A learning experience. Lunaris & Winter Ochoa
By: Kevin Alexander Lunaris Date: February 3, 2015, 4:00 pm

The scene is a vast void of nothing but white. A room created in
the cracks of reality for the sould perpouse of teaching one how
to fight. Upon the request of its creator it could take the
shape of any terrain imaginable. From the Empty sads of a desert
to the scortching insides of a volcano. This is where he would
teach any of those willing to learn. All one had to do to get
here was call upon him, asking for entrance to be allowed.

Soraya wandered into the vast white area. The silence was almost
unbearable so she simply kept walking so that the 'clicks' and
'clacks' of her black boots would stimulate her senses, if only
a bit. Long black hair was tied behind her head in a simple
braid which extended down her back. When she could not walk
anymore, the woman stopped at folded her arms over her chest as
the green vessels that were her eyes, stared into the endless
colorless room, waiting for another to meet her there.

As she stopped and folded her arms over her chest a set of eyes
appeared not more than six feet from where she was standing.
They had an eary glow about them, like the hot cinders of a
fire, and ever moving combination of red, orange and yellow. No
normal man would has eyes as such as these, and from them fire
began to spread. Outward and downward, as it moved from the eyes
in the space behind it the man became visible. Like the fire was
burning his existence into the fabric of this created realm. His
skin pale and white, whith hair to match the snow. Tall and this
with his muscular buld hidden by clothes that just hung off his
skin loose enough to keep his physic hidden. This was the man
made of fire, the abyssal known as Kevin.
Though the glow of his eyes set an odd shadow upon his face,
giving him an eary outlook. His expression was calm and
       freindly.
       "Welcome to the training grounds."

Her arms fell politely to her sides as he appeared. Soraya wore
a simple white tank top and a pair of jeans. She had kept it
simple for the reason that it would be able to move while
training. The woman dipped her head to demonstrate respect
       towards him.
       "Thank you," she replied.
When her chin had lifted, her eyes drifted up and down the man's
materialized body. A faint smile tugged at the corners of her
       lips.
"I am Soraya and I am here seeking training," she said.
The woman remained eerily still as she waited for his reply.

Upon inspection of his body it was easy to see that his loose
clothing hid a very thing and muscular physic. The definition of
his arms could be seen because of the short sleeves of his black
t shirt. His legs were covered in straight fit blue jeans and
his feet had simple converse of red and black. He watched as she
dipped to bow in a show of respect. He watched as she stood
straight. His hand held out in the air to his side a sword
appeared in the same way he had. Flames licking forth from his
grip to reveal the green sheath and silk white hilt.
"Soraya it is very nice to meet you."
He put his hand at his waist and bowed down. Showing her the
same respect that she had just shown to him. As he stood he took
a moment to examine her body more closely, he stood at almost
       seven feet when standing straight.
"How would you like to start?"

Soraya was tall, but nothing compared to his near seven foot
stature. Masculinity edged the hardened muscles on his arms as
he stood before her. From that alone she gathered that he was
strong, but she was unable to accurately predict the extent of
       his strength.
The weapon that he had summoned into existence was breathtaking
in both intimidation and beauty. along her right forearm,
segments of tanned skin turned pale. The skin that faded in
color soon appeared in intricate designs of vines that snaked
down all the way down to her fingers. A black mist flowed out of
her fingertips then and when it settled back into oblivion, a
       crimson blade remained.
"I would like to be on the defensive to start since I feel as
though that is the area in which I need the most practice," she
       replied.

He nodded and turned on his heels to walk away from her. Each
step he took the ground seemed to blossom under his feet as the
reality around them formed to his thoughts. A grassie plain
rolled out around them, lush with green life. Seperated by a
calm river that flowed almost silently asside from the calming
sound of trickling water. This continued to stretch out almost
as far as the eye could see, untill in the very far distance
trees surounded the plains. Birds could be heard from the
surrounding forrests. He continued his pace untill they were
standing almost 30 feet apart. As he turned to face her he
unseathed his blade, a kantana style blade of all sile white.
the hand gaurd jade green in color to match the symbol edged
into the flat of his blade just above it. In the process of his
turn it began to glow an errie green as energy built inside it.
"Ill start off slow, and relativley simple."
He raised his kantana above his head, doing so slowly to give
her time to ready herself. Then in not much more than a flicker
he slashed the blade downward infront of him, a verticle torrent
of green energy springing forth as he did so. It raced at her
much faster than most would expect and left a groove in the
ground as it passed along. Leaving a trench of two to three feet
       in its wake.

The woman silently watched as the man retreated some thirty feet
before her abruptly turned and faced her. Tipping her chin, she
gives a simple nod in reply to his words. When he sliced down
and sent a torrent of energy at her, she had little time to
       react.
Bringing up her weapon, a grey mist appeared in front of her and
wrapped around the air in front of the woman. It was relatively
thin, but it consisted of three layers. When the energy struck
it, tiny particles within the mist acted like leeches and they
preyed on the energy, hoping to slow it down a bit and begin
dividing it. The second layer was deprived of simple chemicals
that made the air within a hostile environment for anything
within. Finally, the third layer acted like a trampoline and
anything that was able to make it to it would reflect off and be
pushed back into the second and then layer again.
Soraya waited to see if her defense was successful and if he
       could counter anything.

The energy collided with all three layers almost simotaniously.
It was enough to stop it but the force of it being stopped and
the attempt to re direct made the energy reflect upon itself and
explode. Whilst the first layer did a impressive job toabsorb
the energy from the explosion it wouldnt be enough to stop it
completly. The force wasent enough to break ground but it did
leave it scorched. Seeing as the mist was almost directly
infront of Soraya he was sure it would atleast have a small
impact on her. That would be enough to draw her attantion. So in
that instant of the explosion he was gone. Moving with enough
speed to not be seen by an untrained eye.
He was sure to keep his distance at about the 30 pace mark but
not he was behind her. With a simple wave of his hand he
unleashed a torrent of flame that would rival that of a napalm
gun. He focused his eyes on her and kept the flame as a stream
so it would continue to burn not just a ball of fire.
