Ares sat in his throne, bored out of his mind. It had been two
days since he had sent Artemis after Enyo. He had given her two
weeks to return with his sister, but already his patience wore
thin. He decided that if she didn't return within five days, he
would send someone else after the two of them. Enyo... He was
going to tear her to shreds when she returned! How dare she run
off just before a great battle! Ares plan to take over Athens
was almost ready. How dare she flake on him! Fire burned in the
God's eyes as he tried to contain himself. Big things were about
to happen. And he didn't have time to wait on Enyo...

The siege of Athens was underway! For two days Ares had battled
at the city built to honor Athena. With an Army of various
beasts and soldiors at his beck and call, it should have been an
easy battle, but Athena's army was formidable. Enyo would have
made this a much easier process, but the bitch up and
disappeared! She would pay for her insolence! And then there was
the other issue at hand... Something needed to be done about
that, and soon! A giant stomp crushed a nearby sanctuary built
for the purpose of praising his sister. What did she deserve her
own city for? She had done nothing of importance. Ares would
have this city for his own...

Bare feet slapped on the marbled floor of the illustrious
palace, Enyo's footsteps slow but deliberate. She kept her head
high and her face devoid of emotion, even though her heart was
pounting heavily against her breast. Esu had shown her a great
deal, all of which frightened her. Her father was waiting for
her, and he did not like to wait long. Thankfully, she could not
feel Ares' presence upon Olympus, which would keep her from
being beaten to death.
As she entered the throne room, Enyo nealt and bowed her head.
"I have returned as you reauested, father." While she spoke, she
lifted her gaze to meet his and wondered what made him order her
return.

---------------------------------------------------------
The king of mount Olympus, the one in place for many generations
now sat upon the golden throne looking around the mount. His
eyes flashed with a bright sapphire color lightning dancing
through the golden irises, he watched from the top of the mount
staring down at the pool of water watching as the god of war
tore through the city the mortals had dedicated to the goddess
of wisdom, Athena. The two armies struck against each other on
even ground the battle-hardened warriors of Ares versus the wise
and veterans of Athena and they seemed to be fighting on an even
par. Ares could have bitten off more than he could chew for
once, and for the first time in ages he could lose a war and for
some reason this caused amusement to come across the face of the
old king of gods. Then Ares did something that made him live up
to his title as the God of War he himself made an appearance
crashing into the golden statue dedicated to the cities goddess
causing his warriors to roar in triumph and the warriors of
Athena to begin fleeing in terror their panic stricken faces
probably causing glee to the face of the warriors. He turned to
rest his head upon his balled up fist his eyes slipping closed,
this war already losing interest to him.
Though it didn’t take long before his chambers were intruded
upon, the door had flung open and he shifted his eyes open
enough that he gazed his eyes upon the lesser god that stood at
the door, he was in a bowed position at first before the woman,
his daughter followed him in. She stepped to the bottom of the
throne and bowed just as all of the other lesser gods always do,
his eyes were wrought over in anger the lightning changing from
a dark sapphire to a dark golden, he had ordered her return to
the mountain and yet he had the right if he so wished to push
her from the mountain to the world below. His eyes fell upon the
lesser goddess that one within a few decades if he fell from
power she could possibly take his place, but his eyes didn’t
hold that loving gaze of a father who had just found his
daughter. He stood from the throne his feet pounding down the
stairs and passing her to the edge of the mountain top he stood
on, his fingers curled around the seeming air his lips parting
to speak.
“WHY?!”
His voice boomed over the entirety of the mountain, with each
tone of his voice thunder echoed along the open sky, behind it
lightning flashed golden in color forcing the mortals themselves
to run inside their homes and take shelter. Their eyes glazed
over with fear at the anger the gods now displayed, first with
Ares’ arrival to Greece and now the storm that brewed over the
entirety of Greece…Zeus turned his gaze upon the girl still
bowing at his throne the lightning still dancing through the
entirety of Olympus. His lips curled in an almost sneer, his
steps echoing as he stood back over her of course his
overwhelming presence echoing over the entirety of the mountain.
She knew the rules as much as anyone else and the one rule was
that lesser gods never set foot from the mountain for they were
not declared as immortal as the high gods were and she had
blatantly broke that rule.
“WHAT WAS SO IMPORTANT YOU HAD TO WALK FROM THE MOUNTAIN?!
KNOWING THAT THE RULES SAY EXECUTION FOR TREASON.”

The terror in her eyes was evident. Enyo had seen her father
angry before, but this was much more intense than ever before.
As much as she wanted to remain kneeling, she shot to her feet
and backed away from her father slowly. The words she wished to
speak were stuck her tongue, but she needed to speak her mind.
That, however would be a difficult task with his rolling anger.
"Daddy..."
Her entire body froze. She had not called him that in a very
long time, not since she was a child. Enyo's golden eyes moved
over his face, and a single tear slipped from her golden ears.
He had never shown anger towards her directly. With a deep
breath, she took a second attempt at speaking.
"Father, I was terrified. Ares beat me horribly. I don't want
that to happen anymore. I don't want to fight anymore. I have
seem things, been shown what will happen if Ares continues as he
is. We will all cease to exist if he doesn't stop fighting.
Please, Father. I didn't mean any disrespect, I needed to get
away from Ares."
Enyo failed to mention the other group of gods that she had met.
Zeus would consider her a heretic if she divulged that
information. That and she still hoped to see Esu again. Perhaps
this time he would kiss her back, though the possibly was not
there.
"Forgive me, father."

Daddy
That word one she had used a lot growing up and yet this time it
wouldn’t work, she was older and much wiser and he expected more
from her than her brother, and yet she was the first one to
break the laws of Olympus, HIS LAWS. After the defeat of the
titans he had put them into place to protect all of the family
and things he held dear, he raised his hand upwards and pulled
it down not in anger towards her but instead towards the ground
below the mount lightning striking the so distant earth below
echoing screams of the people rose to his ears and to his lips a
calming breath passed.
His anger hadn’t subsided as it should but it was no longer
directed towards her nor the gods around the city of Greece
below felt the raging storm. His golden eyes rested upon his
daughter as her words lifted towards his ears about Ares and the
beatings, yet he cared little for them he knew how the god of
war was as did she staying with her brother signified she would
go through something like that, what peaked his curiosity the
most is where she had gone. He had an eye over Greece, like a
bird watching a snack and yet her presence was one that did not
remain upon that realm meaning she had not only stepped forth
from Olympus she had treaded further. He rotated on his feet so
his back was now to her and stepped to the edge of his mount
looking off into the sky, another golden flash of light echoed
over the perch he stood upon leaving a thunderous boom in its
wake before he turned and rested those dark golden eyes upon
Enyo.
“And where did you tread to on your travels?”
He turned around once again his hands unfolding from his chest
to fall to his side and his eyes watching each strike of
lightning as it parted the clouds, he raised his hand before she
would have the chance to speak signifying for her not to speak
yet his hand closing into a balled fist before curling over his
chest again meeting with his other arm, he rotated to gaze upon
her again. His lips parting to speak that thunderous booming
voice again.
“Take Heed Child, I watch over all of Greece as the King of
Mount Olympus and you were nowhere among the city so choose your
words carefully.”

This discussion was going as she had expected. Zeus had ignroed
Enyo's words of warning, choosing to hear only what he wanted.
Exasperated, she took a seat on the steps that lead to her
brother's golden throne. It was as she remembered, all sharp
edges and adorned with the weapons of fallen heroes. At one
point, Enyo wanted nothing more than to sit in that throne; but
now, she didn't want to be in the same part of the world.
Enyo's gaze met her father's when she began to speak. "I was in
a land to the southwest of here. It was a beautiful country. It
gave me time to think and discover what I wanted out of
existence." Enyo extended her hand at that moment, her blade
appearing her in hand with the handle towards her father. "I am
relinquishing my sword, father. A goddess of warfare I am no
longer."
This stark revelation announced to her father brought her to her
feet. Enyo then moved to the edge of the mountain and peered
down at Greece. The image of a destroyed Greece tore her apart,
even as she watched her brother destroy Athens. "Father, Ares
has to stop. He will destroy all of Greece, and all us in the
process. We will all fade away and cease to exist. I have seen
it."
Her father most likely would not believe her unless she showed
him herself. But if she did, he would also see the gods that she
had met while she was away, and the inexplicable feels she had
for one of those gods. Enyo's eyes held a pleading demeanor when
she turned to her father once again. "Please father, he has to
be stopped."

It appeared the attack would be a success! Since joining the
battle, Ares had pushed things in his favor. Athena's forces had
all but fallen, and those who still lived could barely hold the
line. Buildings burned, and the residents had either perished,
or evacuated. Ares would soon claim this place as his own, and
make into his own headquarters, but there was only one thing
left to handle. "ATHENA!!!!" The God of War screamed aloud.
"Are you too cowardly to come and protect your city for
yourself?!" Across the land Athena was known as a warrior who
supposedly rivaled Ares in ability, and yet she had not
appeared to protect her own city from him! But as soon as Ares
called out to his sister, Someone appeared to face him. It
wasn't Athena, however. It was the Champion of the Gods! Had he
actually located the box? Impossible! But like Ares, Kratos
stood at colossal heights, capable of easily trampling the
entire city with his feet alone. "You are still just a mortal!"
Ares called out to Kratos. "Every bit as weak as the day you
begged me to save your life!
"I am not the same man you found back then. The monster you
created that day has returned to Kill you!"
"You have no idea what a true monster is, Kratos!"
The battle raged on for Hours, and it seemed that Kratos had
taken the advantage. Ares had taken on a number of wounds that,
to a mortal, would have been fatal. In an act of desperation,
Ares attempted to break Kratos' mind, showing him images of his
family being attacked by hundreds of visions of Kratos. In
Kratos' moment of weakness, Ares robbed him of the weapons and
powers granted to him by the Gods. He was preparing to execute
the broken Spartan, when Kratos suddenly grabbed the blade of
jAthena.
"Is this how you repay me Kratos? I saved your life!"
"I remember how you saved me that day..." Kratos eyes were full
of hatred, as visions of his wife and daughter ran through his
mind.
"I was trying to make you a great warrior!"
"You succeeded...
With that, Kratos stabbed Ares through the chest' The godly
blade doing it's job and ending the God of War for good. Kratos
immediately set his eyes on Olympus. His next role would be to
report to Zeus. He had accomplished his mission. Now to have
these nightmares removed from him...
