Jasper knew the mass of people surrounding Aoife was making her
uncomfortable. If he could, he would have dragged her away with
him, but he knew they would have just followed. They didn’t mean
any harm. They were probably excited to actually see Aoife in
person! She avoided Awards Shows like the plague! He rushed to
get back to her side though, hoping his presence would be
comforting. It wasn’t long before everyone moved along to
       congratulate the next big winner.
Jasper was surprised to hear that Aoife was also flying out
after the show. “Really?” He was going to make a joke about her
looking out the window when someone bumped into him, attempting
to get to a young starlet behind him. With a huff of irritation,
he nodded his head, allowing her to send the necessary message
to get her affairs in order. Once she was done, she asked about
       his flight.
“1:21 to New York.” He told her. “I got a request to audition
for Spielberg’s new drama.” The audition was practically a
formality. When Jasper auditioned for lead Drama roles, he got
the part. He was too good at portraying emotion, and now, too
big of a sex symbol, to turn away. “What about you?” He asked.
By this point everyone was returning to their seats, preparing
for the second half of the show. Aoife still had one nomination
left. Jasper had two. But he didn’t anticipate winning either.
       Not here at least…

Sculpted brows shot up at his reply. Aoife was speechless, if
her wide eyes and floundering mouth weren’t enough to show that.
She had yet to decide if she should be excited that they could
potentially be working together in another project, or annoyed
with that fact. The brunette was quick to regain her composure,
something that always came in handy – especially when in the
presence of nosy paparazzi. Her lips curved up into an easy
smile that made her eyes squint. To someone with a sharp eye
they would be able to see that, despite how true the smile was,
       it didn’t reach her eyes.
Aoife nodded her head, assuming her position in the casual
conversation as if it were one of her roles. “Me too. I got an
email on the way here. It’s not something that happens a lot,
especially to me, so I couldn’t pass up the chance.” A warm
chuckle slipped past her lips before she took a drink from her
cranberry juice, eyes dancing across the people around them who
were returning to their seats. She still had one nomination
left, and from what she’s read so far, Jasper had two. Hazel
eyes turned back to his. “Two more nominations left, huh?” A
brow rose in question, head tilted to the side ever so slightly
as she tried to deter conversation away from their auditions.

A number of expressions played on Aoife's face before she
confessed that she was headed to audition for a role in the same
movie. Enough so that Jasper couldn't tell how she felt about
it. But more importantly, he didn't know if it was because of
her acting skills, or because she herself didn't know how she
felt about it! But Jasper was excited! Aoife was one of the
most talented actors he had ever seen. And she was a pleasure
to be around! Working with her would be great! At least, that
was the answer he would give if anyone asked how he felt about
working with her on this project....
I find that hard to believe." He said with a laugh. Jasper may
have been one of the most watched celebrities in the tabloids,
but on the heiarchy of actors, Aoife stood above him, even if
only slightly. He wouldn't argue though. The show was starting
up again. "I won't win anything Aoife." He said. He didn't even
know what he was nominated for. That was how confident he was
that he wasn't meant for these types of award shows.
When the show started back up, the first category was "Top
male TV Actor." Jaspers name was the first called along the
nominees. His role on Monarch" had grown increasingly popular,
and it wasn't TOO racy! Perhaps he had a chance to win after
all! But the winner of the award was Tony, who of cost, wasn't
there. Swirls of light pink mixed into Jasper's blue eyes. A
different shade than he had shown Aoife in the past. It
signified embarrassment. Of all the people for Jasper to lose
to, it had to be Tony! What a drag...
Some time down the line, after a performance by Usher, the
category "Best Smile" it sounded more like a Senior Superlative
for a high school yearbook, but it was actually one of the
biggest awards. It was one of the only categories with both
make and female candidates and the winner would be the face for
the awards the next year. No surprise when Aoife was victorious
yet again! On the one hand, she had done incredibly; on the
other, she would be all but required to return to the show next
year! Jasper applauded as she made her way to accept her third
       award.
It was toward the end of the show before Jasper heard his name
again. The category was "Top Male Hottie" (real category. I
swear! Lol! ) Jasper didn't even know there was such a thing!
But surely enough, he was declared the winner. Somewhere
inside. He didn't like walking away with that award; as if his
success was a result of his attractiveness, and not his talent.
Nonetheless, he smiled and went up on stage. He gave an
improvised speech, including a fake hot girl" bit with hair
flip and all. Thanked the academy and fans, and returned
       graciously.
He was concerned though. If there was a male hottie award,
there was sure to be a female hottie award. And they would want
pictures of them together. Jasper feared the top female hottie
would be Shay. Much to his relief, it was Kaylee! He hadn't
even known Kaylee was there until she arrived on stage. She
didn't tell him shew as going! She had lost two previous awards
to Aoife that night. Surely enough, Jasper was called to the
stage to take a few pics with Kaylee. They hugged in greeting
and made a few silly poses together before returning to their
seats. Jasper looked to see where Kaylee was sitting only to
find her date was none other than Sachiel! This was juicy!
       Someone had been keeping secrets!
No more than 20 more minutes and the show was finishing up. Soon
as the camera were off, he slumped down in his seat. There
would be an after party, and there was still over an hour before
their flight, but Jasper wasn't feeling any of it. "Ready to
go? " he asked Aoife. He knew she wouldn't want to stick around.
As far as he was concerned, they v could be each others escape.
They were going to the same place, after all!

       ---------------------------------------------------------
The show continued soon after, and Aoife couldn’t be happier for
it. Her conversation with Jasper was successfully ended and
while her face was turned toward the stage, her eyes were
glossed over with thought. She needed the time to think – to
assess her feelings about working with him. Despite how much she
downplayed the whole fiasco on the show, there was still some
hurt deep down inside her. The feelings she felt for him were
real, and they were crushed to bits. Stefan managed to put her
back together again, sure, but the attraction… it was still
there. Aoife and Jasper clicked. They fit well together; he read
her amazingly so and understood her complex character
thoroughly. Aoife wondered what working together again would
entail – if she got the part.
Her inner ramblings were cut short when she heard the announcer
list her own name, the category being Best Smile. Aoife cringed
at the thought of winning it – of having to return and be the
face the awards next year. But maybe she would like it; by then
she would definitely be married to Stefan, and so far he’s
proved to be a great addition to her life. He snatched a
beautiful spot in her heart and has managed to bring out the
best in her. She wouldn’t even be going to the show if it wasn’t
       for him!
“And the winner is… Aoife Finch!”
Once more she was pushed out of her thoughts as her name was
practically screamed into the microphone by the hosts. Startled,
Aoife jumped, eyes widening as she pushed herself up to her feet
unceremoniously. With as much grace and elegance as she could
muster, she accepted the award, gave a short speech, and
returned back to her seat, cheeks flushed.
The show continued on and Aoife tried her best to keep focus on
what was happening. It was nearing the end when Jasper’s name
was called again. She made sure to give him a cheesy smile and
cross her fingers for luck; Top Male Hottie, he was definitely a
strong contender. Right after was the Top Female Hottie award,
an award Aoife was glad she wasn’t even listed for. Kaylee won,
a member from the show that Aoife remember. She had to admit,
Kaylee was quite the bombshell. Those legs in that dress – Aoife
       was jealous.
Twenty minutes later the show finally came to an end. Just like
Jasper, Aoife slumped back into her seat with a sigh, the back
of her hand resting gently on her forehead so as to not smudge
any makeup. A headache was definitely brewing. She couldn’t even
think of going to some loud after party. The makeup needed to be
removed and her bra needed to be taken off. Poor boobies wanted
to be free, which was why she was more than happy to accept
       Jasper’s proposal to leave.
“Sure. My place isn’t too far off, do you mind going there so I
can get my bags? We can get McDonald’s or something on the way
if you’re hungry.” As the suggestion slid off her tongue she got
to her feet, offering a hand down to help him up. Once he was on
his feet she started towards the exit knowing that even if he
didn’t accept he would be leaving anyways. They were stopped a
multitude of times to be congratulated, but eventually made it
out of the building, reporters and paparazzi immediately
pouncing on them. Aoife was pulled away for a few interviews,
but she returned to Jasper’s side just the same; he had become
her comfort zone, and, quite frankly, the only person she knew
and was comfortable with. She couldn’t fathom what she would do
without him there – probably be really awkward and tripping all
over the place, definitely not a pretty picture.

Best Smile was the perfect award for Aoife. It was the very
first thing about her that Jasper feel in love wi- Wait! You
       can't think things like that!
Jasper laughed when Aoife slumped into her chair as well. He
knew exactly what was going through her mind. Her routine was
the same every time there was done mandatory event on RWMOW. She
would grab a bite to eat, get out of her bra, and pick up a
       book!
Jasper couldn't help but smile as he thought back to those days.
He must have unfastened her bra for her a hundred times, fallen
asleep with her twice that much! But he had never "slept" with
her, or even seen what was underneath! It was by far the most
innocent "relationship" he had ever been in, but definitely
they one he cherished the mo- Dammit Jasper! Stop it!
Jasper nodded his head and agreed when Aoife asked if they could
stop to get her bags, but it wasn't until she mentioned
McDonald's that a bright yellow color filled his eyes like a
dam. Any of the high maintenance girls he had taken out lately
would have wanted to go to some fancy spot like The Magic Carp
over on 5th. Aoife was more his type. McDonald's sounded
       amazing!
The walk toward their cars was filled with interruptions, but
most of them were for Aoife, who had struck good that night.
While she was interviewing, however, Jasper was stopped by
Kaylee. They had been costars for three years now, and had
grown to be very good friends. They joked about officially being
the "hottest" show on television while they posed for the
cameras. Once the attention had passed, she gestured toward
Aoife, who was still answering questions. She knew the history
between the two, and it seemed they were getting along
swimmingly! Of course, she also knew about Aoufe's engagement,
but she didn't dare. mention it...
Once Aoife and Jasper joined once more, he had his driver
deliver his bags to Aoife's limo, and gave him the rest of the
night off. Once they were in the car, he poked the woman's
nose. Look at you! Went up to that stage three times without
taking a single tumble! If i didn't know any better, I'd say
you'd been practicing! A quarter pounder and a large fry later,
they were headed to Aoife's place. Long night ahead!

       ---------------------------------------------------------
Aoife sunk down in the leather seats of her limo, immediately
working on kicking her shoes off as Jasper climbed in as well.
The driver closed the door, congratulating the two with a soft
voice. He was quite young, younger than Aoife, but he did his
job well. A personal driver wasn’t something Aoife or Stefan
invested in – they didn’t need someone to cart them around 24/7.
Stefan was great friends with an owner of a limo company and was
more than happy to help a friend out by using their services.
Once the driver, Daniel, as she’d come to learn on the way to
the award show, was settled in his seat, Aoife gathered his
attention and told him to drop them off at the nearest
       McDonald’s.
Her nose wrinkled, face scrunching up as Jasper poked her nose.
Chuckling, Aoife returned the poke to his nose. “Not practicing,
but Nico gave me some tips before the show.” Another chuckle
slipped from her lips as she remembered what her flamboyant team
       of beauty professionals told her.
“You’ve got to use your hips, Aoife,” They told her, each
wearing their own pair of six inch heels as they demonstrated a
perfect walk. Aoife was forced to take a turn after them. “Swing
your hips – your hips, Aoife. Swing them.” And after trying her
best to mimic their walks, she was bluntly told she didn’t have
sexy woman hips and she walked like a twelve year old boy.
Somehow, she managed to nail it at the award shows – she’d have
to remember to rub that in Nico’s face when she got the chance.
It was as they were stopped at McDonald’s did Aoife’s cell phone
vibrate, signaling a new text message. She eagerly dug her phone
out of her purse, hoping it was Stefan despite knowing he was
most likely working. The screen read Sachiel – not who she was
hoping for, but definitely still welcome. Reading the message
brought a blush to her cheeks, hazel eyes sneaking a quick
glance over at Jasper before replying, brows furrowing in
denial. ‘We were seated next to each other for the show, if you
didn’t notice.’ A bit sassy for her tastes, but she continued on
anyways, ‘Turns out we both have an audition for Spielberg’s
upcoming movie and are booked for the same flight to New York.
We thought we could just hang out until then.’ Hopefully Sachiel
wouldn’t pick up on how quick she was to defend herself. ‘Now
what about you and Kaylee?’ She added, even slipping in a
suggestive winking face. After his sudden break up with Rashel,
Sachiel just kind of slipped under the radar. That is, until he
and Kaylee started being spotted together. How scandalous.
A Big Mac and large fry later, Aoife got out of the limo and
lead the way up to her apartment, relieving Daniel from his
duties – they could just catch a cab to the airport later
anyways. The apartment building wasn’t anything spectacular.
Industrial and run-down on the outside, it definitely wasn’t
something people would expect to find such a popular couple, but
it was home. As she reached for the doorknob, her eyes caught
sight of the silver band on her finger. Aoife found herself
pausing for a brief moment. Home; it was home because Stefan
       lived there with her.
A smile worked its way onto her face, and with the door opened
she stepped into her room, bags packed and placed neatly against
the wall. Mrs. Abernathy was a hero. Aoife turned to Jasper.
“So, this is the apartment. The kitchen is over there if you
want anything, living room right here, and the bathroom is down
that hall, first door on the left. Feel free to explore, it’s
bigger than it looks, trust me.” A soft chuckle as she meandered
down the hall to her room where she ripped the dress off her
body – with utmost care – and took her bra off, throwing it in
the corner of her room. She changed into a pair of soft pajama
shorts and was just about to put on one of Stefan’s shirts
before she caught herself. The situation with Jasper was already
awkward enough, she didn’t need to make it worse. Instead, she
slipped on a large sweater with Hamlet’s To Be or Not to Be
       speech written on it.
It was too late to go thank Mrs. Abernathy, so Aoife settled
onto the couch, curling up into a ball with a soft sigh of
relief. It would be a challenge to stay up for her flight.

"A quick study as usual i see." He said with s chuckle. She
never seemed to get things when you explained then to her, but
when she put them into practice, she always pulled it off
seemingly effortlessly. He thought back to the time he taught
her to open a bottle. Something she should know to do at their
age but never had to since she didn't drink. She swore it didn't
make sense, until he put a bottle in her hand. When she pulled
out her phone he assumed she was texting Stefan. Needless to say
the two didn't get along well in the house. They didn't fight or
anything. They just were never friendly to each other. Jasper
liked out the window until she was finished.
When they arrived at the apartment Jasper dropped his bags at
the door. He listened to her directions, and grabbed a pair of
jeans from his bag, going to the bathroom to change. . He
finished before her and came out in his jeans and the wife
beater he had on under his shirt. He took a seat on the couch
and sighed. They really had no time to get comfortable. But he
couldn't help but smile when Aoife came out. Looking just the
way he expected! Pajama pants and a sweater. "No footie pajamas?
" he asked with s laugh. But when she balled up, he nudged
her. "Don't go to sleep." He told her. "He have to leave soon.

As she settled into the couch, Aoife turned her hazel eyes to
Jasper, taking in his change in attire. Jeans and a simple wife
beater. It was something she's seen him wear many times over
during their time in the house, and she had to admit he looked
good in it. There was a reason he won the Hottie award. Broad
shoulders tapering down to a all waist with beautiful ripples of
muscle in between, tan skin, a decent smith of manly hair, and,
her personal favorite on men - especially Stefan - a veil of
stubble over his chin. Jasper was, by all means, a handsome man.
But he was much more than that, he also had a beautiful
       personality.
A smile curled the corners of her lips at his words. "It's too
hot for footie pajamas, silly." She said playfully, curling up
tighter at his remarks of protest against her getting
comfortable. He was right though, she shouldn't fall asleep.
Clicking on her phone she found both the time and a text
message. "Well, we have a little over an hour, what do you want
to do?" She asked, tapping on the text message to read it.
Aoife couldn't help but to smile at the screen, wiggling around
until she was in a seated position next to Jasper, shoulder
gently brushing against his to draw his attention to the text
message from Sachiel. 'Thanks! And we definitely should! Jasper
would love to see you, we can all get together for dinner or
something!' She responded, ignoring Jasper's protests, if any.
"You're committed now. We've got to see him while we're there,
even if you don't want to." Aoife chimed playfully, sending the
text after adding a smiley face to it. "I've never really
explored New York either, so we've got to go on an awesome tour
when we have free time. I want to see everything; the Statue of
Liberty, Coney Island, Central Park, Bronx Zoo!" Just talking
about it for her excited. Bright hazel eyes looked to Jasper, a
       wide smile on her face.

Jasper burst into an involuntary fit of laughter when Aoife
objected that it was too warm for footie pajamas. There was no
denial that she owned any in the least! Not that she could fool
him into believing that she didn'town any in the first place! He
wiped an imaginary tear from his eye, missing the time they used
to spend together. She would put her feet in his lap and demand
a foot massage and he would refuse, only for her to pout until
he agreed. They had a way of doing things that was only theirs.
It was the thing that he missed the most about the house, and
the only thing that could possibly convince him to do it over
again. Not that he didn't have a good time, mind you. He had a
blast and it created a few opportunities to advance his career,
but he couldn't imagine walking back into another environment
like that. It was time for him to get out of the "Young
Celebrity" partying lifestyle and become a real role model. He
believed that. He just didn't know how to go about it.
When Aoife asked what he wanted to do for the next hour, his
natural first reaction was, "Take a nap." But he knew if they
fell asleep, there was no chance of them getting up to catch
that plane. His second instinct was to tell Aoife to read him a
story. But he also knew that reading was Aoife's way of winding
down for the night. That was a trap on it's own. They needed
something to keep them awake. "Let's play a game!" He suggested.
He had no idea what kind of game. Maybe hide and seek! That
would keep them up and moving! But there were implications that
went along with two adults playing Hide and seek alone...He
looke to Aoife for an idea or a suggestion. It wasn't like him,
but he was drawing a blank.
When she nudged him and showed him the phone, he smiled, and
nodded his head, as if JSachiel could hear him through the text.
Jasper liked Sachiel. They got a long well, despite Jasper
originally thinking that Sachiel didn't like him. He still
objected though, nudging the woman back. "Don't make promises
for me!" he scolded. But in reality he was happy. "Which reminds
me..." He pulled out his pohone and went to his recent texts,
The second person, directly under his manager, was Kaylee. He
sent a message for her as well. "Sachiel, eh? I guess you could
do worse! ;) (We'll discuss your ceurfew later!" Then he
listened as Aoife listed all the things she wanted to see.
"Sounds like we've got quite a trip coming! Better get plenty of
       sleep on the plane!"

Dark brows furrowed in thought, hands placing her phone in her
lap before going to her hair to take out the pins holding the
curled strands up. Auburn tresses fell down, curled kinked from
the many hours of being up – which reminds her, she forgot to
take her makeup off. “Um… Games..” As pondered the thought she
got to her feet and went to the bathroom she told Jasper about
to clean her face, makeup wipes easily rubbing the product from
her skin. Next she washed it, applying a floral scented
moisturizer to keep her skin healthy before making her way back
to Jasper, plopping down in the same spot she left.
But then the idea struck her. Aoife’s face brightened at the
idea, and she stood up with determination. “I’ve got the perfect
thing.” She immediately ruled out the game consoles and anything
that would have them up and moving – it was late after all, most
of her neighbors were sleeping and definitely wouldn’t
appreciate the two stars prancing around like elephants. Instead
she opted for something that would keep them active but wouldn’t
be much of a disturbance to the neighbors.
Aoife disappeared in her room only to return moments later with
an original Bop It in her hands and a large smile on her face.
“I, Sir Jasper, challenge you to a duel.” She was quick to turn
his attention away from the plane ride, a seed of fear was
already planted in her stomach and beginning to grow with each
passing second that brought them closer to the departure. Her
hands offered the toy to him, bowing gracefully before taking
her spot once more. “As always, ladies first.”
