Re: Welcome to the League of Draven.

'How could you sacrifice yourself for someone who hurt you? I
still clearly don't understand this so called... Game...' Taking
back a quick voluntary breath, I agreed and followed the excited
wishes of my Summoner. Without much more hesitation, my feet
paraded and began to step past the sacrificial martyr of a
support. By contact I felt how cold she was. How determined she
was. How scared she was. In my mind I was tortured by guilt and
misery at the burden of letting her haunt my thoughts once
again. 'I'm sick of this... How can you obey so willingly? Not
two days and I've felt life and death betray me...' Shaking my
head I got out of there with nothing audible anymore to my ears.
It was driving me insane, the push and pull of responsibility
tug on my head. Stillness awaited me like a bellhop beside an
elevator, waving me on inside its steel doors. Madness pressured
me, navigating the elevator downward in a cyclonic spiral. Doors
opened within my thoughts and there I was. In hell.
... First Blood.
The words shattered my eardrums and hatred crawled inside to
make its nest. Even in her death I mourned the loss of dear
friend control. When I stepped back out there fully rejuvenated
I took anger and poured each hit into the Wolves, the Golems,
the Wraiths, the Lizards. There wouldn't be any sight of my
embarrassed shame until I knew I had the power to protect what
innocence was left. Luckily, most of our lanes were doing quite
fairly so there wasn't too much of an upset by the lack of
presence I had. Syndra was the only one having a bit of trouble,
but her stuns and Barrier were keeping her alive long enough to
harm Zed just as much. Not to mention she was rushing Zhonyas to
make Zed's ult a bit harder to pull off.
However, late into the game I reemerged finally with one level
ahead of the others and gold to spare. Level 12, with two towers
gone on our side but the same for them. Our last frontier of
first towers stood firm gracefully under the management of none
other than the Bane of my Nightmares herself kept Ashe and
Alistar at bay. However, we knew very well that the raging cow
with no utters to milk had his impressive ultimate ready to dive
at any moment. Knowing that there was a dive, I knew that Lee
Sin the champion of quick tower dive kills would just have to be
nearby. I readied myself at behind turret tri-bush, with a ward
placed right at the entrance of our ramp from river. I just knew
he'd have to come. Ready was I to engage. Instantly I heard
scoffs from across the room of Summoners. All concerning how
lovely it was that I'd actually help for once. Something
irrelevant to me at the moment. What truly mattered was
protecting insanity over first impressions. As Alistar emerged
from the bush, I could see his flash go off almost as if in slow
motion. His ramming headbutt would be next to follow up on Varus
with a pulverize to clutter things messy. His nose snorted
loudly and his chains flailed madly as he was trampling the
ground we thought safe. That's when I saw the Blind Fool jump to
his friend. In bated breath I jumped in with my AoE slow and
shot my condemning Q as a soft whisper to push Alistar out of
the turrets range, forcing the turret to relocate to the
attacking Lee Sin.
'Now Varus! Keep them where we need them!' I looked for the
ultimate to stun the monk, potentially the Frost Queen herself
as well. Shielding myself from whatever Lee Sin had to throw at
me he looked for a way out. Spotting the very woman I resented
myself over, he thrusted his sonic wave at her to use her as a
means away from the tower. 'It's up to you! Stop him!' as I was
on the other side of the tower keeping Alistar from trying to
tank the tower again.
