       ---------------------------------------------------------
Jasper tried his hardest not to think too much of the word
"date." He knew Aoife's intention wasn't for it to be a romantic
occasion. But he still couldn't help but to smile a bit after
hearing her choice of words. After all, the two had never really
been on a date, unless you counted their adventure in the hedge
maze. They had plenty of dinner dates in the house, but it's not
like they ever used the word "date." Using it, even once could
       have changed things drastically.
He looked down at Aoife as she rested against his shoulder. Her
hair was wild, and she had slight bags from refusing to sleep on
the plane. Probably the same bags Jasper held under his own
everchanging eyes. Regardless of these facts, the sight he
viewed was nothing short of stunning. She was still the white
rose... He smiled, and nodded his head, noting in his mind how
her shallow breaths seemed to form an unheard rhythm of
vibrations through his arm. "That sounds great." He said,
rubbing her arm gently. He couldn't help but recall the naps
they used to take together. She swore he was warm, even when he
felt like he was freezing! Looking back, it didn't make sense
that the two never ended up together. They were like High School
kids that didn't know how to make a move, and ended up missing
their opportunity. That was what Jasper saw every time he looked
       at Aoife now...
       The one that got away...
"I'll supply the food." Jasper said lazily. "It's the least I
can do since you're coming up to see me." Once they arrived at
her floor, and Aoife exited the elevator, Jasper leaned back
against the wall, allowing his exhaustion to take him at last.
He was glad for the opportunity, in more ways than one, but man
this was taking a lot out of him! When he finally arrived in his
Suite, he smiled weakly as he took in his surroundings. The
carpet was plush; it was a burgundy color that reminded Jasper
of fire for some reason. To his right was the bathroom. At first
glance, it was a simple, white tile restroom, with baby blue
walls, and a fancy marble sink. But the real attention grabber
was the fancy shower. It was the kind with a stained glass door,
and three shower heads with adjustable heads. It was the kind of
shower you wouldn't be mad to drown in. The living room was
centered around a large glass table. Forming a barrier of sorts
was formed around the table by two lovely, brown couches that
seemed to have been chosen to accent the carpet. Separating the
living room from the kitchen, was a long, mahogany bar. The room
was decorated with plants and paintings on the wall. All-in-all,
Jasper had to say, the place was nice!
His bags made it to his room before he did A pleasant surprise
indeed, since he hadn't seen the bellboy. With a heavy sigh, he
grabbed a pair of shorts and a wife beater, and made his way to
the gift from heaven the hotel called a shower. After bathing,
dream land was calling! Before long, it would be time for his
       date...

"Good," She chimed lazily in approval, nodding her head. Even at
that moment, Aoife was hungry; her stomach twisting and turning
just at the thought, but her body was exhausted. Sleep would
come first, just a nap, if she slept for too long she would be
exhausted for the audition, which was the worst case scenario.
Given such an odd flight time, both Aoife and Jasper had to
       recover quick enough to be ready for their respective auditions;
not only did they need the energy, but they also needed enough
time to run through lines. Remembering lines was relatively easy
for Aoife after so many years in the business, however, cutting
it this close made her heart race. Sure, during filming for her
other works, she could just improvise lines like it was nothing
and still stick to character, but doing that for someone as
well-known as Steven Speilberg wasn't going to fly.
The elevator dinged, signaling arrival to her floor. Aoife
straightened, stepping forward with a hand placed on the
elevator doors to ensure they didn't close on her as she turned
to look back at Jasper, his jawline sharp even in the bright
elevator lighting. "I'll see you in a few hours then," She
began, a slight twinkle in her eyes, before finally leaving the
elevator and making her way to the extravagant room she was
booked. The bed was immaculate. It sucked her in, instantly
       putting her to sleep.
Aoife woke exactly at 4 in the afternoon. Okay, so it wasn't
exactly a short nap, but she felt completely rejuvenated. Her
messy hair was thrown up into a bun before she slipped into a
white button-up and regular blue jeans, putting on nothing more
than a pair of socks before leaving her room to Jasper's, script
and phone in hand. She didn't think twice about going, sure, he
might not be awake yet, but she was hungry and he was supplying
the food. In a short five minutes Aoife was stood in front of
his door, golden numbers matching up with those he gave her
prior. She paused, fist poised above the smooth wood, before
tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear and obnoxiously
banging her knuckles against the door. "Jasperr."

       ---------------------------------------------------------
It was only 2 pm when Jasper awoke. A shorter nap than he had
intended, however his anxiety wouldn't allow him to sleep any
       longer. To he picked up his phone and ordered Chinese Delivery;
General Tso's Chicken for him, and Shrimp Lo Mein and Miso Soup
for her. Their time in the house came in handy more than he had
realized. He then picked up the script and began reading.
The day he met Aoife he told her that he could memorize a script
by just reading it once. It wasn't a lie, but it wasn't entirely
true either. He could remember up to 80% of the script after a
single readthrough; The scenes, locaitons events, and most of
the lines, all committed to memory. However, he couldn't commit
to a character after only seeing the script on paper. He needed
to meet the characters in the story, walk in their shoes, feel
what they felt. That was where Aoife came in. She would be
Cherise, the primary love interest of Walter, the character that
Jasper needed to familiarize himself with. Looking at Cherise
through Walter's eyes was the best way for him to relate to
Walter, and get into a position to fill his shoes. And who
better to fill the role of Cherise, than...
A knock at the door came about halfway through the script.
Attempting to contain his excitement, Jasper rushed to answer
the door. The delivery guy must have been hurt by the look of
sheer disappointment when Jasper lay eyes on him. The 80% tip
probably allowed him to get over it though! Jasper put the food
to the side, and went back to reading. He would be only a few
pages away from the end when yet another knock came to the door.
This time the knock was far more aggressive. Even so, Jasper
composed himself this time, before answering. "Come on in,
m'lady" He said, bowing graciously as he held the weighted door
open for the lady. "Food's already here." he said, following her
into the kitchen and allowing the door to close behind him. He
opened up his food and took it into the living room where his
script was sitting on the page where he left it. "Don't suppose
you got any reading in just yet?"

Jasper was quick to come to the door, silencing Aoife's annoying
knocks. He was greeted with a bright smile, its host cheery
despite the obvious bags under her eyes. She nodded her head in
thanks, stepping into his room as she took in a deep breath, her
smile growing. "Mmm! Chinese!" She said in a sing-song voice,
feet taking her directly to the counters the boxes lay. Aoife
easily deciphered what was hers, pushing his box off to the side
so he could get it before gathering hers up and following him to
       the living room.
His script lay open. Aoife couldn't help but to flush with
embarrassment. Of course. Jasper the overachiever. She sat down
next to him almost bashfully, brows furrowed. If it weren't for
the information written at the top of the front page, explicitly
saying what role she was auditioning for, Aoife would be
completely clueless. "You supposed right." Quick to divert his
attention away from her lack of preparation, Aoife shoveled a
bite of food into her mouth, bobbing her head in praise. "This
is really good," She said the second her mouth had room to speak
and proceeded to shovel more food into her mouth.
With a little more than half her food eaten, Aoife settled back
onto the couch, sitting cross legged with the script on her lap.
"Well, let's get started then." She waited for his approval
before continuing. "Is there any particular scene you want to
run through? Or should we take it from the top?"

Jasper chuckled as Aoife recognized the food before even making
it into the kitchen. They knew each other entirely too well!
Even things as simple as what food each would order was nothing
more than routine. Jasper didn't even take pride in it. It
simply was. He grabbed his food and a pair of chopsticks and
seated himself in the living room. He couldn't blame Aoife for
not having read the script yet. He wouldn't have either, had he
       been able to sleep!
"It's alright." He told her, also working on his food. When she
asked where he wanted to start, he thought over the script. His
character was what you would call a starving artist. Or rather,
he would have been, if not for the "underground activities" He
was involved in. A good guy, overall, he simply got in with the
wrong crowd, and didn't have much of a way out.
One evening, on a night out with a few friends, Walter crossed
eyes with a gorgeous woman. But he was unable to approach her,
due to the fact that she was out with her boyfriend; A boyfriend
she didn't seem to be getting along well with. Of course, Walter
didn't know the half of it. Cherise had been a part of this
abusive relationship than longer than she cared to acknowledge.
That night they shared little more than a glance, but it
wouldn't be long before the two ran into each other at an art
museum. Walter was a frequent visitor, however, Cherise was only
       there for an assignment.
Taking advantage of his opportunity, Jasper introduced himself,
and exposed Cherise to the beauties of the artistic world,
showing her things she never expected to see within the painting
and sculptures. They made for fast friends, meeting regularly.
Cherise grew to trust, and confide in Walter, until Travis,
Cherise's jealous boyfriend caught wind. Quickly assuming the
worst, Travis threatened Walter, before taking Cherise home, to
ultimately beat her, and leave her for "whoring around."
With no one else she trusted, Cherise rushed to Walter's side,
and what had previously been only a friendship, blossomed into
much more. A night of tending to Cherise's bruises turned to a
night of passion, and the two formed a loving relationship that
looked like it would go the distance! Walter finally managed to
free himself of his more, unscrupulous ties, and got himself a
job as an Art Teacher. Things were going well, until Cherise
found out about Walter's history in the drug game. The discovery
put her into a very dangerous situation, which Walter managed to
save her from, but it was too late for explanations. Cherise
left Walter, and went off to live her life.
Some time later, she agreed to meet with Walter, despite being
made up in her mind that she could never return to him. During
their meeting, Travis makes an appearance, enraged to see Walter
with "His girl" again. Despite fighting for both Cherise' and
his own safety, Walter is defeated. But instead of claiming his
prize, Travis pulls out a gun, no longer wanting the woman, but
rather revenge for her lack of loyalty. Shots are fired, but the
one who hits the ground is not Cherise, but Walter. Travis is
apprehended by police as Walter takes his last breath. Cherise
goes on to become a well known art expert.
       (So classic Hollywood, I know...)
"How about we start at the meeting scene?" Jasper suggests,
knowing that it didn't really matter, since she hadn't read it
script yet. He decided to give her some time to do just that as
       he finished his food.

"Okay," She mumbled, nodding her head as she flipped through the
script, eyes scanning over the lines following the highlighted
name 'Cherise' - they really did spoil her! Normally it was her
job to go through and mark her lines, this was a pleasant
surprise. As she turned the pages, Aoife skimmed over the words,
getting a quick picture of her character. Paired with the small
description on the front page, Cherise was coming together
easily, though would be a challenge to portray as she was an
archetype Aoife has never attempted before.
"Okaaay," Aoife mumbled again, bouncing around to situate
herself, eyes scanning over the brief synopsis of the scene. Art
museum. Glances at each other. Walter was the first to speak,
being in the relationship she was in, Cherise couldn't gather
the courage to approach him - Aoife could understand why. "So,
       are you ready?"
She waited for his line, his cue. It was hesitant at first,
Aoife trying to find that sweet spot for her character; and as
they continued on she fell into it; still not a finished
product, a complete character, but with the way she said her
lines it was as if Aoife had known Cherise for years - as if
Aoife was Cherise. A consistent tinge of fear in her voice,
awkward portrayal that hinted at the elephant in the room only
       Cherise was able to acknowledge.
Hours passed. Aoife and Jasper went back and forth, running
through certain parts a second time when they felt their
performance wasn't up to par. She eventually found herself on
the edge of the couch, sucked into the script, her body feeling
the tension of the current scene; Walter finally revealing his
past. Aoife could feel genuine hurt as Jasper, acting as Walter,
       told Cherise about.
"How could you keep this from me? After all this time?" After
that line, Aoife cut herself off, leaning back with a tired
sigh. "Let's take a break." She placed the script on the table,
slinging her legs over onto the couch so she was laying down,
head resting on the arm rest in a way that allowed her to look
at Jasper. "This is pretty good, huh?"

       ---------------------------------------------------------
The museum scene was a cakewalk for Jasper. Walter spoke with a
charm that was similar to his own. He just had to apply a sense
of passion for art that he had never seen. And while that wasn't
an easy task, he found himself examining the art that hung on
the walls, and finding inspiration in it! Anyone who watched the
two would know that this was their true passion. Performing Arts
was more than just a career to them. While they rehearsed,
Jasper even forgot about the awkwardness he felt toward Aoife,
and the situation he had found himself in being around her.
It didn't go unnoticed, however, that they skipped over some of
the more passionate scenes. Of course, they weren't going to act
out a love scene on the couch, but even big kiss scenes seemed
to be casually passed over. He wasn't sure if it was his doing
or hers, but it mattered not. This was business. She was his
partner, and whatever they needed to do to succeed together, was
       what they would do.
It's the job of an actor to become the person that he or she was
playing. And it was clear that both actors were doing that job
extremely well. Just as Aoife felt the anger of Walter's past,
Jasper felt the guilt of keeping it a secret. It was intense.
More intense than anything the two had shared face to face. When
Aoife suggested a break, that was the moment Jasper realized
just how quickly his heart was racing! "Alright." He said,
taking a deep breath. "Want something to drink?" He made his way
to the kitchen and grabbed himself a bottled water, and Aoife an
orange juice. Her question caused him to pause for just a split
second. Honestly he thought the script was cliche. But their
performances were stellar for simply rehearsing, and the fans
would LOVE it! "Yeah, I have a good feeling."

Hazel eyes followed his retreating form, lips muttering an
affirmative to his question. She could really go for anything -
water, soda - but what really tickled her stomach was...
Orange juice. A favorite of hers that Jasper seemed to remember
from their time in the house. Aoife smiled in thanks, taking the
bottle as she sat up so she wouldn't spill it all over herself
as she drank. "Me too. It seems like something fans would love,
you know? Even if the script is cliche." Her soft voice trailed
off, body finally relaxing out of character with her hazel eyes
trained unseeingly on Jasper's face. A moment of silence passed,
and after a second drink of her orange juice Aoife got to her
feet. Ever since Stefan, Aoife had come to embrace her
spontaneity as it would often lead to great adventures for them.
       Memories she would cherish forever.
"I'm hungry. Let's go get pizza or something." Less a question
and more of a command, Aoife shot a smile at Jasper before
making her way to the door. "And since I don't believe you'll
have shoes that are my size, we'll need to stop at my room." It
was with those parting words did she heave open his door and
cross the threshold, arm anchoring the door open for him to pass
       through.

Aoife's excitement made Jasper smile. It always did... Yellow
eyes settled on her as she talked about how the fans would love
it. He always wondered how people never realized that every
romance movie was exactly the same. But he couldn't be bothered
by that; Not when he was looking at her smiling face. He nearly
spit out his water when Aoife said that she was hungry! He
swallowed the large gulp he had just taken and began to object.
"But we just..." But she was already on the way out the door,
and he was already behind her.
A walk through New York didn't sound bad. Actually an authentic
New York style pizza didn't sound bad either, but where were
they going to fit it? Without bothering to ask, he followed
Aoife to her room, wondering if she was really hungry or she
just needed to move. He remembered then that they were supposed
to call Sachiel and Kaylee when they got into town. It was
getting late now, and they would still have to rest before their
audition the next day. The four of them could just hang out as a
celebration the next day. For now, he would enjoy his time alone
       with Aoife.

"We ate hours ago!" Aoife chuckled, shaking her head as if
Jasper wasn't in his right mind - which he very well was. Sure,
they'd just eaten hours ago, but that was the first meal she's
had since the award show the other day! Of course she was hungry
       again!
She unlocked her door and pushed it open when they made it
there, rummaging through her bags for a pair of sneakers with
the signature swoosh mark on the side - running shoes she wore
frequently to the gym. Not only did she love running, but it
balanced out the junk food she ate. Or, at least, she thought of
it that way. Aoife made it back to the door as quick as
possible, not wanting to make Jasper wait longer than necessary.
"Okay. Let's go get that pizza." A break from running through
lines was very much needed. Feeling legitimately hurt and angry
at Jasper because his character kept a secret from the one she
       was portraying was a bit overkill. Aoife needed to cut it off;
to take her mind off of it.
It was late; lights lit up the streets, but there were still a
lot of people roaming. So many that Aoife and Jasper became
invisible. They would be noticed sooner or later, but for now
she would relish in their anonymity. "So are you nervous for
       tomorrow?"
