Nova smiles softly as she talks about her own likes and
dislikes. Chuckling as she compliments him on his steak, bowing
his head gently while chuckling. "Well I'm glad you liked it. I
had to learn how to make some really unappetizing things
appealing to maintain a healthy body. So when I get something
really nice I can make it so much better." He shrugs lightly. He
then smiles and shakes his head at her next question. "Longed to
do something for pleasure huh? Hmm..." This question seemed to
puzzle him, having known nothing more than fighting and keeping
himself alive. "Well... I haven't really thought of that. To be
honest I've never really done anything just for pleasure. Except
fighting, but I think that's different than what you're talking
about. I don't think I know fully what you mean."
He then went quiet as she spoke of her story about he body she
inhabited being not her own initially. Nodding thankfully that
she started using his taken name, appreciating it in silence.
"Sounds like your story gets really twisted. A friend for a
friend. I like it, it's got a subtle poetic tone... It must have
been a very awkward period in your life." Hearing the wolves
howling he shook his head, knowing that it was just mere moments
before they went back to fighting amongst each other, trying to
find the new alpha. "I'm sure they are very confused right now.
But that won't last long, once they realize there is no one to
stop their squabbling they'll go to fighting. Then either be
splintered off or a new alpha will rise. The circle will
continue on effortlessly. Don't feel sorry for them, for they
would not show you that same kindness." He then scoots closer to
Elly and wraps his left arm around her, pulling her in. "Don't
worry, even bare-handed I am more than enough for them. Don't be
afraid." He says as he starts rocking with her very slowly in an
effort to sooth her. He then slowly slides the small unwrapped
leaf half filled with a bundle of dried stag jerky closer to
them. He then pulls up a small piece to his lips with his right
hand and begins to chew on it, his eyes once more gazing into
the fire. "Should probably get more firewood soon..." He says
absently, watching the large sticks he had put there initially
begin to break down.

How could she word it better? "Something you do for you. Like do
you like exploring new places? Discovering new things? Reading
books to learn more? Stuff like that." She bit her lip as a new
question popped into her mind a blush rising on her cheeks as
she didn't even want to ask it. The blush only rising more
though when he scooted over to comfort her. Rocking gently with
her. Gently she lay her head on his shoulder and stared into the
fire as he chewed his jerky. "Tonight has been pretty nice.
Thank you. I'm glad you took the time to help us." She smiled up
at him but relaxed against him, her cold skin touching to his
and growing warmer.
This is something Ally could never do for her. Ally could never
give her the sensations she was feeling. Her belly felt a burst
of warmth within in it. Must of been part of the attraction.
Her hands curled around his arm and she sighed contently. "This
is nice." Her smile was content, eyes staring into the fire. "My
actual name is Gabriella. And Ally's is Allison. But Ally and
Elly made us closer y'know?" She looked up at him. "But I like
Gabriella, and it would be nice to be called something other
than Elly. Something to make me unique from her. She gets all
the adventure, and I get to live in the shadow. I'm the
adventurous one, but she's the one living you know? OH listen to
me, moping about about my pitiful life, and here you are,
stopping to help a stranger or two when you have so much more to
do. I'm sorry." She bit her lip and thought. "I would come with
you. Help you find what you're looking for. Ally would too I'm
sure."
Elly thought about it. Would Ally really do it? Would she go
with him, and help him like that? She was more than sure she
would. Ally may be resistant at first. But Ally would do it.
Elly was good at pushing her out of her comfort zone. "I do
appreciate all you have done for us. Not just saving us, but the
food, the fire, the healing, the comforting, listening all of
it. You really are quite wonderful Nova." Then with a blush
growing ever more present on her cheeks she lifted her head from
his shoulder and brushed his hair aside so she could press a
soft kiss to his cheek.

Nova smirked at his own misunderstanding, now knowing that she
meant what did he enjoy. "Ah, well. I do like music." He then
leans over towards his robe and rifles through the pockets,
pulling out a small black iPod with skull shaped ear buds. He
then smiles happily and holds out his little device. "I
jury-rigged it from a few older models and I made it so I can
get any song I want on it. When I was dealing with those wolves
I was listening to Dubstep in one ear. It gets me in a good mood
and I can think and plot much faster that way." He smiles
happily, placing the small iPod into her lap, the earbuds
wrapped around the case. "I also like studying creatures and
people. You could call me a bestiary of sorts. But, that is a
trait more aligned for my fighting capabilities. I'm an adept
learner. What else... I dunno. I guess I've never really had
time to develop any real curiosities between being sealed away
and the search for that one person." He shrugs lightly. "I'm
glad to have helped, it's always nice meeting new people, none
such as yourself though. I am very appreciative for the
experience." He says smiling happily down to her. His head
resting on the top of her head.
He then hears about her name and nods thoughtfully. "Gabriella.
That's a very beautiful name. I like it a lot. Do you prefer
Gabby or any sort of short version? Or do you prefer the whole
name as it is?" He asked. His voice then grew quiet, his smile
faded fast, it even now resembles a pained frown. "I don't think
you understood me earlier when I said I might not survive the
encounter with that particular person. When I was young I was
told never to go looking for him, in fact I was told to learn
everything I could while completely ignoring him. I was told he
would devour me in an effort to reclaim what was his. However,
lately I have been having visions that would lead me to believe
he wouldn't be as hostile as I was lead to believe..." He says
his voice trailing off. "Are you sure you'll be able to handle
witnessing me die? Because it is still a very likely
possibility. I don't want you to go into something without
knowing all the details. Not only will the encounter likely end
in violence but the way there will be rife with things bigger
than a wolf..." He sighs lightly. Looking into the fire.
He then shivers as she kisses him, the compliments leading up to
it only made him smile happily. The kiss made him blush
uncontrollably, having never done so his face felt like it
burned. His left hand went up to cover his cheek. "Tch...
Uhm..." He shivers once more, chuckling lightly. "What was that
you just did... It felt amazing..." He then turned to face her,
his face just inches from hers. He then leans in and plants his
lips tightly to hers, his eyes close as their lips embrace. As
he pulls away he feels energy course through his whole body,
giving him a huge burst of testosterone. With a huge beaming
smile he gets up and begins jogging around the barn and it took
several minutes before he came back, lugging two huge boughs of
oak under his arms. Dropping them off several feet from the site
he quickly scoops up his katana, pulling it free of the sheath
in one quick motion. It's blood red blood shimmered lightly in
the pale moon light. With three swift and silent cuts he chops
off three large chunks. Sliding the katana back into the sheath
he then lugs the three small logs over to the fire, tossing them
in he sits back down next to her. "Sorry, I just felt so much
energy just then, I had to do something. What was that called?
What we just did?" He asks tilting his head, panting lightly at
the brisk pace he was keeping.

His head resting on hers sent chills down her spine. His earbuds
made her smile. The cute little skulls. "I like it." She
gestured his ipod. "Mines just blue with little diamonds in the
corners. Not real diamonds of course. I don't have it with me
though." In fact it had burned up in the fire from earlier. A
lot of things did. All the pictures from her and Ally's trip
there. Gone. Their clothes and everything. A lot of memories
burned up in that fire. They stored their memories there, from
before she wasn't imaginary. It was a bit heart breaking. When
he asked her about her name, she wasn't really sure how to
answer him. "I'm not sure really. I've only ever been called
Elly. So nick names just have never been anything that I had
other than Elly of course. But I'm glad you like my name." Her
own name though sounded foreign to her ears. "I guess you could
call me Gabby if you want. Ally wont be happy. She doesn't like
sharing things. She doesn't open up to people easily. It's why
she is not very nice to you. I'm the only person that she's
trusted that hasn't hurt her. Her parents even has. She's kind
of distant from them."
When she kissed his cheek Elly stifled a giggle. But when he
pressed his lips to hers she couldn't help but kiss back. She
felt sparks connecting their lips. Her stomach did a complete
flip and she felt as if her whole body was buzzing. She felt
more alive at this moment than she ever had. What did she do
with her hands? She decided to try put one in her lap and the
other hand reaching up to rest on the back of his neck, but it
didn't reach it in time. Instead he jumped up and began running
around, doing things very fast the way he had earlier. Did she
break him? She looked around utterly confused till he came back
with firewood and explained what happened. "Oh that made sense.
Wait you really don't know what that was called? It was a kiss.
My first and I'm assuming yours too?" She tilted her head. So he
must have been a virgin. Just like she was. She felt a pang of
sadness in her heart. Also confusion. He knew what attraction
was, but didn't know something like a kiss? She simply smiled
and moved her blue hair out of her face. "Well even though that
was my first kiss I think it was a pretty good one. I enjoyed it
at least."
The fire grew warmer, and the wolves had grown quiet. Ally was
quiet and had faded into the background. Was this what it was
like? To feel like you were the only two people in the world?
She could still feel her pulse going crazy. Her body still
seemed to be buzzing. She bit her lip, her cheeks still very
red.

Nova chuckled lightly as he now sat next to her. His eyes still
gazing deeply into the fire, it's randomness keeping him calm.
His mind was abuzz with feelings, mostly for her, these things
made him feel warm and fuzzy. He chuckled lightly at this
feeling aloud. His left hand slowly began to drift over to hers,
resting softly onto her hand. His fingers cupping around her
hands softly, squeezing a few times and then looking into her
eyes with a big smile. "Yeah, I really don't have a full grasp
on what I guess would be common knowledge. I feel like a child."
He says laughing lightly, once more gazing into the flames.
"Actually yes, that was my first. I love the feeling of your
lips... I... I feel like I could kiss you forever..." He smiles
happily. He shuddered lightly as his mind raced with very
provocative thoughts, memories beyond his own invading his mind
with scenes far beyond mere kissing. His cheeks suddenly become
bright red, a coy smile appears as he looks away from her.
"Yaknow... For some reason I keep getting these visions that
aren't my own. Like, I'm in another's body, doing... Very...
Uhm... Well... Beyond kissing. Yet I know I have not lived
beyond 6 years..." He shivered at the tightness in his chest and
his pants. The bagginess of them thankfully hiding the change in
tightness.
He then smiled as he looks back to her. "I enjoyed it very
much..." His blush brightens even further. "The kiss I mean! Not
that I wouldn't want to do THAT with you... Wait... No... I
mean..." He seems to get frustrated with himself and sighs,
looking back to the fire. "Ah... I'm not good at speaking to
women..." He chuckles and shakes his head. He then looks to her
once more, leaning in slowly he presses his lips tightly to
hers. His lips pressing tightly to hers, his right hand now
looping around to cup her cheek as he pressed tighter to her.
Kissing her deeply for several minutes before slowly pulling
away with a delirious smile. "Wow... I do love kissing you...
It's like something in my stomach flits around like hundreds of
butterflies..." He then looks at the moon, having past it's peak
and now working on the descent into morning. "We should probably
get some sleep and find something to do in the morning... I'll
sleep out here under the stars. I'm sure there are plenty of
comfortable places in the barn to sleep. Nothing suits me better
than the ground." He pats the ground with his right hand,
marking the spot where he'll sleep for the night. "Are you
sleepy yet?" He asked her as he yawned lightly, smiling at her
weakly, fatigue slowly setting in.

She blushed as he explained the things he was imagining. "Maybe
it's your soul that is ageless. I mean why else would you know
this at six. Though I must say, you are quite attractive for a
six year old. If you think about it I've only actually been
living since I was 16 so that would make me 6 years older than
you." Though she didn't see the laws of age applying here. Soon
enough they were kissing again after he flustered himself trying
to explain what he was feeling, and they kissed for a long time.
She rather enjoyed this, though she was curious while kissing
him, opening her mouth slightly and running her tongue along his
lip to taste it. When they finally came up for air he decided it
was bedtime. She could feel herself getting tired. So she
nodded. "Yeah I could use sleep."
However when she stood up her knees shook. Legs feeling like
jello. She sat back down and rubbed them. Then stood back up
trying not to seem like anything was wrong. "Good Night Bl-
Nova." She waved over her shoulder and looked around. Then went
over and curled up with her sister. Covering her arms with her
hoodie, sharing it with her sister. So many thoughts swirled
through her mind. Thoughts of him and how this happened. Would
he be a different person when he woke up? Would the other one be
mad at him? She lay her head on her arm and fell into a fitful
sleep, till morning she fell off the hay bale and hit the
ground. A small squeak of surprise erupted from her body as she
woke up. Ally sat up right away and looked down. "Are you okay
Elly? What happened? Where's Nova?"

It was early morning before the smell of eggs, bacon and hash
browns pervaded the air. Nova was leaning over, tending the fire
and the pans of food he had been preparing. His body resembled
that of Blood Moon's, clearly he had won the mental fight last
night upon waking. He had put on all his clothes, his mask hung
on the back of his neck, a small string wrapping around the
front of his neck loosely. He smiled as the food had began to
darken nicely, his constant supervision over the food was
strenuous, making sure each piece was cooked perfectly, wanting
very much to start influencing Ally's opinion of him. "I hope
she likes breakfast..." He mutters silently to himself. Finally
finishing the food he places small piles into the same type of
leaf used to wrap up the jerky he had been munching on last
night.
He felt anxious, even though he had already met them he still
felt like he had to impress them. Placing the makeshift plates
on large rocks he had dragged over that they could use as
chairs. Next to each plate was a small pile of 3 apples, not
knowing how much they could put away he makes a few pounds worth
of food. His ears then twitch lightly as he starts hearing them
stir from within the barn. His excitement getting to him as he
scoops up each makeshift plate and begins to carry them into the
barn, a sort of breakfast in bed. But upon using his foot to
open the doors to the barn he ends up getting his foot stuck and
he slowly falls onto his back. "Damn, damn, damn!" He grunts as
he hits the ground, still somehow managing to keep the plates
upright, preventing any spillage. As he chuckles and slowly sits
up he sighs and holds up each leaf-plate. "Hope you guys like
eggs, bacon and hashbrowns! I also found some apples behind the
barn in a big apple tree. He smiles as he makes his way over to
their bails of hay they had used for beds. Setting each plate in
front of Ally. "Hello, good morning Ally!" He smiles happily. He
then chuckles, noticing Elly on the floor. Walking over to her
he then crouches down and hands her her plate. "I found the
majority of these here on the farm. The chickens still roost yet
the pigs have gone feral. Must've been why the wolves chased you
down here." He shrugs lightly before starting to dig into his
food, smiling as happily as ever as he ate.

The first thing both girls realized is the delicious smell of
food floating into their noses. "MMMMM" They said in unison
before looking over to see Nova slipping and falling. Neither
plate spilled at all though. Ally bit back a giggle and looked
at Elly as she reacted with great worry. Elly reached out and
almost got up, until he got up alright by himself. "Oh my gosh!
Are you alright?" She bit her lip and smiled as he came walking
over. Ally stared at him like he was an alien. "I'm not hu.-"
Elly hit Ally in the leg and cut her off. "OW!"Ally cried out,
and rubbed her leg before reaching out and grabbing a plate. It
did smell good. The little silverware was so cute. She showed it
to Elly who only shrugged. "If you would have ate last night you
would have noticed!"
Ally lifted a bite to her mouth, sniffing it to be sure before
putting it in. "MMM!" She looked up to Nova and gave him a
thumbs up before putting another bite it. Elly bit her lip and
looked up at him. "It tastes wonderful. That's what she means."
She giggled and looked back at Ally, who was really enjoying the
food. Elly and Ally both froze when he brought up the wolves
again. That had been terrifying. Elly elbowed Ally who put her
plate down. "Thanks for uh rescuing us last night, we both
really appreciate it." She gave Elly a look that screamed out:
Happy? Before picking up her plate and digging into the food
again. They were both still alive, so it was pretty safe to say
he didn't want to kill them. "So," She said between bites. "How
late did you guys stay up last night? I know I was so tired when
I went to bed." Elly's face became beet red and she was suddenly
very interested in her plate.

Nova smiles softly as Elly almost tries to help him. Smiling as
he ate next to her, he chuckles as he watches Elly make Ally be
nice to him. "She doesn't have to force kindness, I'm sure once
she gets used to me everything will be fine." He then goes back
to finishing his food, smiling happily, finally feeling like he
has a family. A small tear drips from his right eye upon
realizing this. Yet this sets off more accosting in his mind
from his counterpart Black Sun. 'They don't mean anything Nova,
they are not related to you and never will be. Stop trying to
find things in places where they don't exist.' Nova still
shedding small tears he shook his head. "You don't know that..."
He said absently, smiling and crying in hopefulness. He then
realized his tears when they hit his hand, looking at the
droplets as if they were aliens, then it registers. Wiping his
face he laughs lightly. "Sorry... I was daydreaming something.."
He said, his eyes locking into Elly's as his tears dry away,
very subtly hinting at what he was thinking of as he gazes into
her eyes. Realizing yet another blunder he blushes gently before
shaking his head. Looking straight down at the floor, noting
that his eyes will only get him into trouble.
He then smiles softly as Ally asks about their night, his blush
increasing lightly. "Well... We gazed at the stars... I ended up
gathering some more wood for the fire too! Uhm..." He looks
around for something to distract him, not wanting to admit to
anything if Elly wasn't going to. "Oh... You asked how late... I
would guess well into the A.M." He gritted his teeth and just
barely inaudibly mutters. "Damn..." Having realized once more he
screwed up. Truly he was bad at this and he didn't wanna show
that he was. Instead, he merely looked back to Ally with a
smile. "I'm glad you like the food, how was your sleep? Have any
good dreams?" He asked with a smile, but once more the smile
turned into dread as he forgot in his morning haze that Ally was
prone to horrible nightmares, or at least so he was told. "Oh
shit... I'm sorry..." He then looks away ashamed before once
more realizing he had made another mistake; would Ally get mad
that Elly shared some personal information? He hoped not, they
seemed to be starting off rather nicely today, before his
blunder after blunder made him feel really anxious and nervous.

What were they hiding from her? Ally could feel it! She felt as
if you could cut the tension in the air with a knife. She
narrowed her eyes at Nova, then back to Elly. "Excuse me Nova, I
need to have a word with my sister alone." She sat her plate
down and pulled on Elly's arm. "But..." Elly cried looking at
her plate. "But no!" Elly put her plate down and walked outside
of the barn with her. When Ally had her up by the road she felt
like she was out of his range of hearing. "What the hell did you
do last night and don't tell me nothing, I can tell!"
Elly sighed. She was busted. "We talked for a while, it was
nice. I really like him....then well we kissed, a couple of
times it was nice." Ally's eyes turned to slits from glaring.
"I'm gonna kill him." Before Elly could stop her Ally stomped
back to the barn. Staring straight at Nova. "You....are dead."
She ran after him, hand out to slap him. "Did you think you were
gonna sleep with her huh?" Elly grabbed her hand. "ALLY ENOUGH!
What does it matter to you if I like someone huh? Why can't I
find happiness?" Ally turned on her. "WHAT DOES IT MATTER? UH IF
YOU HADN'T NOTICED HE'S A STRANGER. OR DO YOU NOT UNDERSTAND
THAT? Are you so stupid that you trust someone you don't know?"
The slap echoed through the barn. Ally's face grew red from
where Elly's hand made contact. "I am a grown ass woman Ally. I
can make my own choices. He has been nothing but nice to us and
you've been nothing but a cunt." She spat the words out with
such anger.
Ally threw her hands up. "You know what. I'm out of here. Have
fun with stranger danger here." Elly stopped all the anger
flooding from her and becoming panic. " ALLY! WAIT!" She called
after her. Ally turned. "No, leave me alone. I'm heading to the
city to go home. Don't bother coming inside your stuff will be
waiting outside. See if he'll be so willing to help you now
princess, you're on your own. I for one am not hanging around
with this fucking creep another minute. Best of wishes to you
both." Ally's words cut like a knife. Elly, dropped to her knees
there crying. She had just lost her best friend in the world.
Tears streamed her face. Ally didn't look back. And held her
head high as she walked to the road and started to walk away.
