Formless; like water.. Eyes; like a cat...

---------------------------------------------------------
Chains rattled as they drug behind the cat woman who was held in
captivity; a special collar slung around her thin, yet muscular
neck. She rolled her shoulders and sat upon her knees as the
shadow of the "Doctor" bared down upon her. She must have had
another job for this special woman to partake in. [I need you to
infiltrate the government building downtown and procure some
special documents for me. They are in here..] The stern voice
called out as she tossed a folder of documents and pictures
toward the cat-woman. She flinched and bowed her head as she
slowly sifted through the paper work. [ The main accountant who
has access to the documents is pictured there.] She said as she
pointed. [ Her name is Tasha Martin and you will assume her
identity. You have the passcodes and all relevant information
needed to complete the task at hand. You are the best I have and
this is of the utmost importance. Don't fuck this up, Lynx, or I
will have you put down..] The woman was serious, as she bared
witness to some of her sisters being put to death for failure.
Lynx was resourceful and able to quickly adapt. That's probably
why she was Doctor's favorite; plus she was the prettiest of the
cat women. The chain link leash was undone, yet the collar, that
was black and studded with diamonds remained on. It was a safety
device if the Doc needed to send a shock or death to the pets.
She wore this all of her life, only upgrading in size as she got
bigger. Nodding to herself as she took in all pertinent
information, Lynx took the form of the woman in she needed to.
Though the woman's eyes were brown, the green eyes of Lynx shone
through, so, of course, an excuse would have to be made. That
was easy...
A dark skinned woman, mid twenties, beautiful showed up to the
building. 'Hello Tasha! Love your eyes!' Here it was. Someone
noticed already. "Thank you, Shawn! They are contacts. I just
wanted to try something different today, ya know?" She replied.
"Don't know how I feel about them though..." 'It suits you!' The
man said. Lynx just smiled and made her way into the building.
The layout was just as the blue print described. She followed
Tasha's routine to the letter and actually managed to procure
the documents quite quickly. This wasn't Lynx's first job and
wouldn't be her last, so she knew exactly what she needed to do.
Now, the escape. How would she make her way out of the building
without being seen as suspect?!"I forgot my phone!" She said as
she left her desk and headed outside; documents hidden inside of
her purse. The shifting wouldn't last much longer so she had to
get back before she's forced to shift back. She already used too
much energy already...
So, she headed out of the door and onto the patio. . . Ready to
make her way to her car...

"Ah, there we go!" Ryllae exclaimed with great relish. It was
not difficult to hide one's self among the masses of ignorant
beings. They only saw what they wished to see, despite what
truly dwelled within this world. For her, she simply wore a hat
pulled down over her ears and make-up that hid the sharp angles
of her cheek bones. Humans had created the products needed to
allow her to traverse their world without the need for magic;
and we all know how draining magic can be.
Most days, Ryllae would meander about, eventually turning up at
her place of employment whenever she desired. Today, though,
there was a sense of urgency to her usual fluid movements. The
issue with all of this, she could not place the reasoning for
such a need to rush. Her mind was so clouded, she rushed out of
the door without all of her make-up.
Long legs set the pace for a brisk jog and carried her down the
grimy sidewalk. Ryllae only lived a short distance from her
office, a distance she covered in less than five minutes with
her enhanced speed. The panic she felt only increased when she
neared the building, causing her to ram into a woman with her
full momentum. Her butt hit the concrete heavily and her jaw
snapped shut. "Dang it! Would you please..." She paused and
glanced at the woman, "Oh Tasha, I am terribly sorry. I didn't
see you there." A haunting thought, much more disturbing than
her panic, entered Ryllae's mind. Of course, every one she
worked with knew her as Alisha; but this person was not her
coworker, that much she can tell. "I promise I will be more
careful next time," she called as she entered the building,
though a suspicious gaze followed the woman until she rounded a
corner.

Everything was going fine and all things were on point. 'Tasha'
was checking her purse for the keys to the duplicate car that
was supplied to her by the 'Doctor' in order to fit in well;
they had thought of everything! The objective was complete, all
she had to do was escape and make it back to the station with
the goods and a treat shall be hers. Maybe a day outside of the
cages that kept them imprisoned. Maybe her freedom would finally
be granted to her. Maybe... 'oof.' In the midst of
contemplation, she was knocked onto her backside and the wind
almost knocked out of her. A silent hiss left the woman's lips
before catching herself to quickly gain composure. Nothing was
told of this woman; she was a an unknown variable. She obviously
knew Tasha and would expect some type of reply, but before she
could say anything, the woman got up, apologized, then turned
away to head into the building. The way the woman was eying her,
it would seem that she was suspicious of Lynx; maybe she had
been compromised. If that was the case, she would definitely be
smart to leave as soon as possible. Standing up, Lynx scooped up
all of the supplies that was spilled during the crash. The keys
to the car had, unfortunately, found their way under the
vehicle. So, that made Lynx have to crawl under the car to reach
for the keys. Upon finally grabbing them, she would unlock the
car and get inside. She sat in the driver seat, took a deep
breath and composed herself. It was time to return.

Ryllae was met with the usual morning greetings, with the
addition of a few stares of uncertainty. It wasn't until she
reached her private office that she understood why. The sharp
outlines of her cheeks were partially visible, outlining a very
inhuman bone structure. "Well, hell," she muttered under her
breath. Thankfully, she had make-up in her desk for such an
occasion, though this was the first instance it was needed.
Ryllae did not want to give herself up yet, not when she had
just received such a generous promotion.
However, 'Tasha' was nagging at the back of her mind. The two
knew each other, had had a few drinks once or twice; but Tasha's
demeanor seemed a bit off to her. Tasha would have been the
first to apologize when they had collided, and not the other way
around. Also, the distinctive green eyes were too intense to be
fake. Ryllae could remember reading scrolls and tomes, back in
her home village, of creatures that held such uncanny and
fathomless green eyes; creatures capable of a natural gift for
them, shifting.
Stepping from her office, she headed towards the exit in an
attempt to catch up with the Tasha imposter. Each step she made,
a word slipped silently from her lips, words to an elvish
incantation used for tracking. ("Reveal the path, outline the
journey, bring me to the one I seek.) The magic required was
minimal, but zapped her of a bit of her energy.

Elysium tonight. Mons Ignis today. But before that, the office
building on the other side of the city. Michonne's schedule was
full tonight. She strapped into her Earthcrawler; the giant hunk
of metal that could speed past 90% of the cars in this city,
revved to life and peeled out, smoke brewing behind it. Her
breath caught as she waited for the open point, the c-section in
the borders to part and let her onto the street above. When it
finally did, she smirked. Pushing the pedal to the metal, she
crawled farther toward the building. As her vehicle neared it,
she made a right turn, and pushed on away from her mark. She
would have to be hidden elsewhere. Coming to a halt in an
underground garage, Michonne killed the engine and crawled out.
She'd have to make this quick.
Up the stairs, she slinked along, attempting to avoid any
unwanted attention. On the roof, she pulled a gun and aimed it
across a string of rooftops. Vwoosh. Sailing through the sky,
the hook finally met it's match a good 84 yards away. With a
tug, she found her ground. Seconds later, she too sailed through
the air. Barreling towards the mirror-paneled building, Her body
collided much harder than she would have liked. Steadying
herself, she made use of the materializer she'd been lent. It
attached itself to the window, making the space transparent
enough that Michonne could slip in. Once inside the file room,
where thankfully not a soul had heard, she pulled the
materializer and her zipline in with her. Immediately, she
stripped out of the leather suit she'd been clad in to sneak in.
Underneath was the typical attire she needed to fit in here.
Rushing the file drawer, she pulled it open and pressed through
the holodisks. Finally, she found the one that she required.
Downloading it onto her cortex, she slipped out of the room, the
rest of her belongings quietly hidden on her. Out in the open,
she hoped that no one would recognize she was out of place among
the others that belonged in the office buildings. She went
unnoticed. Until the stairs, at the very least. What seemed to
be the only guard to have seen her trailed her down halfway.
Luckily, he didn't make a sound. One swift kick and an uppercut
was all it took to knock him out. She was faster, and stronger.
She kept up, lest anyone else find out that she didn't belong,
and they alarm the entire building. She made her way out and
onto the street. She passed two women, one of which, caught her
eye. She stole a glance at her as the other entered the
building. There was something about her. Those eyes, maybe. She
sensed there was something off. But, Michonne also now felt
uncomfortable in her own, usual slinky attire. And in her own
skin. She couldn't put her finger on it, but she felt as if
she'd seen this woman before. There was no time to wonder. From
within the building, she heard the sound of an alarm. It was
time to go. But not before she figured out where this woman was
headed. She slipped into the crowds of Clayr, back to the
Earthcrawler. Out into the street she went, catching up with the
car, not so aesthetically different from hers. She would trail
her as long as she could.
