This was the pits... When Calyx turned 18 he was to go out and
experience all that the realms had to offer; To learn to become
a man. He had been from town to town, village to village, and he
had experienced nothing he couldn't have experienced back home.
He just missed his sisters. Everywhere he went, he thought about
Ember, and the strange meeting he had with Marie....
Nonetheless he kept moving forward, searching for the great
adventure that he had promised the Multiverse could offer him.
This time he found himself in a Large city called Citron. He
had heard of the place, even when he was back home. Perhaps he
could settle down here! His parents had given him enough money
to last him a year, so he would have to settle down soon, and
find employment, or else live a life of survival like his father
had. For starters though, he needed to find food. He hadn't
eaten in several days. He made his way to the center of town,
looking for a place to eat. He could figure the rest out later.

Aleaha was at it again. She found herself wandering around the
city without worrying about the consequences.
Something.....something primal caused her wandering. This time,
her wandering brought her to the park in the center of downtown.
Why would she go to such a populated part of the city in her
daze unless some sort of inspiration was meant to be found here.
Aleaha never went against her inner voice, it always found a way
for the woman to create works of art that made every art zealot
pay more than she ever thought possible under her pseudo name.
Swiftly, Aleah scaled the largest oak tree that she could find
to begin mapping out the peaceful scene laid before her. A small
mocha coloured hand flew across the page, creating line after
line in her under worked master piece.

Calyx' search for food instead lead him to a park. Compared to
the Realm of the Divine Dragon, it was tiny, but despite the
small space, it was full of people! Calyx forgot his original
purpose as he got lost in people watching. Hazel colored eyes
shifted left and right as they took in a million details at
once. Of course he knew that people came in all different shapes
and sizes, but seeing so many at once was different from just
knowing. People had all different skin colors, and eyes. They
had modifications to their bodies, and different styles, but the
one thing that they all had in common was that they walked with
purpose and intent.
Everyone passing through that park was using it as a path to get
to another destination. They were all so deep in their selves
that they didn't even notice each other! All except one person.
Calyx' observational skills had increased dramatically for him
to notice the one person who didn't fit the pattern. Rai would
be proud. Surely enough, the girl, instead of leaving the park
to reach her destination, she stopped, and climbed a large tree.
This made Calyx laugh to himself. And then she pulled out what
appeared to be a pad and began... taking notes? Curiosity got
the best of the young Draconian, as he walked over to the tree
and bent down low, before springing up toward the higher
branches of the tree, accidentally shooting far above the girl,
and landing on one of the uppermost branches.
He released a heavy sigh as he looked down and realized that he
couldn't even see the girl he had hoped to come up and speak to.
Now he had to climb down to find her. Luckily he was agile. He
found that he wasn't as far above her as he thought. It was
simply that the branches were thick, and visibility was low. It
took only a moment for him to reach her level, though he was now
on the opposite side of the tree. By climbing up just a bit, he
was easily able to position himself slo that he could see her,
but the image on the pad was still a mystery. "What are you
drawing?" His voice would ring out from not far from her, but
not close enough to reach out and touch. After all, he had been
taught to consider everyone a potential threat.

"I am drawing the scene in front of you. So much deep seeded
sadness in the world which not too many people can see. The
hustle and bustle of just this small park shows how people have
become blind to the beauty in the world and it makes their auras
sad but it still shows their determination and dedication to
their lives but so much hidden sadness......" Her hand wiped
away a quick tear before she returned to drawing. The sound of
the man should have scared her out of the tree but she took him
as another voice inside of her head.
"What are you doing in the tree instead of hustling along like
the rest of the world?"

Calyx Inched closer to the girl as she explained the scene she
was recreating. He hadn't seen what she saw while watching the
people before, but now that he was watching from above, it did
seem rather sad. Everyone seemed to be just going through the
motions. As busy as the scene was, there was no life... Was this
what he was sent out into the world for? To view it from
different standpoints?
Her question took him by surprise, mostly because he could
easily have asked the same of her. Sure painting was an
activity, but it was far from the same as everyone else. "I
guess you can say I don't have a hustle to pursue. I'm traveling
to experience the world, so I have no immediate goals like these
people." He dropped down so that he was on the same branch as
the girl so he could get a closer look. "You're talented." He
said. He was sure he couldn't create such a vivid image with
something as simple as a pencil. "My name is Calyx, by the way.
Sorry for surprising you like that."

"I would love to be able to travel the world just to experience
it. Your parents must be awesome to just send you into the world
with such a simple task but how do you know when you have enough
exposure to return home and let them know about what you have
went through? Or is it just your personal preference when you
have had enough time away?" Her eyes never turned away from the
people as she continued drawing the scene in front of them.
The feeling when her branch shook under the man's weight caused
the woman to drop her pencil on the ground with a soft squeal.
She didn't think of the voice to be attached to a real person.
It was suppose to be in her head, like all the other ones.
"Thank you for the compliment. I'm Aleaha. Just so you know, you
scared me." Her head fell down for a second as she searched in
her small back pack for another pencil, only to find a piece of
charcoal. "This will have to do I guess." With just a little
adjustment, she prepositioned her sketch pad and returned to
drawing the scene.

"You know... I asked the same question. Never did get an
answer..." Hazel eyes rolled to the sky for a second as he
thought of his dad trying to play the wise old sage. 'You'll
know when the time is right.' He wasn't fooling anyone. Probably
just trying to get as many kids out of the house as possible so
he could be alone with Raya.
"If you want to travel the world, why don't you?" He asked. It
seemed a bit odd that anyone would confine themselves. Maybe her
parents didn't want her to leave? Now that he thought about it,
he had very little idea how other species aged. She could be his
age, or centuries old! He didn't even know what species she was!
That was an odd conversation starter! 'Hi! what are you?!' He
had to stop himself from laughing aloud at the thought.
Her reaction when he joined her on her branch was priceless, but
he didn't laugh at her. "Sorry about that. It wasn't
intentional." He said. Winter or Ember would have known he was
there ages ago. He had to get used to other people's senses, and
announcing himself before approaching.
When she pulled a piece of charcoal from her bag and commited to
drawing with it, he held up his hand "Wait." he said. " I'll get
your pencil for you." It was his fault she dropped it after all.
He formed a small ball of water in the air above his hand; a
talent that Raijuta insisted he master. He wondered if it was a
good idea to use his powers here. He knew there were many people
in the Multiverse who didn't know about the supernatural. But it
was too late now. He dropped the ball down toward the ground,
and as it wrapped around the pencil, he froze it solid, floating
the chunk of ice, along with the pencil back up to the tree.
Then he evaporated the water and ice, and handed the pencil back
to the girl. "Sorry about that." He said bashfully. He then
inched away, to give her more space to continue.
