The Clash of Heritage
By: Maximus Canis Date: September 26, 2015, 12:15 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Razor calmly sat upon a boulder atop a massive mountain: looking
up to the moon. Though, his eyes remained closed. Simply taking
in it's radiance with a calm embrace. Softly speaking only a
name as his eye crept open. "Eri..." He muttered with a calm
longing. His soul was void in his body: forcing him to rely on
memory. Synthesising any feelings he could. Remourse. Longing.
He had missed the past and destroyed that which he loved.
Including himself. Having all this time to analyze himself was a
burden: destroying himself in yet another masochistic persona.
It was one fact of himself he could not escape. He always wound
up destroying his body, soul, and relations. Leaving only
memories. With this thought he looked down to his hands;
clenching them as he let out a sigh. "Did I do the right thing?"
The words surprising to come from his own lips.
Though he was quickly cut off by a voice breaking in. The voice
cocky, yet, sympathetic. "Making Xam the new King, huh? Well,
it's a good idea.... In theory." Razor was quick to snap his
head over towards the source: smelling the foul scent of his
brother, Maximus. Though, instead, he saw Enquebis. His own
flesh and blood: his son. The only natural born chimaera in
existence. Razor only scoffed as he looked down to his hands.
"And how do you know this?" Razor exclaimed plainly. Enquebis
pulling his hand up to his hair; brushing it back. "Oh come on.
I was raised by Max... I know what you are going to do before
you do it." With that enquebis walked to the other side of the
flattened mountain top. Sitting as he was now in front of Razor.
"Right... Well, Max always was the intelligent one, I
suppose..." his voice was numb as he spoke to Enquebis. His son
was the perfect example of his own fear of relations. Abandoning
his son only to be raised by his brother. Destroying the
connection before it could turn him weak.
"Hm... Yeah..." Enquebis said through the thick uncomfortable
fog that covered the two. Manly unspoken problems between the
two: forcing the creation of this "fog." Enquebis only speak
once more as he hunched his big body over. "So, why did you pick
Xam instead of me?" His words were plain and to the point;
forcing Razor to remain quiet for a moment. "... You are my son,
Enquebis. you have my habits and lusts: if not worse. You have
your mother's own seductive powers... a demon of lust. That is
no persona of a king... I know this now and you should too..."
He spoke before looking up to his son. "Is this jealousy
enquebis?" Enquebis only laughing at his words. "Oh no, no, no.
you got me all wrong, Pops. I agree, but, I cant help but to
wonder... Is there something more insidious in that head of
yours?" Razor only laughing in return. "I'm not that
complicated, Enquebis..."

"Heh... Not in the least..." Enquebis chuckled his words off
before his ehes grew more serious: leaning back against the
rocks. "You may not be complicated, but, I find turning a new
leaf very doubtful.... But what do I know?" He was all too
familiar with his father's ways. His eyes seeming to glare as he
expected the truth. Though before Razor even had a chance to
answer Enquebis stood up. Looking down to Razor with clear
intent. "Tell me. What would happen if I killed the current
king?" Razor's eyes immediately shot up to glare back at his
son. Remaining silent as he slowly stood up from the boulder:
his face numb. "Are you challenging me, boy?" Enquebis only
smirking in reply as he moved his hands to the back of his head.
Smirking with a fanged canines. "Well, I'm not asking you out to
dinner. That's for sure."
Though without warning Razor had lunged forward: his wings
shooting afar as he clench Enquebis face. Launching them both up
off the mountain only to slam his skull against the side. Flying
lower and lower down the mountain; dragging Enquebis down the
spikey, rigid, side of the mountain. Enquebis body being dragged
for mile as his hands clenched Razor's wrists. Only for them to
be nearing the ground. Razor yelling out as he pulled Enquebis
battered body off of the rocks: spinning his in midair only to
release him. "Kill me!?" The momentum sending Enquebis body
flying into the surrounding forest. Destroying the massive trees
in his bath before slamming into the earth: each tree slamming
down upon him with no mercy. Razor body slowly descending down
upon the trees: knealing down to closely inspect the pile.
Speaking in a blatant tone. "You best learn some respect, boy."

This fight was far from over. The trees beneath Razor's feet
began to rock and shake; the sounds of snapping twigs and
branches echoing through the silence of the forest. Only for the
trees to finally break. Razor immediately jumping back: his face
merely remaining numb. Not so much as a twinge of reaction.
Though his jump was to slow. Enquebis launching from the
shattering trees: his body reformed with a flexible metal. His
metalic fist immediately connecting into Razor's jaw. "Go to
hell!" Razor body flying through the air directly after
collision. Headed towards the mountain, head first, only to
crash into the massive rock. His body flying all the way through
to fly out the other end. His body finally slamming into the
forest: destroying everything in his way. Razor letting out a
groan as he laid in the earth. Slowly reaching up to his jaw as
he gripped it: snapping it into place with another groan. "Guess
I'm not eating after this..."
As he slowly tried to stand from the crater left in the ground
Enquebis had flew down from the sky: slamming his boot onto
Razor's skull with all his momentum. Forcing Razor's upper body
to crash even further into the earth. Enquebis yelling out with
a twisted laugh: his voice seeming to made of multiple voices.
"How's this for respect, daddy!?" He quickly began stomping on
Razor's skull against and against. Shattering the earth and rock
below his skull with each powerful kick to the face. Each kick
forcing Razor's hand to twitch with a sort of excitement.
Suddenly clutching onto Enquebis leg that maintained his
balance. Ire pouring from Razor's hand as it ate away at the
metalic skin of Enquebis. Enquebis letting out a growl to the
pain: stopping for just a second. This pause being just long
enough for Razor to pull Enquebis' weight to the side. Using the
momentum to swing himself upwards into the air: slamming into
the ground. "I'm tired of your games!"
He released Enquebis as he slammed into the ground; pulling his
hand back as the Ire built up. Sending his hand forward for the
Ire to launch forward; devouring Enquebis' entire body.
Destroying the metal skin only for Razor to launch forward:
sending his claws into Enquebis' rib cage. Using his own weight
to pull Enquebis up by his torso. His claws clutching deep
inside the chimaeras body; composed only of muscle and bone now.
"You will regret what you tried here today." With that Razor bit
into Enquebis' juggular. Slowly drinking the chimaeric blood.
Razor's toxins flowing into Enquebis' own blood stream: dulling
his sense. Only for Enquebis eyes to go wide: realizing what was
happening. If he succeeded...
His fists immediately flew towards Razor's head. Relentlessly
striking Razor's skull in a paniced frenzy. Though it was to no
avail: Razor pulling from Enquebis' throat. Throwing his bare
body forward into the brush. Enquebis slamming into a tree as he
looked towards his father. Enquebis' skin slowly reforming as
Razor only dropped to his knees. Letting out a low roar as his
left eye began to change in color. Hues of blue flowing into it
and taking over the color as he yelled. "I remember this! I
remember this pain!!" His roar turning into a mad laugh. Though,
in and instant, Razor grew quiet: slouching his head over as if
he had lost consciousness. Enquebis cautiously standing and
walked towards him. "H-Hey...? You aren't dead are you...?"
Razor only chuckling before his bodyl launched towards him. Only
for a massive pillar of ice to shoot up from the earth.
Enveloping Razor: freezing all around him. A sigh being heard as
Maximus walked out beside the shocked Enquebis. "You are a fool,
Enquebis..."

Enquebis only growled in pain as he stood up: groaning to Max's
presence. "I told you to stay in the forest." Maximus only
shaking his head in disapproval. Slowly making his way to Razor.
"Enquebis... When you came into my care I had your power sealed
away. A demon's power cannot benefit you. Only destroy you. So
your strength alone is no match for him." His words were blunt
with a tone of irritation. Placing his hand on the ice as it
began to redden with heat. In a constant state of melting around
Razor. Max's hand only freezing it once more to stall for time.
"And now for you senseless lust for domination you have given
your father the key. Lucky for you... I broke the lock."
Enquebis groaning once more as he clutched the hole between his
rib cage. His shirt morphing into matter that slid into the
hole; creating organs, muscle, and skin. Recreating artificial
body parts.
"What do you mean...?" His voice now steadying as he stood up
straight. Looking over to Max with a distracted glare. Irritated
to hisIinterruption. Max only scoffing at Enquebis ignorance.
"Raz is reborn in body, but, he is missing his strongest
attribute. His soul. His emotions. Without them he cannot be
perfect. He will remain broken." Enquebis managing to lean off
of the tree as he walked over to Maximus. Speaking in that
cocky, irritated, tone. "Well then where is it?" Maximus only
turning back to Razor; speaking absentmindedly. "His body and
soul were taken to create king. As was Roy's and my own... But I
have my tricks and your father has his allies." Enquebis only
scoffing to the name "King." A chimaera made from the original
three. The newest of them and potentially very powerful. Though,
a waist of power. Having the personality of a boy. Ignorant to
the world. "So he has to kill that idiot first?" Maximus only
nodding to enquebis.
"Then why dont I pumble him now and get it over with?" max only
snapping his head to enquebis: shooting him a glare. "Right now
his body fighting to change. no memory. no false emotions. only
instinct and power. you dont want to challenge that which as to
restraint." enquebis letting out a sigh of impatience; turning
is back to Max. "Then what do we do? he wont stay there
forever." max letting out a growl. "Well you put me in a bit of
a predicament... I guess we have to give him what he wants..."
Both letting out a groan to the thought.
