[font=trebuchet ms]Imperfect knew that the moment she made sure
her lover knew of her destination, just as he always would, that
he would be there before she. It didn’t take her long but
between the heavy lift and fall of her dark wings and the tears
blurring her vision, she found it somewhat hard to breathe. The
air around her was suffocating her and all she needed was some
comfort from the coldness her son had so generously offered.
Calyx was her world, he was the soul reason she stayed strong on
her weakest days, she made sure he was always safe, always so
overprotective of her only child. One would surely understand
and empathise with her sadness and slowly brewing anger. He had
so easily dismissed her.
As the memories all rush back to her, she finds her way to
Katsu, who is patiently waiting, a hand on her mouth as she
stifles her sobs, before rushing into his arms after a halt.
“Oh Katsu. . . “
She was free now to let her tears fall knowing her lover would
give her what she needed. How he had stuck around knowing about
her past the woman still couldn’t grip; he was strong and
protective of her, shown her how to love again. He didn’t take a
fast approach to things, didn’t scare Imperfect away and for
this, she was forever grateful.
Her fingers find there way to his soft wings, brushing them
through his feathers; she found comfort in them.

He had been pacing back and forth, his bare feet slowly moving
along the snow covered ground, each step back and forth waiting
on her arrival. His white cloak had been ditched curled around
one of the trees that lay there. He had always been asked ever
since him and imperfect had gotten together, why he never chased
her. Why he never tried to catch her to bring her back to where
she left? He never gave them a straight answer merely a smile as
he faded, but to himself he knew the answer, you never chase a
woman especially in pain, when she was ready she would come fall
into your arms. He finally took a seat upon one of the many
downed trees here just as Imperfect landed right upon the ground
and fell into his arms which curled around her waist as her head
fell to his shoulder and her tears flowed out. He let her just
sit there with him, he never said anything for there was nothing
he needed to say she understood everything in his arms.
He ran one hand softly through those locks of her hair,
listening as the tears flowed through her and over his bare
chest. Her hand rising and flowing over his wings, for some
reason it always calmed her to run her fingers through his white
feathers. When she said his name, he cracked the smallest of
smiles and looked down at her, his fingers still lightly combing
through the locks of her hair. "Yes hon, let it out, I shall be
here to listen, to comfort"

[font=trebuchet ms]Imperfect was fully aware the man hated when
anyone touched his wings, she remembered the first time she had
tried to do so; his heavy breathing, the way his chest had moved
up and down was his silent clichéd cry but he hadn’t stopped
her; it was then she knew and truly believed she held a special
place in his heart, a place she was always worried someone else
would take.
As she’s enveloped within his warm arms, she curls up against
his chest, letting her strong demeanour shatter but feeling safe
and comfortable enough to do so, something she rarely did in
front of anyone, an indication to how much their love had grown.
Her eyes are finally dried and with a tilt of her head she lets
her hazel gaze fall upon her lover, sighing softly, before
sniffing and wiping her nose.
“I’m sorry. . . “ She wasn’t apologising for crying because he
never failed to remind her that he was not only her lover but
her source of comfort, the man to pick her up when she fell
down, that if he didn’t experience her at her worst, he didn’t
deserve her at her best. She was apologising for the fact today
was meant to be a day where he met everyone, got acquainted, a
lovely, joyous day, not one filled with drama.
She shudders, her arms tightening more so around the mans neck
as she does so, before smiling softly, sniffing in his scent,
that beautiful scent that always grounded her, always made her
so grateful for everything she had gone through because it had
all bought her to him.
“Can we go home first?”
It was a mere whisper and as she says it, she closes her eyes,
waiting.

Each stroke of her fingers through the white feathers calmed
her, so he didn't mind at all, even though normally anybody that
touched his wings would have died on the spot. Her fingers
stroking them, was good for the both of them relaxing them both
together. It didn't matter what was next or when it came he knew
that she knew, that he would always be there right at her side.
More time passed between them before she looked up her deep
green eyes meeting his own pearly white ones...now he wasn't a
man of many words but even he knew she was going to say
something remotely close to the words he never wanted to hear
from her..I am sorry....so he lowered his head down and before
the words could even leave those beautiful lips of hers his was
pressed deeply to them. He didn't need to say anything, the kiss
said enough even though it was to cut off her sentence, he broke
the kiss only a moment later still looking her eye to eye his
hand raising to curl through her dark black locks of hair.
"I don't wanna ever hear you say those words for no reason,
don't apologize to me for anything my love. There is no reason
for it...today all I saw was a mother that was devastated by her
son's choice of words.."
Then just like that a whisper left her lips telling him that she
wanted to go home...to the manor where they stayed. He stroked
her hair for only a little longer enjoying the warmth of her
there in his arms, but even that had to come to an end. Home
they were bound, he lifted her into his arms, one curling
beneath her legs and the other in the middle of her back. He
shifted his body to a standing position his eyes on her, he
flapped his wings once, then twice spitting snow into the air
leaving behind a white mist as the area around them changed.
They had gone from the spot...their secluded spot to now their
beautiful manor, where all of their things were and today was no
different. They had appeared inside of their room where the
curtains for their bed lie hainging aroud the bed a deep black
color, he looked down at her with the smallest of smiles setting
her upon the bed.
"We are home love"

[font=trebuchet ms]The kiss was just foreshadowing for what he
had to offer later, in the confines of their home. She had grown
to love the man so that a single day without him was like
torture; the mere thought of anything happening to him crushed
her entirely. As his lips leave hers, she tastes the absence,
bitter-sweet, and lets her fingers glide along her lower lip
before wrapping both arms around his neck, his wings strong
enough for the both of them, like always, whenever she was this
exhausted, mentally and physically.
As they soar through the sky it doesn’t take them long to get
home, their mansion located between tall, dark mountains; there
was nothing more Imperfect loved than her privacy when it came
to her love life, she wanted everyone to know Katsu was hers and
hers alone, but their business was no one else’s to worry about.
His words register in her mind “today all I saw was a mother
that was devastated by her son's choice of words,” as they land,
and her heart is with Calyx, her mind wondering what he’s doing,
how angry he is, temper was something that ran in this family,
that was for sure.
Lost amidst her thoughts she isn’t aware she’s on the bed until
he actually mentions they’re home, blinking twice before looking
around at the familiar surroundings.
The bedroom was grand, the furniture dark, contrasting against
the off-white walls, not too harsh. Now, the moon was slowly
beginning to take over the sun, the skies were darker, the
lights on the ceiling giving the woman an even more prominent
glow, enough to distract the man before her, enough to captivate
him. The muscles in her leg tense as she comes to stand, her
fingers tightly coiled around the straps of her dress, pulling
them down her shoulders, slowly down her chest too before
letting it drop to the floor around her legs. She steps over the
bundled pool of black, now just in her heels and underwear, the
corset accentuating her breast, the dark colours complementary
against her golden skin.
Her gaze hadn’t met his until she was finished, now the green
orbs flicking toward him, watching him, waiting.

She seemed lost in thought even as they landed in the bedroom,
probably thinking back to the party and everything that had
happened the night. His bare feet landed softly upon the marble
floor and she was laid softly upon the satin sheets. He took a
step from the bed and towards the windows even as his wings
faded drawing back into his body. He watched as the clouds moved
revealing the white twinkling of the stars as they made their
appearance from beneath their covering...the moon covering the
light of the sun casting the entirety of the room in a slick
darkness all except for the bed, which the moon seemed to cast a
white light over almost as if a spot light for the two of them
signifying what was to take place there in a few moments. His
eyes ran from the window along the ground to the most beautiful
sight he will ever see.
There she stood, the white light cast almost perfectly along the
frame of her body casting her in a brillant white glow. Each
curve of her body was only emphasized by the white light, for
only a swift moment she was no longer an angel to him, she was a
perfect goddess. He stepped forward so that their bodies were
only inches apart, he looked her face to face his white eyes
meeting her deep green ones, his right hand raising to rest on
her cheek his thumb stroking along her ivory skin. He was
silent, he didnt need to say anything his movements said it all
the way he carried his body. He curled his left arm around her
waist and pulled her to him pressing his lips deeply to her own,
each emotion of love placed into that one kiss as he guided her
to the bed. He shifted his hands in the direction of the satin
curtain and it covered the bed hiding them from the view of the
prying eyes.
The light of the sun peeked in through the satin red curtains,
casting the room in the light of the morning. His eyes slowly
fluttered open the light baring down into his eyes, he only gave
a light smile fluttering his wings that seemed to have shown
themselves sometime during the night. The white of his feathers
covered the bed, each feather strewn out to cover the both of
their bodies in what seemed to be like a cover. His left arm was
curled around her waist, and her head was upon his chest her
hair wildly laying across his skin. The night had been perfect
in every way, their alone time as always was for them, he loved
her with everything he had and he enjoyed every moment that was
just for them, every moment that he had her there in his arms.
He would have to speak to Calayx soon about his mother, he would
only ask for her hand in marriage if her son approved of it
until then he would wait.

[font=trebuchet ms]One look she had given and that’s what it had
taken for him to sweep her into his arms and onto the bed, where
they took out their frustrations for the night, and delved into
a world of their own, a world where only perfect harmonies of
their lovemaking was existent, a world where she was drowning in
his love, in his beautiful touch, in his heavenly fragrance; a
world where she felt flawless.
The morning after her naked, olive body was covered with his
snow-like wings, sprawled out atop of her lover, her eyes
closed, thick lashes resting against the tops on her cheeks, her
dark hair spread along his chest in various directions, only
listening to his beating heart and the disturbance in it as he
awakes. Every morning, as if the sun was jealous of the two
lovers, it found its way into their room, announcing with
unspoken words that they would have to eventually get up, that
they couldn’t stay in bed all day long.
With a soft sigh, her eyes flutter open, and she squints at the
windows, yawning and stretching her arms over her head before
she looks over at the man next to her, the sight enough to make
her smile that breath-taking smile, purring delicately at last
nights occurrences.
“Morning you. . . “
She whispers, trailing tender kisses over his chest, to his
neck, past his jaw, finally letting her luscious full lips come
to meet his in an affectionate, long kiss, letting it take her
breath away completely; he was like that drug she craved, the
very essence of her being calling out for more, when she was
being given everything. She couldn’t get enough of this angel
and she knew she never would.
Imperfect would have chosen to stay in bed all day had it not
been for the fact that yesterday everything had been left
unsolved, broken, and that needed to be fixed for her peace of
mind; she needed to know that her son wasn’t angry and that
above all, he accepted, whole-heartedly, her relationship with
this man beneath her, holding her, so fervently but yet so
caringly. Katsu treated her as if se was made out of glass, like
she would break any moment; they were made for each other, it
seemed.
The women lets her mind drift for no more than a minute before
looking once more, into the eyes of the owner of her heart,
before uncurling herself from him, pulling her legs over the
bed, walking, rather teasingly to the wardrobe, swaying her hips
side to side, before drawing a black silk gown and pulling it
over her naked body, letting it fall effortlessly over her
curves. With a brush of her fingers through her messy bed-hair
she nods to Katsu, moving to the door now.
“Be down in 15.”
Winking playfully and blowing a kiss she makes her way out of
the room and down the stairs, looking at the hallway before her
and the large chandelier that hung from the magnificently high
ceiling, retreating into the kitchen. The cabinets were all
dark, just like every other piece of furniture, all clean. Their
maid Persephone stood and Imperfect greets her with a warm
smile, watching the cheeky look that’s given to her before going
to sit at the dining table, picking a seedless olive, placing it
in her mouth.
“Had fun, did you?”
The maid and Imperfect knew each other long before and had
become dear friends so as the words leave her mouth she can’t
help but laugh and shake her head, chewing on the olive, picking
up a paper, skimming through, just waiting for her lover to come
and join her.

He watched his love walk to the closet, each step carrying her
across that marble floor, she stopped at the closet and wrapped
herself in that black silk gown he liked and then noted that she
would see him downstairs in fifteen. Then like a sweet dream she
was gone, out the door and traversing along the long hallway. He
allowed his eyes to slip shut at that moment taking in the
savory moment of the life before him, how could he get so lucky
to have such a wonderful beauty before him to be his lover, his
friend and everything he wanted most in life. Finally he rose
from the bed and he figured he mine-as-well meet her downstairs,
but first he would have to get ready for the day. His feet
carried him across the hall to the beautiful bathroom they had
big enough for a party to take place in the bathroom alone. This
day would start of good and end better, he had more things he
had to do but today was hers.
He stepped into the shower and cut the water on, his wings
fading even before the droplets could touch them, his eyes
slipping closed beneath the warm water. Each delicate drop
running along his naked body, the shower didn't take long before
he himself stepped out and got dressed wrapping himself in his
normal attire though this time he didn't even waist time putting
on a shirt. His feet swiftly carried him along the hallway after
that, baring no sound with each step, thoughts ran through his
mind but all came to rest on her. One more step, and he was gone
from the top of the stairs, one white feather slipping slowly to
the ground was all that was left when he appeared behind
Imperfect, his love downstairs. His hands curled over her eyes
covering them from viewing the newspaper that she held in her
hand, he leaned down and whispered close to her ears.
"Guess who?"
The words were teasing, they were light but when she went to
answer it was interrupted by his lips pressed to hers sweetly,
and softly. When he broke the kiss, his eyes shifted towards the
maid with a warming smile, she had been here since he had
started dating his darling. The made was a very good friend of
Imperfects and being as such Katsu has never once made her do
anything for him. So when she went to get the cup of coffee for
him and Imperfect he intercepted her as he always did. He didn't
say anything but he did take the two cups and bring them to the
table where the two of them were and sat them down. He sat
across from Imperfect at the table and gave her a light smile.
His words were sweet as they begun to slip from his lips.
"What are we gonna do today love? Seeing as neither of us have
anything planned, or are we just gonna stay in today? Just me
and you and of course the....lamp"
He nodded playfully at the lamp in the dining room with a
chuckle noting that he was talking about it. Of course though he
was just messing with her and the maid. The maid had that
crosshair on her forehead and it only enticed a chuckle from his
lips, before he turned back to his love with a smile awaiting
her answer.
