       Enquebis stood up straight after Kay had pulled away from him;
letting out a quick chuckle. "I was just joking, love. I am the
less serious brother." He stuck his tongue out a bit before
turning it back to his infection smile. "And what am I? ....
Well.... Hm.... I am half demon and half chimaera. And that's...
Well... I'm complicated." He reached his right hand up to the
back of his head as the ran it through the golden strands of
       hair.
Though, hearing Kade's snide comments. Only turning to him with
a smirk before speaking in that same cocky tone. "Oh, don't
worry about me. I'm not like him. None of that power stuff. I
was just the accident is all." He let out a laugh before he
turned back to the woman before him. Xamphere had glared to
Enquebis through the corner of his eye with an inner resentment.
It wasn't clearly not enough to destroy his own brother, but, it
       was still obvious.
Enquebis spoke so lightly of his own origins. Being the only
chimaera being born naturally. The rest, created in a lab using
strange and different techniques. Some created by human and some
by chimaera themselves. But Enquebis was the only who was meant
to be in this world. Despite how much of a scurge he was to it.
       "Do as you please, Enquebis."
Caring not for his brother's presence Xamphere turns his focus
to Kade. "He does speak the truth, though. He is of no threat to
us. Any of us. He's just.... A trouble maker. Seems to be a
family trait." He kinda chuckled a bit; now having seen Sophie
anew and in good spirits. Reached out as he placed his right
hand upon a gem on the bottom of the blades hilt. Instantly
dispersing into that strange energy that blackened the air
around it. The energy flowing up his sleeve; melding with his
arm in the shape of a white dragon twisting up his arm and
       resting on his shoulder.
He gave Kade a kind smile as he was surprised by his offer. "I
will indulge that offer one day. That is for sure. No traps or
tricks. Just the clash of our blades." Though, he couldn't help
but to look over towards the usually busy part of town. A slight
sigh escaping his lips at the lack of children scurrying about.
Probably securely in their cabins. Though they surely did not
fear him, they knew always to hide at the sign of Xamphere's
power. He would never risk their lives. Making sure to keep that
       much control in any situation.

Kayden was happy to see Sophie awake and moving around again.
The girl had worried her by just simply collapsing at Kade's
feet. Now she was up and moving around, talking even, which
brought a smile to Kayden's lips. Her light green bright eyes
left the sight of Sophie to return and settle upon Enquebis.
"Well I like less serious as for complicated.. well, i guess
it's okay too. Maybe you will tell me more later. I'd love to
know. It seems that I don't really know much about the world
that we live in.. Or that I live in." She was now talking more,
and wondered if it was simply her rambling or because she had
overcome the small amount of fear she had when she first arrived
in her dazed and confused state of mind. Deft fingers brushed
away stray curls that were intruding her eye sight as she
watched Enquebis as he and his so called half brother conversed.
To her they showed many differences, and it seemed that her
Enquebis would get along fairly well as opposed to her and the
       other brother.
It just seemed to be just the group left scurrying about. All
other children had hidden away in the shelters among the city.
The sky was turning from blue into oranges and pinks as the sun
sank lower in the sky. This was Kayden's favorite part of the
day, sunset. Everything calmed down and the scenery took on a
completely new look before it was hidden away in the darkness of
the night. Turning back towards Enquebis she began to speak once
more. "So you mentioned leaving here. Where did you have in
mind? Not to seem rude, but there doesn't seem much to do here."

Kade smirked as he looked to Xamphere, a light sigh leaves his
lips as he leans back, nodding to Sophie before turning back to
Xam. "She is fine, resilient as ever. Her body is frail but her
soul is strong, unlike any other I've seen in a very long time.
Darkness can't even get a hold on this one." He chuckles and
shakes his head. "Small miracles..." He looks around to all the
children. Noticing the lack of adults he shrugs. "Awful strange
company you keep, least they know when to run and hide. Sophie
can't help but to make things... noisy..." Tapping his feet to
the ground and looks to be impatient as if waiting for
something. Then looks to Enquebis and Kayden. "Looks like he
beat you to striking up a conversation. You're family is...
Odd." His eyes fixed on both of the two and has been reading
them very carefully since he got here. "Do you have any further
questions on power? I don't have much to teach as I myself
cannot control those.... Magics... I guess you could call them
that. Only thing 'special' about me is this blade and my ability
with it." He smirked, having never had to rely on anything more
to get him by in tight spots.
Sophie smiled as she began to dance around, having nothing to do
with herself. Skipping around Enquebis and Kayden she begins to
trot over to Kade and Xamphere. "Hey mister, where did all the
others go?" She said looking around at all the buildings, spying
eyes poking out from under blinds she waves excitedly. "Heyyy!
Come out! We can play tag! Kade is no fun!" She points to the
dark clothed figure. He only chuckles and shakes his head,
fatigue slowly showing on his form, as if he had been under a
       draining effect this whole time.

Xamphere quietly chuckled under his breath as he had heard
Kade's words. Looking to the ground as he had thought such
trvial words over. "Miracles..." He repeated with a strange
interest. "They seem to gather around me..." He spoke with a
contemplation: attempting to piece together pieces of a
non-existant puzzle. Though, he was knocked back into reality as
Kade spoke of his company. Letting out yet another chuckle as he
looked to the now seemingly empty town. "They are all miracles
in themselves... They seem to you to be children, but, are far
from it. They are cursed to retain that child-like body, but,
their minds flourish naturally. Most of them have the mental
       compacities of an adult, actually."
He said with a sigh as he continued; looking back to Kade. "I am
partially to blame for their condition, though. Because of that
I will live as their guardians until time has ceased for them...
You see, I was... Created in this town. I am the outcome of
their suffering." He spoke plainly. "Their young bodies were
able to adapt, but, the same was not true for the adults...
Though, I just caused the bodies to retain their shape... The
formation of my blade on the other hand..." He made the blades
present once more as he held it up towards Kade. "This was what
caused the very timeline of the area to... Hiccup, in a sense.
Affecting the land as a result. It has no power at the moment,
but, maybe once I master myself... It will show me my reason for
existence. As for my family... Well... We are sure one of a
kind. Most made by humans. What is to be expected?" He said with
a bit of a laugh behind it.
With that he looked down to the blade; running his thumb over
the strange text that was etched into the blade. Running down in
one single line of strange letter like symbols. It didn't seem
to be from any language known. His demonstration was caught
short as he had seen Sophie calling for the other children. His
blade quickly dispersing into harmless energy that spiralled
into his arm. "I am sorry, dear. But, thet have a lot to do
tomorrow. As you can see it is getting a tad late." He pointed
up to the setting sun. His body was already dancing with
anticipation, though, his mind remained sharp. His hair slowly
starting to fade in color as time passed by.
Enquebis smiled to the young lady with a calm demeanor before
letting out a slight laugh. Speaking in his usually kind tune.
"Oh, yes! Complicated is definitely good. Always makes for an
experience. Whether good or bad." He said as he ran his lengthy
hair back with his right hand. "The world is full of all kinds
of nice little... Features. Some may be scary, but, it's finding
those special things and people that make it worth everyday...
Right?" He looked to her with his own curious glance; wanting an
       answer in all honesty.
With all that said he looks up to Kade sitting high up. "Now,
why would you like to leave a place like this? Believe it or not
there is some very interesting and important things going on
between them here. I am frankly waiting for something... Then
this place will be real interesting." He looked back down to
Kayden with that fanged smile. "Ya dig?"

Even though Enquebis had gained most of her attention, Kayden
still was attentive to those surrounding her. A brow rose as she
watched Sophie call out for the others, she wondered if they
would actually come out and play. Usually when the moon rose and
darkness cloaked the land, children stayed inside. It was safer
that way. Speaking of night time, she noticed dusk was
definitely upon them. The hues of orange and pink were fading
and night fall was taking over. Soon it would be completely dark
and there didn't seem to be many street lights or outside lights
in general, at least that she seen. Noticing this, she pondered
the thought of where she would stay tonight.
She was brought back to reality from her thoughts when Enquebis
spoke to her again. Well rather responded to her. "Experiences
are always good, although the outcome can be bad. It good to
explore and see what is out there, ya know? And yes, I guess you
are right, discovering special and beautiful things and/or
people is what makes life so great." Her deft fingers tucked
away a few of the dark strands of hair once more. This occurred
       often.
"I didn't necessarily say I wanted to leave. I just want to
experience something fun and entertaining. Something new.." She
looked at him again, her eyes looking him over taking in each
detail. In her mind it was her way of getting to know him. She
always did this with people, it allowed her to know certain
possibilities. "What are you waiting for?' she questioned, her
brow raising in curiosity once more.

Kade sighed lightly, popping his head left and right as darkness
crept up on them. He heard the bit about the children being
adults and unable to defend themselves, this thought of reliance
disgusted him, sure he guarded Sophie but even she could at
least fight for herself if in desperate need. "Have you ever
thought of teaching them to fight? I understand you yourself
have difficulties controlling your power, but surely you can
teach them the intricacies of combat." He sighed once, thinking
of 12 different ways to instantly kill someone. "Or teach them
how to create traps and maybe they'll surprise you with their
ingenuity. Give them a weapon, and they will use it. Of course
they may cut themselves but that is what it is to be human..."
His voice begins to trail off in thought. "To Err..." He shakes
his head before regaining composure and looking up at the sky.
"Looks like you'll be getting to show me what it is you've got
hiding soon. Be careful not to create too much Ire, remember,
it's very existence is a curse on any realm that harbors it. She
is a being that is specifically tuned to that. Too much
destruction and it can kill her, keep it off the ground I
guess..." He said shrugging looking towards Sophie as the sudden
realization that nobody will play with her makes her frown,
crossing her arms and lightly stamping her right foot. She
stares defiantly in the dirt before yawning greatly. She shakes
her head, trying desperately to fight the sleepiness that is
       creeping over her.
Kade chuckles at her and shakes his head. "Looks like someone is
ready for bed... No, actually I want you to stay up with..." He
seems to hesitate. "Papa..." He sighs out, something about her
calling him Papa seemed to bother him on a deeper level. She
smiles brightly and runs into his leg, holding it tightly as she
slowly begins to glow white, in a flash of light she transforms
into a tiny white kitten. She slowly begins to paw at Kade's
foot and he scoops her up. She begins to circle around in his
spade-like hand and curls up into a tiny ball, hiding her face
with her fluffy tail. He then holds out his robe, pure blackness
could be seen, not a body, not more clothing. He tucks his hand
in and pulls out nothing, having placed her somewhere safe. He
then reclasps his robes and then faces him. "She likes
kittens... A lot..." He sighed laughing lightly.

"Hm.... Fun and entertaining.. Hm...." As Enquebis trapped
himself in contemplation he brought his hand up to tap his
fingers upon his chin. As if bringing this contemplation into a
physical task. As he tapped his body flashed with an array of
harmless energy. As each flashed he formed into a different,
talking, animal. Still standing up on two legs and tapping his
chin. Forming into a large bear. Hippo. Small elephant. And
finally; a massive armadillo. "I got nothin'. Guess I'm just not
that entertaining...." His body flashed once more only to show
his normal body except dressed as a clown; makeup and all.
Holding a squeezable horn as he points it to her. "I'm just a
sad clown..." He quickly squeezes the horn with a laugh.
Xamphere could only hear Enquebis' annoying demonstration,
rolling his eyes, but, letting out an unpreventable chuckle.
Despite his opinion of his ungrateful brother; he was surely the
most human and kind in the family. He turned his focus back to
Kade as he spoke of training the children. Giving him a nod. "I
agree. I train the older males every now and again and they
train amoungst themselves. Many of the girls far less interested
in such things. But, despite their abnormal bodies, they are
human and can be strong down very easily." He looked over to a
pile of sharpened sticks that had been placed to one of the
huts. His figure still slowly transforming at the moonlight.
He was far more capable at containing his power than Kade was
under the assumption of. Though, it pained him, he did not allow
it to fully take over. So, he was not worried about that, but,
the children needed to be inside at night. The one rule of this
abandoned village. "Naturally, with a cursed land such as this
strange creatures make their presence known. Take you and that
young girl, for instance. You two are exactly why I remain here.
To guard against that which they cannot." He spoke plainly. "I
suppose it is in my nature to be a guardian, though. I cannot
       deny my worry for them."

As if anything else could be more surprising then what had
already happened, Sophie turns into a kitten before Kayden's
very eyes. Today had begun to make her realize that thing were
never as they seemed and there was a lot she needed to learn
about the world that she hadn't seen before. Enquebis' voice
brought her attention back to him once more. A small, velvety
soft laugh escaped her lips and leaked into the night air as she
watched his demonstration. "Well, you are a Little entertaining
if I do say so myself."
The night was now almost fully upon them and cool wind swept
through the village. Kayden pulled her leather jacket tighter
around her before crossing her arms over her chest as to keep it
that way. A small frown formed on her lips as earlier thoughts
came back to her. "Where exactly will be staying tonight?" she
questioned. In the few times she observed the area she never
noticed any inn or hotel of any sorts. She was asking Enquebis,
but she felt like she should have asked Xamphere instead, maybe
he would over here and acknowledge her, although it seemed him
and Kade were deep in conversation.

Kade looked around, noting each frail body, coupling that with
the few sharpened sticks that were supposed to be used as
weapons somehow. This arrogance and lack of discipline made him
almost vomit. Nowhere before had he seen such a lackluster
arsenal and even more pathetic troops. Yes they were children,
but he knew very basic children who could put up a good fight.
One tribe he had seen a long time ago was nothing but children
and their war parties were the more brutal he'd seen in a while.
"You've got to be kidding..." He sighs, shaking his head in
disdain. He then walks over to hut with all the sticks and he
began to break each one with one hand. "These things won't even
stop a hungry dog... You should step up their training. Start
them at hand to hand, then have them fight. Find the strongest
one and make him your leader and your go-between for the others.
He will be your leader, train him until he can live by himself
over an extended period, he will teach the others. If he does
not, replace him." He sighed shaking his head more as he rests
his hands at his waist. "I don't mean to be rude or insult your
very clear leadership skills, but your little ones are
pathetic... Arm them, they possess mature minds, let them learn
what steel feels like." He sighs once. "Once more... I'm sorry,
I've seen many civilizations fall, each one because of their
weakest link. You eliminate those links, and you create a true
contender for life." He looks down and sighs. "I've lost what
you would call my King, and since then I've been renounced by my
kin and left for dead. Don't let that happen to any of them." He
then looked back up to Xam. "You can't be here every day of
every night, doing so would be unhealthy and not natural for
them. They need to live... and die... A normal life, a sheltered
one will only diminish their quality of life." He shrugs. "Or so
I would think... I shouldn't make assumptions of your home,
you've done very well to keep them alive this far, I only offer
advice. Feel free to ignore me, just remember that history is
doomed to repeat themselves." He then looks up at the night sky.
His body became almost impossibly to directly look at as his
body begins to displace itself in the darkness. The symbol on
       his sheath began to glow.

Xamphere quietly listened to Kade's small lecture with a smirk
on his lips. Mid way through the lecture Xamphere walked up to
the largest of the huts; looking to a hand imprinted upon the
wall. As Kade continued it had seemed as if Xamphere was
ignoring, but, in all honesty, he was hanging on every word.
Removing his gloved hand he placed his palm upon the wall. The
specific wall charges with his father's helios energy. This
energy changing the sctructure of the cement and forcing it to
fall into a pool of liquid cement. A stash of blades falling out
into the pool as Xamphere turns to Kade, though, barely able to
even see the man. "What you speak is very true. What you broke
were toys; meant for practice. These actual weapons are to be
locked up unless there is a state of emergency."
With that he reached down and picked up one of the flawless
blade. Though, there was nothing special about this lightweight
dual edged blade, it was a formidible weapon nonetheless.
"Though, I may not always be here to supply these weapons to
them. In that sense, I am wrong. But, they are still humans. You
said it yourself. History repeats itself. My... Family was
created by humans to be living weapons. We know all too well of
their ways." His mistrust for the human race was as clear as the
moonlight. "I wish for them to live out their lifespan content
and cared for. Rather than sending each other to the slaughter
for naught." With that he put the blades back into the
stronghold as the cement formed back up and barracaded the
       blades once more.
Enquebis turned back to his normal self as he ran his hand
through his blonde hair with a bit nervous of a smile. "Yeah,
well. Comedian by day. Horrible scary demon by night." He laughs
at his own comment as he looked around in regards to her
comment. Looking back to her with a strange look. Subconcious
screaming "Is this chick serious?" "Sleep here?" He spoke with
another laugh before pointing to Xamphere. "Trust me. He'll make
your life a living hell. Don't let him be in charge." Xamphere
was quick to glare to Enquebis; never having fully turned his
attention from his brother. "Yes, well, pardon if I do not see
booze and whatever else you do as a fun time. This is supposed
to be a place of innocence... You're very presence spits on that
