Nova smirks lightly as he catches Ally constantly giving him
little glares here and there. His only response was to smile
happily in return, not letting himself get bested by someone
younger than himself, or presumably so. He nods as she talks
about the Mana Tear. "Yes, I learned that Mana mean's life, and
the way it's distilled reminds me of the tear drops of angels.
Thus, Mana Tears." He said smiling, noting how Ally began to
grow tired. At least the least tolerable one was getting tired
first, he himself not feeling the least bit tired. "Look whose
tired. G'night Ally, sweet dreams." He nodded once before
returning his gaze back to Elly. He simply smiles awkwardly,
chuckling as he finds it hard to look away, finally doing so by
taking a bite directly from the remainder of his steak. Chewing
on it as his eyes drift back into the fire. His eyes carefully
watching the way the fire bobbed and weaved.
He then looks into the sky, swallowing his bite while staring at
the moon. "Beautiful night... I love the stars. In a world of
change they are the only constant. I don't even care if they
aren't the same ones from last night, they still shine brightly
over non-settled areas. He then stares back into the fire, once
more his mind echoing with the words of another. 'You done
trying to smooth talk that one? Your lack of will disturbs me
boy. Shrug that sappy shit off, we have work to do!' It yells,
taunting him. Nova's hands quickly shoot up, clutching his ears
and shaking his head. His eyes shut tightly. "Stop it!" He
grunts through gritted teeth. Curling his body halfway into the
fetal position he sighs, relaxing finally and forces a smile,
looking back up to Elly. "Sorry, migraines..." His voice trailed
off, not capable of hiding his tone. He then finishes his steak
and tosses the leaf used as the plate. "Best part is, no mess."
He chuckles breaking the wooden fork and sticks the tiny blade
into the ground blade first, pushing it all the way down past
the hilt. "It'll break down in time." He says wiping his hands.
He then sides off his mask and sets it aside next to him.
Sliding off his robe he reveals his slender and lithe body. His
every inch was flush with health and vigor. Each ridge of his
abdomen sculpted perfectly tight. His blood red hair drapes
delicately over his chest and partially down his back. "Ahh, the
cool air fells good..." He says closing his eyes and smiles
happily.

His voice was able to put Elly in a trance. The words he spoke
poetic. His company was more enjoyable than she spent with any
but Ally. She did start to worry though when he hit his head and
cried stop it. Who was he talking to. His explanation followed
quickly though and she nodded in understanding. "Must be
miserable." She murmured. He seemed fine now at least. She
stared into the fire for a minute, wishing her sister had not
been so rude. She really could have been nicer to him. Elly had
always been more social than Ally was though. But being
originally an imaginary friend did that to a person. Made them
desire for friendship. Maybe that's why she was so drawn to this
stranger.
Elly bit her lip as she looked at her sister. "I guess she's a
bit off put now. But as she gets to know a person she is
different to them. She has a hard time trusting people. If she
didn't bring me into her life when we were six she wouldn't talk
to me." She chuckled and after finishing her steak followed his
motions with the utensils. "You're pretty crafty. A real
MacGyver." Her smile reached her eyes as the flames danced and
reflected in them. "I like that. Mana Tears. Sounds fitting."
Her mind had wandered. Back to the Mana Tears. She wanted
another taste but intended to save it for when she needed it.
She could feel everything differently. Better. His eyes looked
more ruby colored than before. That little sip did all that? She
bit her lip as her mind wandered into thoughts of what else it
could make her feel."
The thought train was interrupted and came to a screeching halt
when he removed his robe, and the flames threw shadows and light
on his body that illuminated the very shape of him. He was lean
yet you could see the strength he held. Hiding just beneath the
surface. His skin town only strengthened by the fire. She looked
back to the fire upon realizing that she was staring at him. "It
is pretty nice. But I like the way all temperatures feel in one
way or another. It's nice to be able to feel anything when the
first half of my life was spent not feeli..." She trailed off
realizing she had revealed a very questionable part of herself.
Did he catch on? Her heart began to race as she looked at him.
Her cheeks heating up with embarrassment and the rush of blood
after the adrenaline caused by fear. If he caught on, she would
have to explain that she wasn't real at one point in her life
and if that happened secrets just might start pouring out faster
than she expected.

Nova smirked lighly as she complimented him, had he not focused
on modern human media he would've been completely confused by
the reference. "Ah, yes. The clever jury-rigging man. I guess I
could be a kin to him. Thank you." He chuckles lightly when she
began to talk about herself, though he had trained exclusively
on picking up minor details he let the few tidbits slip by,
noting her reluctance and the slipping of the tongue. "Ah... I
see. Must have been quite the change then. No need to explain.
Everything has it's time. Since she was 6 huh?" He chuckles and
shakes his head, leaning in a little closer. "If we're gonna let
slip some information, I'll contribute aswell." His voice grew
quieter, trying to muffle his voice so Ally couldn't hear. "I'm
not even 6 yet." He winks and laughs quietly to himself,
scooting close to Elly.
He then laughs lightly while sitting closer to her. He then
unties the scabbard from his hip and the gun holster. Setting
the two very unique weapons in front of them on the ground by
his robe. "Yaknow. I've spent very little time in this world,
yet I have memories that date back thousands of years. My whole
life is nonsense, so I seek the one person who can tell me
what's what. I know that I feel, just as strongly as anyone can.
If not a little more so. Maybe I'll tell you my origin story
some other time. But for now let's just say I am exactly who I
appear to be, yet I'm nowhere near. I genuinely care about your
and your sister's well-being." He then shakes his head and
shrugs. "I feel like I can trust you with this information and
not freak out about it. Especially considering your not the only
one with a secret or two." He then looks once more into the sky,
tracing the constellations with his fingertips. Scooting up even
closer to her, also trying to point them out for her as well.

Without her saying, he understood that she really didn't want
Ally to hear, and she was grateful that she didn't have to say
it out loud. But his story brought more confusion to her than
her own. How could a man be less than six and yet thousands of
years old? Was he ageless? His story only grew more confusing.
He was sitting so close she could barely think. "I am glad you
can trust me, I owe you the same respect...." She bit her lip
and looked into his amazing eyes. Could she really open up? Let
all of that out? She needed to when all that knew the truth was
Ally and her parents. They even moved to hide the fact that Elly
just showed up out of the blue. Ally and her swore to never tell
anyone. "I want to tell you." She didn't know if she was trying
to convince him or herself. She really did want to tell someone
about who she really was. Where she came from. He moved so close
they were almost touching and she looked at the stars for a
while with him. Oohing and Ahing at them for a while, but soon
she took a deep breath. "I need to share this."
She adjusted herself, so that their knees were still close but
she was looking at him. "I was born six years old, well really
sixteen." She closed her eyes, was she really doing this? "I
wasn't solid when I came to Ally. She needed me most in her life
when she was six. She barely spoke. Her grandmother had raised
her till that point because her mother had an addiction. And her
grandmother died. Her father was a cheater, and Ally didn't know
any life but the one her grandmother showed her. She wouldn't
let either of her parents in at all. She needed me. So I came to
be. I was her age and we grew up together. At first her parents
thought she was having a nervous break down. And they even tried
to exercize me like a ghost. Well when Ally was fifteen she
found some new friends. And I started to fade away. Ally got
scared and she looked for a way to bring me to life. So I could
stay." She looked back at Ally to make sure she was sleeping.
"Well on her sixteenth birthday a book appeared in her room. In
it the spell she needed. But it required the blood of her first
living friend. Her the one that got her into magic. and it
needed all of it. She released something else in doing so
though. Something that wears my face and haunts her dreams. And
we have been inseparable ever since. But,"She took a deep breath
and sighed. "I am so tired of being Elly and Ally. Just once I
want my own friend. Live my own life a little. I don't want to
lose Ally. But I want to be an individual too. I don't have my
own birthday and here we are twenty eight years old. I've helped
Ally find love, but I've never had any friends but Ally's. And
that's great. but I'm lonely. Theres more....I'm afraid of her.
I'm afraid if I strive to be my own person, she'll turn me back
to what I was. Her imaginary friend."

Nova smirked as she opened up, knowing how easily he made it for
her to open up. Nodding silently as he listened to her story. He
then began to dwell on the fact that a simple book caused so
much. It fascinated him. His gaze seemed to be fixed on the
flames as she spoke. "Peculiar... I think your existence is tied
to hers. Say, if she were to die, you would also. I'm not so
sure it's that she can simply wish it all away without some
similar penalty... No artifacts so easily found are purely
benevolent." He then shrugs lightly, his smile had been gone for
a while now. His facial expressions showing that he was very
deep in thought. "Now this is only a guess. Besides, it sounds
like you two love each other very much. I think your fear of
well... fear... is what's holding you back. So long as you
remember who your best friend is, and remind her you still care,
I think you'll be fine..." He tilts his head, his own words
having a wisdom that he simply did not possess. Where did he
suddenly have such insight.
He then looks back at Elly. "Yeah, again, I can only guess as to
your situation. I hope what I said is of at least little
comfort. Though I'm not exactly sure where I got such an idea,
it just felt like the right thing to say..." He says shrugging
lightly, a small smile now starting to break his face. He began
watching the wisps of varying colors dance around each other,
creating beautiful streaks of light in the sky. "Yaknow... Now
that I think about it. I find your story incredibly familiar...
I too was created, yet for a far more sinister reason." He
shakes his head and then looks to Ally, smirking as she seems to
sleep peacefully. "Funny how little humans realize how much of
an impact they have on the worlds around them. A theory keeps
coming back to mind, there have even been movies and books you
may have read about the Butterfly Effect. When something as
small as the beat of butterfly wings in america has the power to
set off a nuclear reactor in Russia. Not quite as dramatic, but
the principle is the same." He says smirking at the
philosophical concept. His smile then fades once more. "I was
made in a lab, with a series of very unique cells harvested from
the corpse of a Dead God. Created with the sole purpose of
'Bringing humanity to it's rightful place'. Filthy fuckers used
me in countless experiments. That's not even the worst part..."
He sighs, grudgingly holding onto one last detail. "Well... When
I said that I had headaches earlier..." Just then he was
interrupted by more screaming in his head. 'Silence! Don't tell
her about how twisted we are. You know what fine, fuck it. Your
a lost cause. When she finally decides your not worth the risk
we can continue our search. Just get this little ordeal out of
the way and be done with it!' It yelled. Nova then once more
clutched the sides of his head and barely muffling his yelling.
"Enough!" He snarled viciously, a very deep and ominously
animalistic snarl. "I'm sorry. I have what could be called
multiple personalities. Though we are aware of each other and we
use the same name, Nova. We just use titles to differenciate
between the variants. For example, I am Blood Moon." He bows his
head gently before her. "Still call me Nova though, it is the
name I have chosen."
Nova then chuckles and shakes his head. "There, now me and you
are fully even. You know me just as intimately as I now know you
miss Elly. I feel a soul in you. I can smell it too. You have a
beautiful soul. Both you and your sister do." He nods once more,
having felt their souls the moment he helped them with their
wolf problem.

He understood so much, without understanding how. She almost
wanted to cry. His advice seemed so clear. It was almost as if
he knew more about her than she or Ally knew about herself.
"Thank you..." She told him quietly. It was such a relief to
finally talk about it. When he started opening up to her, he
seemed to have as much of a struggle as he did. Their lives were
so different. Yet the same all at the same time. When his
expression changed, as if someone had interrupted during his
explanation she almost reached out. It looked almost painful.
She folded her hands into her lap and remained silent. Face
taking on an unreadable expression. He had multiple
personalities? He wasn't entirely the man he said he was, yet he
was exactly the same. She didn't say anything until he
introduced himself and spoke of his soul.
She reached over and squeezed his hand, scooting back over so
the side of her body was touching to his. Then leaned up and
pressed a soft kiss to his cheek. "Thank you for sharing with
me. It's nice to meet you Blood Moon. If you prefer I will call
you Nova. But I kind of like Blood Moon, and would like to call
you such in private." Was this what she was supposed to do? She
felt such a connection with him. Something she couldn't just
pass by. The fire still crackled warmly and it instilled a new
feeling on her. One that she wasn't sure how to react to. She
could feel goosebumps rise on her flesh and a sense of anxiety
fill her. What was this? She wanted him near her, and she wanted
to push him away. No she wanted to be touching him. His flesh
against hers. She wanted to know his soul. She ran her hand
along his face. "I am glad to have met you. You and I are a lot
alike and so different. I would love to get to know you so much
more. I knew deep down there was a reason I didn't fear you.
That I felt as if I could trust you. Thank you for giving me
tonight, Blood Moon. Even if we part paths and never meet again
I'll always remember you."
Her stomach felt weird, it kind of tightened, and it felt like
little things were grazing against her organs and tickling them.
What was this? Why was she feeling this. "That dear was alright
wasn't it? I have a tickly feeling. Inside of me. I don't
understand it." She bit her lip and looked to him, genuinely
concerned with the way her body was feeling. She didn't go into
the detail that her lower mouth felt like it was warming and
slightly tightening. Or that her nipples felt tingles in them.
It was all too embarrassing to say, something she didn't even
want to talk to Ally about. Was she ill? Did she have a bad
reaction to the Mana Tears? She was kind of scared and excited
at the same time. And where her body was touching his tingled
too. In a different way. What was going on with her?

Nova smiled happily, knowing she didn't find him to be too
peculiar. He only chuckles lightly to himself as he watches her
get more and more comfy around him. Then he looks at her almost
in shock when she said his title over his name. Only ever having
heard Black Sun call him that it caught him off guard. Shaking
his head with another small laugh. "Yeah that might take some
getting used to. Nobody really knows my Titled name. Only person
who does call me that irritates me. But feel free to use it in
private. Nobody else needs to know about the other. Oh, his name
is Black Sun. Might as well tell you a bit about him. In a
word... He's dedicated." As he said this, his mind once more
echoed with words. 'Damn right...' This makes Nova chuckle. As
she spoke about her ability to trust him he smiled, yet was
quickly lost when she said something about parting paths and
never seeing each other again. "Well, I wouldn't say that. My
journey has overlapping paths. I'm sure this won't be our last
encounter." He said smiling as he looked back to her.
She then began talking about how she felt when around him,
starting it out with asking how the Deer was. "Ah, the Stag?
Killed it with my blade, one swift cut and it was over
peacefully. He didn't suffer in the least. That tickling feeling
might signify a human emotion. Seems your experiencing
attraction. Least that's how it was explained to me. A series of
sickly sweet feelings that guide behaviors toward procreation as
a species." He said chuckling as he shrugs. Looking at her lips
as she bit down he only laughs a little more knowingly. "Yeah,
I'm positive now that's what it is. Have I really bothered you
this much? Well, that's certainly interesting. Haven't ever
experienced the sensation myself, I've been pretty preoccupied
with my journey." He then rests his left hand on her knee and
smiled happily. "It's alright, it's all natural. Best get your
emotions out now before Black Sun takes over, eventually when he
gets annoyed enough he takes over." He said nodding once more
before turning to face the fire. It's crackling noises soothed
his restless mind. "Your right though, you and I are very
similar. Both a product of another's design, and both with a
very weighty goal. And how would you get to know me more? I've
just about told you everything about me. I do feel at ease near
you, like I can calm down further." He said nodding once, his
ruby eyes still fixed on the fire.

Attraction. That's what this was. And he didn't seem bothered by
it. But how did she get it out? Black Sun didn't seem very nice.
But he was determined. Which was good. "I think you're right
Blood Moon." Why did he just look into the fire? Maybe he was
trying to be nice. Probably didn't have time for some girl he
barely knew fawning over him anyway. She thought about Ally, and
all Elly had just said to Nova. Or Blood Moon. If Ally had known
how would she react? Would she be hurt? Undoubtedly. But maybe,
just maybe, Ally would understand. "Well I know the story of
your Origin Blood moon. I know where you are going, sort of. But
who are you? Do you prefer stag to pork? Are you good at math?
What do you want to do after you find out the truth of you? What
is your favorite color. There are so many things not related to
your destination that I could find out about you. Can you swim?
What do you fear?" She was just naming off random things that he
could share with her. But maybe they weren't the right
questions.
Ally rolled over in her sleep to Nova and Elly standing over
her. They were whispering to themselves. "I know she is a
whiner, I wish she would just die. Here's an idea. Lets kill
her!" Elly laughed and placed her hand on Nova's chest. "We
could roll around in her blood and become the pack leaders!"
Ally sat up. Into the blade of Nova's Katana. "NO ELLY I'M
SORRY!" Blood poured from her mouth. "Elly please. I shouldn't
have done this to you!" She clutched her stomach, organs falling
out, She struggled to scoop them back in. "Why Elly?! I didn't
mean to hurt you!"
Elly looked over at Ally when she sat up and started yelling.
She rushed to her side. Instead of waking her though she leaned
down and whispered in her ear. "It's okay. I love you Ally, I'm
not angry with you. No one is hurting you, you are safe!" She
continued to murmur in her sleeping sisters ear, the whispers
turning to a song they had made up when they were 8. "You're my
best friend, and I'm yours. By your side, I'll be of course.
Never will I go away. My best friend and sister...I'm here to
stay!" Ally smiled in her sleep and sighed happily. Mumbling. "I
love you Elly." Then she rolled over again and found herself
pleasantly dreaming. Elly took off her hoodie and covered Ally
up with it. "Sleep well Ally. I'll be here with you. All night.
I'm not going anywhere." She kissed her sisters cheek and turned
to look at Blood Moon. "These are the nightmares I told you
about."

Nova's smile once more temporarily waned as she continued to
call him Blood Moon. Though he was safe with the name that the
two personas created he was still very unfamiliar with it being
used by others. He shuddered lightly, his gaze still fixated on
the flames. "Please. For now call me Nova. Your the only person
who knows about it and hearing it aloud still weirds me out.
Soon I'll be set with it, but not now. Sorry." He chuckles as he
hears her battery of questions, nodding gently to each one. The
answers coming slowly. "Well... I told you my name, so I guess
you know as much as I do about who or what I am... I guess I
prefer the fully matured Stag to pork. Though I do enjoy a good
sandwhich of pulled pork..." He smiles and closes his eyes,
rubbing his stomach with his right hand. "Mmm, now I'm hungry...
Oh yeah, where was I?" He smirks and nods. "That's right. Well,
I suppose I am alright at math, I am more into principles, I
could tell you the way things work, but not the why." He then
looked puzzled at the next question. It held some weight to him.
"The truth? Well... I don't quite know. When I find this person
I know one thing for sure, I might not survive it. I am very
much ready for that day though, every fiber of my being is dead
set on meeting him..." He finds himself giving a gender to the
person, even though he has no idea who this person is.
He then chuckles at the next question, his own eyes now gaze
down to his clothing resting on a rock next to them, their
bright red color being a similar trait. "Well I would think my
favorite color is a bit obvious. I love red. It's a passionate
color is it not?" He says then looking into her eyes, winking
softly to her, his right canine biting his lower lip. "Oh I'm a
very capable swimmer. Even fought and slew a massive sea serpent
when my ship was brought down. Not a big fan of open water
anymore though..." He shudders lightly, remembering having
almost drowned. "I think I fear oceans now. But it's not a fear
that would stop me from going over it again. I have confidence
in man-made creations for transportation. I just think this
world has another agenda." He chuckles once more before his
smile once again fades away at Ally's dreaming. He quickly
follows Elly to Ally's side and watches as she is comforted by
her sister. Nodding with a smile as she does so, finding it
adorable. "Nightmares hmm? I don't dream. When I sleep my body
shuts down but my consciousness is thrust into a whole 'nother
world in my head, where the only two occupants are me and him.
All we do is fight until one is bloodied and broken, whoever
wins the scrap gets the body first thing in the morning. It's a
ritual we go back and forth on many occasions. I try not to
sleep." He whispers chuckling lightly as they walk back out to
the fire.
His eyes once more go back to the fire, as if mesmerized by the
flames. He stretches out his body, his body illuminated by the
flames. "Feels good to be out and about. To wander and roam. So,
question. You know what nonexistence is, have you brought
anything otherworldly with you? Ally has the book, yet you have
not exhibited anything otherworldly. Even though you yourself
are certainly exotic." He says gazing into her hair and then
back into her eyes. Smiling happily as they stare into each
other.

She was honestly glad not to have the relationship with Ally
that he had with Black Sun. But she did feel like she knew him
better. So it was time to share about her. "Well my favorite
color is blue. If you can't tell by my hair." She sat next to
him and stared into the fire as well. This time not sitting so
close as to touch him. "I would say that cereal is my favorite
food, but after tonight your stag beat that out. I love to swim,
I feel free and weightless in the water. Like it could carry me
anywhere. You already know what terrifies me. But I also have a
fear of dogs. I think they knew I was there when I wasn't real
you know? As for what I brought with me I don't know. I came
from Ally's mind you know." The fire crackled and popped and
looked dazzling.
The chill of the air got to her though, goosebumps rising on her
arms and legs. She scooted closer to the fire and put her hands
out to warm them. "So Bl- Nova, have you ever longed to do
anything besides this? Something for pleasure, instead of hunt
down something that could kill you?" She stayed with someone who
could could kill her and the thought stayed in her mind about
what came back with her. Her poor friend that was sacrificed for
her own life. "Well you know, I took over the sacrificed body.
And it changed to suit what I looked like. So maybe it's not
what I brought with me, but what never left?" She looked with
worry to Ally. Could that be what it was? That her friend didn't
leave, and she was angry with her? In the distance she heard a
wolfs howl. Then several others joined in. Their song was very
sad. Probably for the loss of their leader.
She brought her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around
them looking at the mound of dirt under which lay the body of
the wolves leader. "They must be so lost. So alone and
frightened." She rested her chin on her knees and stared into
the fire. Mourning inside with the wolves for their loss. Yeah
they tried to kill her and Ally, but it was only nature.
