Asader Clan History
By: Kayis Date: December 6, 2014, 11:27 pm
---------------------------------------------------------
Where my Story will be starting:
The entire world was upon the brink of absolute destruction. 13
monstrous devils appeared from nowhere and raged upon their
word, their powers akin to that of Gods. Waves turned to massive
tsunami, the earth cracked open to reveal its core deep below.
Some said the sky itself was constantly falling around the
demons.
When all seemed lost, the Heroes of old rose up. One from each
of the seven founding races of this world. They were the Seven
Saints of Airidiun. The heroes and the monster clashed, and the
word swooned with their power, but in the day to come all that
remained was the world. The heroes great saccrifice would
forever come to be known in history as The Closing. Stories
would be passed down to Kid for ages to come, and the world fell
into a state of peace. Some children would not have these
stories however...
Deep in a vast desert there was a family whom now had no parents
to tell them stories of bravery. The Asader family, the sons and
daughters of one of the most known Heroes to ever exist. There
were two Older sons, Then of course on older sister. And a young
girl and boy as well, they were all much too young at the time
of the closing to take up their position. So it was, the Best
friend to Saccuro Arias Rauvghan Asader took up the place as
stand in king, until the two eldest sons would come of age. With
him was left Saccuro's will for the Kingdom.
Many times pass in the great Airidiun, and with them the
children grow, into fierce warriors. The Asader trade being that
of combat by blade, they are a more than slightly barbaric clan
of people. Hardned by the harsh conditions of their homeland and
the constant strife of raiders attempting to invade. In worst
cases... the Sister Clan to the Asaders still send stragglers of
their broken clan. A sad rivalry born from much greed and an un-
explainable hatred. The Asader Kingdom is only barely prospering
at this point.
The Story will begin with Saccuro's will being passed down. With
three of the children coming of Age almost nearly at the same
time. Arias approached The Middle of the two Kayis, and tells
him of his Fathers wishes that his son take up the throne on his
17th name day. Kayis is of course skeptical at first, but Arias
assures him further. It can not be a his sister... For she will
be Queen. The bloodline kept pure in their union... Even though
Since her days so long ago, she had been groomed and prepared
for Kayis Eldest brother. Kayis couldn't help but ask why not
him.
"This clan is a clan of conquerors, warriors and artisans, but
we hold dear to our culture, our spirits and the bonded weapons
that run this life journey with us always. Your brother will not
allow those traditions, he is a man that thinks himself above
all who oppose him, and rightfully so. He has never lost a
battle Kayis, where you have. You have known defeat, and
modesty. Your father has always known you to be a gentle boy and
a wise man when you get older, though I can only guess at how
thick you might be." Arias chuckled and placed his hand on the
boys shoulder. "This is your fathers dying wish. He knows you
will be right for this family." The warriors face turned solemn
though as he hand left Kayis shoulder and he stared at the
ground below. "It will not be easy though Kayis... Your brother
will not take this news kindly at all."
The conversation faded, but Arias never could have guessed at
that time, how right he was. The eldest had over heard things, a
serpent in the shadows listened and spiders crawled up the ears
of Kayis eldest brother whispering rumors of treachery and the
usurping of what was his... Songs of their sister, and how she
would not be his... and something in him changed that day.
Only days after Kayis was out upon his normal runs, the Kingdom
was quiet, and despite Arias wish for him to just jump in and
take everything, he still had his doubts. Having just downed a
mighty worm drake with his bare hands, he rest against a tree at
an oasis west of the Kingdom. his rest was swiftly disturbed
however when three shadows blocked the sun from his view. kayis
on instinct felt for the hilt of his weapon. He had also not
found his bond yet, which made everything all the more
confusing.
'Can i help you?" he questioned starting to get to his feet, but
when he looked up, he could only draw fast enough to deflect a
blade that was arced up in an attempt to cut him clean in two.
Kayis strafed to the side and the other two assailants joined
the mix. he could only barely make out the golden eyes behind
the veils that the killers wore. Common Asader garb present for
them. What the hell was going on?
Then he heard it, the chime of the great bell from the kingdom
could be heard, and with it the distant scream of a woman. Kayis
grit his teeth, his adrenaline rushing at this point he began a
dance with the fools that threatened him, and with the grace of
a thousand men, he killed all of them. Covered in blood and cuts
Kayis dashed full boar back to the kingdom, and didn't stop at
the gate. He leapt and scaled the wall as he'd done so many
times before, but when he reached the top of the wall, he could
see it.
At the center courtyard, below the Kingdoms main balcony, he
could see them. Kayis eldest sister, was chained to the statue
of the Asader crest. Bloody, naked, she was pierced in ways
Kayis had never known, painful ways and his Eldest brother
hovered over her like a hawk stalking its prey. Kayis would
never forget what came next. for as long as he lived.
His Eldest brother sunk his blade so deep into his sister, her
moans and cries of pain could have drowned out anything else
going on at that moment. Crimson fell from her like a waterfall,
and Kayis brother looked up in time to meet Kayis gaze evenly, a
cocky smile planted on his face. Kayis leapt from the wall into
the crowd, only to be nearly intercepted by two glaive wielding
Asader guardsmen, which he dismembered as fast as they came. He
made his way to the center where his brother stood.
Kayis shouted drawing his own curved weapon as he passed through
the barrier of people. "What are you doing brother!?" Only
silence reminded him, that the brother he knew was gone, and
Kayis engaged him. Their blades met evenly at first, but not for
long. Kayis brother was powerful beyond words and he already had
his bonded weapon. Kayis was overwhelmed quickly and tired
easily. "This... would have been our kind?" Kayis brother
questioned, almost shouting it to the rest of them. "You thought
that you could conspire against my claim to the throne? You my
brother, and Arias our most trusted friend?" There was a madness
about his voice, a sinister evil. "No, no brother. There will be
no mercy for those that think they can take what is rightfully
mine. Not even for you."
The blade came down swiftly. An executioners weapon that would
end his life there. Kayis closed his eyes. he submitted to his
death, but before he could feel the cold bite of Asader steel,
the loud clamor of steel on steel was heard. Kayis looked up in
time to see Arias own mighty spear intercept his brother's
weapon, he looked to Kayis with the concern of a father in his
eyes. "Go!" He finally shouted and deflected their assailant
backwards.
Kayis scrambled to his feet. He didn't want to leave Arias
behind, but there was nothing he could do here. He was weak. The
fight echoed in his ears as he ran, and dashed between those
that would try and stop him. The great kingdom was a playground
he knew better than almost anyone, and so it was easy enough to
avoid them through execution of parkour. Only when he was far
enough away did he take a moment to rest and catch himself. A
crumpled up piece of paper sticking from his sash, he unraveled
it and found a note from Arias.
"I knew would wouldn't listen, so did Saccuro, and your mother
but that is why we believed in you. The grave of your father is
where your fate lies Kayis. Go there and collect the sword of a
true king. it will never be what your bonded weapon might be to
you, but it is the gift from a father to a son, and I have to
guess that some pretty strong power still remains in a bond like
that. See you later Kayis.."
Arias~
Kayis listened this time, but when he returned with his birth
right, it was already far too late. A massacre remained. Kayis
knew nothing of his siblings. The Kingdom was torn asunder, and
blood painted its walls, and the sand below. Corpses in
mountains remained, and most were too mangled for him to ever
recognize. Kayis sunk to the ground and swore his vengeance
cursing the sky above, and the sands below for his weakness, he
wept against the cross shaped sword. His tears soaked the sand
below and he stayed there for a while.
"I swear by everything that before my blade joins the others in
the graveyard, by this blade of Kings I will die by no one who
is weaker than me. If i am to die it will be to the strongest
blade alive. I swear it by my bloodline. and the sword of my
father!"
Some where , something heard Kayis plea. it was interpreted in a
different way and a faceless angel came upon Kayis as they sunk
their ethereal blades deep within him, but when it was done, no
blood poured from his body. His skin was hardened, and the sand
stirred around him creating small pillars. Power surged through
his body, and his vow was made real. The Angel faded and Kayis
stood up resurrected into something different now. He left the
kingdom and began his search.
