The agility of this one made the woman pout if only for the
moment. She knew that her simple trick.would not work but the
way he eased away from it wholile in a memory induced trance
hurt her pride a little. His control overy the force was greater
than the woman imagined but it did not mean that he couldn't be
defeated, it just meant that she would have to try for once.
With a soft sigh, the woman shook her head with concern for the
one farther from her. He shouldn't have done that but why whine
about not having to make the shards herself? After thowing her
right hand in his direction, the ice shards changed from hitting
an unknown target to having Kolim as their new resting place.
But the small amount produced would not be enough to do anything
other than places a few cuts on exposed skin. Without much
thought, Misheru raise her left hand to her lips, blowing gently
across her palm. The wind died down almost suddenly, but only to
provide the feeling of a calm before a storm.
After listening to his words, her head tilted to the side. "My
interest is still piqued, I can guarantee that. But I do not
know if the Council will approve of you teaching me the force.
If they will, then I accept, but if not, then I do apologize
because I do not want to learn something that I am not suppose
to."

What was this? Koliam's eyes widened slightly as he had almost
not realized just what he had done. As if in instinct, his left
hand snapped up with his palm down to force-pull his lightsaber
to his hand. The speed at which it left his belt and moved to
his hand was enough to make a slight clapping sound between
flesh and steel before the "blade" end erupted in a blue energy
that stopped about three feet out. Immediately his body moved
into Stance Two - Soresu, or the "Circle of Protection," where
he would begin his defense.
The shards that moved towards him seemed to be about as quick as
the rounds of an assault blaster, but much smaller than those.
Though his concentration was slightly split, he'd have to do his
best. Immediately he moved to begin the "flowering Lotus"
motions, in which the lightsaber hummed as it spun in front of
him to deflect two or three of the shards, then behind him to
circle again in the same motion. The slight sting of pain
touched his right leg as he felt two more of the shards get
through his defense, but it didn't seem to be all that bad
considering they were only slight lacerations, and so he could
still at least finish the Lotus. The last of the shards would've
been dispatched with the last circling, which came halfway up
his back before whipping outwards to slash the last batch, then
return to the origin of his stance - lightsaber parallel to the
ground and out before him.
When the breeze stopped, Koliam looked around him before
realizing the origin of the halt was in fact the woman before
him. So perhaps she had more to her than what she showed
already? Satisfied of the situation, however, he deactivated his
saber before letting it drift back to his hilt. The piece of
wood he had held away from her before now drifted halfway
between them, his hand lowered but still allowing his palm to
point towards the object in question.
"Hm...A few knicks and cuts here, but alas it got through my
defenses, so we're halfway through." Koliam thought to himself
for a moment as he listened to the girl, pondering just what
path to take at this point. She'd have to gain permission from
her own in order to follow the path of the Jedi, and he'd have
no place to argue it. He couldn't attempt to persuade, either.
"I'm content with what you've shown me," he said with a smile.
"I won't try to stop you so long as you don't use your own body
to take the twig."
