       What holds you back?

Know what makes characters interesting? Weaknesses. The
weaknesses, and handicaps of characters is what makes them
relatable, and likable. It makes us want to root for them.
There's nothing more boring than a perfect character, with no
personality flaws and no physical weaknesses.
Your challenge is to create a character with a serious handicap.
And I don't mean the false handicaps people use nowadays, like
they're blind, but they can "see" with their ears, or their
mysterious "inner eye" I mean a true handicap, what truly has an
effect on the character's life. It doesn't have to be physical.
It could be an emotional, or mental handicap that holds them
back. Just make it interesting. Try your character out, and see
just how fun it is to work within the parameters set for your
       character!

       Name: Steven Daye
       Age: 23
       Gender : male
       Occupation: call center representative
Appearance: A well dressed young man. Tan skinned with a sharp
haircut. He has beautiful Brown eyes, and though he isn't
particularly buff, he's in decent shape.
Personality: friendly and patient, Steven had never had a
problem making quick friends. His problem, however, makes it
extremely difficult for him to keep them, so over time he had
become reserved, preferring to avoid social situations as much
add possible. He's very artistic, but where he used to draw and
paint people, he now sticks to works of landscapes, and other
scenery. His lonely life had lead him to carry a very sullen
demeanor, but he is still excellent at putting on a smiling mask
       when necessary.
       Strengths: highly intelligent, artistic, excellent
       interpersonal skills, strong memory.
Weakness: Steven had a mental disorder that makes it impossible
for him to recall faces or voices. For example, if he were to
get married, no matter how long he remained with his wife,
when she left the room and returned, he would not recognize her.
This had put a strain on his relationships with people
throughout his life, and left him to life quite lonely.
