Hello! I'm sure you are all wondering why I have gathered you
here! Well I come back to MoW to find out that the only daily
members are Rai, Urdy, Demonreach, Eri and Maru! Thank you for
staying loyal! But I have big ideas for MoW! I have tried
discussing this but I can't seem to get anyone to listen! So I'm
sending out a call and bringing you here for this! I have a
couple things to run by you and news!
First lets welcome quentan and Yume to the site! Welcome! Fresh
blood!
I'm trying to lure more people here!
Lure you back home! check!
So here we go!
Site affiliation! In my travels to other sites I have seen
several of them affiliate themselves with other rp sites! I
suggest we affiliate ourselves with them! They link us on their
site and we link them on ours! Free advertising! More new faces
The sites a mess! So many inactive profiles and members and rps.
Out of date information and the staff list is confusing. Who is
and isn't on the staff? I was told Raz isn't even coming back.
:( So we clean all that up and organize it! Giving it a fresh
clean list!
Get rid of staff who have actually left the site permanently and
put in some fresh staff that are more consistent! I'm not saying
throw our friends out of office here, I'm just saying we need a
more active staff. There should be a clause about that as staff!
If they have a good reason of course for being good that is
different!
I have some new rules I think should be added to the site, but I
need to read the list to see if they aren't there and I missed
them. Er, nevermind I can't find them. And that means new
members are going to have trouble with that. Rules should be out
in the open. That way if they are broken nobody can complain
because they were plainly out there!
A facebook page! I know we have the myb page bu we are not just
Myb members and that isn't the only audience we want right? We
like new people! So a page on facebook is also good for
advertisement.
Word of mouth; spread the word! Big things are happening on MoW!
Tell all the rpers you know! Drag em over!
A make over for the site, I know it's beautiful! But some of the
things on here aren't even used. And maybe we could clean it up.
Instead of one rp interest thread we could have a request thread
for each of them! One on ones! Multi player requests! Some new
colors!
Lets add some more group rps like on a site that I went to they
had a charp (I know we don't have actual chatrooms here but we
could turn it into a forum rp) Where people jumped in as they
wished and left as they wished and the setting never changed. It
would be like a lounge/bar/hotel for anycharacters you wish!
Some rper resumes! A way to tell people what you like in an rp!
What you don't like! That way if someone has common interests
something can be set up!
We could make an area specifically for libertine/sexy/smut rp!
There are laws against adults and minors so perhaps we should
separate the minors that may or may not come from the adults so
MoW doesn't get in trouble!
Shake things up! Come back to long forgotten rps and make them
live! I just tried to get the RW mow edition thing going! Go see
my post!
A list of the most up to date rp terms! New people are going to
bring terms that not everyone understands. If we could define
them on a list here people wouldn't have to go hunting for them,
ask or pretend they know. It would be available at request!
Move inactive accounts to a graveyard! And let them be called
out by staff if need be! That way we can see who is actually
here and who isn't!
An anon counseling section! Some people don't like to actually
announce their problems to the world and put their face behind
it! Maybe the anon part might help them come forth and ask for
help! where other rpers can read these anon help requests and
give advice to help them!
A section for different levels of rpers to strengthen their
skills. Each one teaching them how to make a strong post and how
to word things differently!
Make challenges and word of the day sections active again!
A rolling rp advertisement banner! Members post an rp request
and the banners show up in the announcements everywhere on the
site! Maybe it will catch their eye!
Ask members to come back! Maybe they will!
Last of all! Welcome back! Thank you! if you have concerns or
comments about my ideas I would love to hear them. Sorry if this
is not posted in the right section but I would love to make MoW
thrive again! Do you have ideas of your own?
I know we have all had our problems in the past. I am truly
sorry about that. But we grew into rp together! We came here
because we wanted to rp together after Myb! Of course there may
have been stops in the way but we all got here at some point
because we all love role play. I'm sorry for all the trouble I
have caused, but please! Do return to us! We love you here!
