       Viridian City/Forest

       Viridian City is the first city new Pokemon trainers will cross
       on their Journey. Notable sites include a shop to buy supplies,
       and a closed down Gym. There are two paths outside of Viridian
       City. The first is to the west, and leads toward the Pokemon
       League. Trainers can walk along this path, however, there are
       guards preventing you from entering the League without eight
       badges. The Path to the North leads to the Viridian Forest.
       While Viridian Forest is just a short walk North of the City,
       the path through takes a full day. Expect to camp in the forest!
