Jasper honestly hadn't realized how much time had passed. He had
gotten so deep into the role, he had only felt an hour or two of
what was surely 4 or 5. But the night sky was surely enough to
put time into perspective for him. It was late at night! It was
mid afternoon when they started! Aoife was right to look at him
the way she did, but he wouldn't give her the satisfaction of
admitting it! When she asked if he was nervous, he shook his
head confidently. "Not at all. I hope you're ready to share the
screen, because these parts are already ours!"
He chuckled at himself as they walked down the street. The heavy
crowd in combination with the late hour allowed them to blend in
with the flow of pedestrians. However when they arrived at the
Pizza place, their identities were revealed before they could
even order! A group of college students even offered to pay for
their pizza if they could sit together! Jasper looked to Aoife
to decide whether or not they would accept the offer, not that
he would really let them pay for the pizza, but it could be cool
to have dinner with a few fans! It was definitely something he
had never done before...

Jasper's response made her brows furrow, though she made no move
to look at him, knowing full well he would spot her nerves.
Mossy eyes looked straight ahead, a playful smile easily
appearing on her face. "I'm not too sure about yours, you seemed
pretty shaky when we were running through, but I definitely got
mine in the bag." Her voice was just as confident as her smile,
but her eyes gave away everything.
Much like she predicted, the famous pair was easily picked out
when they entered the pizza shop. Aoife offered each a friendly
smile, no longer stuck in her shell like she was when she was on
the show. "How about we pay for the pizza and you guys get the
table?" A brow arched in challenge, daring one to go against her
offer. After they all bashfully accepted, Aoife led Jasper to
the counter to order, quick to put her card on the counter to
pay for everything. "We need four pizzas, two supreme and two
pepperoni, please." Just being that close to food made her
stomach growl.

Aoife made the right decision to face forward as she spoke. The
confidence in her voice was able to fool Jasper, only because he
was unable to see her face. "Aw!" He said. "Guess we'll have to
get in another six hours of practice!" He said with a laugh. Of
course, what they would need just as much as practice, was
sleep. But there was something about an adventure that was
soothing as well.
Given his choice, Jasper would have gotten a cheese pizza. But
since Aoife made the order and paid for it, he wouldn't
complain. She knew Pepperoni was his favorite topping so she got
it. But he was supposed to be watching what he ate, and after
that Chinese earlier, he was probably already well above his
calorie limit for the day. He would just call it a cheat day and
hit the gym in the morning.
When they sat down, the kids immediately began asking to take
pictures with the two, not at all to anyone's surprise. Jasper
would oblige, holding up peace signs, and being generally goofy
with their newfound "friends." Only one of the girls seemed to
be really paying attention to the situation at hand. " So what
are you guys doing here?" skepticism played on her face. Clearly
both actors lived in LA, and one of them was engaged. "We're
here to try out for parts in a new movie." Jasper explained.
"Just decided to come out for pizza." "Oh that's awesome! I
can't wait to see it!" Another girl called out, clearly fawning
over Jasper. The first girl nodded her head, but it seemed she
wasn't truly satisfied. She was reading something the others
couldn't see...

The pizzas she ordered were more for the others than the stars
themselves. She, and Jasper she assumed, definitely had to be
watching what they ate considering they were auditioning for a
new movie. However, because it was a very special occasion, she
figured there was no harm in getting wild and celebrating with
pizza. Knowing Jasper, he would accept the pizza graciously and
work it off some other time. She would hit the gym in the hotel
too before they went to their audition. Nothing like feeling
fresh and energized before a big audition. Besides, running
would also help calm her nerves.
While they waited for the pizza at the table, the others were
quick to pounce on the opportunity; asking for pictures,
autographs, social media follows. Aoife performed perfectly,
posing for pictures with goofy faces, peace signs, scribbling
her signature on napkins, phone cases, and body parts. Despite
not being particularly thrilled to have their adventure ruined,
being with the kids calmed her. They gave her something to focus
on other than her rising nerves - Jasper was also a great help.
She hadn't yet called Stefan either. He would do wonders for
her. Too bad he wasn't here with her. He knew plenty of ways to
distract her..
Aoife nodded her head in agreement to Jasper's explanation,
green eyes settling on the girl who asked them. The look in her
eyes have Aoife an uneasy feeling, the questions she asked doing
nothing to help. She could tell something about her and Jasper
would soon be in the tabloids. Sculpted brows furrowed for a
brief second, eyes turning to Jasper as if to calm herself
before she submersed herself back into the group activities.
Idle chitchat took place before the pizzas were placed in front
of them. The kids immediately dug in, talking amongst each other
between bites of the pie. Aoife took a slice of pepperoni for
herself, eyes turning to Jasper while she took a bite. She was
still uneasy about that girl, hopefully sending him a look that
conveyed her thoughts.
A slice and a half later, the pizzas were gone and the kids were
saying their goodbyes. Of course, it was about an hour or so of
messing around. Aoife enjoyed as much as she could, sharing a
few laughs with them. With her hands settled in her lap and her
fingers idly turning her engagement ring around her finger,
Aoife let out a deep breath. "I'm worried about that girl.." She
deflated, leaning her shoulder against his. "She asked too many
questions."

Sitting down and eating with Aoife again was great! It reminded
him of days in the house when they could just goof off without
any real responsibility! And the kids only added to that aspect!
Jasper loved spending time with his fans! He felt it was what
made him different from most celebrities. You know, that, and
his eyes... But hey! a genetic mutation will make you different
from everyone, right?
All the time Jasper had spent with Aoife made him very sensitive
to what she was feeling. It was clear from the very first time
the girl spoke up that Aoife was uncomfortable. Cool, relaxed
blue eyes smiled at her, as he patted her shoulder; A gesture
that he had control of the situation. A quick, but natural
sounding change of subject informed him that the kids were a
group of College Freshmen, with all different majors. Naturally,
the little pain was a Journalism Major, which Jasper could help
but laugh upon hearing.
Jasper guided the conversation masterfully, until the group
finally left, being careful to make it back to campus before
curfew. It was then that Aoife could finally exhale. She leaned
against him and finally spoke the words that had been radiating
from her pores for over an hour. "It's nothing to worry about."
He said confidently. "We're under scrutiny 24/7. She's just
another future reporter. We'll hear from her again in five years
talking about how amazing we looked on the Red Carpet." He said
with a laugh
He stood up and pulled out the lady's seat, looking down at the
ravaged pizza boxes. He had only had three slices, but he still
felt like he had cheated badly. "How about we walk off some of
this pizza, then go run lines one last time?" Before he could
even get the words off his lips, the hedge garden played in his
mind. He shook the thought and made his way to the door, holding
it open for Aoife before following her out. After that nap, it
would be a while before he could fall asleep again. May as well
burn off some of that extra energy...

Her brows remained furrowed with concern, but she nodded her
head in acceptance. He was right, like always. A small smile was
offered to show him thanks as she stood up and left the pizza
shop.
"That sounds okay with me," she said, turning the opposite way
the hotel was as they both made it outside. After a while of
walking in silence, Aoife finally turned her mossy eyes to
Jasper. "Do you think we have any competition for our parts?"
There were always better actors and actresses, Aoife herself
wasn't that well-off, but Jasper was a hotshot. He hit it off
well with everyone and acted beautifully. Would being in a
professional movie with him be intimidating? It was different
than the House and how they acted there. Surely there would be
free time where they could interact similarly; however, it was
an otherwise professional exchange. Additionally, they were also
playing each other's romantic interest in the movie. The thought
of sharing intimate moments with Jasper, despite it basically
being business, was almost... Exciting. And she felt bad for
thinking like that. It definitely wasn't something she'd share
with Stefan.

there's a random autocorrect mistake]

Jasper thought back to the Awards show when Aoife asked if they
had any competition. "As long as Tony isn't auditioning, I'm
sure I'll be fine." He said with a laugh. "You, on the other
hand!" He leaned his arm on her shoulder as he spoke. "You're
uncontested." Their walk lead them to Times Square, where the
hustle and bustle and neon lights made them all but
indistinguishable from the rest of the crowd. Green Day was
doing a live performance, and people were just having a good
time! Jasper didn't know what the occasion was, but he was
beginning to see the appeal of New York. They would hang out for
a while, laughing and enjoying each other, before finally
heading back.
When they made it back to the room, Jasper plopped down on the
couch, and picked up his script, silently looking it over for a
moment, before putting it down. They ran over each scene they
had already done once more, before Jasper made his
recommendation. "How about the scene when Cherise tells Walter
about the abuse she's suffered?" It was a very sincere, and
moving scene. Undoubtedly one of the most important moments in
the script. But it also lead to an intense love scene. That may
have been awkward, but fact of the matter was, as co-stars, they
would have to address the moments of affection between Cherise
and Walter eventually. He looked to Aoife for the yay or nay,
before taking a deep breath, and jumping back into character.

Green eyes rolled at his words, a soft scoff slipping through
her lips as she playfully shook his arm off her shoulder. "I'd
choose you over Tony any day. Honestly, I found him kind of
creepy." She held back any reply to his comment about her,
finding it hard for him to even think such a thing. There were
definitely others who could beat her out for the role: Kaylee,
Kadira, Rashel. All the girls she met in the house, save a
select few, would most likely be chosen over Aoife herself.
Times Square was lit up; music blaring as signs flashed
advertisements. It was easy to tune it all out, instead keeping
her attention on the man beside her as he was the one leading
them on their walk. They were practically invisible. While it
was quite a change, it was also very nice. To blend in was
something Aoife rarely experienced, especially after the
announcement of her engagement to Stefan - everyone was trying
to get any bit of information; what designer for the dress, tux,
who the bridesmaids were, the best men, where it would be held,
who was making the cake, catering the event. In all honesty,
Aoife had no idea yet. It was too much to take in, and knowing
Stefan, he would want to make sure everything was perfect. Aoife
didn't care as long as they were together. But a white cake with
white frosting would be nice.
It felt like no time had passed before they were back in
Jasper's room on the couch once more. With scripts in hand they
went over every scene, eventually coming to a pause when Jasper
suggested they go through the only scene they hadn't. Running
her fingers through her hair, Aoife nodded, flipping to the
particular page and kicked it off.
"Walter, you don't understand. You don't know what it's like to
live every day in fear - afraid it'll be your last. Afraid it'll
be the day he punches you in the head that one extra time, or
chokes you into more than unconsciousness, or gets so mad he
uses a knife instead of his fists..." She found herself growing
tense, heart racing as if she was actually Cherise reliving all
of the abuse as she told the story to Walter. The stage
directions came naturally, and eventually she found herself
sitting next to Jasper, body as close as possible, begging him
to take away the pain and make her feel safe.
And then it happened.
She knew it was coming. Walter was supposed to cut her off with
a kiss. She beat him to it.
Their lips crashed together with force - Aoife had practically
thrown herself at him, a wounded Cherise looking for comfort.
But it evolved into more. Instead of Cherise it became Aoife,
and instead of Walter it became Jasper.

Aoife and Jasper had been apart a long time. Aoife had built a
life for herself, and Jasper had just been going through the
motions. Their lives were completely separate. But for the past
24 hours, they had been completely immersed in each other!
Jasper couldn't have been happier! The lights, and music, and the
crowd were great! But what really made the night special, was
Aoife. He hated having to be responsible, and head back early,
but they had a job to do.
Back at the Hotel, Jasper and Aoife were even more in sync than
they had been the first time. They fed off each other's energy
and fed each other the power to make each scene something
spectacular!But then it happened...
Jasper had become intimately familiar with Walter and Cherise.
He knew their ins and outs, and what drove them. He understood
Cherise's suffering, and her need to feel safe. But when her
lips pressed against hers, it all faded away. That wasn't the
kiss of a woman who needed the security of someone she had grown
to trust. That kiss held a year's worth of longing and
affection. The fondness the heart attains after three years of
absence. It wasn't Cherise he was kissing in that moment. It was
Aoife. A tender hand met with the side of her face that should
have been bruised, while another snaked it's way around her
waist. It was a moment that thousands of fans had begged for for
on the fan wall! A moment Jasper's friends had expected, that
never came! A moment that should have taken place ages ago.
But it was a moment out of place. A moment that shouldn't have
been happening. If only for a few short seconds, the two were
completely lost in each other. There was no audition. There was
no movie. There was nothing but Aoife; The scent of her hair,
the feeling of her tongue performing an exotic dance with his
own. It was Heaven. But the consequences were sure to be dire...

It was wrong - oh, so wrong. But it felt so right; their lips
tangled, his arm anchoring to his muscled body, the hand he had
cradling her cheek. This was, in short, everything she imagined
it to be and more - everything she had ever wanted. Aoife
pressed herself closer to him, a hand cupping the back of his
neck while the other clutched the fabric of his shirt. Years of
emotions were finally being released in an act so evil. Ever
after all that time, Aoife was still taken with him. With a
deep breath she inhaled his scent, manly and masculine, and
laced with something that drove her wild. There was nothing
innocent about the way kissed or the way they were immersed in
each other.
They stayed that way for a long time. Who knows. It wasn't
until her fingers curled in his hair did she feel the ice cold
metal of her engagement ring against her burning hot skin. As
if a switch had flipped, Aoife stopped. Stiff, body
tensed, trying her best to extinguish the fire burning holes
within her belly; but the longer her eyes stared into his, lust
dancing in her pupils, she was being drawn back in.
Oh god, oh god.
Oh god. Stefan.
Realization struck, smothering the fire.
What had she done.
Aoife stood up, gathered her things as quickly as she could, and
left the room. How could she do that? To Stefan, of all
people. The only person who was there for her - who put the
pieces back together when they all fell apart. He was the one.
Her husband. And she betrayed him.
Even so, she didn't feel guilty. Just thinking about it almost
sent her back over to his room to finish what they had started.
Body still thrumming, Aoife pushed the hair out of her face and
opened the door to her room. She couldn't think of a way to fix
what she had done with her thoughts constantly shifting back to
Jasper - his body, his scent, the way his hand gripped her waist
as his excitement rose. She needed to stop.
Clothes, like rose petals, fell to the floor, leading the way to
the bathroom. She needed a shower. A cold one.
