Taking his first step outside in what seemed like a long time,
Stefan stretched his arms and enjoyed the small breeze as it
washed over him. "Well, The can force the fox from his hole..."
Stefan slipped his left hand into his inside coat pocket,
pulling out a sucker and unwrapping it. "But ya can't make him
interact, yeah?" He slid the treat under his tongue and took a
seat in one of the lawn chairs, propping up his feet, resting
his hands behind his head, and taking a break for awhile. Soon
enough, whether he liked it or not, someone would find him.

The outside was nice. The fresh air brought a smile to his face
and as more and more of the good stuff entered his lungs he
began to hum a soft song to himself. Half humming and half
singing the words, Stefan felt his eyes drip closed as he
absorbed the sound of his own voice and the sounds of the great
outdoors. "Hmm hmm hmm hmm On tha rockey road to dublin, one,
tew, tree, fou' five. mmMMMmmm the mmm..." Simple pleasures
bring simple joys to the wandering soul. Before too long, he
felt his feet tapping with his tune and his fingers beginning to
dance on the back of his head. "mmHmmmHmmmmmhmmmmhMMMM"

Hazel eyes widened when their owner stepped outside. Aoife
definitely wasn’t expecting to see someone outside. Was he some
stalker, or a housemate? And if so, did he just arrive? The
woman immediately stopped when the door was shut behind her,
looking at him with curious eyes as he hummed to himself. Would
he even notice her? Maybe, if she was quite enough, he wouldn’t
even sense her presence and she could go on her merry way. Such
thoughts were just that; thoughts. Her first step she caught her
foot on the leg of another chair and stumbled forward in the
most awkward way possible, pushing the chair was a god awful
       ‘screeeech’.
A palm slapped against her forehead as she righted herself, eyes
closing to spare herself the embarrassment of seeing his
       reaction. “Shit…”

Staring. Was someone staring? No. In the seemingly hours he had
been out here not a single soul had even ventured into his path.
But of course someone was watching. There were millions at home
staring at him through a screen every time they flashed to the
outside. Though, from what he had heard, the action was mostly
elsewhere in the house. Stefan could distinguish between the
millions at home and one that might be a little closer than
miles away. Light humming on the wind could give him a hint, but
the loud screeching of the chair behind him now confirmed his
thoughts. Turning, Stefan faced another one of the house
patrons. His only clue to this was that she had just exited the
door. For all he knew she was one of those behind the scenes
people fixing a camera. But she was a lovely part of the camera
crew if she was. A smile played on his lips as he watched her.
"So, te're is life on mars, aye?" He looked at the moved chair
and looked back to her. "Pullin' up a chair to join?" A raised
eyebrow accompanied a friendly smile. "Are you okay after taking
       a chair to the knee?"

“Pulling up a chair, yeah, but not necessarily to join.” She
mumbled beneath her breath, plopping down into the chair she
kicked with a careless shrug. Might as well - she was under
orders to ‘socialize’ anyways. The thought made her brows
furrow, her embarrassment momentarily forgotten in the wake of
her frustration. A hand rose, pushing its fingers through the
       thick brown tresses on her head, moving them out of the way;
despite being focused on other things, Aoife’s cheeks were still
burning from her uncoordinated display. “Sorry if I disturbed
you, I was going to go explore..” The soft words trailed off on
her lips, twinkling hazel eyes flickering to the gate that
separated the house from the rest of the world. It as an open
invitation; she wouldn’t say no if he asked to join her, but
that didn’t mean she would ask him to come if he said nothing.
Her expectations weren’t high and her feelings wouldn’t get hurt
if he chose to say nothing.

Stefan turned his chair to face this newly acquired companion
for the time. This is what the producers wanted, did they not?
For him to interact with another human? Her hushed words
traveled delicately to his ears. Her voice was an amazing thing
to hear after hours, or days; Stefan did not know which, of
listening to his own gruff accent in his head. He leaned forward
and braced his elbows against his knees, folding his hands into
a tight pocket in front of him. "No de'sturbince at all, miss. I
was just relaxin' aft'r I twas kicked frum me room." He was
slightly oblivious to the hidden invitation at first, but soon
caught on when he captured her line of sight shifting to the the
gate of the house. "I wouldn't mind n' adventure." He nodded
directly down her gaze towards the portal to a new world. "Where
       're we 'eadin'?"

Aoife closed her eyes as he spoke, a small smile curling up the
corners of her lips; his voice was almost refreshing, that low
rumble of accent trailing easily through her ears. It reminded
her of home. “Producers got to you, huh?” Hazel eyes would peek
open, shooting him a quick glance before she suddenly got up
from the chair. It was amusing; she could easily picture herself
getting a message from the producers had she stayed in her room
like she wanted. Ironically enough she didn’t get orders from
those in charge, but she got orders from another houseguest.
‘Socialize’. Aoife scoffed, making her way to the gate. “What’s
the point of exploring if we already know where we’re going to
go?” With a raised brow she shot him a quizzical look from over
her shoulder, holding open the gate so he could go first. “I
should probably warn you, there’s a 99.9% chance we’ll get lost
       - are you sure you still want to tag along?” A pause. “I’m
       Aoife, by the way.”

He leaned back, removed his left hand from his right, and
positioned the hand on his hip. He tousled his hair with a shake
of his head and smirked. "I 'ave no idea wat yer talkin' 'bout
miss." He gave her a quick wink to go along with his charming
smile as he watched her uproot herself from the chair with ease
and strolled off towards the gate itself. Stefan followed suit.
He climbed his way out from the plush cushioned seat and trailed
a few paces behind the adventurous one. "No qualms 'ere 'bout
bein' lost, miss." He gesticulated. His hands moved in patterns
as he spoke; and as he passed by through the gate, Stefan gave a
slight bow to the woman. "Well, ah-oif-ee, tis nice to meet cha.
My name is Stefan." He hooked his arm into hers, if she did not
protest, took the first step out past the gate with her and
looked both ways. "So, which ways, t'e wind takin' us?"

His charming nonchalance brought a smile to Aoife’s face. Her
only response was a roll of her eyes, knowing full well her
hypothesis was spot on, though she didn’t press the matter any
further. The view outside the gate was familiar; a sight she saw
just last night with Jasper, and upon looking both ways she
easily deciphered which way they went to get to the maze. The
sudden contact made her body tense unceremoniously, for a brief
second Aoife debated whether or not she should shrug out of his
arm, but decided against it, leaving their arms linked - she was
being social, after all. “You’re in for a grandiose adventure,
Stefan.” Without warning she turned to the left, the opposite
direction she went with Jasper, and kept a quick pace, not
wanting to give the cameramen enough time to follow them. Aoife
could only hope they got away in time, though she was berating
herself; a disguise. They were going out in public and were well
known. She didn’t want to be attacked by a mob of fans - though
she wasn’t expecting any to come for her. Maybe they could get
something with the five dollars in her pocket, though it would
be less than extravagant it would hopefully make due. “So
Stefan, how’re you liking it here? Didn’t go to the party last
       night, did you?”

He didn't show any hesitation for his action as he felt the
muscles in her arms tense against his as he held her arm in the
hook of his. When she relaxed and he still had a friendly hug on
her arm, Stefan smiled. "Not one for physical contact, aye?" It
took a bit for him to coerce the vowels and consonants
frequently missing from his normal speech into reality, but they
did appear when he needed them to. "I'm lookin' forward to this
adventure." He turned with her as she abruptly dragged him to
the left for a moment as they worked their way. She whisked him
down the street at a pace h was not a stranger to. This was the
pace of someone who wished to escape. Fleeing the prying eyes of
the others, perhaps. He didn't question it too much, he wasn't
one for everything going on at the house as much as he should
be, or so the producers told him. "I do't really like bein'
'round too many peeple." He shrugged and continued. "I don't
mind it 'ere. I got a nice cozy room n' plenty of readin'
materials. How 'bout you? 'ow 're you likin' it 'ere?"
