Hi, obviously all of you know me in the roleplaying community
and if you dont I am known here as JD or The Dragon in some
cases. I wanna take a minute to touch on one thing, this forum
that I am about to make, it has no set enviroment for you to
roleplay in. There is no set storylines no plans no anything,
but this is a place for us to roleplay like we used to on
myyearbook I pop into a forum type out an entrance and leave it
there for people to read, if you are a para-poster great come in
and roleplay. If you are a one-liner come and roleplay it does
not matter what your style of play is here. There is only one
rule here...dont write with your mind write with your heart,
dont plan anything out. Let the keyboard speak for you. So
without further ranting I will post the first entrance into this
forum.
Each finger plucked expertly across the strings of the lute,
each note echoing above the sounds of the normal bar scene.
Another note echoed through, this time the noise died down all
eyes falling upon the hooded figure that sat in the corner of
the bar. He rocked his chair forward and back enough so the
flames of the fireplace could do nothing more than reach out and
lightly caress the skin of his face though still not showing
anything but the small scar that littered the bottom right of
his face. Silence stuck around for a few more seconds, all eyes
continuing to be drawn to the corner, the bard that seemed like
he had something to say. The man laid the lute down to the side
of the rocking chair and stopped the rocking for mere moments to
gaze around the bar before a low tone escaped his lips.
"The dragon, a beast rivaled in legends by no man or beast,
tales spoken of the eldest of their kind being able to take gods
on with as little effort as the god has to put into killing men.
They are the perfect beings, but yet this tells the story of the
dragon that was tamed by a fairy, a dragon that protects the
fairies from all harm all because of this one creature. Here is
how the story goes, the dragon had fought in a war one of the
bloodiest among humans and dragons tore across the ages. The
human population was pushed near to the brink of destruction..we
almost lost our lives. The humans discovered a weapon in a tomb
deep underground releasing from the depths a very powerful and
ancient demon. It was said that this demon pushed the two armies
to fight on each others side...and then the true battle began.."
"One demon vs an Army..? We all know the story bard."
"Do you now?...Then tell me have you heard this part...The
dragon stepped forth and challenged the demon in one on one
combat. The fight lasted for days the two of the massive
creatures not giving ground..they fought like demons until the
end of a week when the dragon won and came out almost dead. He
laid to the ground and waited for the dragon god to grasp him
and take him to the world beyond...to paradise. Instead though
hovered a human sized fairy..this fairy began tending to the
wounds of the dragon, each stitch each wrapping done by
herself..the dragon and the fairy bonded after getting through
each others stubborness to the point the two were the best of
friends...even now the dragon guards the village in the fairy
forest and forest itself.."
The bard took a look around the bar, the looks of fascination
earning him a few gold pieces and leaving him to ponder. What he
needed now was a traveling companion to see the world together
once again. He took a deep breath, eyes shifting to the door
hoping that for the sake of him that somebody walked through
that could provide him with that adventure...

[ Mmm, this is kind of short. Sorry. <3 ]
The longer the night drew on, the colder it became. While the
woman was not entirely adverse to the cold, even she could only
handle a certain amount of it until the flickering of a fire was
desired. Her ivory skin had become chilled to the touch and her
fingers were beginning to ache, causing her to long desperately
for home and the consistent heat. However, home was no longer an
option, so the bar she had come across would have to do to warm
her bones for tonight. The door slowly swung shut behind her,
whipping up the deep green cloak around her delicate frame. Her
eyes jumped from place to place about the interior of the bar,
taking in the sight of it, making sure that she would be safe.
Initially sensing no danger, she reached up and brushed her hood
back from her head, allowing it to lay against her back as she
made her way further inside.
It turned out that she had made it inside just in time to be
settled in a seat of her own with a mug of warm cider nestled
between her hands to witness the tale that was told by the
stranger. Blue eyes made their way to the bard that sat in one
corner as he began to recount a rather fantastical story
concerning dragons and fairies. She sipped carefully from her
drink as she listened, finely tuned ears registering each and
very word and detail. Her eyes flickered to the one that
interrupted, a bit perturbed by the unnecessary outburst before
they moved back to the main attraction of her interest. The
cider warmed her hands and mouth, while the story warmed the
rest of her, offering her a reason to smile.
Setting the half empty mug on a table, Arris rose from her seat
and made her way closer. The bar had fallen into the normal
chatter and clink of glasses now that the story had come and
gone. She held her cloak with one hand and made her way over to
the lonely bard, seemingly lost in his own mind at the time. A
few strands of her brown hair fell into her face as she looked
down at him where he sat, blue eyes pronounced in the shadow as
if they held some sort of light source of their own. A soft
smile drew up one side of her full lips, and she crouched down
beside of his chair in one graceful movement.
"Is the story true?" Arris spoke, her voice light and sweet as
it slipped from her lips. There was a touch of wonder in her
eyes, curiosity. She had always been curious, ever since she was
but a small girl. Now there was rarely a person that would teach
her something she knew nothing about. After a moment of silence,
she posed a follow up question. "Have you ever met a dragon?"
And yet another. "Or a fairy?" She brushed her hair behind one
ear, showing off a very subtle point at the top, hardly visible
to anyone that wasn't looking for it. A trademark of her own
fairy blood.

When the sounds in the bar picked back up at the end of the tale
a light sigh danced through parted lips. His eyes lingered on
the flame, they danced for him following his own thoughts in a
tango that only the two of them would know. Dragons and Fairies
were real creatures, and yet to the folks that sat here in a
doomed city they were nothing but a fairy tale to calm their
wildest fears. Though simple and dark thoughts were broken in a
mere instance, soft chatter faded away and one voice gracefully
slipped through his ears. It didn't take him any time at all
before his own ominous voice echoed from beneath the dark cloak
he wore.
"To the people here dragons and Fairies are nothing more than
tales told to satisfy their desire to live in a fantasy world.
Yet in the world out and beyond the tales of dragons and fairies
are closer to home than they think, dragons creatures who eyes
are gold as gems before shining brightly in the sun that hovers
above and the fairy a dangerously clever little creature that
could kill you with a mere flick of the wrist. Yes the two of
those creatures exist even now, though they walk amongst us
mortals...able to hide their form much like a shadow hides in
the night."
Pointed ears escaped the brown locks of the woman's hair pushing
through the strands to let him know they were there. Why does
the woman tempted such questions from a lowly bard? Why does she
ask of him the beliefs of dragons and Fairies? He does nothing
more than tell the stories and legends that echo across the
planes, he asked no questions till he himself searched for the
answers. Finally once again his thoughts subsided leaving him to
finally look up at the woman so she could peer within the cloak.
Deep violet eyes stared up at her a smile placed upon almost
peach colored lips, which parted to slip forth the same melodic
tone as once before.
"Why does curiousity line the thoughts of a mere woman? A woman
who is not as what she seems, yet still so perfectly able to
walk from the shadows of the night as if the darkness itself
does not hold the creatures that go bump. Power echoes from
you...and yet you are much like the calm before the storm....I
am Ilidrium, and you are?"

(( gonna post randomly))
A small orb, possibly dust, caught Cam's eye and diverted her
attention away from the scene unfolding infront of her. Her
attention always was easy to catch. Training her green eyes on
the orb, focusing on it, she came to the realization that what
she saw was no bug. No ghost. Not even was it dust. This orb
looked human. Cam reflexively widened her eyes in shock and her
jaw dropped open a bit. She shook her head and began to blink.
When none of that worked to clear away the tiny being in front
of her, she was forced to either consider the possibility that
she was crazy or faries were real. Perhaps it was both. She
couldnt be reasonably sure either way. Swallowing several
breaths she keeps her eyes on the fairy. Transfixed. Unable to
look away.
