Sara Beth looked at Clara and just let out a small chuckle.
"True enough I guess.. Maybe.. I just don't know how else to use
my powers really.. If anything happens.. it's on accident." She
sighs and looks at the food again, "But... I guess I have plenty
of time to figure it out. Right now.. Guenivere is cold and
afraid.. they seem to be using wards on her to keep her
contained. But I can't tell. If they are going that far..." Her
brows furrowed. "I have to save her."
When she looked back up at Clara there was a look of conviction
there that was sure to not go away. Some of her power starting
to spill away. Just a hint, a taste of just how much power she
had. "My love for my familiars... runs deep. When someone messes
with them... I can't help but feel filled with rage. But fear of
what my actions might cause them is more fearsome than any wrath
I could unleash upon those who wish to harm them." She felt her
whole body loosen up. "I'm.. I'm sorry." She took a deep breath
and shook her head to try and shake off the feeling.
When Pan spoke, Syphl opened one eye to gauge him. It all
depends on what happens at this trial. If her bond with
Guenivere is severed, she will incur her wrath. But if Guenivere
is given back to her. She will become the witch of prophecy that
the Circle fears so much. She is the next Matron witch. She will
be the one that finds a sixth. Not only find a sixth. But create
it. The Five of Lore will be Six, and the worlds balance will
once again be restored. Syphl closes his eye. At least that's
how the prophecy is told. She will either be the Witch of
Destruction. Or the Witch of Creation when the time comes. But
there's always more to the story than what is told in a
prophecy.

Clara nodded, rolling her shoulders. "This is the problem with
having power you are unsure about. Especially when you are young
and without tutor." She paused for a moment, chewing on her lip.
She'd never taken another witch under her wing before, but Sara
Beth was so timid and sweet minded that she couldn't help but
take pity on her. Especially as she started to get worked up and
apologised. "There is no need for apologies. When I was your
age, I was the same. Unruly and wild rather than apologetic,"
she chuckled, "but the same nonetheless." Yes, it was decided.
If she would have her, Clara would help.
"I have a proposition for you, then." She unfolded her arms and
stood up away from the worktop. "I never had a tutor, but I
always wished that I had. I had to learn by myself and as I am
sure you are already aware, it is not easy. Familiars can only
do so much. They don't know our spells, only what we teach them.
So I put it to you, if you would like a tutor I would more than
happily teach you most of what I know." She paused and realised
that probably sounded rather rude. "I would teach you all of it,
but there are perks to being a spirit witch that can't be
taught." She chuckled and tilted her head, waiting for an
answer. She had already agreed to letting Clara help her get
Guenivere back, Clara only hoped she would agree to this too.
Even if only so she could stick around for a while longer.
Pan listened intently, turning his gaze to the fire. His fur
bristled as he heard the word Matron, having heard that before.
As a being of spirit, it would have been one of his Elderkin
that had created the prophecy and all spirits onwards from them
carried a distant memory of prophecies that were told. The
Matron witch? Hmm... That is certainly something. He nodded his
head and frowned in contemplation. He fell silent for a moment
before letting out a soft huff. Then things are going to become
very interesting in the coming days.

Sara Beth couldn't believe what she was hearing. Clara was
offering to tutor her..but that means. She'd have someone..
Someone else around! She smiled a bit. "Yeah, that... that
sounds nice." she smiles. "Though I don't really consider myself
a spirit witch. Not after..." She looked at the floor, pulling
at her fingers a bit.
"I.. it will be tough to start.. but.. I.. I think it would be
wonderful. And you two could stay here." She looked up again and
smiled. "We have plenty of room here. And my familiars would
love more friends." She smiled and turned back to the food.
Lifting the lid and stiring the pot. She smiled and grabbed a
wooden heat absorber onto the table and put the pan on it.
Ladling a bunch of soup into Clara's bowl. And then some into
her own. Finally sitting down.
"But our first order of instance is that we should eat." She
smiled at Clara and then took a fork to eat the thick pieces of
the stew.

Clara smiled hearing the girls acceptance. Good! This would be a
learning curve for both of them, as she'd never taught anyone
before, but she was glad to be of help. She only wished that she
had had someone there for her when she was young, but at least
now she could make sure that Sara Beth didn't make the same
mistakes she had.
"Then it is decided." She smiled, her hands resting on her hips.
"We can start tomorrow, if you'd like? Unless you would rather
wait until we return your familiar? I know it can be tough to
focus when your familiar is... away." Her thoughts tentatively
reached out to Pan who sent her a feeling of comfort. A small
smile graced her lips before she picked up her bowl and joined
Sara Beth in sitting.
"So, now that I am to be your tutor, I suppose that means we
should learn more about each other." She sat quite daintily, her
knees pressed together with one hand resting on her lap while
the other held her spoon to her lips. She might be centuries old
but she'd never forget her lady-likeness when it came to table
manners. "So, is it just you and your familiars? Or do you have
family, friends?" She knew herself that being alone was
sometimes better than having others around her, but this wasn't
why she asked. She wanted to make sure that if she was going to
teach Sara Beth, she would be able to leave here at the drop of
a hat. She wasn't sure where these teachings would take them,
but if it meant leaving here not to return, Sara Beth would have
to be willing to do that without question. Family or friends
could potentially hold her back.
