The Eternal Forest
By: Evil Kitty Date: December 15, 2014, 12:36 am

The Eternal Forest
This is a place full of many mythical creatures of many origins.
Be it dragons, chimeras, werewolves, tribal vampires, and many
others. A very dangerous and nearly impossible to navigate area,
though, it's beauty is something that which strike even the most
cold hearted with awe. The leaves constantly glowed with a
strange water that glowed in the moonlight by some chemical
reaction. Giving the leaves a bright green hue to them.
Though this area is nearly impossible to navigate some of the
most amazing things are buried deep in the center of the forest;
hidden away from those who are unworthy. Many of these landmarks
blessed so that only the kind of heart may stumble upon them.
Many even say that the gates to Heaven lie somewhere within the
brush.
The Fountain of Youth
This are lay directly in the center of the massive forest, but,
invisible from the air. It's water glowed a crystal blue hue as
strange, though beautiful, fish swam within the shallow water.
These fishes bodies seemed to have some form of transparent
bodies; only their pulse making them glow a deep red for a
moments time every time their small hearts gave a beat. Giving
the clear pond the illusion of red fireflies within the water.
The crystal blue water slid down from a massive crack within the
hillside right next to it; water always seeming to pour down
into it. Yet, it never overflowed. Never drained. It was as if
these waters were monitored by the god's themselves. Every drop
being priceless to them and the mortals that are gifted.
This land was the calming hide out to the immortal known as
Maximus Tyret. Though, these waters were not what gave him his
immortality.
Maximus laid quickly with his naked body plunged deep into the
water up to his lower chest; his arms draped out over the bank
of the land surrounding the water. His eyes closed as he
listened to the scurrying and bickering of the two children that
lived with him. A boy's voice booming out. "I don't care, Lex!!!
It is my turn to play with him!!!"
A loud girls voice instantly retorting in reply. "He's a wolf,
Hex!! You can't call dibs on an animal!! Right, dad?" With that
Maximus' one eye creaked open and looked to the two of them.
Speaking in a soft, distracted, tone towards the two of them.
"You know I'm not your dad.... I don't see why you insist on
calling me that... But, Lex is right. It is a living thing. He
comes and goes when he wants.. You can't call 'Dibs'." Max
couldn't help but to laugh a bit at the idea of the argument.

"I'm an adult now Daddy." The twenty year old stopped her foot.
Looking back and forth between her mother and father.
'Yes you are, but you know, mama's back isn't so good and we
need you to stay and help us." her father said. Which meant that
she needed to steal and look for anything that she could sell
for money.
"You could do that yourself, I want to do more with my life than
be a thief." She cried. With that she turned on her heel and
stormed away. Into the near by wooded area.
"Mama and I will set up camp before too long. You know how to
find us." Her father called. But she wouldn't have it. But Kanna
was done. She wasn't returning to them. They couldn't stop her.
At least the fact that they didn't take her seriously would be
time enough to get away. She kept walking through the forest,
and soon she became lost in it. She didn't have a destination.
She just wanted to get away. She was sure that they would never
find her though. She had been walking for hours and had taken
many twists and turns. Soon she heard water and voices. People?
Where? She set her sights now on finding who ever it was. They
sounded like children.

Maximus lay in his warm pool of clear, fluorescent, water as he
continued to listen to the pickering of the children. "You know
that's completely unfair!! I never get to do anything around
here! You guys are always ganging up on me!" The loud scoff of
the girl being heard in reply. "We don't gang up on you! We just
use logic, is all. Of course that's something you know nothing
about." This retort caused Max to chuckle once more and seep
lower down into the water; dipping his arms down under it
leaving only his head.
Though, he quickly sat up as he looked to the two purple haired
twins; letting out a loud "Shhh! Someone's here. Hex; Lex go
check it out." Though, before they could even do so the girl had
walked right into Maximus' domain. She was directly next to the
small pond so she would easily be able to see Max, in his nude
glory, Hex, Lex, and their "pet" wolf. Max's eyes were wide as
he stared at the girl; unsure of what to do. Usually the charm
on this sacred lake would prevent those from finding it. "I...
Uhhhh....." He couldn't speak as he frantically looked over to
his clothes a couple feet from him. "D.. Do you mind turning
around quick..?" His face was flush at this point; staring at
the girl with his nervous blue eyes.
Even the two twins were speechless as they stared down the girl.
Though, Hex was quick to break the awkward silence as he ran up
to the girl; his long purple hair falling over his face as he
looked over her. "Oh, I think she's human! She's pretty! Can I
keep her!? Huh!? Can I!?" His glance quickly shot over to Max as
if this girl was some kind of pet.

She stumbled through the woods till she found the water. It was
a small little pond. What she found there shocked her. A man,
who looked scarcely older than she. And two children. and a
wolf. The man was naked. She was too stunned for words at first
before she glared at the man who asked her to turn around.
"Excuse me sir, did you forget that these are children? They
don't need to see you in all your manly glory here. Take your
dog and go somewhere and make yourself decent." She was in a
rage. What in the hell did he think he was doing. She felt her
body shake, and her temperature rise. No way was she going to
allow a full grown man to be so indecent with children.
She turned to them and knelt down a little. "Come on, I'll take
you somewhere nice, he can't hurt you where we go, come on I'll
keep you safe. she reached into her boot and pulled out a
hunting knife. "I wouldn't suggest stopping me unless you want
to end up with your man hood cut off. I cannot believe you would
do something like this." She glared and pointed toward his
member with the knife. "I should cut it off just for finding you
in this position. What the hell were you doing to these
children. I should do the world a favor and kill you right here
and now. The world would have one less pervert in it.."

Both the children snickered at the scolding Maximus was
recieving as he could only sit there shocked and appauled. Only
able to mutter sad excuses for sentences as she continued on and
on. "I...." "Uuuugh...." "Wai..." But, once she knelt down to
the children Hex let out a laugh; holding both hands up as a
barrier formed around the girl. This made it so she would not
actually do anything drastic; being trapped in the rectangular
prison. Though this barrier didn't do much for blocking her
sight. Hex letting out a laugh as he held the barrier up.
"You're funny, girl. I like you."
Though, Lex looked down to the Max for a moment before blushing
and looking away. Speaking in a cocky, blatant, tone. "I told
you not to take your baths like... That." With a sigh Max stood
up out of the pool of water and walked over to his clothes.
Looking to the kids as he spoke; somewhat ignoring the new girls
presence. "And I told YOU to keep watch today. How'd that go?"
The girl only scoffed at his, obviously right, response.
Once he slipped his pants back on he walked around the pond just
in a pair of white dress pants. Stopping in front of the barrier
as he knocked on the side of it just to rub it in. Speaking in a
cocky tone. "I assure you. Those are not kids. Don't let their
looks fool you. Nothing around here is as it sees. So, now that
is over with...." He stood up straight with a smirk played
across his lips. Looking to the girl. "Are you calmed down so I
can let you out? I wouldn't suggest trying to harm me, though.
It won't work."

She realized she was trapped in the box. She couldn't escape
that. It seemed the little boy cast the barrier. Keeping her
from moving. She looked up at the naked man and glared. Thinking
this was his fault some how. She tried to fight the barrier but
it came to no avail. The children acted as if she was just the
funniest person they had seen and the man acted as if she
didn't exist. What kind of people were they?
She kept her gaze on the children when the man rose from the
water his whole body fully visible to her. She looked to the
children, were they brain washed by this man? She couldn't
understand what was going on. The kids acted as if this were
normal. This guy was sick. Really sick. She had to get them out
of here.
Finally he spoke to her. He told her the children weren't
children. So he was deranged. Great. Yet here she stood. Bound
by nothing. The boy spoke of her as if she were a pet, and he
seemed to be the one holding her in the prison she was in.
Something she would have to figure out later. First she wanted
to know exactly what was going on around here. So when he asked
if she was calm she simply nodded.

He watched as she nodded to his question; flashing her a kind
smirk. He spoke out in his normally cocky tone as he turned his
back towards the girl. "Well, it's a lie, but, it's a start. Go
ahead, Hex. Take down the barrier. She'll be fine. And no you
can't keep her. I don't even let you have normal pets. What
makes you think I'd let you have a girl? That's just insane. She
is... A somewhat intelligent being." He laughed at his own words
as he walked back to his clothes patiently. Grabbing his shirt
and coat as he slipped the shirt on; looking back to her.
He spoke to her in a calm tone as he slipped his hands into his
pockets. "I believe I owe you some kind of an explanation. This
here is the fountain of youth. I am what you would call a
werewolf. Of course I am a bit different from ordinary
werewolves, but, I wouldn't wanna toot my own horn." He smirked
though Lex quickly interrupted him. "Oh, get on with it
already."
He let out a sigh at the disrespect of the little girl Lex. "Oh
so impatient... Anyway. Those two? They are ancient mages that
guard the fountain of youth. As bad at the job as they are. They
seem to adore children's bodies for whatever reason. So, if you
are to judge anyone here it's them. Those 'children' as you see
them are little devils." With that he finally chuckled and lean
against a tree. "That story good enough for ya, girl? And what's
your name anyway. I like to remember names of those who threaten
me. I'm Maximus. Be sure to remember that."

What he was saying couldn't be true. These children could not be
anything other than children. That kind of thing didn't happen.
The fountain of youth? Werewolves, devils whatever, they were
all stories told to make children behave. She couldn't believe
him. She had to get these innocent children away from him.
Yet it made sense a little. The boy treating her like a pet. The
magic that she used on her. No she couldn't believe he was
telling the truth. It was all too crazy. Magic didn't exist. It
was a ploy that was used to distract someone long enough to get
what you wanted out of them. Or that's what she had always
known.
He told her his name. Maximus. Asking for hers so he would
remember the name of the woman who threatened to kill him. Did
she share it with him? Or give him a fake one? She was never a
good liar, so he would probably call her out and she would be
screwed. So instead she sighed. "My name is Kanna."

"Hmm..." He stood up straight from the tree he was leaned
against; looking over to her with that same smirk. Speaking in a
calm, though cocky, tone. "Kanna, huh? Nice name. I'll be sure
to remember it. And I would prove to you what I say is true,
but... Well. My clothes don't exactly fit once I transform. I am
sure we've seen enough nudity for today." He let out a laugh at
his words. Though, he was a bit amazed under his cocky, humored,
expression. This girl made it all the way here without
encountering any forms of werewolf, vampire, or chimeras? She
must be something special herself; even if she didn't know just
yet.
With these thoughts in mind in walked closer to the girl and
eyed over her; the occasional obvious sniff being heard from his
nose as he tried to familiar her scent. Though, he resisted
getting too close. "What confuses me is you smell human. Can you
tell me why you are here if you don't mind? I have always been
one to enjoy a good story, after all." With that Hex butted in
and let out a frustrated huff. "Hey, I saw her first!" Though,
his words were quickly shot down with a smack on the back of his
head. The little girl shaking her head as she rubbed her hand.
"You never learn do you?"

She wanted to laugh when the girl hit the young boy in the back
of his head. It seemed like something siblings would do. She
turned to Maximus. "You're right I have seen enough nudity out
of you for a life time." She sighed and looked down. "I'm
striking out on my own. I was a thief for my parents my whole
life and I just left them. Eventually I ended up here. Nothing
really special about it at all."
Did she want to believe him? Of course. He seemed to fully
believe the stories he told her. But that could also prove he
was delusional. Did she trust him? Hell no. But she would have
to find away for them to trust her. Especially the children.
They wouldn't be stuck with this delusional man for long. She
looked to the children. The boy. looked like Maximus. Perhaps he
was the boys father? The thought revolted Kanna all the same.
Maximus was a sick individual who believed himself to be a
werewolf. It was completely bull in her eyes.
