Aoife took the hint and made a move to set the hat on his head,
though the second before it would even touch his head she drew
her arm back and sat it atop hers with a mischievous twinkle in
her eyes, pink tongue peeking out from behind her lips. With a
nod of her head they were off, Jasper leading her by the hand.
She couldn’t help but to look at it with a small smile on her
face, shaking off the feeling when they reached the door. Before
Jasper could get to it, Aoife bounded ahead and pulled it open,
motioning him through with another grand gesture. When he passed
in front of her she pulled off the hat and plopped it down on
the head of its rightful owner, following closely behind him,
pulling the door shut. “Where to..?”

Jasper pinched the woman's ear playfully when she decided to put
the hat on her head instead of his own. He didn't take it from
her, however, instead allowing her to wear it, despite the fact
that it was clearly intended to go with his blazer. "Why thank
ya kindly ma'am!" he said in his best southern Louisiana accent
when she opened the door for him. It was actually pretty
convincing, despite the fact that he had never played such a
       role before.
As they stepped outside, the sounds of the party permeated their
ears, the music rang down from the roof, as well as the lights,
and various voices, Kadira's of course, ringing out above the
others. He didn't look back, however. There was more to be
enjoyed on the ground now, than there was up there. He slowed
his pace to allow Aoife to catch up after closing the door,
smiling as she returned his hat tohis head and asked where they
were going. "I don't know." He lied. "I say we just follow the
       wind."
In truth, Jasper knew this area of southern California very
well. He used to dream of living in this area once upon a time.
And though it wasn't the way he had expected, he was now living
that very dream. There was a park and hedge maze, only a few
blocks away, and after only a few minutes, they would arrive.
"Hey, check that out!" Jasper said, his eyes lighting up with a
brilliant yellow. Jasper had seen this place from the outside
before, but never set foot inside it. He was truly excited. Much
like the roof, the park was well lit with decorative lights, and
in the center of the maze, was a beautiful fountain. At the
exit, was a Gazebo, but none of these facts was Jasper aware of.
It would be a new adventure for the both of them...

His words weren’t very convincing, but the way he lead her
around made it seem like he knew exactly where he was going.
Aoife gave him a curious look but didn’t question his motives
any further, rather she silently hoped he wasn’t taking her to
some abandoned building to cut her skin off so he could wear it
to the party at the house. It was when they neared a well lit
area did the woman do away with thoughts of him being a serial
killer, a sheepish smile coming to her lips as if he knew what
she was thinking about. His excitement was contagious, and soon
the smile on her face grew and her eyes sparkled. As they got
closer she realized it was a hedge maze. That only made her
excitement grow. “A maze..” She said with a wispy sigh, giving
Jasper a dreamy look. If he was trying to charm her then he was
doing a darn good job of it. “No point in waiting. I want to
know what’s at the end of it!” With a bright giggle she grabbed
his arm, tugging him impatiently to the mouth of the hedge maze,
signifying the start, hand slowly trailing down his arm under
       their hands were clasped.

Aoife's excitement was all the confirmation Jasper needed; This
was the right move. As she practically dragged him into the
maze, he couldn't help but wonder if the cameras knew where they
were, If their escape to this place had been forseen... But he
didn't let it draw from his enjoyment of the moment. He took her
hand, as she took his, and they went into the maze. The walls of
perfectly trimmed foliage were lined with lights at the ground
level, but even more beautiful, were the flowers that decorated
them along the way. There was a secret to the way the flowers
were grown; The closer you got to the exit, the more roses were
visible on the walls of the maze. It wasn't made painfully
obvious, however, so it didn't stop Jasper from picking a single
rose to give to the lady he wore on his arm.
The maze wasn't simple. There were many wrong turns and dead
ends which the two would travel; Some of which Jasper would
blatantly blame Aoife for, and others he would take
responsibility for, but at every one of them, laughter would
take him. And after taking virtually every wrong turn they could
take, the two would find themselves at the Garden located in the
center of the maze. The focal point of the garden was a grand
fountain, that spouted water in many different ways, and was lit
so brightly that the stars were no longer visible above. "Looks
like we're making progress!" Jasper said, taking a seat at the
edge of the fountain, and patting the spot next to him. He
figured this was a good time for a break. Many colors swirled in
and out of his eyes as he looked over at his companion. "So why
did you decide to join this project?" He asked, his eyes
shifting to the floating waters for a moment before returning to
their target. "Surely you realized you would be around a lot of
       people..."

Aoife was impressed with the design of the maze--it was
breathtaking. Lights guided them through the dimly lit maze,
roses decorated the walls. The woman graciously accepted the
flower he gave her, managing to place it behind her ear
delicately so she wouldn’t be burdened with holding it the whole
time, her hand giving his a gentle squeeze in thanks as they
       wandered into the maze.
The couple took a plethora of wrong turns, all of which resulted
in playful banter and accusations. Aoife felt it was Jasper’s
fault they ran into all the dead ends they did, but the man
adamantly refused her facts, claiming it was her fault. It took
quite some time, but they eventually made it to the center of
the maze. Aoife found it even more beautiful than the maze
itself. “Wow..” She mumbled to herself, spinning around to get a
full view of the place before she lowered herself down onto the
bench next to Jasper, sparkling eyes continuing to take in every
beautiful detail of the little garden and fountain. His question
gained her attention, her eyes sneaking a quick peak at his
chiseled face before settling on the fountain. “My agent said it
would be a good way to make new connections.” A hand rested on
the bench between them with the purpose of holding her torso up.
Aoife would be lying if she said she didn’t want him to hold her
hand. It was like high school all over again--well, like the
movies she played in with high school-centered plot lines.
Nervous butterflies, constant blushing. She was under his spell!
“I was hesitant to agree at first..” She trailed off, eyes
sliding around the scenery. “But I’m glad I did.” A cheesy line
for a cheesy moment. To add on to her cliche words her eyes
focused on him, a small smile on her face.

This was much better than a party... Not that Jasper didn't love
his social opportunities, but this was something completely
different. He had always been a charmer. He always knew what to
say to get just the reaction he wanted. But this wasn't
scripted. It wasn't planned. He was going off the book, and
letting the wind carry him, just as he had said he would, and he
liked where it was taking him. For the first time he felt that
he was in a place where things weren't forced; where he didn't
have to try to impress anyone. A place where the Renegade was
just a character, and Jasper could truly shine through...
When Aoife seated herself on his left side, he started to reach
for her hand, but stopped, instead listening intently to what
she had to say. It wasn't until she finished her explanation
that he scooted closer to her, enabling her to lean on him for
support. His left arm then snaked around her, fingers lacing
with the smaller digits on her left hand. "I never thought about
the networking aspect of it. To be honest, I agreed to this
because I was curious. I wanted to see what it was like to be
one of the guys on the Reality TV shows; Getting paid to be
lazy, and not do any real work... Party all the time..." He
chuckled to himself. "I never had any expectations of it, but
       I'm glad I came too...."
The bright yellow color in his eyes softened a bit, before
swirls of peach joined the mix. In the movies, this would be the
big kissing scene; The scene where the relationship between the
male and female lead was solidified... But that was too cliche
for Jasper. So instead, he reached back, and splashed the woman
with crystal clear water from the fountain! "Who else would be
here to give you a hard time?!" He asked with a laugh before
bounding out of the woman's reach, and further into the maze.
Though he ran from her, he made sure not to get too far out of
reach, ensuring that she was chasing him before moving too far
       ahead.

His body was so warm. It was almost as if she were drawn to him,
moth to flame, when he scooted a fraction closer to her. Aoife’s
body easily leaned against him, if anything slightly tense. What
they were doing was intimate--for her at least. She’d only ever
played romantic interests in movies, never before did she have
to act out those scenes without a script. But there was
something about it, something about the warmth and comfort it
brought, that made like it, if only a little. However there was
also that part of her--that teeny tiny part of her brain in the
dark corners of her mind--telling her Jasper was only doing this
for the sake of the show. At that thought she found her eyes
looking not at the beauty of the area they were in, but for the
shiny black lenses of cameras following them. So far she
couldn’t see any, but she did have a sneaking suspicion at least
one of them were following the duo.
“You never really struck me as the be lazy and party type. I
guess it’s understandable though. You work so hard you deserve a
break--a lot of the house guests do to.” Aoife flashed the man a
small smile, a light dusting of pink on the apex of her cheeks.
The smile was quick to vanish when he splashed her with the
       water.
Aoife froze, shocked. “You.. did not just do that.” As she spoke
her head slowly raised to look at him standing several feet out
of her reach. With her expression becoming one of a playful
glare the woman shot to her feet and darted after him, a slew of
giggles falling effortlessly from her lips. Through the maze
they went, lefts, rights, straights. Aoife didn’t know where
they were going, she was too busy thinking about the things
she’d do once she got her hands on him that she didn’t pay any
attention to the direction they were traveling. It was a good
thing for her she had high stamina--Jasper had to be gasping for
air by now. That was her only hope of catching him and making
him learn his lesson, but in reality that would take far too
long. Aoife then began to devise a plan, faking a fall and
twisted ankle to get him to return to her. Of course, being the
ever so graceful woman she was, Aoife legitimately fell, tripped
over some invisible rock and was sent tumbling forward with a
high pitched, girlish yelp. Just like in her master plan, Aoife
twisted her ankle, though she didn't have to pretend it was in
pain because it really was--the skin was already a bright red,
it would only be a matter of time before the bruising set in.

It was true... Jasper had been to his fair share of parties, but
that was never his lifestyle, nor his personality. He worked
hard and he benefited from his hard work. But everyone deserved
a break, and in his eyes, this show very well may have been that
break. "So do you, Aoife... He said calmly. He couldn't say the
same of everyone in the house. They were all talented, but that
didn't necessarily mean they were all hard workers. He would
have to get to know everyone to know for sure.
But all the calmness faded when the chase began. The two laughed
and enjoyed each other as they ran through the maze, But Jasper
knew that eventually he would run into a dead end, and be
captured. Surprisingly, he made it quite a way before turning to
see a dead end ahead, but just before he did, a clumsy Aoife hit
the ground. He immediately stopped running, and rushed to her
side. "Are you alright?" He asked, examining her ankle to see
that it was already beginning to buise. His eyes shifted to a
solid brown color as he moved her foot slightly in each
direction, checking for fractured bones. "It's not broken, but
it's going to leave a pretty bad bruise..." He said calmly. He
made no attempt to move for the moment, instead weighing his
options, and unaware that this was all a part of a plot...

Aoife couldn’t help but to blush as he came rushing to her side,
no doubt worried the clumsy girl did something serious to her
ankle. She winced as he moved the tender bruise around, making
sure she didn’t fracture any bones. “I’m fine, it’s just a
bruise. If it was anything more I would know.” She said in an
attempt to reassure him, placing a delicate hand on his
shoulder. Of course, it didn’t matter that she got injured, her
plan could still be put into play!
The hand on his shoulder trailed down until it clasped the back
of his neck. In the next second Aoife lunged herself at him,
pushing him over with a triumphant smile and a mischievous glint
in her eyes, whimsical chuckles slipping through her lips as she
toppled on top of him, using all of her weight to pin him down.
“Now apologize for getting my hair wet.” She demanded in a
playful tone, purposefully dangling the wet ends of her thick
       brown hair in his face.
