       Deadelous & Allene
By: Derek Daemon Date: December 15, 2014, 10:53 pm
       ---------------------------------------------------------
The man's figure was small looking as he sat upon the small park
bench. Though he was skinny he was definitely tall. His body
covered by a completely black hoody. The hood up over his face
as he kept his hands in the pocket of his hoody. His dark blue
jeans hugging his legs as they sagged down but held up from his
belt. His feet covered with steel toed boots and he sat quietly.
The crisp fall air waving every so often past and showed his
breath. He wasn't sure what to do, what he could do anymore. He
shrugged and slowly stood up from where he sat and turned to his
left looking further into the park and started walking. Not sure
where he was going, or why. But he figure he might as well do
something. He slowly shifted his head back and forth as he
looked around and blinked every so often. Checking to make sure
he wasn't followed or anyone was actually there. The back of his
hoody rustled a little as he shifted his back slightly.
Loosening the hood slowly before he kept walking and looking
       around.
He stood a tall 6 feet and 2 inches. His figure slightly small
but still bearing muscle obviously as he walked a normal slow
one foot at a time pace through the park he was sure to observe
everything around him. Even sometimes without looking he still
saw everything. Every animal and flower, tree and person. Yet
still something wasn't right. He shrugged and slowly shook his
head. Trying to reassure himself it was nothing. He sighed and
stopped in the middle of a small park area and looked around.
Trying to even find something that might have ticked his senses
off. Still thoroughly confused he pulled his hood down and
waited. Standing completely still as he searched the park of
       anything suspicious.

Her brown curls flowed freely over her shoulders. A smile upon
her face and a coffee in her hand. Every sound seemed to echo
around her. Birds chirping. Chipmunks and Squirrels chattering.
It was truly a beautiful day. She had just gotten a big
promotion at work and she was fitting it with mortals quite
well. It wasn't that she wasn't a mortal, she just wasn't human.
In all senses of the word she was a witch. Nothing fancy about
it. But she was a powerful one.
She didn't like to use her powers unless needed though. Even
though she used a luck spell to help her with work. Now she
would have to wait for the personal gain clause. Nothing would
probably happen. She had done several spells like that before
and nothing happened. Still she always worried. She never
understood why in the end when nothing happened but it didn't
matter. She was had to keep her guard up. She never knew what
was out there. Watching and waiting. But she didn't want to
think about that now. She pulled her brown coat tighter around
her and continued her walk through the park.

His eyes flitted open as he looked around listening to loud
"Clicking" of shoes as he blinked and searched his surroundings.
Hearing the heels step louder as he slowly walked towards the
sound. A fairly large gust of wind going past as he looked
around again coming to a four-way intersection in the park and
he looked to his left seeing the figure of a woman clashing in
the dark wooded area of the park. He squinted as his back
rustled again and he coughed into his hand. Smelling something
different. This wasn't the scent of a mortal, no it was far from
it actually. He slowly shook his head and started walking
towards her his hood still up. He wasn't straight up just
slouched as he slowly move towards the woman to get a better
       sense.
Without even standing up he started sprinting towards her. His
hood slowly pulling from his head as he swore to himself.
Shaking his head as he knew he wouldn't have much more time.
Slowly his steps padded the ground as another gust of wind
pushed towards them, then a loud creaking echoing around the
woman as he dove towards her. "Look out!" He Lightly yelled as
he pulled her coffee from her hand and grabbed her around the
waist before falling down and making sure she fell on top of
him. Just as she did a very loud crashing "Boom" Resounded from
behind them as he yelled out. "Oh, son of a!.." Stopping himself
he growled out lowly. "Excuse me Miss, I didn't mean to
interrupt your day, but I kinda have a tree on my foot so unless
I can get that off... I'm gonna take some serious damage..."

Of course, personal gain would strike. And it did, but really a
tree? Was this karma's idea f a joke? She sighed. And who was
this guy? A guardian angel? She sighed and shook her head, long
brow curls falling over her shoulder. She wouldn't stop using
magic how she wanted though. She just had to figure out how to
word her spells properly so that way there was no personal gain
from it. She looked around and gathered her things and empty
coffee cup. She heard the man speaking behind her. Then she
realized. The tree was on his foot. "Oh my god!" She jumped away
from him and looked around to assess the situation.
She knelt beside the tree and pushed on it, trying to roll it
away but to no avail. She needed help to move it. but there was
no one around. What was she going to do. She sighed and made
sure he couldn't see her face as she whispered a couple of words
under her breath. Then she gave one final heave against the tree
and it rolled away, Moving off of his foot. Then she moved to
his foot and looked up at him. "It looks broken. I think you
should go to the hospital Sir. By the way, my name is Allene.
Thank you for saving my life. I'm just so terribly sorry that it
effected you and caused you an unneeded injury."

He shook his head and looked around making sure no one else was
around to see. Slowly leaning down and pulling his foot up as it
popped and his knee twitched. He growled lowly in pain before he
slowly rolled his foot around and rubbed his ankles looking up
at her. "If I can take a sprained foot instead of someone dying
on their own bad karma..." He shrugged and blinked still looking
up at her as he got a fix on the damage to his foot before he
shook his head. "My name is Deadelous by the way, and no I'm not
a stalker, I just so happened to pick up on a wind pattern and
hearing the tree giving way before it fell..." He sighed and lay
back pulling himself back slightly before he pushed himself up
onto his feet and spun around. Getting his foot ready before he
turned and looked at her. "Now what did you do to almost get
whacked by a tree is what I'm still wondering?" He looked at her
raising his eyebrow before he stretched and watched her.
Awaiting an answer before he crossed his arms and blinked.
Knowing too well the tree was way heavier than she could lift.
Obviously she had other powers otherwise he would have had to
       remove the tree himself.

He wasn't mortal whatever he was. Besides for the fact that he
knew about the whole personal gain thing, a tree like that
would have shattered every bone in his foot. She sighed and sat
down. "I've been trying so hard to have a normal life. I just
needed this promotion so bad. I cast a little spell to help me
succeed at my job. It was just a luck spell. But I've cast a
couple spells recently that is for personal gain. The truth is
though. I'm trying to escape my past. People don't accept
witches so well you know. I just want to live a normal life. But
hey, I can do this for you. " She looked around to make sure no
one was around. Luckily no one was.
She stretched her hand out over his foot and whispered a couple
of words. White light shined from between her hand and his
ankle. She smiled and moved her hand away, leaving his ankle
healed. "I'm sorry my bad Karma got you. I'll do an aura
cleansing tonight to try to fix this okay? That way no one else
is hurt because of my bad judgement." She sighed and closed her
eyes. Then she opened them and stood up. "Well I should be going
it was nice meeting you, Deadelous.'
She reached her hand out to help him up. "You know that's a
pretty interesting name. Deadelous." She smiled once he was
standing and shook his hand before dropping it. "I just hope
none of the witch hunters are around. I'm just getting
comfortable here. I'm not ready to move y-" Before she could
finish speaking an arrow wizzed by her head, landing on a nearby
tree that was still upright. She walked over to it, the white
arrow. The same mark of the witch hunter that has been tracking
her for a while. She saw a note attached t the arrow. She took
it off and unrolled it. "I've found you again. You know you
can't hide, you will burn witch." She crumpled up the paper and
threw it to the ground. "I wish that hunter would show himself.
I will kill him. When he makes his move I'll be ready. But I
don't want to cause the salem witch trials all over again, so I
think I'll just go pack up to move first. It was nice meeting
       you again Deadelous.'

He reached his hand up just as the arrow whizzed by and plucked
a feather from the fletching of the arrow as he examined it.
Letting her speak freely as he chuckled and shook his head. "No
of course I'm not a mortal. Anymore..." He shook his head and
sighed again. Slowly walking closer to her as she had finished.
His eyes looking over the arrow itself as he nodded. "Well, I'll
tell you one thing, it's not just a witch that they've hunted
before..." He sighed and held up the rather large white feather
as he shook his head. "This definitely isn't good..." Without a
second thought his opposite hand reached behind himself as he
rustled behind his shoulder for a second. Slightly wincing as he
slipped a feather from behind himself.
The exact same kind of feather as his own. He growled and held
the feathers in the same hand as he shook his head. "You are
going no where till this prick shows himself... We may not know
each other but you got me into this and I'm gonna help you out
of it." He stood up straight and held his footing as he shook
his head. "Just because he's been hunting witches for who knows
how long doesn't mean he can take us on with my skill and
yours." Looking around the area quickly he listened to unnatural
breaks in the wind as he shook his head. "Wherever he is he's
long gone, the only things around are small game and mostly
small birds." After he finished he blinked and looked at her.
"I'm a fallen angel alright, I chose to come back and watch over
humanity... I help where I can..." He nodded again as he sighed
and looked around again. "I know that's what you were wondering
since I stood up fine with your help, regardless of the
healing." He shrugged and blinked. "I could have stood up either
way but, I do appreciate the patch up, I'd probably have been
hurt if it had landed on my knee more than my foot though, it
could have been a lot worse."

She sighed. Whoever it was happened to be long gone now. She
stretched and sighed." It's time for me to go, if what you say
is the truth, he is not someone I want to find myself around. If
you would like to join me and help me if he tries to find me
again, I would be most grateful." She took a few steps and
looked down at her pants. They were ruined dirt and grass stains
all up the legs. She had just bought them too. She could change
it back if she wanted to cast a little spell to save the pants
but it was nothing she had any intention of doing. She had
enough karma trying to get her. She was curious about something
       though.
She walked over to the tree and down to the stump. If she was
correct karma had nothing to do with it. She ran her hand over
the smooth surface where the tree had separated from the bottom
part of the tree. Someone had cut it. She looked up to
Deadelous. This wasn't an attempt on me from karma. This was the
hunter attempting to take my life, or scare me, or get my
attention. Either way he's not going to win. It's time to go."
With that she turned from the park leaving the angel behind.
Knowing if he wanted anything to do with her, or the insane
stalker she had, he would follow her. A small little part of her
prayed he would follow her. Another part knew that friends were
weakness. She didn't want to risk anyone, for what she happens
       to be cursed with.
