Camp Black Moon ~Forward Base of Žariko~
By: Dems Darkfire Date: December 15, 2014, 3:48 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Black Moon was the main operation base and forward outpost for
Zariko. Located Half a mile in the deeper plains outside the
city of Clockwork. The outpost was behind a large part of his
force, but a small part was in reserve for protection of the
Camp itself. While not large, the camp itself held about 40
standing royal guards in the service of their king. The camp
itself was 8 tents surrounding a central tent that served as
both the command center and Zariko's personal quarters for the
time being. Outside of the tents there was a wooden wall
protecting the encampment and just outside of that wall was a
ditch used for more protection. Just outside the encampment was
the rest of the reserve force. These camps broke into several
sections surrounding the walls. Two of the best regiments
situated themselves on either side of the front gate and a third
on the opposite side covering the back gate.

His voice traveled, carrying words to every corner of the camp
as his howl filled the air. The burning fire his words carried
threatened to ignite the camp and turn it to ash as he barked at
his commanders. "Whhhat do you mean you can't find her? Or
them?" His fist slammed into the command center table, nearly
splintering the wood with the force of his blow as he stared
down a rather new general who had the gall to return to him
without results. "t.the scouting party returned. Only a quarter
survived, sir. They couldn't find your sister or your brother's
exact whereabouts." The rest of his generals looked on in horror
as Zariko cleared the table and wrapped a paw around the throat
of the young general.
His eyes shifted, the normal glowing sandy gold splashing with
blood red as his Wolf trotted near him, growling lowly as Zariko
bared his own fangs. "I don't want to hear it. If they could not
get me results, they should not have returned at all and YOU
SHOULD NOT BE HERE TELLING ME YOU FAILED!" His hand crunched
down for a moment, his powerful grip lifting the man from his
feet and off the ground almost a foot. His most senior general
placed a hand on his shoulder and spoke. "Your highness. Mind
your temper." Zariko knew exactly why his friend would tell him
such, and with a quick turn, Zariko dropped the scrawny new
general and ordered hm taken from the tent by the guards.
His eyes returned to normal, shining gold once more as he stared
down the rest of his staff. "What other news is there among my
many commanders... My many comrades. Anyone have news on where
we should move next. The whereabouts of my other sister or that
weakling brother of mine and his merry band of plebeians?"
Zariko walked as he talked, making his way over to the chair he
had claimed as his throne for the time being. The plush red
velvet was trimmed with a white thread and the plush cushions
gave way into a dominating iron frame that towered overhead. Two
wolves leaped forward from the top of the throne, covering
Zariko from the top and threatening any who approached him.
Beside his throne the wolf sat, a manifestation of his inner
soul that never seemed to leave him. The rest of the staff
remained quiet. Not a one speaking in fear of encouraging the
kings seemingly short temper this day. All but one...
Darude, his highest general, spoke up. "If there is nothing to
report, then may we ask the commander's permission to take
leave?" Zariko smiled, leaning up. He placed his elbow against
the arm of his chair, folding it back as he set his chin against
his closed fist. "Leave... Ser Darude? Yes, I figure that is all
we need this day. I have other business to attend to. You all
are dismissed." Each man placed their fist over their heart and
then bowed to the king before exiting the tent. Zariko remained
for a moment, pondering what he was going to do about the
predicament he had found himself in. Here he was, stuck in
Kausterin for the time, of all god forsaken places. He would
consult someone special on this matter of his brother.
Zariko exited his tent with all the fervor of a new recruit and
exited the inner circle to a tent much farther off from the
rest. This tent stood away from any gate and from any of the
other tents in the circle of this encampment. Zariko stopped at
a few of the inner fires to talk with his guards. Making sure
that he afforded each of them the attention they deserved for
protecting his person. Each one greeted him just as the last had
and then he moved his way through the many people and walked
into the back tent. He few open the flap and entered the
establishment. With a coy smile, the devilish man looked to the
many cages that would hold prisoners of war. There, in the two
back cages, Zariko gave a bright smile to two prisoners who
stood there. "Well Hello, Uncle. I have some questions for you."

The dirt wasn't the liking for a man so accustomed to warm sand,
and broken crag. This grass was shit in compariosn, but if
nothing else it could be afforded as to idealize a bed or
something. Arias peered past his cell to the young girl in the
far corner, she had been given especially careful attention, but
that was expected. Fayte, was the youngest living female to the
Asader name, a woman to be and young with rich... blood that no
doubt.. the traitor Zariko had already claimed for himself by
his own mind.
he motioned to the girl ignoring any warning a passing guard
might give him. They listened to Zariko, but many of them still
knew Arias for his station among the Asader name. He was the
leader for too long, a student of Saccuro and a great friend,
only by having married into the family though. he was not of
true true blood as the children he protected. "Fayte.. " he
called, but the girl was either ignoring him, lost in her
thoughts and predicaments, or asleep. He wasn't allowed time to
figure it out.
Like a well strut boar, the young wolf walked into the tent and
instantly took notice of him in shackles and plenty of other
unique contraptions to prevent a seasoned warrior from
inevitable escape. Zariko was smart to bind him so... and by
using diamond for his manacles, as well.. Steel would have been
his undoing. Arias peered to the boy and smirked. "Oh? questions
for me, but how can I make myself comfy in such ragged dirty
clothes, and shitty confinement, your not very good at keeping
guests Im afraid." He was snarky in the worst of ways, but
elegant as he spoke. "So then out with it, ask me your questions
so I can get on with denying you your answers, and all the world
can be right as it should be."

"Ohh uncle. That is not very kind of you, is it. Denying me what
I need to know." Zariko motioned to the guards and had them
unlock the cage. He stood before his uncle, strung up like a
torture victim before him in his many different restraints.
Zariko rolled his shoulders, stretching his neck for a few
moments, rotating his head around in a circle as he sighed. "You
should be dead, old man. You should be buried in the dirt, but
the only reason you are alive is because I wished it. SO why
don't you return the favor to me and tell me where that stinking
traitor of a brother of mine is hiding." Zariko did not wait for
an answer before he sent a sturdy fist straight into the stomach
of his uncle.
Zariko backed away from his punch, leaning himself against the
bars of the cage across from his uncle's restraints. His hands
grasped the bar spacer for a second as he looked over the ragged
man. "You're not guests here. You're prisoners. You're a
traitor, uncle. and traitors do not need pleasantries." Zariko
leaned his head back against the bars and chuckled to himself,
staring up at the top of the tent as his wolf began to trot in
from the back of the tent. It did not come into the cage that
it's master shared with the traitor, but laid down and watched
the front entrance. The wolf watched carefully any who walked
past the tent, it's red eyes with the gold streak moving with
their footsteps. Zariko waited. "How about it uncle. Tell me
where that weakling hides, and maybe I'll let you share the joys
of being guests in my encampment."

These shackles burned on her wrists...burned with the
realization that she was detained, and a prisoner of her own
flesh, and blood. They burned with a reminder that she could not
get away, that her pride was forcefully sacrificed to Zariko
because of his selfish greed, and lust for power. They
just...burned. Fayte sat in the corner of her cage, golden eyes
turned to the ground. She hadnt spoken in days, and she'd begun
to refuse food, and drink as it was so generously offered to
her. She noticed that, unlike her Uncle in the cell directly
next to her own, she had been kept comfortable...other than the
shackles at her wrists. The prideful pup wouldnt accept a single
smidgen of kindness from the filth who was her eldest brother.
The snow haired beauty knelt on the ground, her extremely long
hair pooled around her as she leaned back against the bars. She
could feel Arias' eyes on her, and she could hear his voice, but
she never answered him, hadnt for days. The girl simply didnt
feel the need to hear his talk of a better tomorrow, or that
things would get better. Being caged was not better. The wolf
needed to be free, her wild pride couldnt handle this for much
longer.
Not long after Arias had called out her name did the beast enter
his tent, a smug smile gracing his lips. Zariko didnt address
her, but their uncle this time. He asked questions of where
their brother may be, but as usual, Arias would deny his
knowledge of knowing the where abouts of Kayis. Did he even
know? Was he lying, or speaking truth? Fayte finally looked up
from the ground, purple bags showing under her eyes as she gazed
through the bars to watch soundlessly as Zariko struck Arias.
She winced at the action, the chains of her shackles crying out
with a metallic clank. The girl rose to her feet, and walked
over to the side of her cell where she could be closest to
Arias, and her brother, sun kissed gaze glaring down Zariko as
he spoke. He spoke of them being guests here...but the lie he
had spoken wasnt missed by his youngest sister. "No one should
want to be here. Guest, or prisoner, you fool! You deserve to be
hated by our people! I hope you never find Kayis!" Fayte shouted
at him, the wolfish ears upon her head laying back as her glared
flared with anger, and hatred. She kicked at the ground, a
furious growl ripping up from her throat. The idiot would never
see. He'd never learn while his selfish lust clouded his every
judgement.

Arias buckled from the hit and coughed. His ribs hurt, even
though he'd tightened for the incoming blow. This was nothing
good, Zariko had him in a shitty situation,a nd he had to stay
alive to make sure that Fayte didn't suffer. Zariko wasn't going
to accept anything close to the truth however. Arias had no idea
where any of the others were... well.. he knew where one was but
that wasn't what had been asked of him. he heard Fayte spit in
her venom and sighed. he loved the little wolf, but she had a
tempter for days.. In ways she reminded him of their mother.
"Fayte, don't give him the satisfaction." Was all he said as he
glared daggers up into Zariko's eyes. He had to make this
convincing. "Kayis.. has traveled to Seristel. He seeks the aid
of the Senteri. Outside of that I haven't given him any further
instruction, so who the hell knows what else he is going to do.
Now Iv told you what you wanted to know." Arias looked over to
Fayte half expecting her to hate him for revealing the location
of her brother, but even then he had to keep his mask ever
present while he looked to her with deep guilt.

Zariko rolled his shoulders as his sister spoke, his eyes
flashing a glow of red as he simply lifted his foot up into the
air and sent it crashing into the ground. The tremor ripped
through the ground and suddenly appeared as a small pillar
launching up for the young girls stomach and knocking her back
deeper into the cage once again. "Little wolf. I will hear no
words from the weaker side of the family. I will find that
traitor brother of mine and I will remove the obstacle. Just
like I did the last one." The wolf moved from its laying spot
and trotted over to stare at Zariko for a second, letting out a
soft growl towards the man. "Ohh, I know. I shouldn't torture my
sister so. But her voice..." Zariko brought his index and middle
finger to the left side of his head, rubbing the temple he found
there as he sighed. "Just sends my head in circles." The Wolf
laid down between him and his sister's cage, watching them.
Zariko stared down his uncle, listening as he warned his sister
and then spoke of where Kayis was moving towards. The entire
time, Zariko looked to the floor as if it was about to tell him
everything he wanted to know itself. Zariko closed his eyes,
taking in what could be false information about his brother. But
he was going to have to take it. It was the first lead his uncle
had given him in a long time. "Anything you want that Bastard to
know before I send out the Hell Scouts to talk to him?" Zariko
grinned widely at the proposed use of his most elite scouts to
talk with his brother. "I'm sure your message could be given.
Maybe from the grave." Zariko held nothing back on his second
punch, this time landing a deciding blow against the chin of his
uncle before following up with another beastly paw to the
stomach. Zariko simply walked from the cage, locked it once more
and then waited. "Nothing? Okay." He walked toward the exit now,
the wolf quickly following him as he began his exit.

---------------------------------------------------------
Johns eyes finally slipped open, their golden gaze shifting
around the room, it was unnaturally dark as if the room itself
was elsewhere in the world in a place with no light. He blinked
a couple times trying to get his sight to work, trying to see
anything that would allow him to know where he was, or why he
was here. He tried to move, struggling forward only to hear the
clanging of metal and feel the resistance of chains keeping him
held in place. Great, he was imprisoned. It must have been from
that group of scouts earlier....the ones we intercepted and
killed, but if we killed them all who captured us, who brought
us in. Then a scream pierced the veil of darkness and a lump
formed in his dry throat, followed by a look of complete dread
upon his face.... a second scream and his heart sank. He tried
to move again, more forcefully yanking against the chains
binding him, trying without mercy to make his way toward the
screams. He shouted, his voice carrying through the darkness,
that hope for the woman on the other side.
"Lana, I am coming sweetheart...I will take you from here back
home, I promise I will find out whats going on here and we will
go home to little johnny...and Onyx, Just give me some....."
"Well, Well, Well.....the knight making promises he can't keep
again, what was it you said on the battlefield when you
slaughtered that group of spies. Hmm. What was it John? I
believe it was, by the glory of some idiot I shall slay all of
you demons, was it not?"
"But Lana, we fight for the glory of Arias and Kayis, the true
Asader name! Wasn't that what we decided on when the families
split? Zariko and that other thing were monsters, they killed
ruthlessly and with no reason...if they find out where Kayis is
it could be all over...."
Irulon snickered, even now the knight believed that the girl he
was talking to was his wife, this was glorious and perfect
humor. He shifted his feet forward so that John could hear the
clanging of metal against stone, carrying him towards the light
switch. He pulled it down flooding the room with a bright white
light, for a second everyone was blinded including Irulon but he
didn't care, he still shifted around the room like a dancer on
stage. When John's eyes adjusted his entire body and heart sank.
His eyes stared across at was once his loving wife, she sat
there naked in front of him cuts along every inch of her body as
if some animal got to her. Irulon continued his dance around the
room, a ghastly smile perfectly upon his lips...he stopped
behind John and raised the man's chin, allowing him a better
look of his wife's sweet face.
The ghastly sight he was sure would cause all hope to leave the
eyes of the leader of that platoon, and right on queue it all
faded and despair replaced it. Lana's eyes had been plucked from
her skull leaving two empty sockets that stared at where her
husband was. Cut marks scaled down from where her eyes once
were, seeming to trail along what could only have been tears.
Her lips had been carved into a permanent smile. Irulon shifted
in front of John, blocking out the view and speaking n a female
voice that mimicked Lana's almost perfectly, that ghastly smile
never leaving his face.
"Come now sweetheart, do you not like my art? How about the
voice changer I made out of her voice box? Do you like that?
Come on there is always something humorous about situations like
this isn't there? Like..."
Irulon leaned in close to John's ear, the smile upon his face
shifting to the saddest of looks, he removed the voice changer
from his lips. A serpent's tongue ran along his lips, collecting
the sweet woman's scarlet nectar as if he were a starved animal.
Once again he spoke like a venomous snake, each word laced with
the same sickeningly-sweet tone John had moments ago when
speaking about him and his cousin...
"You slaughtered a lot of good men in cold blood, that were only
out there because they wanted to join you guys in the
festivities. So I took your wife and children and brought them
back here, and we played a little game of doctor." A laugh left
the psycho's lips dancing through the silenced room as he
flipped the man around so he could stare upon the surgery table
in the back. John's children lie dissected upon the silver slab,
organs swapped like clothing between their bodies.
"No, No! This is a dream, you can't live! God would not allow
it! You are more of a demon than Zariko...you are worse..."
"No, No dear John buddy....Demons were once Angels that fell
from Heaven, I've been this way from the beginning....now I will
only ask you once since you slaughtered a very good unit. Where
is Kayis Asader? Or where is my papa?"
John looked towards the psycho man before him, his once hopeful
eyes filled with despair...but still pure resistance and hatred
for the man before him. He spit towards Irulon, the spit landing
on the side of his face almost in the same instance. "I will
never spill where either of our lords are, so do your worst....I
hope the gods slaughter that sick cousin of yours and you
permanently." Irulon reached up and ran his fingers down the
side of his face, wiping the stain of John's spit away. The
audacity of this....this lower class citizen to spit on him. He
couldn't even make Irulon laugh, his face curled into an even
bigger smile as he stepped closer to John, that sinister smile
quickly dissolving into sick laughter.
"As you wish John, my worst to come and you shall be the first
to receive it."
Raw screams of pain were all to be heard from the cold room for
quite a while, all the more enjoyment to the white-haired
assassin. But soon enough screams died into silence and the
entertainment for the night lost its humor, and Irulon shied
away from his stage. He sighed as John's limp body fell to the
ground a look of satisfaction upon his face, he thought he had
done good with this work of art. Now that John and his whole
unit had become works of art, Irulon was left restless, lacking
entertainment. Why was Zariko taking so long to call on him? He
breathed a light sigh of boredom his face slinking down as he
plopped back into a chair, another huff leaving his lips.
"Why must....."
"Sir, Zariko wishes to speak to you and calls your presence
immediately"
"Finally, something to do!"
Irulon turned to face the scout that had brought him the message
but he was already gone disappeared from the dungeon that was
his. Perfect, that meant they at least learned something from
him, his smile returned to his lips and he didn't bother to
change or clean up any of the blood that fell across his body as
he moved up the stairs and out into the camp. Now here everybody
knew Irulon's reputation and that's why he had joined Zariko.
His cousin was the true heir to the throne and had promised
Irulon years upon years of entertainment which was all Irulon
asked for. Soon he stood before his loving cousin, Irulon
dipping his head low into a bow that ghastly smile never leaving
his lips.
"You have summoned me, dear cousin?"

Zariko had but exited the tent of the prisoners when his cousin
had approached him. It was like he had a sensor for this kind of
thing. The wolf at his side growled at the this particular man,
as he always did when he appeared from the darkness. Some part
of the good left in him hated this cousin, but he was more than
useful, and loyal, to Zariko. "Irulon. Just the person I had
sent for. I need a task completed. Something shadowy and right
up your alley, dear cousin." Zariko flicked his hand in the
direction of the war tent and began to walk, summoning his
family to stroll with him. The wolf trotted behind, still on
guard around Irulon.
As they walked, troops bowed to him and ignored his speech when
he spoke bluntly to his cousin. "It seems Arias has given us the
location of our dearest friend and long lost cousin Kayis. He
says the boy is hiding out in Seristel, seeking the aide of
those bastard Senteri. I need you to go there, and work your
shadows on the land. Take a dispatch of the Hellguard with you.
Find him and bring me his current location, if you can nab any
movement plans, do so. If you can bring me him, alive, do so."
Zariko shrugged and then chuckled. "Bringing me his head will do
just as well." With that Zariko threw the flap of the Command
tent open and turned to his cousin. "On second thought, send one
of out better Hellguard back with any information. Use the rest
to cause trouble for our dear traitorous cousin." Zariko walked
in and let the flap drop. Orders had been given.

By: Irulon Asader Date: December 29, 2014, 7:25 am
---------------------------------------------------------
Irulon breathed a light sigh as he stepped beyond the metallic
door back into the sanctuary of his, this place was void of any
death or blood unlike his torture dungeon. Inside this room
actually was nothing, stepping inside a cold air would dance
around the body causing a light shiver to dance across his body.
He shut the door behind him shifting his hand up and covering
the metallic door in a thick slab of earth, his eyes shifting
shut. He slowly spun around the room his feet twirling like a
ballerina around the dark room, the claws of darkness drawing
him in and pulling him into a tight hug. He smiled within the
warmth of the darkness, it was like the hand of the father he
never had gracing him with the love and fatherly warmth that he
needed. Irulon leaned into the embrace of the darkness and only
listened as the whisper echoed around him, the smile gracing
Irulon's lips with each utterance.
"I get to kill my other cousin, Kayis, coward of the Asader
family. He shall become another puppet to the puppet
master...the darkness that has put its trust into me..."
Another whisper danced through the air, barely audible enough
for the younger Asader to hear, but just enough for him to
understand. The darkness retreated at the sound of beating upon
the metallic door outside, Irulon glared at the door, his once
joyful smile now a sour frown. Who would dare interrupt the time
he spent with his father? He shifted forward the anger apparent
upon his face, the earth that was infront of the door was hacked
to pieces by the very air that filled the room a green haze all
that was left from where the slab once was. He pulled open the
door forcefully and stared upon the hellguard soldier that stood
on the outside of the door, fear rocked through the guards eyes
as he the golden stare of the Asader assassin. Jorge took a
light bow and began to speak, his voice was shaky as he spoke
and he took deep gulps of breaths knowing that his life could
end at a moments notice.
"Sire.......Irulon.....we.....are.....ready, ...whenever....you
are"
Irulon's smile returned at the frightened little hellguard, he
clicked his finger claws together making a clanking sound that
echoed through the halls of the empty underground complex. The
young Asader reached down and grasped the back of the man's
armor and lifted him to a standing position, the smile only
widening as he circled Jorge's frightened form. Irulon spoke as
he came around back to the front of the man and met him eye to
eye.
"I appreciate the message, and I will let the hellguard know
that you carried out your orders despite the wonderful
consequences that have been placed upon you now."
Irulon left through the door that led to the camp, the tip of
his tongue flicking out and lapping up the sweet crimson nectar
that leaked down the metal of his claws. He still preferred the
taste of female blood over male, either way he stepped right
past the unit of hellguard knights that stood at attention
waiting for his orders. He never gave orders, he mostly let the
men do what they wanted until they needed to actually get
something done and for now Irulon wasn't even ready to leave. He
searched around the encampment, weaving in and out of people who
did their jobs....well their forced jobs. He moved until he came
to one of the only booths that sat up in the camp, it was a
booth that had a lot of different things for sale but what
caught his eye was a a perfect looking treat. He reached out for
the treat ready to curl his hand around it, but instead his hand
was grabbed and stopped before he could even take it.
His golden eyes shifted up to the woman who grabbed him, her
deep yellow eye upon his own...she had a pair of deep yellow
serpent like eyes, if Irulon didn't know any better he would
have mistaken her for a dracomis. She spoke lightly her fingers
curling around his hand and a light hiss leaving her lips as she
spoke, light words slipping to the ears of the assassin.
"You can buy it Asader or move on..I am not one of your servants
or slaves, I make sweets and sell them here to give you people
something other than blood to feast on."
She had spunk he gave her that, he laid the gold swiftly upon
the table with a devious smile his fingers remaining curled
around the top of the bag. The serpent woman grasped the bag,
and went to remove it from the counter and in that moment that
Irulon made his move, he shifted his other hand behind the
womans head and pulled her close to him just enough so she would
be the only one to hear any comment he made. He spoke next his
obviously normal amused tone was gone replaced by a sadistic
tone of glee, a tone that caused a shiver to rock through the
woman's whole body.
"Well then miss, no slave or servant of mine, how about we
change that....you will make these little sweets for me....and I
will pay you for them.....but just remember..."
His tongue slipped through his lips at that point trailing along
the lobe of her ear, Matilda closed her eyes fear dancing
through every inch of her body.
"If the production stops, I have always wanted to know what the
blood of a serpent taste like"
He finally let the woman go grabbing the lollipop from the booth
and slipping off, pulling it from its wrapper and popping it in
his mouth. He moved towards the gates, to the outside world
towards where that traitorous Kayis was....this would be the
beginning to a play that would be talked about for ages to come.
