leg hurts a little still." She looked
down to her thigh and frowned a little as she saw it was
bleeding slightly again, the scab torn from the falling through
the branches. She reached for the bottom of her shirt and tore a
strip from it from right the way around the edge, leaving her
stomach and lower back exposed. Carefully, she tied it around
her thigh and pressed it gently against the blood, before
checking that it was secure. Straightening up, she looked to
Kota and smiled. "All better." Hearing his question of her
survival skills, she laughed and leaned against a tree while he
prepared the fire. "I've been around a long time, rather back
and forth but around nonetheless. I've picked up a thing or
two." She smiled and then turned to collect firewood, gathering
as much as she could.
As they sat around the fire, she half closed her eyes and
watched the flames dance, listening to the crackling sound of
the twigs cracking. As he wrapped his shirt around her, she
blinked and looked across at him, giving a small smile and
leaning towards him as his arm curled around her. His question
brought many places to mind, though none that she really wanted
to go back to. If anything, she only wanted to avoid them. "No,
I'm happy to go anywhere." She looked across at him though her
eyes were drawn to his body first, slowly flicking up to his
chest, his arms, his chin and then his eyes. She could see the
light of the fire reflecting in his eyes just as much as she was
sure he could see it in her own, her pale cheeks tinted with a
light orange in the light of the flames. He was so handsome, the
contours of his face, his strong jaw, the way his pale hair fell
just right and those bright eyes. It took her a moment before
she realised she had been staring at him, her cheeks darkening a
little before she turned her gaze back to the fire. "So... where
are we going next?"

That joyful spark in her voice always reassured Kota that she
was ready for this whole adventure. He knew her combat skills
lack, but with the wolf like instincts it was likely she was
pretty good with survival, despite him asking. "Oh so much fun
haha." he laughed a bit to himself and then shook his head at
the realization of just how insane they must have been to find
being hunted "fun" Still he detached from the idea and at that
point he jut leaned back into the nearest tree. " I suppose that
has to be true, you have to learn skills like that when you are
on your own int he world, well we both have pretty great
survival skills so that doubles are chances aye?" He asked with
a bit of humor in his voice. Still he waited though for her to
suggest somewhere that she might like to visit. Honestly the
whole world was now there play ground, the known universe they
resided on and everything that ever existed.. that never made it
any easier to choose a new destination. Kota knew that he had to
stay true to his mission, but with her being at his side he was
more reluctant than he had used to be. The road was dangerous,
there would be a lot of death, a lot of pain and he knew that
factors presented against him were far too often with his level
of luck.
He parted his mind though as she asked their next destination,
then moved closer to the fire and watched it. " well thats the
worst part of our journey, I have no where planned... I just
need to find the Abyssals as fast as possible, so we kind of
just travel and ask along the way... its very indirect
unfortunately." he chuckled to himself and grabbed the back of
his head nervously as he sat there. " are you cold, though." He
didn't even wait for her to answer before he scooted himself
over to her and wrapped one of his arms around her pulling her
closer so that their bodies would mesh and warm her up, if not
both of them. He cast a smile to her. " there hope that helps a
bit." Before long however that warmth, the exhaustion of flight
and everything leading up to point hit Kota like a brick, and he
found himself slumped against her body, out like a light.

Annika smiled and nodded in agreement at his comment on
survival, chuckling a little. "I know I have plenty of survival
skills. Quite a few years worth." She laughed and tilted her
head a little, brushing a strand of hair from her eyes. For a
moment, she pondered the thought of where she wanted to go, but
she honestly had no idea. She wasn't even sure of anywhere they
could go. The whole of the universe up for grabs, and the only
place she could think of was at Kota's side. It sounded cheesy,
but she didn't care; that was the only place she really wanted
to be at that moment. As he questioned how cold she was, she was
about to answer but found herself being pulled towards him. She
looked up at him as she let her head rest on his shoulder, her
arms sliding around his waist as she smiled. "Much better." She
fell quiet for a while and it wasn't long until she felt Kota's
weight relax against her. Chuckling softly, she slowly and
carefully adjusted their position so that she could lower him
down, laying beside him. She lay on her side to face him, their
heads not far from the fire so that they were still warm and her
nose lightly brushing against his. Softly, she pressed her lips
to his own in a gentle kiss, before fidgeting a little to curl
up against him, closing her eyes and drifting into a dreamless
sleep.
(Sorry it took so long and it's so short!!! D; )

(Writings no chore its all good I take forever anyways)
The night was filled of chill and it had not a chance of
touching them as they slept. His body had fallen out of it
quickly exhaustian from everything finally setting in and he had
fallen asleep against her. Despite that she took care of him,
and they spent their first night together actually sleeping,
cuddled against one another noses touching just slightly. He
never even knew their lips touched again or the warmth of the
fire until the coming morning. It was a subtle action that his
bright blue and violet eyes opened to meet he gaze of a slowly
rising sun, and the sleeping beauty that lie next to him so
close and held against him. Some how his arm had found his way
around her int he night, and the warmth of the fire had
eventually burnt out. Kota yawned slightly rising but remaining
careful not to wake her as he stood up and stretched his sore
body. The birds chirped obnoxiously, the wind was calm and
inviting a warm breath of the gods that inhabited this world.
For the first time in what seemed like forever Kota had found
happiness and calm in his sleep, he hadn't had a nightmare, and
he could only imagine that he only could thank the beautiful
woman that lay next to him and cared for him all night.
The morning breeze was catching on a cold chill still, and he
knew he had to do something to help her as well. Quickly rubbing
a bit of sand against some sticks in rapid succession the fire
sparked again, and he allowed his shadow to split to move and
cut the nearby dead branches. Before they could touch the ground
and wake her however he caught them and added them to a pile and
some to feed the fire. Then Kota took a spot near the place they
had been sitting before and just sat there. He didn't say much
he never did, most his life was recorded in thoughts rather than
actual conversation. Before long though he grabbed in his bag
and found a map to which he started to scan over looking for new
options of home.. a new destination.. his finger scanned over
Sadora... which was the great Desert, the very desert he had
known as home ages ago.. though it was close.. the ruins would
have made an excellent place to take safe haven for some time..
he hated it but it was their best bet, and so he marked a small
black dot that remained. He knew where they were going.
With that he thought of her though.. He moved and met his lips
to her fore head, trying to remain careful to not wake her but
express his gratitude for her.. being here, for her caring for
him.. just for her...
" Thank you.."

Annika slept on as Kota rose, stirring and mumbling lightly in
her sleep as a small frown crossed her face at feeling the
warmth of his arm leave her. Curling up and resting her head on
her hand, she soon settled again, sighing softly as a strand of
hair fell over her closed eyes. Her pale cheeks had turned a
rouge red in the night from the cold after the fire had died out
and her bare legs had come up in goosebumps from the chill,
though it didn't seem to bother her. As the crackling of fire
started up again, she stirred once more, her hand reaching to
itch at the bandage around her leg before she turned over to lay
on her back. She slept for a few minutes longer until she felt
his lips against her forehead, her eyes slowly flickering open.
Peering up at Kota, her bright blue eyes reflecting the sky
above through the gap in the canopy of trees, she blinked a few
times and then ran her hand through her hair.
Rubbing at one of her eyes with the palm of her hand, she
grumbled lightly and sat up, leaning on her elbow. "Good
morning..." She looked to him sleepily and smiled, before
rolling onto her stomach to face the fire, feeling the warmth on
her face. "Have you... you..." she was cut off by a yawn before
she could continue her sentence, giggling a little. "Have you
decided where we're going today then?" She looked over to the
map he seemed to have, folding her arms beneath her to rest her
head on them. Of course, she didn't mind where they went, but it
was nice to know where they were going beforehand anyway.

He hadn't intended to wake her up. Still though as he met his
own baby blue violet eyes he couldn't help but smile. She was
truly beautiful in every respect of the word and he always found
his mind complimenting this obvious fact. "Well good morning to
you." he said cheerfully, more so than he normally would have.
he helped her to her feet only to have her slightly falling
back. Kota made sure she didn't fall back of course and chuckled
to himself as she lost her voice to a yawn. The most adorable
yawn he had ever heard honestly. "Well actually i have." He said
grinning as he moved over to the map and met her there. "We
won't have to worry about much of cold where we are going,
though it might be quite the journey, ya sure your up for it?"
he joked.. something about her just brought out a good side to
him, despite what his existence revolved in she brought out his
best. "Its my old home.. a place shrouded in Desert as Iv told
you, but the vision of the moon you will have is unforgettable
so IF your game.." He poked at her playfully and found his arm
around her waist. "So then good sleep?" =)
