Aoife let out a quiet chuckle, her hazel eyes twinkling with
laughter. His response was so unexpected though she could only
nod her head in agreement. “Bacon is amazing.” She said in
concurrence, remaining silent as Stefan ordered their pizza and
paid the clerk at the counter. “We shall.” Linking her arm with
his, Aoife led them both to the booth, sliding in far enough
should he want to sit next to her rather than across from her.
Once they were both settled in she turned her sparkling hazel
eyes on the man, head tilted to the side out of curiosity. “So
is that accent real, or do you use it to get all the ladies?” It
would be a lie to say she didn’t found it endearing and somewhat
attractive, though she hoped he wasn’t keen enough to read
through the lines and figure that out for himself; she would be
so embarrassed.

Stefan took a seat next to her. She had opened the space up, so
why should he not join her on the same side. The could both
enjoy the upholstery on the other side together. He was still
pondering her linkage of arms with him as she spoke up once more
about his accent. He looked at her, leaned away and placed his
right hand over his heart as if struck. "Aye, I would never!"
Once again tapping into that little piece of southern bell,
maybe medieval lady, that everyone hid inside of themselves. He
reposed himself, his left hand striking gently against his
forehead as he spoke the words, his neck tilting back as his
eyes shut. He shook his head as if waving long golden locks that
weren't there. And as quick as he entered this, he was back to
normal and looking at her with a large grin. "T'is real." He
strolled his tongue around his mouth a bit and then began to
speak again, taking on what most would call the 'American
Accent.' "I can speak regular like, but it takes some effort."
He smirked and watched her reaction, keeping in mind how cute
she looked when she was curiously cocking her head at him. "But.
I like me acc'nt, so I try not teh lose it." He chuckled to
himself a moment. "N' yes, It does pull a good amo'nt of wemen
in my direct'on." He once more brushed his hair with his fingers
and took a second. "What a'boot you? You seem t'e be missin'
one."

For any actor or actress, it was easy to fall into a
role. On the drop of a dime Stefan became a golden-haired
maiden, and Aoife became amused. Soft chuckles dripped from her
lips like honey; slow at first until it reached its climax, then
dying off into a gentle hum. The woman nodded her head, sending
a few stray hairs into her face which she tucked away with a
gentle hand. “The accent.. suits you - you sound weird without
it.” A gentle smile was directed towards him, white teeth
peeking out for a brief moment before they clasped onto her pale
pink bottom lip in thought. “I came over here when I was young.
Kids made fun of me because I spoke differently, so I was
enrolled in speech classes to get rid of it.” Hazel eyes looked
away from Stefan’s, setting on a man with a tray in his hands
and two slices of pizza on that tray. “It looks really good.”
She said, nodding her head towards the food; her stomach growled
as the scent of the sweet, majestic bacon hit her nose.
Goodness, she was hungry.

Stefen gave a light chuckle that could have passed unnoticed. He
simply kept quiet with a smile on his face as he listened to her
musical laugh. He couldn't help but tilt his own head at her.
His gentle eyes watching til the laughter died down and with
another soft chuckle of his own"Glad ya like it." He reached out
and tapped her nose gently with his index finger, giving a wink
before she turned and reveled her own story of why she had lost
her own funny sounding words. "Well. Small'r chitlins can be
vicious." He folded his hands, landing his elbows firmly on the
table before leaning his ear against the closed double fist. He
kept his gaze in her direction and shook his head. "Evil lil'
t'ings. Den in hi'h school. t'eh kid wit the acc'nt terns oot to
be the cooler one." He turned her head just as the server had
reached them and quickly removed his elbows from the table. The
man set the plates, paper of course, down in front of them,
nodded, and then began his walk back to the counter. "T'anks
Mate" was all Stefan could utter before the server seemingly
disappeared again. "I must agree. Looks excellent." Stefan
waited a moment before lifting the slice, folding the crust with
his index finger, and munching a decent chunk from the slice.
"Aye, ya." He said between chewing and then swallowing. "T'is
pretty good."

The beginnings of a blush dotted her cheekbones at
his gesture, eyes crossing to see her nose in a playful manner
before she straightened out and looked to him with a gentle
smile. A shrug rolled off her shoulders and she wrinkled her
nose. “Even with an accent I don’t think I could be cool. I’m
too… average.” Which she was. Brown hair, drab, thick, and
unruly. Skin lightly tanned. Body straight and slightly toned.
She didn’t have the curves girls killed for, the shining hair,
the soft, suntanned skin. Aoife was extremely ordinary, and
because of that she saw nothing extraordinary about herself.
“Thank you!” She called out quickly to the
server after Stefan, though the two received not a reply from
the man. “Mmm. It does.” Her hands delicately picked up the
slice of pizza, and she was just about to take a bite out of it
when she glanced over at her companion; watching as he folded
the crust with an easy motion and took a bite out of it. With a
playful twinkle entering her eyes Aoife copied him - or at least
attempted to. His folding the crust with a finger took far more
effort on her end because her hands were so small, and when she
took a bite she accidentally smeared pizza sauce on the corner
of her mouth and cheek - which went unnoticed by the woman as
she eagerly chewed the pizza and swallowed. “I didn’t know I was
so hungry..”

He was mid bite when started processing his statement. His
eyebrow raised in curiosity as he looked over out of the corner
of his eye and watched Aoife as she tried to copy his method of
eating pizza. He chewed for a moment and then swallowed the
chunk. He chuckled as she took a bite and caught some of the
sauce with the corner of the mouth. "Well, T'at was pritty
good." He set his piece down for a moment, keeping his folding
hand in place as he pointed to the corner of his lips. "But ya
got sum t'ings right 'ere." Stefan rolled his shoulders to
stretch them for a moment before lifting the slice up once more.
"You 'rnt very ordinary in my eyes." He shrugged his shoulders
and then took another bite, taking a minute to chew the piece.
Stefan thought to himself for a moment on how to follow up the
statement. She beat him, though, making a statement on how
hungry she didn't know she was. He chuckled and looked in her
direction, ingesting his recent bite before nodding. "Good
Pizzah will do t'at to yah." He faced towards the table top and
shook his head a moment before looking back to her. "But, yer
not very ordinary." He nudged her with his shoulder. "Ya dun
like peeple. Ye dun like crowds. Yer a star on a show. I mean,
Normal peeple dun get actin' jobs." He had devoured half his
Pizza before he leaned back into the seats. "You dun need to
'ave n' accn't to be cool. Yer already cool."

Aoife perked up at the praise he gave her; she
couldn’t expect to be perfect every time she tried something
new, even if it was as simple as eating pizza a different way.
Attention and acknowledgement was something humans yearned for -
even Aoife, who avoided crowds and interacting with people in
general. It was reassuring; that way she knew she wasn’t
invisible.
Her soaring spirits and confidence came crumbling
down the second he mentioned having something on her face. Aoife
immediately turned her back to him and snatched up a napkin to
wipe the cheek he indicated to. Sure enough the white napkin was
stained red with pizza sauce. With a face no longer tainted by
pizza sauce Aoife turned back around in her seat. Eye contact
suddenly became difficult and her cheeks and ears were on fire
with a flush of embarrassment. It was a good thing he sat beside
her and not across the table from her, which would’ve made
awkward eye contact inevitable. Instead her ordinary hazel eyes
swept through the little parlor. Aoife and Stefan were probably
the youngest people there save for the young server who gave
them their food. The building was basically a shack; small,
empty, and intimate. There weren’t many people, but the ones who
were paid no mind to the two stars sat at the booth. It was
refreshing.
Much against her will, Aoife’s hazel eyes turned
away from the decor and settled back on Stefan’s - an innate
habit to make eye contact when being spoken to. His nudge sent
her body ricocheting and her head wobbling, but her expression
remained neutral. “But normal people have dreams, and normal
people chase after their dreams, and normal people can
accomplish their dreams if they try hard enough.” The brunette
paused for a brief moment, her eyes falling down to their pizza
- his half gone and hers barely touched - before snapping back
up to his. “It’s normal to want something and its normal to get
it. Liking people and not liking people and being the star of a
tv show doesn’t make me an exception to the rule - or you. Don’t
think that accent makes you cool; it makes you interesting,
mysterious, and maybe a bit desirable.” Before her words could
take on a tone of awkward seriousness, Aoife quickly recovered
the playful and jubilant atmosphere they previously had.
“Take that accent away and you’re just a boring kid
with nothing going for you other than that swishy hairstyle.”
The hazel eyes that adorned her face narrowed in playful
challenge as she took a rather sassy bite out of her pizza,
being sure to not get anything on her face.
|My apologies for the gross spacing.Yuck.|

Stefan had devoured half of his pizza before the woman even
looked back towards him. We was working on eating the crust as
she was letting her eyes wander around the rather empty shack
they inhabited. Stefan had noticed that many of the people
around were much older than them. Most of the young people, he
figured, would be at that thumping place down the street if
anywhere. Clubs... What was the use of places like those? Stefan
shook his head once and began in on his crust.
Then she spoke and Stefan was fine at first. He was taking a
bite and listening contently to her statement as she spoke about
normal people and them being nothing more than normal people.
But when her tone shifted once more to the playful content he
was used to... Well, she almost killed him to be truthful.
Stefan sharply inhaled and a large chunk of crust found its way
down the wrong tube and instantaneously caused the man to start
hacking up a second hurricane Katrina to dislodge the hunk of
crust. Luckily did not take long. Stefan looked at her, despite
any previous statement or concern for his well-being, and stared
at her a moment before blurting out "Ya tink me 'air is
sweeshy?" Shurik looked up to his locks, trying to see them past
the orbital bones. His hand rushed through his hair once more
and furrowed it. "Damn it. N' I told em teh give me t'e John
Travolta, not t'e Christopher Walkin..." His gaze fell back to
her as he smirked and shook his head.
"Define t'e me dat word: normal." The idiom left his lips
dripping with disdain. He drew it out in length, closed his
eyes, and shook his head as he spoke the word, giving her a
small smirk afterwards. Stefan waited a moment and then looked
over towards an older couple eating a few slices themselves.
"See dem? What's normal fer me 'n you is definitely not normal
fer them." Stefan rolled his shoulders back, stretching his arms
slightly as he looked back to her. Glaring playfully over the
last bits of his pizza. "Sweeshy hairstyle." In a moment of
quick thinking, Stefan wiped a small amount of sauce off his
remaining crust and landed an index finger strike against her
cheek, staining it red once more as he then licked his finger
clean and wiped his hands off on his napkin. "En guard," He said
afterwards, laughter now leaving his lips.

The reaction she got out of him wasn’t what she was
going for. Panic seized every morsel of her being when he
started coughing. Hazel eyes widened with concern and she
completely tensed, a blank mind offering up no ideas to help
him. When she could finally think coherently his coughing had
minimized but her concern was still there. A small hand curled
gently around his bicep, offering a soft squeeze. “Are you
okay?” Was the generic response that spilled from her lips in a
hurry, a slight accent tinting the words; however she didn’t
receive a reply to her question.
Aoife laughed; a deep belly-laugh that made her gasp
for air when it passed and brought tears to her eyes. An index
finger rose to wipe the droplets from her face as she caught her
breath. “You could’ve choked to death, but you’re more worried
about your ‘sweeshy’ hair.” She could only roll her eyes as she
fell down from the high laughing gave her. “But to be honest,
the Christopher Walken suits you well.” The words were but a
whisper as they fell from her lips. A hand rose to him,
hesitantly stopping half way as she caught on to what she was
doing. By then it was far too late to talk herself out of it as
just moments later her fingers combed through his hair and
arranged it back to what it was before. It was soft, his hair,
and she bet it smelled good - smelled masculine from that
two-in-one shampoo and conditioner treatment most men used
either because they didn’t care or didn’t know what the point of
conditioner was. It was a nice thought, she decided as she
lowered her hand to her lap, though her thoughts soon drifted to
another head of hair that was just as soft - if not softer - and
several shades darker than Stefan’s.
The thought was wiped out of her head as he asked a
question. Normal? What was normal? She was in the midst of
conjuring up an applicable definition when he pointed to an
older couple eating pizza. “Maybe..” She stated with a small
voice, hazel eyes settling on Stefan’s, picking out appropriate
words to elaborate her opinion. But she was cut off by his
playful glare. “Still stuck on your hair? You--”
Pizza sauce was smeared on her cheek. Aoife looked
at him, lips parting with the signature ‘o’ shape of surprise.
Seconds passed with him laughing and her remaining completely
silent. He made a very bad decision. Without even a sliver of
hesitation Aoife grabbed her half a slice of pizza and smeared
it on his cheek. Once she was sure his face was covered in an
ample amount of pizza sauce she placed the slice on her plate
and looked at him with an equally playful glare.

His eyes widened as he watched, but he could not defend himself
in time to avoid the onslaught of pizza to his face. Instantly
he was covered in sauce and his face was now red under the red
sauce as those around them began to turn around and stare at the
two of them. They whispered and pointed, but Stefan's eyes where
locked into into hers, a low growl lowing from his lips as he
chuckled to himself and then, shook his head.
Stefan's lips curled into a smirk as he kept his eyes locked
with Aofie's, and slowly grew into a smile as he suddenly
reached out and placed his hand on the back of her neck and
tugged her in towards him. He then began rubbing his face all
over hers, sharing the smeared bits of pizza between them as he
used her own attack to now cover her thoroughly in sauce. Now,
with both of them bathed in red, Stefan laughed. He didn't let
her move back from him, but kept her close as he let his fingers
run up through her hair. He locked eyes with her and continued
to play with her hair, smirking. "Your 'air is really soft..."
What a dumb thing to say in that moment. They where so close and
the shared laughter of their pizza attacks seemed to spread
through the small shop. He snickered at himself and then slowly
started backing away from her, his hand still playing with her
hair as he stopped about a foot away from her. "You got a bit
ove red on ya there, Aee-ofee."
