       Copirus +The city of Advancement+

Settled into a valley between three sloping hills of forest,
rest a dome like monument of the effort and tact placed by the
timeless race. Copirus is a network, a city of pure metla, and
forced energy that is most efficient. Much like modern day,
maybe more; the city has tvs and light shows everywhere that you
look. Every street has a shifting set of light arrows that seem
to help move the vehicles through polarity, rather than the use
of fuels. It was a place of technological advancement, vs the
rest of Airidiun, and by far one of the most well known
creations of the timeless race of cyborgs. The story however
does not start so easily in this city, rather it begins with
       this..
A loud boom cracked as fire lit the trees and burst the ground
into smoldering ash. A shell of an egg remained, but it did not
last long, the creature within stirring and the molting power
that seeped from the core of such indignant power only burst the
trees surrounding in flame. The crack of light was blinding
still to anyone who watched. However when sound and light faded,
       what remained was a boy.
At first a deep set of blue eyes seemed to pierce through the
smoke, before the blue burned from them, and only fire remained,
a deep azure topaz fire. Around him fire seemed to circle the
man, almost like a sheet of deep and bright blazes, until he was
returned from his nudity. he wore a deep red coat, and black
pants, though his chest was still uncovered, and markings, the
mark of fire, the etch of the phoenix kissed his chest with an
intricate level of art. Over his head the blaze continued until
a deep almost crimson set of brownish unkept hair floweds from
the top of his head. His remaining features filled in just
       after.
Almost on instinct, the boy cast his arm out and crawled from
the meteor like inferno of an egg. Fire burst from his side, and
behind him a pure black inferno came forth, only to fade to a
deep golden topaz much the same color as his eyes. The wing did
not remain for long, but the grass was charred by his step.
It took a moment for his spirit, his mind to catch up with
everything, but the first and most important thing he knew, was
that his name was Varidae. he was Varidae Reign... a Phoenix.
This was his 17th cycle. The rest filled in with the seconds
that followed and the Phoenix raised his hand, as a blade formed
from a sudden black and gold inferno. Varidea eyed the weapon
with a longing desire, a smile playing at his features when he
took his first swing with the weapon. it was light to the touch.
"This is my weapon.. this will be my 18th life... and yet I have
no idea yet how id like to spend it. In the past.. There was a
woman. maybe a child, the memories are still blurry... how silly
to think that everything might be so black and white." He
chuckled and the sword faded away, a sheathe with his weapon
forming at his side. Varidae started his walk towards the near
by city. all the while amused by his new found situation he
laughed to himself as he recognized the city. "Well, That's
       new."

"You're not going! If you do I'll just come and drag you back
here, Alecto.' Tisiphone yelled. Glaring at Alecto. Magaera
threw her hands in the air. "Why does she get to go anywhere?!?
I want to go! I hate that we have to be here!" She turned and
stormed off. 'Great! Just great, you know she can hold a grudge.
Dammit. But you know as well as I that we have jobs to do. I
really don't want you to be on the receiving end of my job."
Tisiphone was furious. Not that anger was what many used to
describe her. "I can't be here anymore. None of us have to be.
They have forgotten us anyway. Nobody cares about us anymore
anyway, we could walk out right now and nobody would notice we
were gone." Alecto crossed her arms. Tisiphone pinched the
bridge of her nose and shook her head."You're not going
anywhere. None of us are. Now if you don't mind I have to go
check on our sister." She turned and walked out, leaving Alecto
standing there more frustrated than ever. She turned and walked
       to her own quarters.
She wouldn't stay here anymore. Today was the day. The world had
become so advanced. She had heard stories about it. She had to
see it. but first she had to figure out a way for her to be
disguised from her sisters. She would have to keep them from
seeing her through whatever vessel she chose to hold her
essence. "You want to escape from here? I can help you." Alecto
turned towards the voice, only the silhouette of a man stood in
the corner. "Who are you." She took a step toward the figure.
"My name is of no concern to you. What I can offer you should be
the only concern to you." Alecto stared at the shadow. "What is
it that you have to offer?" The shadow moved over the table to
it's right, leaving the form of a man as it passed over becoming
more of the shape of a dark storm cloud, leaving behind it a
golden goblet. Then it took the shape of a man in the corner
again. "The drink will mask your essence from your sisters. They
will be unable to see who you are. " Alecto reached for the
goblet but drew back. "At what cost?"
The shadow chucked, "You are smart. But this believe it or not
is free for you. The price will be paid by another at a later
time. Nothing of which should concern you." Alecto paused,
unsure if she should take it. "What's the matter? Don't you want
your freedom? This is your chance." Alecto took the goblet and
drank. The room started spinning and she fell backwards. For a
moment it was dark. She sat up and looked around. "That must
have been a dream.' She whispered. Then she spotted the shadow.
"Nope it wasn't a dream. Your essence has been hidden. It will
no longer be visible to your sisters. But there are some
responsibilities you must know about. If you use any of your
eninyes abilities, they will feed your essence and it will grow
stronger. The less you use it the more likely it is to be
hidden. But you wont have to do it alone." The shadow pointed
it's hand toward the door, where a pure white fox sat. "That
creature is a familiar to you of sorts, it will help guide and
protect you. It will warn you as your essence grows and be a
companion to you. Enjoy your new life." Then the shadow was
       gone.
She looked around. She still had to use her powers a little to
find ad take her vessel. She used used one of her lower
abilities of transportation to leave, to go find her new vessel.
She found her vessel quickly. A beautiful girl who looked to be
in her twenties. Still she looked too innocent. It would take
work. Her hair was too long, and not nearly bold enough. She
would have to change the clothes too. She took over the vessel
and smiled this would do nicely. She would rename herself as
well. She used to fantasize about changing her name. She had the
perfect name already picked out. Dysis Kaya Gallio. A smile
spread across her new face as she went to work making herself at
       home in her new body.
Magaera smiled to Trisiphone. "I'm fine now really. You can go."
Trisiphone nodded. "If you need me come find me, I'm going to
check on our Alecto." Magaera nodded. "Go ahead." As soon as
Trisiphone left a voice floated up behind Magaera. "It is done."
She turned to the shadow. "She's gone? Already left." The shadow
nodded. "I need to take my payment now." The shadow moved around
impatiently. "She went to check on Alecto." The shadow moved
over the table leaving a goblet. "I already informed you how
this works." Magaera nodded. "Go collect now." The shadow moved
toward the door. "I didn't think you had it in you. Letting me
take your sisters life so you and Alecto could go free. I'm
proud to do business with you." With that it was gone, Magaera
took the goblet and drank from it.

It didn't take long at all for varidae to make his way into the
large dome of a city, but what he found was nothing short of
spectacular. The race of Progen had truly outdone themselves.
Magnetic fields helped to direct a new type of traffic, and
large electronic bill boards helped to promote product, it was
an industrial paradise. What threw him off most however, was the
out there strange look that people seemed to claim now. Most
wore metal upon their cheeks, and lips, others had outrageous
hair. From time to time he could notice a simple plain Jane like
he was mostly used to. It would take a bit of work for him to
get into the new style, but seeing the city posed another
question. How much of Airidiun had changed?
Suddenly varidae felt a small bump and looked down to see a man
glaring up at him. "You should watch yourself buddy" The boy
pointed and accused, but in reality he was the one not looking,
it was a mutual.. accident. "Oh? I should watch, but you can
continue staring at your device? what a silly little sentiment..
perhaps you will retract your statement and get out of my sight
mortal." A look of pure fear met the Pheonix as he stared deep
into the endless infernos of Varidae's eyes. "Whatever man..
yeah sorry." The boy rushed off after that and Varidae started
his walk down the shopping way. Nothing seemed to stand out to
him, hell he was honestly perfectly fine with his attire..
Perhaps one of those metal pieces wouldn't be horrible
       however...
Meep.. Meep! "Aye buddy what the hell are you doing in the
       middle of the road?!"
Varidae looked up to see several of the new age vehicles in a
line behind him, he couldn't help but smirk. "You expect someone
of my air to walk upon such a simple sidewalk along with
peasants?" The man in the first truck looked at him confused,
but retorted all the same. "Yeah, thats pretty much what the
damn sidewalk is for!" The Phoenix lit up at the tone of the
man, his deep red hair turning to a blazing fire in that moment
as he met the mans gaze with a glare of his own. "The insolent
tongue of mortals, begs to be plucked from its roots... This is
twice I have been insulted on my 18th name day. It will not be
tolerated again, nor will it now." The last words were hardly a
whisper before he raised his hand, and a stream of brilliant
topaz fire engulfed the side walk, and several of the buildings
around it. The people screamed and ran away from the scene, yet
Varidae looked at the man in the truck.
"I have no intention of moving any faster than I already am.
Follow if you will, but the next time you think it wise to speak
to me, make sure it is done in respect... "
So it was.. the Phoenix walked the street, followed by a very,
very long line of vehicles.. and with that, he drew the
attention of the Progen enforcers.. What a lovely day this was
       shaping up to be.

She looked in the girls bathroom at herself. Her hair was pink
with blond high lights. Her eyes were now a light blue, she wore
a black corset top with pink lace around it. One long black
sleeve with a pink design down the sleeve, and the other sleeve
looked to me more of a shoulder armor, but really was a white
lace material that was made to look that way, the same thing
extended from her pink and black belt that she wore over her
bottoms. Her bottoms were a pair of booty shorts that were plain
black. Her sleeve was actually half a jacket, which extended
down so far that she could wrap it around her leg if she wanted.
She smiled and looked back at her fox. "Well what do you think?"
The little fox whined at her. As if to warn her that that took
more magic than she should have used. 'Oh it's not that bad. I'm
sure they don't even know I"m gone." She smiles and turns back
to the mirror. Then realized what was missing. She snapped and a
black silk glove went over one of her hands, that went all the
way to her elbow. Then she slipped on a pink finger-less glove.
It's different, but she liked it, it was beautiful. She smiled
       happy with it.
"Katie? Who are you talking to?" Must be a roommate. It was a
female voice. She had to get out of there and fast. She placed
her hand on the fox and teleported out with the fox despite the
whines it produced in complaint. She found herself outside. She
was in a little town. not where she wanted to be by any means.
So she teleported away again, taking her fox with her. Soon she
came to a city Where was she? This city was weird. She'd heard
stories of how humans had developed in technology and developed
themselves. But the cars, were not ran by gas, and the people
were not dressed anything like her, but they weren't dressed
like the girl who's body she now inhabited. Someone walked into
her and she fell to the ground. Whoever it was didn't bother to
stop at all. She raised her hand, ready to snap his neck, but
the fox jumped up and bit her hand in warning. Dysis shook her
hand and stood up. People had certainly gotten rude.
Something bright caught her attention. She couldn't see what,
but she could smell that it was fire. She ran to the corner to
find out what it was. She saw a man standing in the road. Topaz
flames coming from him. She stood there in shock. She had heard
of them but she had never seen one. She looked down to the fox
then back to the man. No he wasn't a man. This creature that she
now looked at was a Phoenix. She wasn't even sure they existed.
Anymore at least. Not that she was surprised. There were those
that didn't believe she existed anymore. But a Phoenix. In broad
daylight? Maybe this world wasn't what she was told it was. She
listened to him speak. So majestically. So powerfully, and
confident as if the world were to bow at his feet. While most
would hate that, she herself found it alluring.
But still to use magic so openly. She watched as the cars
follow him at low speeds. Then, as she expected some official
looking people come to try to enforce on the Phoenix. They
probably didn't know they would be slaughtered. She was sure of
it. Now the question was if she was to get involved. The fox
seemed to read her thoughts and began to whine. Warning her
against using magic. She sighed. She would get involved if she
had to, but otherwise would just remain in the distance. This
Phoenix could probably take care of it on his own though. He
looked to be a strong Phoenix, and plus rarity wasn't the only
reason she was awed. These were some really powerful creatures.
And now she stood watching one in action. This alone was a once
in any beings opportunity. Something she couldn't pass up
       seeing.

The pleasantries of this foolish little city, just continued to
stack up like small mounds of shit, that refused to vanish from
the mans sight. Guns were pointed at him now, much more
noticable guns, but they were still just guns. A fluctuation of
energy formed from behind, him and with a side long glance, he
searched for the source. His search was interrupted however.
"You are charged with several reports of disturbing the peace of
our fair city. This will not be tolerated, and thus your
punishment is to be executed wholly by our squad. Will you
       submit Phoenix?"
Varidae chuckled to himseld, and his eyes became a brilliant
fire in that moment. The laughter turned Maniac very quickly and
he faced the swat team down. His hand raised and the air seemed
to thicken forming into several golden birds that screeched as
they shot out like beautiful torrents of fire. Every direction
they went, caused another massive explosion. he hadn't intended
to wreck their city, but the insolence of these flies was
       already getting under his skin.
The Progen soldiers let fire, and the hail rain was different
than what he expected. large piercing needles fired from the
guns, something he guessed was nothing he wanted to touch him.
Fire blazed from around him and caught the needles, but the
approach was nothing he liked. He could feel his very essence
nearly being drained as he crippled and fell to his knees,
staring up at the bastard Progen. Had they really come so far in
their technology to subdue a Phoenix Lord!
Varidae looked back, to see about the power source he'd
recognized before. he could hardly see as his vision was
starting to get blurry, he had made a dire mistake by letting
his life fire touch those needles. So in a final bit of hope he
called out to the power that he could not see. "You have powers
as well! use them, stop this and I will owe you a favor. I
always repay my debts." he cringed as he shrunk down, and one of
the Progen revealed a new gun placing it at his head.
       Final Judgement~ Execution.

She could feel her pulse quicken when charged him and ordered
his death. That was odd. She only felt that way when she was on
the job. She felt her hand twitch. She wanted to intervene, but
couldn't. She watched as they opened fire, needles flying past
him. What was in those? It didn't look too friendly whatever it
was. And they knew he was a Phoenix. So odds were, that
whatever was in those needles would hurt him. But his fire
seemed to be helping, but it was fading. Her hand twitched again
and the fox whined at her. Scratching lightly at her leg. "Shut
       up."
His eyes caught hers and she knew she was busted. He could see
her magic. She had used too much so her essence was showing. She
sighed. "You have powers as well! use them, stop this and I will
owe you a favor. I always repay my debts." She heard him call to
her before a gun was raised to his head.
She had to choose now. She could help, but it would use a lot of
magic, it would probably practically send out a beacon as to
where she was. But she could escape in time. Time was one thing
the Phoenix didn't have right now. She looked down at the fox,
which bowed its head. Knowing she had made her decision and
couldn't do anything about it. She teleported beside the Phoenix
and the man holding the gun to his head, she reached up and
snapped his neck as if it were a twig between her fingers. "I
can't do this on my own Phoenix, I should be on my way, consider
yourself lucky." She wanted to kill anyway after being shoved to
       the ground.
She turned and kicked down a pole. Which landed on a couple of
the Progens. She caught sight of the gun in his hand and picked
it up. Instead of using the pole as a weapon she could use this.
What did it do? She held it up and pointed it at the Progens,
who seemed to gasp when she pointed it at them. They were afraid
of it. She grinned, this could be really helpful. "You don't
like this huh? Don't like it? Maybe you should back the fuck off
then! I'll use my powers to kill you then start taking out
civilians! But first, a little test, I want to know what this
does." She pointed it at the Progen officials and fired it.

A distraction was all that was necessary. Varidae rose from his
spot, the moment the mysterious woman made her presence known.
he looked onward at the cowering Progen and did not hesistate to
cast her burning gaze in one of their direction as flesh bone,
metal and armor immolated after a single glance. He was no
longer bemused at all by this fiasco. he looked over the the
woman next to him, she had already made her stand point, and
then he heard a new gun shot fire. Looking over he watched the
girl hold the execution gun in her hand. She seemed to glance at
him for a moment, and his eyes faded to a deep blue for that one
second, before they returned to Topaz.
The shot hit its target and instantly the Progen vanished. His
body was completely disintegrated. That would have been him, if
the woman had not come when she did, and Varidae seemed to take
that realization in with a lot of anger.
"So that was to be my fate, for underestimating your foolish
cyborgs?" he chuckled to himself and flicked his wrist out, as
another Progen was instantly obliterated, this time, the inferno
that came forth was black, and part of his fiery hair turned
black in that moment. Ravenous black wings forming from behind
him as if they melded from the sunlight above itself. The street
became an inferno immediately after and the remaining Progen
that stood, were nothing but ash.. unstable splatters of nothing
on the pavement. Varidae turned to face his savior, and the
black wings faded.. topaz returning to his burning aura.
"You have helped me miss. " He moved to take her hand, not one
for permissions. he slipped his lips there for a moment and a
slight hiss of his breath caused a painless burn to form at the
flesh of her hand. Varidae explained. "My debt is unpaid, and as
such that mark will remain. speak it to the wind, your request
will be heard, and shall be done." he then stepped back and
finally took a true look at his savior.
She was slim, built like a shit brick house in what he
considered regarding beauty. Supple and plump in every place she
needed to be. He appreciated the way she dressed, bringing him
much closer to home than he had felt since arriving in this
damned city. The wild look about her, that made her almost
majestic under the make shift light of the city. She was truly a
prize, not bad to owe a debt to at all.
The moment wouldn't last however, more of the Progen Soldiers
were making their way towards them, and the sirens had gone off
throughout the city. Varidae could sense incoming porjectiles,a
nd taking her hand, and blazing himself a distance away he
wanted as Sniper bullets devoured the earth and caused for a
small atomic implosion. They weren't messing around anymore. "I
have seen enough of sight seeing for the time, how about you?"
he questioned still holding her hand, as his coat bellowed
around them. "lets go to quieter frontiers shall we, unless of
course your desire is for me to make this city a grave." he
smirked, but before she could fully answer fire consumed them
and they reappeared far above the city atop one of the largest
       of the sky scrapers.
Varidae set her down and stepped off to look down at the
carnage. Lights everywhere, the Progen were assembling a mini
unit to intercept them, and no doubt they knew they were still
in the city. These bastards had far too many precautions to miss
a detail like that. "Well then miss, i believe introductions are
still in order.. after all it would be a damn shame to continue
to our deaths without having said each others names at least
once. I am Varidae Reign, Son to Hemistel of the Spire. Prince
of Phoenix kind, and 18th reborn.. but titles are boring, so
lets stick with the first name."

When the gun fired Dysis could only stare. The man completely
vanished. She was flabbergasted. Did that really just happen?
This had potential. but before she could fire it again the
Phoenix took action. She had to admire the way he moved, how he
worked. If she weren't in hiding they could make quite a team.
The chaos. The devastation. It was a beautiful image. But that
was neither here nor there. She was only helping him out. While
the thought of watching a Phoenix die, the creature was far too
rare and magnificent to let his life be extinguished by a
       mortal. Such pathetic creatures.
The irony. She envied the pathetic creatures. And their freedom.
What made them so special? She had remained locked away her
whole life, only able to come out for a job. They could make all
their own decisions, and she had to obey every rule with out
question. Mortals were filth and yet, they seemed to be the
favorite of some mystical figure for some reason and she didn't
like it one bit. She would gain her own freedom. Even if she had
to kill millions of mortals to get it.
And this gun would help her. She watched as the magnificent
Phoenix finished working. She knew it wouldn't belong before
more Progen officers came. But for now, she tucked the gun into
her belt. Then turned to face him as he looked at her. She had
no problem looking back. He was quite handsome. He then spoke
and took her hand. She thought at first he was going to kiss
it, but remembered a story. About the mark of a Phoenix. So rare
a mark to have. It looked like a burn, but tickled like warm
breath on her skin. She couldn't help but smile and enjoy the
       warmth of it.
But she was well aware that the moment would not last as long as
she would like to have allowed. Her fox nipped at her leg to
remind her that there were more officers approaching. She
reached down and patted the creature, nodding it didn't think
she was ignoring it. The Phoenix confirmed and then said to come
with him. To a better place for them to speak. She would have
agreed, but he didn't wait for it. He took her away from there,
the growing number of Progen officers. Soon she found herself on
a rooftop of a skyscraper, high above the progens, where they
       would never find them.
When he introduced himself, and went all formal about it. She
almost had a little anxiety, thinking she would have to be just
as formal. But that was not the case. He told her his first name
again and said to call that. Still she would have to give him
more than just Dysis. And he would want to know what she was.
"My name is Dysis, Kaya Gallio. Nothing fancy about that. I'm
just an er- I'm a fury." She didn't want to give him too much
information about what she was. Or who she was. Her sister would
       not find her.

The words seemed to sing in the air while the young Phoenix
listened the name of a lady. "I actually like that quite a bit,
I suppose it won't be a horrible thing at all for you to be my
temporary master." Of course he was referring to promise of his
indebted favor, but he didn't think it the best to continuously
prod her of the matter. Varidae settled against the enclave wall
atop the building and set on his rump laying his head back he
sighed. " We are in one hell of a situation then Lady Fury,
though I have to say this will have been the first time I
actually have met a Fury, and beautiful to boot!" He winked at
her from his distance, and then peered down at the forming troop
below. The siren let him know just how serious the Progen were
getting. "they aren't planning to let us get off easy are they
miss Dysis." His look carried some concern, but more so a subtle
hint of amusement that twinkled in his topaz eyes. "They have
really become a threat in my 6 months away from this place...
but alas.." he shook his head laughing to himself. "Tell me a
bit of your tale.. what exactly brought you to a city like this,
I don't exactly picture it as a place a fury would frequent."

What the hell did he mean temporary master. Did Phoenixes have
masters? He moved on from the subject and didn't explain what he
meant though. He went on to tell her that she was the first fury
he had met, and that she was beautiful. She clenched her teeth
together. Some peope thought that furies were ugly creatures.
Because they marked their body up with strange and unusual
lines. Nobody truly understood the art work they made they're
bodies into. She required a vessel, just to be in this world.
But she didn't correct him. This was her body now. The human
that did inhabit the body died out already. It was a pity that a
life had to be sacrificed so she could walk among humans.
She walked over to the edge where he looked down and had told
her they were not going to let them off easy. And she had to
agree. This was going to be difficult. But they were only
mortals after all. Then he asked something that made her hit the
ground. A bit of her past. She sighed and sat next to him, her
fingers moving over the burn mark. "Well, I'm not from here.
Furies don't get t travel much. I just got here today. I don't
know anything of this city. I know one thing though. i think
it's time to get the hell out of here."
With that a sound came from the door. leading into the building.
She jumped up and withdrew the gun, ready to kill whoever was on
the other side of the door. But then the sound came again, and
she realized it was scratching. she walked over and cracked the
door just a little an stood with the gun drawn ready to shoot.
Till an all too familiar white head stuck out from behind the
door. Her little foxy friend. She smiled and put the gun away
       and petted her.
