A Game Of Thorns
By: The Nightingale Date: October 6, 2015, 10:22 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
The Capital City was a very large city that homed many rich and
powerful families. A large stone castle could be seen from the
streets rising into the clouds. Every building within the mossy
stone walls were made of some type of wood and stone. The
Capital City had many buildings both homes, and factions. Stalls
were set up in the City square for local merchants to sell their
good, usually they were farmers selling crop.
There were neatly kept trees growing around the cities and
flower beds hanging from windows. Some vines hung around with
budding morning glories hanging from them. Animals strayed
around the town a few dogs, couple of cats, and tons of easy to
liberate horses.
There wasn't much poor in the town since winter just passed
three months ago and killed off most with hypothermia. The poor
homeless that lived proved themselves valuable to certain
factions. Many of the homeless live under ground in the Ratways.
The Ratway is a large underground city basically were those
certain factions make their base and homes. Thieves, Murderers,
Homeless, the ill, the corrupt, and even some necromancer's
stayed under there. Only those would be welcomed too. Other wise
the Ratway is quite dangerous and full of sketch ledges and
bridges rigged with traps.
Many Brothels, Inns, Shops, and bars inhabited the the city,
many with informants or some link to certain factions allowing
and hiding their own to roam around town safely to conduct
operations. In this city you can literally become anything. You
just have to watch out for the city guards whom are trained
military men, military men who if they catch you depending on
the crime will take you to the Facility. The Facility worse then
any kind of jail, those who go in don't ever come out...
-----------------------
It was late in the day and the sun was slowly beginning to set,
the streets entirely busy with commuters either riding their
horses or walking. Many were going home but most would be going
back out to spend their hard on gold on booze, sex, or drugs;
bars and brothels eagerly awaited their patronage. It wasn't
quite time yet for them to be full but Anemone found herself
there anywhere. Dressed in knee high boots (dagger sticking out
of the right side), a pair of tight black pants, and a black
short almost tube top shirt with a long black hooded cloak
handing off the bar counter. Her studded belt around her waist
carrying her sheathed sword. She had arm bracers on, and her
long hair messily doing what ever it wanted. Her nail tapped on
the counter repeatedly as she waited for things to pick up, she
sighed out loud and rested her elbo on the counter, her face
resting on her fist sort of mushing her face.
"This town is so washed up."

The doors to the bar slammed open with a loud thud against the
wood of the walls. A loud, obnoxious, laugh being heard as a
blonde haired man stumbled in. His legs tightly covered by grey,
torn, and faded jeans. Two black studded belts hanging from his
thick waist. Somehow supporting the weight of three chains
hanging off his left side as two hang off his right side.
Wearing a black, unzipped, hoodie that exposed his bare, nearly
completely tattooed, chest. His blue eyes clenched shut as he
sung out; swinging a bottle about. "The devil went down to
georgia!" His voice seeming to slur off as he progressively made
his way to the bar: lazily plopping on one of the chair as he
spun it to face the bar tender. Slamming his massive fist on the
bar as he called out. "Ey! Hit me!" The bar tender turning with
a sigh of irritation. "You got money for that?" Enquebis only
looking down on his lap with a chuckle as he nodded his head.
"... Oh yeah." He spoke with a drunken chuckle. Picking up a
salt shaker as he dumped the salt in his hands. The salt glowing
a deep gold before Iit slowly turned to silver coins. "There ya
go!" Letting out a laugh as he dropped the coins on the bar.
"Whatever ya got, bar keep!"
Behind of Enquebis a young man cautiously walked in; toying with
his sleeves. Speaking out as the blue haired man made his way
over to him. "E-Enquebis.... We really should get going...
Max'll have my hide..." Enquebis only letting out a laugh as he
looked back: gripping his arm around the blue haired man's
shoulders. "Oh, Snow! You focus on all the wrong things! Try to
have some fun!" Snow only looking down with a sigh. Speaking in
that same nervous tone. "O-Okay Enquebis... If you say so..."
With that Snow sat down on the bar stool next to Enquebis; the
bar tender approaching Snow with an impatient glance. "What'll
it be?" Snow only slipping his hand into his hair as he spoke to
the bartender. "Oh, um..... I guess I'll have a coke...." His
green eyes never so much as looking up from the bar.

Anemone who was sitting one chair away from him, looked over at
him while still resting her arm. The loud chaotic man storming
in drew her attiention or maybe it was the silver coins clinking
together on the bar top. "Well well, would you look at that,"
She thought to herself, "someone interesting."
She crossed her legs and with her other hand reached to pull her
drink closer. The smell of the whiskey filled her nose. So she
leaned up to take a swig of the glass, interestingly listening
to them bicker. The one, she began to think to her self as she
swigged the glass some more. The one is very outgoing, wild
even, meanwhile his...friend...is quite responsible, shy, how
...adorable. She as she finished her glass, she began to smirk
and leaned back to stretch out on the stool besides to giggle,
"Ah man I am sooo tipsy!". By now the bar behind her was busy
but, only enough that anyone at or standing near too heard her.
She didn't care she was waiting to see which man would jump on
the chance to buy her the next drink.

Snow's averting eyes physically cringing as the woman grew
closer to them. she was a filthy one. He could smell the blood
as clear as day no matter how vigorously she scrubbed. she was
ripe in it. ripe in the sin. A demoness; much like Enquebis. he
only assumed Enquebis was too drunken to care or even know. only
remaining silent as she called out: silently staring as he
looked away. "...." with that Enquebis let out a laugh; forcing
his other arm around her shoulders and pulling her close. "well
what's a lady like you doing in a place like this?" Only for
Snow to break in for a moment. "Enquebis..." Enquebis releasing
Snow with the spin of his chair: turning to face the woman.
flashing a smirk as Snow glared to his massive back; sipping
from his soda. "how am I gonna explain this one to him...?"

Anemone eyes widened as she was slightly confused when Enquebis
put his arm around her.She giggled and waved her hand, "what
ever do you mean a girl like me?" She stopped to notice the
other man, he looked at her as if she was doing something..like
he knew what she was, but his friend could turn things to money
and money is her favorite thing.

Snow spent every hour of every day by enquebis' side:
familiarizing himself, quite heavily, with the scent of a demon.
Enquebis, on the other hand, was inherately nose blind to the
wretched scent. Heavy with sin: it weighed on Snow tolerance for
two around. Though his eyes gazed away as she looked over and
down to his drink. pulling it up in a quick swigg as Enquebis
reached down for his beer. Looking to the woman with that same
smirk as his chick arm cut her view off from snow. "well, a
pretty one. thats for sure." a laugh escaping from his lips as
he brought his own drink up; immediately downing the can with
ease. Snow only muttering under his breath loathingly.
"another..?" Tapping onto enquebis back with a single finger.
"we really have to go enquebis..."

Awe don't go, I was just about to give you a um tour, she leaned
into Enquebis and whispered into his ear, "tour to the bathroom,
I'll show you the Capital City welcome." She leaned back and
with her devilish eyes she winked as she bit he lower lip with a
seductive smile. Her long alburn hair wind swept to her right
side perfectly falling with perfectly curving with her breasts.
She kept giggling. "We could all go together, if your into
that." She licked her lips looking at Snow laughing a bit harder
before placing her hand on Enquebis's chest. "What do you
say...stranger, wanna have just the tiniest bit of fun?

Enquebis' eyes lit up bright as a nerve on Snow's head visibly
pinched out of frustration. His face also blushing a deep
scarlet at her words as he quickly called out: gripping Enquebis
by the shoulders. "No, No, NO!!" Fire immediately erupting from
snows shoulders as he pulled back. "damn it!" Quickly pulling
away from enquebis shoulders to pat the fire down and smother
it. enquebis laughing back to him as he spoke. "that's what you
get! Now don't be rude! Lets endulge the young lady!" Enquebis
standing from the chair as he held his hand out for her. "ladies
first." though snow only scoffed at the idea: gripping Enquebis'
hand. as he did so ice flew up his arm and covered his body.
Freezing him solid for the few moments. Snow glaring to the
woman. "I know what you are..." His words plain yet cryptic.

Anemone scrunched her face to wiggle her nose while smiling
toward Snow. She got up directing her attention to Enquebis.
Grabbing his hand she led him back her hips swaying back and
forth. Her pants skin tight, a lower back tattoo poking through
so stray pieces of her long hair, it was a rose and thorns on
fire. She also had lower back dimples and curves ever so
perfectly. The began to weave through the tables back to a dimly
lit hall with a sign hanging that read, Restrooms.

Enquebis cracked from the ice snow tried to use to stall him:
only smirking back to snow as he followed the woman. "hey snow!
I thought max said you cant take your eyes off me!" A laugh
escaping his lips as snow groaned. He was right. Snow was not to
leave his side and he hated to admit it. Snow slowly standing up
as he slowly followed the two at a distance: silent. "so whats
your name, doll face?" Enquebis smirked down to the woman as he
admired her features; taking swiggs from his drink with ease.
"name's Enquebis." Snow only followed grumbling something about
the entire building probably going to wind up destroyed.
