Georgia sat down next to Kayden, wondering how she had gotten so
lucky. This woman was doing far more for her in less than two
days than Mark did in three years. Her heart swelled with join
and she began to kiss Kayden all over the face, while whispering
between kisses, "I am so freaking lucky!" Finally, she placed a
kiss upon Kayden's lips and turned to look at the computer.
"There," Georgia pointed at the screen, "a flight leaving in two
hours. That should be plenty of time, don't you think?" She
herself had never flown. Instead, she packed as much as she
could that would fit in a suitcase and rode the bus. It was a
horrible ride and she would never do that again in her life.
With a grin, and using Kayden's phone, she sent her sister Benny
a text telling them to head to the airport.

"I am, love," Georgia replied with a smile. This would be her
first vacation in a very long time, even though they weren't
leaving town. Still, her sisters were coming to spend Christmas
with her and Kayden, and that was amazing. The only bad side is
that they would have to leave eventually, and go back to school,
just as she would. If Genny and Gabriella were here, she would
be extremely happy. She would have her girlfriend and her family
nearby whenever she needed them, and that was all she really
wanted.
A mischievous grin pulled at the corner of her lips as she took
Kayden's hand and led her into the hall. "The only way I could
ever repay you, baby, would be to marry you," she said in the
way of a joke. Though it wouldn't be bad if they did, it was far
too soon to even consider the possibility fully. That didn't
stop Georgia from joking though.

"No baby, I've got it handled." Georgia placed her bag in the
back of Kayden's car then turned and pulled the girl in for a
kiss. The kiss warmed her chilled lips and aided in flushing her
cheeks further. Opening her eyes and pulling back, she stared
into her girlfriend's eyes. "How did I get so lucky?"
Cold air began to chill her to the bone; and being from south
Florida, she hated the cold. "Let's get in the car, love," She
whispered and hurried around to the passenger side. Envy pulled
at her heart a little bit, but she would not allow herself to be
controlled by it. Kayden had more than she could ever imagine
herself having. It wasn't Kayden's fault though, she didn't ask
which family to be born into.

A look of concentration passed over Georgia's face, wondering
where they could go to eat. After a moment, she pulled a beanie
out of her purse and pulled it over her head. A grin in place,
she turned in Kayden's direction and puckered her lips,
"Surprise me, baby. I don't know town all that well." She was
smiling the entire time, but kept her lips puckered.
While her eyes were covered, she began to think about the past;
not of Mark, but of her sisters. The three of them had been
inseparable as young children. But, as she aged, Georgia had
distanced herself from Genny and Gabriella. She still loved them
greatly, but they had begun to 'cramp' her style. When Mark came
into her life, though, she began to realize what she was taking
for granted; mostly because he would keep her away from home as
much as possible.

Peeking out from beneath her hat, Georgia glanced at her
girlfriend. "Genny is fourteen and Gabriella is sixteen. The
three of us Are nearly two years apart, exactly. There are five
days in between my birthday and Gabriella's birthday, with
Genny's in the middle. We are some much like one another, that
we tend to get on each other's nerves a bit." The more she spoke
of her siblings, the larger her smile became. They were
definitely the reason she still had hope for life, even when
Mark had tried to suffocate that hope.
"What about you, baby? Do you have any siblings?" Georgia was
genuinely curious. She wanted to know everything there was about
her girlfriend, aside from the fact she had a lot of money.
Kayden and Georgia were complete opposites in that aspect,
Georgia had to use the a scholarship to even pay for schooling.
Not that she was mad at Kayden for the money she had, but she
felt that she had everything she needed without money. That
would include Kayden, because that woman made Georgia's heart
skip a beat with every kiss.

"Well," Georgia started with a grin, "you now have me and my
sisters. They can be your siblings too, baby." Lifting her hand,
she cupped the back of Kayden's skull and pulled her in for a
sensual kiss. "Thank you, Kayden. This means so much to me. You
have no idea how happy you have made me. I," She paused for a
moment and kissed her girlfriend again, but let her last
statement die into obscurity. There was no point in rehashing
the past any further. The future was right in front of her, in
the shape of a beautiful, sweet, and caring woman.
Cold air assaulted her again the moment she opened the car door,
but she wouldn't run inside without Kayden. No, she would brave
the cold long enough to allow her girlfriend exit the car and
join her on the sidewalk. Given the chance, Georgia would show
her life from her perspective. Having fun despite having large
amounts of money available, making the most of any situation,
and last but certainly not least she would show her how much fun
mud could be. Well, when the snow melted, and the trails were
available. "Tell me, Kayden, have you ever taken a four-wheeler
through a mud hole before?"

"I bet you haven't been with a southern girl at the helm," she
said with a wink. The image of Kayden covered in mud sent a
shiver down Georgia's spine, and not a bad one. "Baby, I will
show you how to have fun when funds are limited. I promise you
will have the time of your life." Another image invaded her
mind, this one of Kayden in a bathing suit and lying in the sand
next to her. Kayden back in Florida with her would be amazing,
yet terrifying.
For a moment, she wasn't certain how to continue the
conversation just yet, but she was certain that she would. All
that mattered to Georgia was keeping Kayden happy. Happiness in
life made all of the bad time bearable; and right now, she was
happy.
With the menu in front of her, she wasn't sure what she wanted
to eat. The best option would be to ask for a suggestion. "What
is really good here, baby?"

"Just wait until we go down to Florida! You are going to have
a," Georgia froze as her eyes widened. She couldn't take Kayden
home. Mark would descend upon the two of them faster than they
could say help. Well, they could always go to her aunt's in Key
West. Mark didn't know about that place. "We can go to Key
West," she said finishing her previous statement. Eventually she
would have to get over her fear of that man, but it was still
too soon now.
The waffle with scrambled eggs looked appetizing enough, as did
a glass of orange juice. "Oh, I've got what I'm having!" She
said with a giggle. Her blue eyed gaze wandered up to Kayden's
face. Georgia became mesmerized by her girlfriend's beauty and
she wanted to lean over the table and kiss her, which she did.

"I will take waffle with scrambled eggs and a glass of orange
juice. Oh, and do y'all have grits?" Georgia perked a bit more
for a moment, but frowned when she was informed that they
didn't. It did not last long, though, because she had the
beautiful Kayden to brighten her up. She couldn't help but smile
when looking into her girlfriend's beautiful eyes.
"Oh, and when we go out on the water in my uncle's boat, you
will have a blast. I love the water, I love the beach, and I
love you! I would be in heaven on the beach with you and my
sisters by my side." Reaching across the table, Georgia took
Kayden's hand and squeezed light; just as Kayden's phone beeped
with the sound of a text message. "That should be Genny. I asked
her text your phone when they were boarding. They should be here
in a few hours." Excitement began to bubble off of her in the
form of bouncing in her booth seat.

Still holding Kayden's hand, Georgia check her girlfriend's
phone with her free hand. Her suspicions were confirmed, Genny
and Gabriella were on there plane. Today was going to be the
greatest day of her life, well except for Christmas. "Baby, I
have an idea."
