"So she wants to become an animal..." A sick, twisted, laugh was
heard from seemingly nowhere as Maximus' fur slowly stood up on
end; a growl escaping his lips. Even Hex and Lex took a few
steps back until they were completely out of sight. The water
from the fountain slowly starting to boil and change in color;
filling in a deep scarlet. Max remaining silent except his
growls as he merely tilted his head to look back. Remaining in
between the girl and the pond in almost a protective position.
The voice breaking through once more as a figure began to emerge
from the water; covered in the scarlet "water." "Seems she is a
bit confused, brother. If animal is what she wants she is
looking in the wrong place."
Finally fully emerged the scarlet liquid seemed to drain down
from his body to expose a man standing there; his long hair as
black as coal. Hanging down past his shoulders with his scarlet
eyes glaring through the gap in the strands of hair. His torso
completely bare as tattoos riddles his body. A large rose stem
cascading down around his arm with the thorns stabbing into his
arm. A single rose tattooed on the same hand as it seemed to
bleed off the red coloring. On his left shoulder images of
black, tribal, wolves running down his bicep. Though, unable for
them to see, a large black dragon displayed proudly on his back.
Wearing a pair of large, black, baggy pants with chains hanging
from either side. Large black boots covering his legs under the
pants as he made his way out of the pond.
"Razor..." Maximus said with a low growl as he kept close to
Kanna. Trying to shield her from even looking at him. Razor
letting out a laugh as he put his hands up in the air in a
shrug. "Oh, now that's not nice. Treating your brother so
harshly. What have I ever done to you?" Maximus turned to face
him after those words; a glare in his eyes. "You know damn well
what." Razor could only smirk with his two fangs glimmering. "Oh
yeah. That's right. Killing you and taking your power. Come on.
You should learn to let things go. Now, darling, why don't you
show me your pretty little face?" He attempted to look past Max
with a curious, cocky, glance.

Who was this new person? His scent was so much stronger than
Maximus' and they didn't seem like friends. She could see every
hair on his back stand straight up. Razor. His name was Razor.
And he smelled wonderful. Far more wonderful than that of
Maximus. And his scent was spicy. Like a strong an potent
mixture. He wasn't like Maximus. She could feel her heart beat
rising. What was this? he drew her more than Maximus did. She
thought she wanted to roll in his scent but she wanted Razors
scent so much more. Maximus stayed close to her. Was he being
possessive of her? Then Razor gave her the answer she was
looking for. Who was he? Max's brother. Her eyes moved up to
Maximus' face, who was intent on watching his brother.
Razor called to her himself. Asking her to come forward. His
voice working as a lure. Stepping out from behind Max to look
unto the face of this man. Her eyes darkening more when his full
scent caught her. Nearly knocking her backwards, she almost felt
drunk. Who was this magnificent man before her? Hex, and Lex had
disappeared. It should have set off a warning in her head but
she was far too drunk. His scent overpowering her. She looked to
Max. He would probably try to stop her, but she just had to.
Just a little taste of him. Just his scent. to see the glisten
of his fangs up close.
Moving quickly away from Max she made a bee line for Razor. Her
heart rate increasing by the second. She could almost taste how
he smelled. It was wonderful. She stopped just before him,
staring up to his face a smile playing on her face. 'Hey there,
I'm Kanna." She whispered. Breathing deeply through her nose,
Such a wonderful scent, she wanted to draw it in so much. He
smelled so much more wonderful. She bit her lip, trying not to
pant and make a fool of her self. "You know. You smell really
good."

Razor smirked as the girl approached him; extending his hand out
towards her in a welcoming motion. Once she got close enough his
hand placed itself on her arm. Slowly sliding up her skin with a
smooth trace of his fingers. Gliding up her neck and onto her
cheek. Gently rubbing the back of his fingers against the soft
skin as his smirk remained strong. His eyes showed temptation:
sin. Everything wrong in the world pulsing within his eyes like
the very flames of hell. A threat. An enticement. He spoke in a
calm, seductive, whisper as his eye remained focused on her.
"How cute... Max. How could you keep such a doll away from me?
Afraid I might steal her?" With that he only flashed a glance to
Max; a challenging glance. He wanted Max to make a move. Claim
what was his.
Though, Maximus did no such thing. Simply watching the two of
them as he clench his claws tightly; holding back the
animalistic urge. Razor only chuckled at the sight as his hand
gently turned Kanna's head to make her glance to Max; who
immediately looked away. "You see, girl? He would never be able
to teach you how to be an animal. He is too human himself.
Kindness. Respect. Discipline. These are all traits shunned by
the animals." With that he turned her head back to face him.
Leaning forward for his lips to hover inches from her shoulder
and neck; taking in a whiff of her only womanly aroma. "Lust.
Envy. Greed. These are not sins. These are traits of animals...
And nothing is more fun than being purely...." He smirked as he
brought his lips up under her ear; speaking in a seductive
whisper. "... Primal."

His words danced through her head like a song. Lust, greed. Such
wonderful things if thought about in the right light. Razor was
very enticing. Everything about him screamed out to her to join
him. Stay with him and enjoy him. Primal. Such a word could
apply to so many things. Things she hungered for more now than
ever. She could feel it. He was a breath away from taking her.
Something she was dangerously close to wanting. Wanting all the
things he offered in his eyes. something Max didn't seem to want
to offer her. Razor made a good case against him. Should she
choose to leave Max behind. Max.
The clouds in her eyes seemed to part slightly. Max was kind.
And decent. And he saved her. He was respectable. And he didn't
talk to her like she was a snack. He didn't touch her with out
permission. Though she did him. And he helped her beyond measure
accepting things. And Hex and Lex. They didn't seem to Like
Razor, why? She looked up to Razor. All these thoughts causing
the clouds to clear from her eyes. Hey there, I'm Kanna. Her own
words echoed in her head. He called her girl. Not Kanna. The
clouds faded from her eyes and a smile crossed her face.
"Yeah, he may still have all the things that make him human, and
that may not be fine to you, but it is for me. At least I can
trust him. At least he's going to be there for me in ways I
doubt you could be for anyone. He has honor, and he respects me,
and he doesn't look at me like I'm something to eat. And further
more." She jerked her arm away from him and waked over to Max.
"He remembers my name."

Maximus kept his eyes averted, but, chuckled at the words she
spoke. Breaking into the conversation with a smug tone of voice.
"Better luck next time, Razor. Seems a friend tops a lover." For
a moment Razor's eyes flashed an undying rage in reply to her
words, though, his expression remained calm and cocky. Razor
letting out a chuckle in reply to Max as he slipped his hands
into his pockets. He looked to Max with a now kind, happy,
glance as if they actually were brothers. Though, the sense of
good versus evil was still there. A thick rivalry that just
seemed to hover in the air. "Yeah, well, you can't help a guy
for trying, can ya? Not like she's yours... Yet." Max merely
grinned as he shook his head in reply walking next to Kanna.
"No, can't say I can." Though, it was obvious he attempted to
pretend he didn't hear Razor's "yet" comment.
Though, Razor did not leave. Walking away from the two of them
as he circled the still scarlet pond; looking down at the
"water" with a contemplative glance. His eyes slowly drifting up
to barely see the twins sitting in a near by bush; watching
Razor with fearful glances. His face turning back into a smirk
as he called out to them. Holding up his arms into what seemed
to be an offer of a hug. "Lex, why if it isn't my favorite
niece. Why don't you come give your uncle Raz a hug?" But, she
remained in the bushes; silent. Razor finally putting his hands
down to his sides. Looking over to Kanna and Max once more;
letting out a sigh. "You people sure know how to make a guest
feel welcome." Max quickly chimed in "An uninvited guest, you
mean?" Razor only chuckled and shook his head with a sigh.
"Well, then maybe I should go.... What do you think, Kanna?" He
turned his attention once more to the girl with a smirk on his
lips.

She couldn't help but hang onto the word yet. Was there a
possibility of a future with Max? He seemed very not interested
in anything like that. She sighed. Even if he wasn't it would be
better than the sham that Razor offered her. He was really all
of those things she said. And so much more. He could offer her a
future beyond that of a lover. He could teach her independence.
And could teach her to control herself. While truly being the
animal that was inside of her. Did she want Max? Maybe so. Did
she want Razor? Beyond words, but she could never choose someone
like that. Even if it meant friendship forever. She could never
be friends with someone like Razor. It shocked her how she knew
that without even knowing him.
When Razors eyes found her and asked if she thought he should
leave her response inwardly was NO STAY! He even used her name.
But ignoring that, she looked over at him returning his smirk.
"Do I want you to leave? Well let me see. You turned a beautiful
place into something that I would never want anything to do
with.' She pointed to the water. "You insulted my friend
multiple times." She raised her hand to Max. "And you chased off
my other new friends. They don't want you here, it doesn't seem
like Max wants you here, so do you really think I want you here?
This is just about how much I want you to stay here."
She glared at Razor before turning to Max, leaning up on her
toes and pressing her lips to his. His lips were amazing. They
tasted just like he smelled. Now that she was thinking clearly
she could see how much better he smelled than Razor. She growled
softly, taking the kiss further, not even meaning to. She just
enjoying the feel of her lips against his, but then she drew
back. Knowing that it was an unwanted kiss, and only meant to
prove a point. She turned back in the direction of Razor. "As
you can see I've made my decision. I don't want anything from
you Razor."

Razor listened with a chuckle until it was cut off by the sight
of the kiss. His pierced eyebrow going up in a glance of
curiosity as he watched. She seemed a bit into it as Max was
completely shocked by it; his eyes wide. Razor only laughed once
again as he stepped into the red water. "Well, well, well. Looks
like I have a story to share with Roy; if he doesn't shoot me on
sight. Yet another girl falls for the broken heart. Only to
break it even worse in the end." Razor shook his head at the
thought as he walked closer and closer to the center; his knees
now submerged. "Well, if you ever get tired of the heart break
you know where I'll be." He gave Max a smile before he turned
over to the girl. "And, Kanna. If you ever get tired of the
light I'll find you." He gave her a wink only for the scarlet
water to envelope his body as if he were melting into it. The
red color draining away only to leave the crystal clear water
behind.
Maximus' eyes wide as his body began to shed the thick fur;
slowly shrinking down to his more human form. He opened his
mouth to speak, but, his voice just wouldn't come. Hex slowly
stepping out as he looked to the two of them now that Razor was
gone. Signalling Lex to join as she did just that. Her own
cheeks blushing as Hex started to laugh. "Well. I would say
you're pitching a tent, but, you don't exactly have pants on."
Though; Lex was clenching on a dagger. Scoffing at the sight as
she walked off into the woods. Hex letting out a sigh as he had
known why she walked off. Max finally speaking as he covered
himself with his hands. "I... Ugh... Need clothes. And we should
probably go get her..." It was obvious he was quite to avoid
what had just transpired.

She glared at Razor as he disappeared into the lake. His words
couldn't be true, could they? She sighed and relaxed when the
water became the color it was supposed to be. At least he was
gone. She still couldn't help but feel a little sting from the
words that Razor said. He couldn't be that bad could he? She saw
Hex come out from the bush and almost waved, before a strange
look crossed his face and he pointed out Max's state. She
whirled around to see the truth of it. his hands just covering
himself before hand. A blush rose on her cheeks as she caught a
shadow of a glimpse of it. Though she didn't entirely mind the
sight of it. Her heart rate picking up again. Not this again.
She caught sight of Lex waking by angrily. What was wrong with
her? Was she upset about Razor being there? Razor did speak
directly to her. Maybe that bothered her. She sighed. Razor got
under her skin too. Not in quite the same way really but she
didn't want to think about that. Or Razor himself. Or what he
said about Max breaking her heart. She couldn't believe it. Not
in anyway. Max said he needed clothes. Where in the hell would
they get clothes around here? And besides he had promised her
training. She wanted more time near him. She wanted to release
her inner wolf and bend to his will only. She wasn't ready to
give that up. "I thought you and I were going to hunt? So why
not instead we find Lex and then we continue trying to change me
so you can take me on a hunt?"

Maximus shook his head in reply to her words; turning his head
to where Lex had run off. Letting out a bit of a sigh before
looking back to Kanna. Speaking in a sorry tone as his eyes
seemed... Regretful. "Lex needs some time to herself right now.
So we go hunt now. These woods are riddled with vampires and
werewolves alike. One of them is bound to have clothes. It is
time I had a change of appearance anyway." With that he quickly
turned around with yet another sigh; taking the time to gather
his thoughts for the moment. What was he supposed to do? Lex and
now Kanna. Both of them after the same goal. He was unsure if he
would even allow one to reach that goal, but, now it made it
worse. If he were to accept one he would be infuriating the
other. He needed time to think. Time to get his mind straight.
Which would be impossible if he didn't get some clothes soon the
way things were headed. He did not want the situation to evolve
even more.
So, with that he looked to Hex; gesturing with his hands. "Find
your sister. She didn't go far. You know the drill. I am going
to go take Kanna out hunting with me. I am bound to find a
vampire with some clothes on his back. Maybe a werewolf, but, I
doubt that. I'll be back." With that he turned back to look over
his shoulder; speaking back to Kanna. "Come on. Let's go out
hunting. You will find that animal in you first hand. Just
remember. Do not let a vampire bite you. A vampire bite on a
werewolf or a werewolf bite on a vampire can be deadly. So,
don't fall far behind." With that he started walking; entering
the woods with ease.
Once in the woods it would seem all trace of the fountain had
been erased. Feeling as if they were smack dead in the center of
the forest as if they were lost. The quick scurry of foot steps
and rustle of leaves coming from all around them. Kanna would
smell it just like Max; vampires. They were here already. A pack
of them. Waiting. Though, as one launched from the bushes at him
Max's hand alone turned into claws; gripping the man by the neck
and slamming down the male into the dirt with a snap of it's
neck. The male vampire wearing a bikers jacket on top of a white
shirt. Along with just a dark pair of blue jeans. Looks like Max
had already found his clothes, but, he couldn't get dressed just
yet. There was still a pack of them circling him and Kanna.
"Think, Kanna... Kill or be killed... Eat or starve... Survival
of the fittest. Either they will be your meal or you will be
theirs... You can change... You just have to force it. Unleash
it. Don't hold back..."

She waked with him for a while. At least he was comfortable
being nude around her again. Now that she wasn't trying to kill
him and calling him a pedophile. She followed him silently not
sure of the direction they were even headed. She was getting
more and more lost the deeper she went into the woods with him.
He warned her about the risk of a vampire bite. She could barely
focus on that, everything smelled. She could strangely separate
these smells one from another though. She had the urge to stop
and sniff everything, but couldn't fall behind. So instead she
followed closely behind, almost forgetting Max was naked, only
enjoying his company.
Something smelled. Vaguely like Max's brother. She sighed
something she didn't want to go through again. But another
excuse to kiss Max? Not a bad idea. But she was wrong. A vampire
launched himself out, only to meet the claws of Max. This was
it. She had to change. But her clothes. She ran behind Max,
giving the impression that she was hiding like a little girl,
when in fact she was using him to shield her as she stripped
down. Completely nude behind him. She covered her breasts and
closed her eyes. His scent washed over her again and she could
feel her heart beating fast again. She had to focus. She looked
into the eyes of the animal she pictured, she imagined setting
it free, she felt her body ducking down. She felt her body erupt
in a layer of black fur, her eyes now felt different, her face
was changing. She felt her hair moving aside as something burst
from the top of her head. "Come on deary, we haven't got all day
to make you a snack." She opened her eyes looking down at
herself. She was somewhere half way through the change. She was
covered in fur, her hands were now paws with claws sticking out
and her feet much the same, she felt a tail wagging, yet she
held the shape of a human. The stance an all, she even still had
breasts. What went wrong? She looked at Max, before moving past
him, she couldn't finish the change and she would have to do it
with out it. She tackled one of the vampires and clenched her
claws around his throat before ripping it out and pulling his
head off with the other.
Her victory was short lived however. The other two vampires made
themselves present, one taking her bottom half and the other
taking her top half. "Hey she's kinda pretty." One laughed, the
other only shook his head. "Nah, she's half wolfed out right
now. Look at her." He reached down and squeezed her breast and
laughed. The two completely forgetting about Max, as they
realized she was on her own with this. She squirmed trying to
get away. Kicking her legs an arms, but to no avail. "She'll
make a delicious snack." She remembered the way Razor looked at
her. She was going to die right here if she couldn't get away,
but the vampires were strong. She looked over at Max, a tear
streaming down her face as the one holding her legs yanked her
tail. "Please Max. Help me."
